1. Trump wishes Jewish community a happy New Year - Israel National News

US President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a message to the Jewish community in honor of the holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

"As the High Holy Days commence, Melania and I wish those observing Rosh Hashanah a blessed and happy New Year."

"This sacred day marks the start of a 10-day period of both celebration and reflection. Throughout the High Holy Days, those in the Jewish community engage in prayer and repentance, which culminate in the holiest day of the year in Judaism, Yom Kippur. Each day, with the blowing of the shofar, the Jewish people embark on a new spiritual journey to grow closer to Hashem and find a renewed sense of purpose in their faith," said Trump.

"As men, women, and children around the world partake in traditional liturgy and enjoy customary meals with loved ones, we are all reminded of the virtues we can incorporate into our lives to better us as a Nation-kindness, compassion, and love. Together, with devotion to these ideals, we can form more sincere bonds with people of all faiths to help spread peace and prosperity in the United States and abroad."

2. TV: Netanyahu will 'return mandate' next week; Gantz knows he can't divide Likud - Times Of Israel

The prospect of Israel being forced to a third round of elections within 12 months is growing increasingly realistic, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inclined to announce as soon as next week that he cannot form a majority, and the rival Blue and White party aware that it is unlikely to break apart Netanyahu's Likud party, Israeli TV reports said Friday night.

Both of Israel's main TV stations reported that Netanyahu, who was charged by President Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday night with the task of trying to muster a Knesset majority, and has 28 days to try, with the possibility of 14 more days if needed, is set to announce as soon as next week that he cannot do so, and will blame rival candidate Benny Gantz's Blue and White for the failure. Both Channels 12 and 13 said Netanyahu is set to "return the mandate" immediately after the Rosh Hashanah Jewish new year festival, which runs from Sunday evening to Tuesday night.

Rivlin would probably then invite Gantz to try to build a majority, but his Blue and White party considers it extremely unlikely that Knesset members from Netanyahu's Likud would revolt against their leader, and thus see no real path for Gantz to form a government.

3. Gaza terror group presents new rocket - Israel National News

The a-Nassar Salah a-Din Battalion, which serves as the military arm of the Popular Front terror group, has announced that it is beginning use of a new rocket.

In an announcement, the group said the new IQ25 rocket is dedicated to one of their group's founders, Ismail Abu al-Kamsaan.

The new rocket has a heavy warhead and can accurately hit targets up to 25 kilometers (15.5) away - including targets in Ashkelon, Kiryat Gat, Ofakim, Netivot, Sderot, and the outskirts of both Ashdod and Kiryat Malakhi.

In a video published by the Battalion, terrorists can be seen manufacturing and assembling the new rocket, and bringing it to an in-ground rocket launcher in an agricultural area.

4. Mandelblit To Fast-Track Decision On Netanyahu Indictment -Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's legal battle will move up a notch on Wednesday immediately after Rosh Hashanah, when his attorneys appear for his long-anticipated hearing with Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit.

Netanyahu's battery of lawyers will try to convince Mandelblit to cancel the planned indictment of the prime minister on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust, in the three cases known as 1000, 2000 and 4000, or at the very least to lessen the severity of the charges and convince the attorney-general to drop the bribery charge, the most severe of the suspicions.

Mandelblit's office is gearing up for the hearing and for the possibility that it will extend into Thursday as well. According to sources close to Mandelblit, the attorney-general plans to close himself off in the Justice Ministry with the approximately 20 prosecutors who have worked on the case with the aim of making a final decision on the indictment by the end of October or possibly the beginning of November.

5. UN: Israel's Foreign Minister, a Kohen, Invited All Nations to Third Temple - Breaking Israel News

While covering his address to the 74th session of the UN General Assembly last Thursday, most of the media focused on the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affair's harsh words concerning Iran and its renewed nuclear program. But the mainstream media missed a far more shocking aspect of his speech in which Yisrael Katz quoted the Prophet Isaiah in calling all of the gathered nations to come to the House of Prayer for All Nations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (a Levite), canceled his appearance in front of the UN General Assembly, ostensibly due to high-pressure coalition negotiations but it could be that he was deferring to his Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yisrael Katz, who is a Kohen (a descendant of Aaron the priest).

