D-DAY 2014: 70 YEARS LATER

and rebelled against My law."

D-Day 2014

D-DAY 2014: 70 YEARS LATER

A DAY OF DELIVERANCE

Dear Saints of the Most High God,

When you hear the word, "D-Day," what do you recall?

This was one of the greatest days in American history when, during World War II, our nation joined with an armada of eleven other countries to stage the greatest invasion against evil known in the history of mankind.

Under the code name OVERLORD on June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops from 12 nations landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France. The nations were: Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Czechoslavakia, Poland, Belgium, France, Canada, United Kingdom, USA.

General Dwight D. Eisenhower called the operation a crusade in which "we will accept nothing less than full victory." More than 5,000 Ships and 13,000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion, and by day's end on June 6, the Allies gained a foot- hold in Normandy. The D-Day cost was high -more than 9,000 Allied Soldiers were killed or wounded -- but more than 100,000 Soldiers began the march across Europe to defeat Hitler.

This was the battle that turned the war and defeated the forces of evil under Nazi Germany. From that time on, the Germans were on the run, and were unable to win any more battles against the Allied forces.
Next Friday, June 6th, marks the 70th Anniversary of D-Day: seventy years since those 9,000 Allied troops sacrificed their lives or were wounded to secure our freedom. Praise God.
Sadly, however, in the seventy years since that glorious day, evil is now rampant in our land and, indeed, seems to have even taken over in some realms. The shedding of innocent blood through "legal" abortion, the advancement of same-sex marriage, the loss of religious freedom in the public square . . . all these are examples of the evil that has now gained entrance -- and authority -- in the gates of our land.

"Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the LORD, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law." (Hosea 8:1)

As we view America today, in realm after realm after realm, we have truly strayed from the path of truth and followed after other "gods." Having slid so far backwards in our own battle against sin, where, then, lies our hope?
Our hope lies in the Lord, who made heaven and earth, and in the promise
of His Word.

You see, in biblical history, the number "70" has key prophetic significance, for it was after 70 years of captivity in Babylon that GOD set the Israelites free and they were DELIVERED from the yoke of bondage and tyranny!

Daniel told Cyrus that the God of Heaven had appointed the Persian king to set the Jews free, "without price or reward," (Isaiah 45:13) for the purpose of rebuilding His temple. Cyrus was honored to learn of God's approval and blessings, and he issued the decree in Daniel's presence during the seventieth year in 536/5 B.C. Free at last! Israel was free to enter Canaan a second time.

Might there now be some way that we, too, at this "set time" in history, seek the Lord for deliverance?

Following the mandate of II Corinthians 10, verse 4, can we now utilize "the weapons of our warfare" in repentance to gain the victory over sin in our own lives and in our land? Is there still hope for our future?

The answer is: YES!

Just as our soldiers scaled those cliffs on Sword Beach during the Normandy invasion, taking down the "walls of evil" that faced them, we too can now move together to "scale the cliffs" of EVIL in our land and, through repentance, TAKE THEM DOWN by establishing a COVENANT WITH THE LORD that we will never return to those evil ways again!

THE TIME HAS COME FOR A NEW NORMANDY INVASION IN AMERICA!

THE TIME HAS COME FOR GOD'S PEOPLE TO BE DELIVERED FROM EVIL.

THE "SET TIME" IS NOW.

A Strategy for Victory

A Strategy for Victory

On THIS D-Day, God's people have an opportunity to come before the Lord in fasting, prayer, and repentance to re-establish our covenant with our Lord, as our forefathers did so long ago, that we WILL be His people and we will NOT stray from His Truth again!

Please consider again the warning from Hosea 8:1:

It is written: "Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the LORD, Because they have transgressed My covenant and rebelled against My law."

It is our violation of our covenant with the Lord that has allowed the enemy to encroach upon our land and upon our freedom, and which now must be nullified. As we do so by offering acts of repentance, we will "re-set" this nation back upon the plumbline of His foundation, trusting God to forgive us and to cleanse us of all sin.
IT IS TIME TO START OVER!

How to Win This Battle

How to Win This Battle

In order to gain the victory that the Lord wants to give us, we suggest five steps for renewal:

1. Confession our sin:

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)

2. Repent:

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 3:2)

3. Ask forgiveness:

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." (I John 5:14)

4. Receive forgiveness:

"I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the Lord'; And You forgave the guilt of my sin." (Psalm 32:5)

5. Establish a covenant with the Lord:

"They entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their ancestors, with all their heart and soul." (2 Chronicles 15:12)

"Jehoiada then made a covenant that he, the people and the king would be the LORD's people." (2 Chronicles 23:16)

For each of the "cliffs of evil" listed below, we invite you to stand in agreement of corporate repentance, following these steps.

