8. Ivanka Trump to become official White House employee - Fox News

Ivanka Trump is joining her father's administration as an official employee. The first daughter announced Wednesday that she will serve as an unpaid employee in the White House.

"I have heard the concerns some have with my advising the President in my personal capacity while voluntarily complying with all ethics rules and I will instead serve as an unpaid employee in the White House Office, subject to all of the same rules as other federal employees," she said in a statement. "Throughout this process I have been working closely and in good faith with the White House Counsel and my personal counsel to address the unprecedented nature of my role." (Read more)

- Father God, we lift up Ivanka Trump as she moves into this new position in the West Wing. We thank You that she is making herself available to support her father in the tremendous task that lies before him. Please grant her Your wisdom in all she will say and do as she works inside the White House during her father's term(s) in office. In Your name, amen.

- "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." (Psalm 32:8)

Focus on Israel

1. Israeli Minister: The Bible - not Google - gives Israel moral right to land - Jerusalem Post

"Defense is important and security is important but the most important thing is the moral claim of Israel." Israel's moral claim to land comes from the Bible, not Google, Communications Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said in Washington on Tuesday at an event held in support of placing West Bank settlements within final borders of the Jewish state.

"Defense is important and security is important, but the most important thing is the moral claim of Israel. We are committed to go forward with living in our ancient land, land that was given us not by Google and Wikipedia, but by the Bible," he said.

The event Hanegbi spoke at was hosted by the Council of Jewish Communities of Judea and Samaria to mark the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Six Day War, titled "Celebrate 50 Years of Rejuvenation in Judea and Samaria." It was purposely held near the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's annual policy conference to attract those in attendance there. This was the first time the council held an event in Washington concurrent with the AIPAC conference to specifically target those attendees, as part of its growing focus on soliciting support abroad for the settlements, both in the United States and the European Union. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for this statement by Israel's Communications Minister Tzachi Hanegbi. This word is true and cannot be denied. Thank You, Lord, that the boundaries of the land of Israel have been described in Your Holy Word and cannot be denied. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "Your word is truth." (John 17:17)

2. Jordan's King: Two-state solution the only way - Israel National News

Jordan's King Abdullah on Wednesday said that peace would not be attained in the Middle East without the creation of a Palestinian state under a two-state solution that would be the basis of a comprehensive Arab-Israeli peace deal. Speaking at the start of the Arab Summit and quoted by Haaretz, the Jordanian king accused Israeli "settlements" of threatening to upend any opportunity for a peace deal based on the principle of two states for two peoples.

"Israel is continuing to expand settlements and wreck chances of peace . . . There is no peace or stability in the region without a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause through a two-state solution," the king said, according to the report. King Abdullah added that Jordan, in its historic role as the guardian of holy Muslim sites in Jerusalem, will not allow any harm to come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. (Read more)

3. Israel slashes dues to UN following anti-Israel votes - Fox News World

JERUSALEM - Israel has announced it's reducing its payments to U.N. institutions following recent "anti-Israel" votes.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said Wednesday's decision was taken following votes critical of Israel at the Human Rights Council. Nahshon says Israel is cutting "2 million dollars from its U.N. dues, given the anti-Israel votes at UNHRC. The money will be used for development projects in countries" that support Israel in international organizations.

He says the cut is from annual payment of about $11 million. (Read more)

4. Israel and Nicaragua renew ties after seven-year freeze - Times of Israel

Israel and Nicaragua have renewed official diplomatic relations after a seven-year freeze, the Foreign Ministry confirmed early Wednesday.

The Central American country severed diplomatic ties in 2010, in protest over the flotilla incident, during which violent pro-Palestinian activists and IDF troops clashed aboard the Gaza-bound Mavi Marmara ship. Ten Turkish activists were killed in the melee and several Israeli troops seriously hurt. (Read more)

5. Netanyahu meets with finance minister in effort to prevent elections - World Israel News

In an effort to prevent a looming downward spiral towards the possibility of new parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon met on Wednesday for the fourth time since a dispute arose over whether to disband the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA).

A serious effort at reaching a consensus was apparent, with the participation of other high-ranking officials close to both Netanyahu and Kahlon, including the prime minister's chief of staff, Yoav Horowitz; Tourism Minister Yariv Levin; Cabinet Secretary Tzachi Braverman; Finance Ministry Director-General Shai Babad; and the Communications Ministry's director-general, Shlomo Filber. The Daily Brief

Please note:
Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

1. With Vice President Pence breaking tie, Senate moves against Planned Parenthood - USA Today

Vice President Pence cast a tie-breaking Senate vote Thursday to advance legislation that would allow states to withhold federal funds from Planned Parenthood and other health care providers that perform abortions.

The Senate, after a procedural vote, will now proceed to a measure that would dismiss an Obama-era rule banning states from denying federal funds to such organizations.

Pence's vote was needed for the Senate to agree to bring the resolution to the floor. Republicans Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska broke with their party, voting against the measure.

The House in February had voted 230-188 largely along party lines to reject the rule under the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to overturn recently enacted regulations.

The rule prohibits states from withholding family-planning funding from providers for reasons other than their ability to offer family-planning services. It took effect Jan. 18, two days before President Obama left office. (Read more)

- Lord God Almighty, we offer You a chorus of PRAISE for this action, that will defend LIFE in our states. We thank You, too, that when we cried out to You on Tuesday this week for passage of this bill, You heard our cries from heaven and You have answered. Mighty God, again we praise You, in Your name, amen!

- "The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous." (Proverbs 15:29)

2. ALERT!! U.S. State Dept. employee charged in making contacts with Chinese agents - Reuters

A U.S. State Department employee with access to sensitive information was accused of failing to report contacts with Chinese foreign intelligence agents who provided her with gifts in exchange for diplomatic and economic information, federal prosecutors said on Wednesday.