Katz presented himself to the UN by describing himself as the "son of Holocaust survivors Meir and Malka Katz, may they rest in peace."

"I want to thank the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for his historic and brave decision to recognize Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Jewish People for three thousand years, as the capital of Israel, and to relocate the American embassy to Jerusalem," Katz said. "I call on all countries to follow the United States and to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. No-one can separate the Jewish People, from our historical homeland, and no-one can separate us from Jerusalem, our eternal capital."

8. Take Two: Rivlin Nominates Netanyahu to Form Israel's Next Government - BFP

[Note: we did cover this news last week, but it is SO IMPORTANT, we are running this again today.]

Thursday, 26 September 2019 | Eight days after Israel went to the polls for national elections, President Reuven Rivlin last night tasked prime minister and leader of the Likud party Benjamin Netanyahu with the responsibility of forming Israel's next government-and ultimately serving as its prime minister.

The announcement came after talks failed to form a unity government and resolve the political deadlock between Netanyahu's Likud party and its main rival, former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Benny Gantz's Blue and White party.

Netanyahu now faces what Israeli media hail as "mission impossible" to scrape together the required 61-seat alliance between Likud and smaller political parties to form a majority government and head up the 120-seat Knesset (Parliament)-all within 28 days. This is the prime minister's second attempt to form a coalition this year. The first attempt followed the April elections and failed to bear the 61-seat fruit, sending Israel back for a second set of national elections on September 17.

Should the October 24 deadline come and go without Netanyahu garnering the 61-seat support he needs, Rivlin could pass the responsibility to Gantz, for whom the mission will be even slightly more impossible. (Read more)

- This is not a mission impossible for the God who is the Keeper of Israel and who puts leaders in place. Intercede for the outcome of Prime Minister Netanyahu's efforts at coalition building and plead with the Lord for the blessing of a leader who is strong and courageous, filled with wisdom and integrity, as Israel faces grave threats on every side.

- The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil. (Psalm 121:5-7b)

(Prayer offered by BFP.)

9. Trump Calls on Mideast Nations to Normalize Ties with Israel - BFP

Wednesday, 25 September 2019 | US President Donald Trump yesterday appealed to countries in the Middle East to fully normalize diplomatic relations with Israel. The motivating factor behind the president's call for strengthened alliances between the troubled region's largely Muslim countries and its Jewish neighbor? The rogue Iranian regime's persistent aggression, "monstrous anti-Semitism" and "fanatical quest" to become a nuclear power that threatens to send the already volatile region hurtling into an abyss of all-out war.

Taking to the podium during the opening segment of the 74th United Nations General Assembly, the American commander-in-chief said that the growing Iranian threat has resulted in "a growing recognition in the wider Middle East that the countries of the region share [a] common interest in battling extremism and unleashing economic opportunity. That is why it's so important to have full normalized relations between Israel and its neighbors."

. . . According to President Trump, the Islamic Republic has "escalated its violent and unprovoked aggression" in the year since the US withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal and imposed a series of crippling economic sanctions that holds Tehran's economy in a fierce chokehold. (Read more)

- Thank the Lord for the strong position taken by the US President and for his remarks concerning Iran's blatant anti-Semitic hatred of Israel. Pray that the nations of the Middle East and other Arab/Muslim nations around the world will heed his words and normalize relations with Israel.

- "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding."
(Daniel 2:20-21)

(Prayer offered by BFP.)

10. "Unprecedented" UN Report Confirms Shocking Levels of Rising Anti-Semitism - BFP

Tuesday, 24 September 2019 | The United Nations Human Rights Council's Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Ahmed Shaheed, released an interim report on Monday warning of rising levels of anti-Semitism worldwide.