Repent for our sins in the realm of:

1. GOVERNMENT
2. CHURCH
3. FAMILY
4. MILITARY
5. MEDIA
6. BUSINESS
7. EDUCATION
8. THE RACIAL DIVIDE AMONG US
9. OUR SINS TOWARDS ISRAEL
10. THE SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD, INCLUDING:
- ABORTION
- EUTHANASIA
11. OUR SINS AGAINST THE NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBES

And once we have repented of our sins, get ready for a time of REJOICING as we sense His Presence with us again! Everybody: get your shofars ready!!

> > > (We admit, a list this long is a bit overwhelming, but we encourage each one of you to take your time and allow the Holy Spirit to quicken unto you the burden of the Lord. He is waiting to hear our confession and to forgive us . . . let us not let Him down.)

Covenants in Scripture

Covenants in Scripture

As we examine the Word of God, searching for examples when Israel's kings established a covenant before our Lord, we see that time and time again, this was done.

The establishing of covenants often occurred either just before or just after a major battle was won over the enemies of Israel. Please find below several examples of the need to renew a covenant before Yahweh.

2 Chronicles 29:10,11 (King Hezekiah speaking)

" Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, that His burning anger may turn away from us.My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense."

2 Chronicles 23:16

"Then Jehoiada made a covenant between himself and all the people and the king, that they would be the Lord's people."

(See also: 2 Kings 11:4)

2 Kings 23:3

"The king stood by the pillar and renewed the covenant in the presence of the LORD--to follow the LORD and keep his commands, statutes and decrees with all his heart and all his soul, thus confirming the words of the covenant written in this book. Then all the people pledged themselves to the covenant."

2 Chronicles 15:12

"They entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their ancestors, with all their heart and soul."

Joshua 24:25

"On that day Joshua made a covenant for the people, and there at Shechem he reaffirmed for them decrees and laws."

2 Samuel 5:3

"When all the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron, the king made a covenant with them at Hebron before the LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel."

Join with Others in Prayer

Join with Others in Prayer

On D-Day, the Allied soldiers did not fight alone; they gathered in battalions and fought together. Although God will certainly hear our cries of intercession in our own prayer closets, D-Day 2014 is an excellent time to join with others in confession and repentance. And, whether we site all of our sins before the Lord, or simply those He quickens to us, as we seek the burden of the Lord, joined with others, His presence will surely be with us.

Some among you may wish to simply call another, and two will be joined in prayer.

For others, if you wish to secure a free conference line for a conference call, we recommend going to www.freeconferencecallhd.com.

This website offers a very easy way to secure your own conference line, so that your own battalion will be able to pray together over the phone, in agreement!

Allied with the National Day of Repentance

Allied with the National Day of Repentance

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners is proud to be allied with the National Day of Repentance as together we launch this "invasion of prayer" on D-Day 2014.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU VISIT THIS LINK TO READ AN INSPIRING VISION FOR THE WORK THAT LIES AHEAD OF US, WRITTEN BY PASTOR JEFF DALY.
This document provides many details about the actual invasion in 1944, as well as a "rallying cry" for God's soldiers to attack today's cliffs of evil again.

Thank you, Pastor Jeff!

A Set Time

A Set Time

The following is offered as: "food for thought."

Many of you, thinking back 20 years or so, might recall that 1994 was an historic year for our nation.

In the realm of politics, old pillars suddenly came crashing down, and a quiet revolution began to take place, first in the primary elections, and then in the general election in November.

By the end of that year, the power in both the House and the Senate was transferred to a new political party, and a revolution of sorts had begun . . .

And no one knew why . . .

That same year, we are aware that MANY fine prayer ministries were birthed, as well as our own. It was a "set time" of true awakening!

And no one knew why . . .

Well, as we have now pondered these matters in light of D-Day 1994, we see that that year marked 50 years since we won the battle over evil in World War II. A time of JUBILEE had arrived! And much was restored to its rightful owner!!!

WHAT GREAT NEWS THAT WAS THEN . . . EXCEPT . . . AS WE NOW GAZE UPON EVENTS IN OUR LAND OVER THOSE PAST 20 YEARS, WE SEE THAT WE HAVE NOW SERIOUSLY LOST THE GROUND THAT WAS GAINED AND THAT, WITHOUT DIVINE INTERVENTION . . . (please finish this sentence for yourself . . .)
D-DAY 2014 IS ANOTHER "SET TIME" TO SEE OUR NATION DELIVERED FROM BONDAGE. AND, AS WE EACH ESTABLISH OUR COVENANTS BEFORE OUR LORD, WE ARE SAYING THAT, THIS TIME, WE WILL NOT RETREAT!!

THANK YOU, GOD!

God's Promises for You

After Repentance:

God's Promises for You

" . . . if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

"Come now, and let us reason together,"
Says the Lord,
"Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool."
(Isaiah 1:18)

"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more." (Isaiah 43:25)

On Friday, June 6, 2014, may our Lord indeed hear our prayers . . . and heal our land. Shalom.