The report, which the Israeli mission to the UN hailed as "unprecedented" coming from a world body known for its bias against the Jewish state, said anti-Semitism is prevalent on all sides of the political spectrum. To combat the scourge threatening to infect societies in which it is allowed to run rampant, the report calls on governments to initiate outreach and education programs.

. . . Shaheed pointed out that anti-Semitic violence, discrimination and expressions of hostility are escalating in many countries, resulting in "a climate of fear among a substantial number of Jews, impairing their right to manifest their religion" and a "serious obstacle to the enjoyment of the right to freedom of religion and belief."

The report also warned of the uptick in magnitude and scale of anti-Semitic incidents, underpinned by the "prevalence of anti-Semitic attitudes." (Read more)

- Praise God for this groundbreaking report and for the recommendations it makes to the governing bodies of the world. Pray that its warning will be heeded and the nations will take every step possible to stop the ongoing persecution of the Jewish people. Pray that education and awareness programs will in fact be initiated and will be effective in changing hearts and attitudes toward the Jewish people.

- Have mercy on me, O LORD! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death, that I may tell of all Your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation. (Psalm 9:13-14)

(Prayer offered by BFP.)

11. Rampant Election Fraud in Arab Villages Discovered Giving Netanyahu an Extra Seat - Breaking Israel News

Israel's Central Election Committee announced late on Tuesday night that it was amending the final election results following an investigation into electoral fraud, bumping the Likud Party from 31 to 32 seats and United Torah Judaism (UTJ) Party from eight to seven.

The change did not alter the division of Knesset seats between the left- and right-wing blocs. (Read more)

The Daily Brief

1. Trump signs measure to fund government through November and avoid shutdown - Washington Examiner

President Trump signed a stopgap measure on Friday that will secure funding of the federal government through Nov. 21. The legislation signed by the president will serve as a temporary replacement for an appropriations bill for the new fiscal year, something that has, so far, been an impossible feat for the Senate. An approved spending bill would require both Republicans and Democrats to come together, which has not yet happened in 2019.

Debates over funding for the border wall being constructed across southern states has stymied the ability of the upper chamber to find common ground and approve plans for government spending. This emergency spending measure, which was passed by the House last week and the Senate on Thursday, staved off the threat of a government shutdown, but both chambers much reconcile a solution by Nov. 21. "We have a long way to go in fulfilling our duty to fund the government, but I'm hopeful we can come together in a deliberate, bipartisan manner to complete our FY20 process for the good of the American people," Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee Richard Shelby said on Thursday. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we pray that we be a nation that is rich in understanding God's ways. Be with President Trump as he relies on the mercy and understanding given to him and all our leaders, to keep our nation strong and wise so that no shutdown is necessary. In Jesus' Name we pray.

- "Hear, Lord, the voice of President Trump, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be a help to him from his enemies."
(Deuteronomy 33:7)

2. Trump, allies ramp up attacks over Ukraine call furor as Dems hit gas on impeachment - Fox News

The White House and congressional Democrats moved into a state of total political war in the wake of this week's stunning document dumps, historic testimony and impeachment inquiry launch over President Trump's July phone call with the Ukrainian president. With the transcript of that call and the related whistleblower complaint now public -- and the acting director of national intelligence giving his account to a House committee Thursday -- the battle between these two branches of government is truly joined. And neither side is giving an inch.

Trump and his allies are now ramping up their attacks on Democrats, the media, the whistleblower and the various sources who fed information on the president that made its way into the complaint. House Democrats, meanwhile, are moving full speed ahead with the formal impeachment inquiry announced earlier this week, with reports indicating lawmakers plan to move quickly with their investigation -- raising the possibility of articles of impeachment before year's end. (Read more)

- Almighty God, never have we witnessed such intense hatred coming from Democratic members toward a reigning president, as we are currently witnessing. We pray God's mighty hand from heaven stretch out over the House Democrats and extinguish their hatred, deeds, lies, whistleblowers, false reports and darkest deeds. In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray.

- "Rejoice, O nations, with His people: for God will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to His adversaries, and will be merciful to His land, and to His people." (Deuteronomy 32:43)

3. US agriculture industry warns impeachment-related delay in USMCA passage puts off wins for farmers - Washington Examiner

House Democrats' impeachment inquiry against President Trump has evoked concerns passage of the administration's renegotiated North American Free Trade Agreement could stall, leaving agriculture groups warning that putting off ratification of the trade deal delays new wins for farmers.

The new trade deal, Sean Ellis, spokesman for the Idaho Farm Bureau Federation said, "brings NAFTA to the 21st Century, and we would hope both parties would see that."

Passing the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, a replacement for NAFTA, has been a top legislative priority of the Trump administration, and administration officials have for months been negotiating behind closed doors with House Democrats over changes to the trade deal. The White House has also dispatched top members of the administration to urge the Democrat-controlled House to act. (Read more)

- Almighty God, take control over the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry against President Trump. Bring holy judgment against every supporter of NAFTA, til it is defeated. And the House Democrats who met behind closed doors are walking on slippery surfaces into a perpetual threat of ruin. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Surely God did set them in slippery places: He cast them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors." (Psalm 73:18-19)

4. Judge Rebukes MI Dem For Targeting Religious Foster Care - Free Beacon

A federal court ruled that Michigan's Democratic attorney general demonstrated discriminatory "hostility" when she attempted to crack down on religious foster care agencies.

District Court judge Robert Jonker said Michigan attorney general Dana Nessel demonstrated "a hostility towards a religious viewpoint" throughout her campaign and in instituting a policy that would have shuttered religious adoption and foster care agencies if they refused to place children in the homes of same-sex couples. Her accusation that volunteers and staffers at foster care centers were "hate mongers" went to the "heart of the case," he said in his ruling.

The ruling was a major victory for foster families and St. Vincent Catholic Charities, which filed the suit challenging Nessel's policy. Melissa Buck, one of the plaintiffs in the case and a longtime foster mother, said she was pleased that she could continue to care for children in need of a home. (Read more)

- Father God, we support Judge Jonker's ruling in favor of religious tenderness toward foster families and their contribution to the stability of society in Michigan. Bless him. In the Name of Jesus.

- "But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherishes her children."
(1 Thessalonians 2:7)

5. Trump administration proposes cutting refugee limit to lowest level in program's history - Fox News

"The administration's proposed refugee admissions ceiling takes into account the ongoing security and humanitarian crisis on our southern border and the massive asylum backlog, which now includes nearly 1 million individuals," A State Department spokesperson explained.

"The United States anticipates receiving more than 368,000 new refugees and asylum claims in FY 2020. Of them, 18,000 would be refugees we propose to resettle under the new refugee ceiling; we also anticipate processing more than 350,000 individuals in new asylum cases," the spokesperson said.

The administration also proposed allocating numbers by groups of special humanitarian interest rather than region. Religious minorities will be prioritized with 5,000 spots, Iraqis who assisted the U.S. are allocated 4,000 spots and 1,500 spots will be reserved for migrants from the Northern Triangle of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we pray that President Trump be guided by the Holy Spirit regarding the final purposes for the refugees coming into America. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "There are many devices in a man's heart: nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand." (Proverbs 19:21)

6. Child Rape Suspects Released In New York & New Jersey After Local Jails Refuse To Hold Men For ICE - CBS New York

Federal immigration officials say two alleged child rapists are on the run after authorities in New York and New Jersey refused to hold the suspects in jail for ICE. According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Mexican nationals were each taken into custody for separate incidents in the Tri-State Area on charges they sexually assaulted a minor. Despite requests that the men be held in jail until officers from ICE could pick them up, local law enforcement in both states released the suspects back into the public.

ICE says the first man - Luciano Trejo-Dominguez - was arrested by Vineland, New Jersey police for allegedly restraining and sexually assaulting a child younger than 16 on Aug. 12. Over the next two days, ICE and Pacific Enforcement Response Center both filed detainers to have Trejo-Dominguez held at the Cumberland County Jail. Those requests were denied and the alleged rapist was released on Aug. 23.

The other man - Joaquin Rodriguez Quiroz - was arrested by police in New York's Westchester County on 3rd-degree rape charges on Sept. 6. Quiroz allegedly raped a minor under 17 years-old, which is a class-E felony in New York. ICE again lodged a detainer request with the Westchester County Jail on Sept. 7, but the Mexican national was released after posting bond. (Read more)

- Almighty God, You are aware of the whereabouts of these two rapists, and we pray that You will hold them confined so that the proper law enforcement officers can put them in jail and be held accountable of these charges made against them. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- 'Because your rage and tumult is come up into God's ears, therefore He will put His hook in your nose, and His bridle in Your lips, and He will turn you back by the way by which you came." (2 Kings 19:28)

7. Angel Moms to Congress: 'You Are Co-Conspirators' in the Deaths of Our Children - Breitbart

During a press conference in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Angel Moms Angie Morfin, Maureen Maloney, and Vicki Lyons demanded action from Congress to stop illegal immigration into the United States and thus save the lives of Americans and legal immigrants who may become the victims of illegal alien crime.

Lyon, who lost her daughter Nikki in 2001 when an illegal alien hit and killed her, said politicians who support illegal aliens and the sanctuary city policies that protect them from deportation are "co-conspirators" in deaths like her daughter's. "Congress you must act now," she continued. "Angel Families do not want anyone else to share in our tragedies."

Every year, about 2,000 Americans are killed by illegal aliens according to an analysis by Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL). Of the roughly 150,000 federal inmates in Bureau of Prisons custody, more than 40,000 are illegal aliens indicating that more than 25 percent of the federal prison population came to the U.S. illegally. Only about 10 percent of the incarcerated population is in federal custody with the remaining 90 percent in state and local custody. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we cry out to our loving Father to end illegal immigration from coming into America and creating a danger to our citizens. God, we pray that you will put a lock on illegal immigration and bar their entry into the U.S. In the Name of Jesus we trust and pray earnestly.

- "As the whirlwind passes, so is the wicked no more:" (Proverbs 10:25)

8. Congress Pushes Ahead with Hong Kong Bill, Angering China - Breitbart

A bipartisan coalition of Senators and Congressmen, led by both Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), have supported passing legislation to help defend human rights in Hong Kong in the face of the ongoing assault by China and its proxies in the government there.

The Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act will now head to a floor vote in both houses of Congress and, if passed, will reach President Donald Trump's desk. Trump has not indicated that he would veto the bill, and used his time at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday to encourage the Hong Kong democracy movement.

The bill would ensure that protesters and pro-democracy leaders will not face extra hurdles in receiving American visas because they participated in the protests. It would also require the State Department and other relevant federal agencies to monitor the status of human rights in Hong Kong and issue travel alerts or sanctions, if necessary, should the Chinese regime expand its repression. It allows for sanctions not only on Chinese enterprises, but individual Chinese officials if found to commit human rights crimes. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that the people in Hong Kong be protected from the ongoing assaults by China and its proxies in the government there. We pray that many will turn to the Lord and find salvation for their souls through the Blood of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "The mouth of the just brings forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out." (Proverbs 10:31)

9. Pompeo announces new Iran sanctions in UN speech, targeting Chinese entities - Fox Business

The U.S. will impose sanctions on some Chinese entities for knowingly transporting oil from Iran, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, the latest attempt from Washington to ratchet up pressure on Iran. "The more Iran lashes out, the greater our pressure will be," Pompeo said Wednesday morning, during a speech on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Trump administration ordered a fresh round of sanctions against Tehran last week, in response to an earlier attack on Saudi Arabia's oil production facilities. Those sanctions targeted Iran's central bank, which Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said was the nation's last source of funds. "This is very big," Mnuchin said at the time. "We've now cut off all source of funds to Iran." (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that all funds to Iran will be totally cut off. We ask that the Chinese will be stopped for knowingly transporting oil from Iran. There is no favor to the nations who go forward with this godless nation. We pray the new Iran sanctions targeting Chinese entities will be finalized now. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "You have broken down all his hedges; you have brought all his strongholds to ruin." (Psalm 89:40)

10. Abortion now legal in Australia's most-populous state, lawmakers overturn 119 year old ban - Christian Post

Lawmakers in New South Wales, Australia, voted Thursday to overturn a 119-year-old law criminalizing abortion, drawing criticism from pro-life advocates. The bill's passage means that abortion is now decriminalized everywhere in Australia, apart from the state of South Australia, where abortions are legal for some medical reasons.

After more than two weeks of debate, the New South Wales parliament voted to pass the Abortion Law Reform Act 2019. The bill decriminalizes abortion and makes terminations available to women up to 22 weeks into their pregnancy without having to prove their mental or physical health will be impacted if they continue the pregnancy, the BBC reports.

The bill overturned a 119-year-old law that made it a criminal offense to obtain or administer an abortion. Previously, abortions were only legal in Australia's most populous state if a doctor deemed there was "serious risk" to a woman's physical or mental health if she carried her baby to term. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray for the country of Australia that though there has been this major change, there will be very few who will kill their babies by using the new abortion law. Bestow grace upon this country and let the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit fall on Australia. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteouness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)

Prophetic implications of deep state-instigated impeachment

The whistleblower report is a well-written document that alleges many things from the President using his position to get a foreign country to help damage his political opponent to compromising national security to insinuating a White House coverup of the call. The "whistleblower," according to news stories, is a CIA officer, reporting on what he "heard" from unnamed sources who say they were privy to the phone call between President Trump and the president of Ukraine. If the transcript of the call is the actual transcript, the "whistleblower's" account is terribly compromised to its veracity. Does it ever occur to anyone that the recent accusations against the president were leveled by a deep-state operative?

Comparing the "whistleblower's" account of what he was told by his anonymous sources and the transcript of the call released by the White House, there are many discrepancies. The method of operation for this report is very similar to how the Steele Dossier originated and was used by the Obama Administration to get authorization from the secret FISA court to spy on Trump's transition team. These documents are carefully worded to allow many interpretations and cause great disruption. Just like with the deep-state version of Russian collusion that was invalidated by the Mueller investigation, it appears there remains a deep-state faction within the government that is actively devising schemes to remove Trump.
There is a book written by Michael V. Hayden, former director of the National Security Agency and the CIA, titled "The Assault on Intelligence." The book is very much like the whistleblower document in that it spreads half-truths, leaves out important details, and depends on second-and-third-hand information to advance the opinion that Trump is undercutting the intelligence community, and by doing so, undermining American democracy. The intelligence community seems to believe they, not the voters, are the keepers of the Republic. It discusses the "post-truth" world, and advocates for a one world order run by the United States. There are many pertinent points that deserve consideration in this book, but it is quite revealing on how the intelligence community views Trump as an enemy.
The pattern is troubling to say the least. It infers that there are unelected powers within the US government that believe they know better than the voters and will do anything they can to maintain the power they have amassed over the decades. That power includes a version of a one-world order, a globalist philosophy, that Trump has worked against. These powers align with Trump's opponents and seek to remove him and his ilk from any sort of leadership. We may be seeing an example of what could happen leading up to an end time Beast government that ushers in a Revelation 13:15 situation where all who "would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." As described in Daniel 11:21, the beast seizes his kingdom with intrigue and flatteries. In this type and shadow, the "beast" is akin to the deep-state.
Have a blessed and powerful day,

With a quarter of a million signatures collected on a petition calling for the SupremeCourt to overturn Roe v. Wade. Pro-Life Leaders will hold a rally outside the SupremeCourt and call on the Supreme Court of the United States to use the Louisiana andIndiana cases currently before the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and;Doe v.Bolton.

When: Tuesday, October 1 2019; 11:00am

Where: Steps of the Supreme Court of the United States

What: Pro-Life Leaders and Women Hurt By Abortion will host rally and call for the overturn of Roe v. Wade

Aptly named "The Moral Outcry," the petition stands on the premise that U.S. citizens do not accept abortion as the law of the land. Especially now that every state has passed safe-haven laws, the "unwanted child" argument of the pro-abortion lobby is no longer valid. Advocates of "The Moral Outcry" say the petition represents many who wish to see the innocent lives of children in the womb protected under the constitution. Pro-life leaders across the nation have added their voices to the growing movement calling on the Supreme Court to overturn
Roe v Wade.

"We are honored that 250,000 people have joined us in calling on the Supreme Court to overturn
Roe," said Allan Parker, President of the Justice Foundation, a pro-life nonprofit leading the charge.
"Every child, born or pre-born, has the inalienable right to life given by God," added Students For Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. Students for Life of America stands with the hundreds of thousands of signers who call on the Supreme Court to do the right thing and protect the lives of the pre-born. The Pro-Life Generation will not rest until abortion is abolished and made unthinkable." (Read the full text here.)
- Father God, we thank You that this day has finally arrived. We ask for divine protection for these demonstrators; for fair and accurate media coverage of this event; and for the mouths of protestors to be silenced. Come, Lord Jesus, come, we pray, amen.

- "The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous." (Proverbs 15:29)

On the Docket: Louisiana Abortion Case

U.S. Supreme Court adds Louisiana abortion case to October conference
for review

The battle over a Louisiana law that would require abortion providers to have admitting privileges at local hospitals could soon come to the national forefront as the U.S. Supreme Court weighs whether the law should be allowed to take effect.

The court has added the Louisiana case to its Oct. 1 conference agenda, ahead of the Oct. 7 start of its upcoming court session. The results of the justices' deliberation - whether the high court will take up the law for further review - could be revealed days or months later, at the Court's preference.

Abortion rights advocates challenging the law say the Supreme Court should reach a decision without hearing oral arguments because they believe the court already ruled on the matter when it struck down an identical Texas law three years ago.

The court could reach the same conclusion and nullify the Louisiana law, decide to hear oral arguments before ruling or effectively let the law take effect by declining to take up the case.

Conference sessions are held behind closed doors and typically guarded with great secrecy. (The Advocate) Read more.

Trump admin threatens Duke, UNC funding over alleged
pro-Islam, anti-Israel bias

The Trump administration is threatening to remove taxpayer funds from Duke University and University of North Carolina's jointly-run Middle East studies program, which the government says is misusing federal funds to advance anti-Israel biases and unfairly promote "positive aspects of Islam" while ignoring Christianity and Judaism.

The Department of Education sent an Aug. 29 letter to the Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies giving the program until Sept. 22 to revise the curriculum or lose future funding. The program, accused of failing to meet the program's stated goal to "support the development of foreign language and international expertise for the benefit of U.S. national security and economic stability," received $235,000 from the grant last year.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos launched the investigation in June after Rep. George Holding, R-N.C., complained that the Duke-UNC CMES hosted a taxpayer-funded conference with "severe anti-Israeli bias and anti-Semitic rhetoric." DeVos said she was "troubled" by the incident.

"There is a considerable emphasis placed on understanding the positive aspects of Islam, while there is an absolute absence of any similar focus on the positive aspects of Christianity, Judaism, or any other religion or belief system in the Middle East," the investigation stated.

The Department of Education pointed out academic papers associated with the program didn't seem to line up with its stated purpose, including "Performance, Gender-Bending and Subversion in the Early Modern Ottoman Intellectual History" and "Radical Love: Teaching from Islamic Mystical Tradition."

According to the data, only 960 of the 6,800 students in the program were actually enrolled in Middle East language classes.

Department officials instructed the Duke-UNC consortium, which was founded in 2005 and received the grant nearly a decade ago, to provide a "revised schedule of activities" for the next academic year and explain how each offering promotes foreign language learning and advances national security interest.

UNC-Chapel Hill says the consortium "deeply values its partnership with the Department of Education" and is "committed to working with the department to provide more information about its programs," in a statement. (Fox News) Read more.

- Father God, we praise You by this action now being taken by the Department of Education. We ask that the UNC-Chapel Hill take immediate action to revise its curriculum, thereby teaching the TRUTH about Islam and about Judaism and the Christian faith.
We also come against any backlash to target Ms. DeVos, and we pray for her protection. In Your Name, amen.

- "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."
(Zephaniah 3:17)

While Dems Obsessed over Whistleblower,
Senate Confirmed Justice Scalia's Son as Labor Secretary

While the whistleblower controversy and impeachment have been the talk of the town, other important things have also been going on this week, as evidenced by the Senate's 53-44 vote Thursday to confirm Eugene Scalia, the son of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, as secretary of labor.

The position opened up in July, after then-Labor Secretary Alex Acosta resigned over his handling of a plea deal given more than a decade ago to wealthy financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who has since died in an apparent suicide.

Trump has offered high praise for Eugene Scalia's accomplishments, believing him more than qualified to lead the Labor Department.

"Gene has led a life of great success in the legal and labor field and is highly respected not only as a lawyer, but as a lawyer with great experience . . . working with labor and everyone else. He will be a great member of an Administration that has done more in the first 2 ½ years than perhaps any Administration in history!" Trump tweeted in July. (Western Journal) Read more.

Classic Hymns

JESUS PAID IT ALL

"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow."
(Isaiah 1:18)

Lyrics

I hear the Savior say,
"Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all."

Refrain

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim,
I'll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb.

Refrain

And now complete in Him
My robe His righteousness,
Close sheltered 'neath His side,
I am divinely blest.

Refrain

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone
, Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone.

Refrain

When from my dying bed
My ransomed soul shall rise,
"Jesus died my soul to save,"
Shall rend the vaulted skies.

Refrain

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I'll lay my trophies down
All down at Jesus' feet.

Refrain

NASA mystery:

Strange magnetic pulses at midnight baffle scientists studying Mars

The Mars probe comes equipped with a sensitive magnetometer instrument to pick up variations in the planet's and the lander's magnetic field.

The instrument detected "long pulsation trains" lasting as long as two hours, with wave periods of just one minute.

The findings were presented in a paper at the European Planetary Science Congress and the American Astronomical Society meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.

The paper reads: "During nighttime conditions near midnight local time, long pulsation trains are occasionally detected in the magnetic field.

"These can last as long as two hours and have wave periods of longer than 1 minute.

"These waves are strongest in the north direction and weakest vertically."

The Amazing Way Jesus Reached Down and Rescued a Desperate Iranian Atheistic Woman Who Tried to Hang Herself after Years of Abuse

[GodReports.com] Her parents were in the army of the king-the Shah of Iran. After her father left the military, her life took a horrible turn.

"When my father retired he went into business with a man who became his partner," Bahar* says on the "Sheep Among Wolves" documentary. "He brought his friend to our house. When I was five years old the man raped me. He did this for many years and I was afraid to tell my father."

Bahar's mother found out and told her husband. "He started beating me from that day forward," Bahar recounts. "My father didn't stop his business with the man. In fact, he invited him more to our home. From that time on, I hated men. I hated men's faces; I hated men's bodies."

Because of the unjust beatings, Bahar's relationship with her father shattered. Instead of sheltering and protecting her from danger, he enabled the abuse to continue.

Despite Iran's Shia Muslim culture, Bahar's mother was an atheist and taught her daughter God does not exist. "She had trained me so well in atheism that I would prove my Quran teachers wrong at my Quran class," she notes.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