Candace Claiborne, 60, was charged in a Washington federal court with obstruction of justice and making false statements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A complaint says Claiborne was given tens of thousands of dollars in gifts and wire transfers by Chinese agents beginning in 2011 in exchange for information about U.S. economic policy in relation to China and other diplomatic matters.

"When a public servant is suspected of potential misconduct or federal crimes that violate the public trust, we vigorously investigate such claims," said State Department spokesman Mark Toner. (Read more)

> > > To read the announcement of Claiborne's arrest, published by the Department of Justice, go here.

- Father God, we offer a chorus of praise today for this swift action taken by our new administration against a key employee who has held a strategic position at the State Department since the Clinton Administration in 1999. We ask for justice to be done, and for all related evidence to now be revealed in this matter. Thank You, Lord, amen.

- "For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light." (Mark 4:22)

3. Trump tells senators next try at health care deal will be 'easy one' - Washington Times

After a loss on health-care legislation that was anything but easy, President Trump told a bipartisan group of senators Tuesday night that his next effort to tackle Obamacare will be a cinch. "I know that we are all going to make a deal on health care," Mr. Trump said at a White House reception. "That's such an easy one. I have no doubt that that's going to happen very quickly. We have all been promising it - Democrat, Republican - to the public."

The administration lost its first major legislative fight last week when the House failed to agree on a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, with dozens of Republicans and all Democrats opposed to the measure. White House aides said Tuesday that staffers have had discussions about ideas for a new bill, but no strategy is in place.

At the party attended by some 55 senators and their spouses, the president also joked that the group was "shockingly bipartisan," and he suggested he wants to work more with Democrats. "I have some very special friends in the room," Mr. Trump said to applause. "We are going to be doing a great job. Hopefully, it will start being bipartisan because everybody really wants the same thing. We want greatness for this country that we love." (Read more)

- Father, we pray for a bipartisan approach to solving our nation's problems. Help our leadership build the relationships to make the necessary changes to our healthcare system.

- "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)

4. House panel's Russia probe effectively put on hold - Washington Post

The House Intelligence Committee's probe of alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, including potential ties between the Trump team and the Kremlin, is effectively on hold, after its chairman said the panel would not interview more witnesses until two intelligence chiefs return to Capitol Hill for a still-unscheduled private briefing.

Committee Chairman Devin Nunes's declaration Tuesday that "until [FBI Director James B.] Comey comes forward, it's hard for us to move forward with interviews and depositions" comes as an indefinite stop order on a roster of expected interviews and testimony, from top Trump campaign surrogates to top intelligence and law enforcement officials serving during the election and transition period.

Late last week, Nunes (R-Calif.) canceled an open hearing scheduled for Tuesday that would have featured testimony from former director of national intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., former CIA director John Brennan, and former acting attorney general Sally Yates. He did so, he said, "in order to make time available" for Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers to brief the panel on "additional information" that came up during an open hearing with the same spy chiefs last Monday.

But the closed-door meeting was never scheduled. (Read more)

- Father, FBI Director Comey seems to be the key to resolving all of these concerns. We pray he would be forthcoming with accurate information so that the committee may complete its investigation.

- "You can find out the truth of our accusations by examining him yourself."
(Acts 24:8)

5. White House: Trump will meet Sisi next week - Israel National News

The White House said in a statement on Tuesday that President Donald Trump would host Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi next week. "President Donald J. Trump looks forward to welcoming President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt for an official visit to Washington on April 3," said a statement from White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

According to the statement, Trump and Sisi "will use the visit to build on the positive momentum they have built for the United States-Egypt relationship." "They will discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, including how to defeat ISIS and pursue peace and stability in the region," it added.

Sisi had strained relations with the Obama administration. In 2013, shortly after Sisi and the Egyptian army ousted then-Islamist President Mohammed Morsi, Obama suspended American military aid to Egypt. He released the aid two years later.

After Trump's election, Sisi praised the new president and said he expected greater engagement in the Middle East from his administration. The two leaders, in a January 23 phone call just days after Trump's inauguration, discussed ways to boost the fight against terrorism. (Read more)

- Father, we lift up this important meeting to You and pray President Trump and President Al-Sisi will develop and implement strategies that will bring peace and stability to the Middle East, especially for the benefit of Israel.

- "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

6. Trump Signs Executive Order Unwinding Obama Climate Policies - NYT

With his order to move forward with the rollback, climate diplomats around the world maneuvered to fill the vacuum left by the exit of the globe's second-biggest climate polluter.

"There are countless countries ready to step up and deliver on their climate promises and take advantages of Mr. Trump's short-termism to reap the benefits of the transition to the low-carbon economy," said Laurence Tubiana, the chief French negotiator of the 2015 Paris agreement, the landmark accord that committed nearly every country to take action to reduce planet-warming emissions.

Mr. Trump has not yet decided whether to formally withdraw from the Paris agreement. But by rolling back the policies needed to meet American commitments, the United States essentially announced that it would not comply, whether the nation remains a signatory or not, experts said. (Read more)

- Father, we pray these policy changes are implemented quickly and any court challenges will be swiftly dismissed. - "Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me." (Psalm 35:1)

7. House votes to block Obama-era online privacy rule - Fox News

The House voted Tuesday to block online privacy regulations issued during the final months of the Obama administration, a first step toward allowing internet providers such as Comcast, AT&T and Verizon to sell the browsing habits of their customers. The Federal Communications Commission rule was designed to give consumers greater control over how internet service providers share information. But critics said the rule would have added costs, stifled innovation and picked winners and losers among Internet companies.

The House voted 215-205 to reject the rule, and sent the legislation to President Donald Trump for his signature. The vote is part of an extensive effort that Republicans have undertaken to void an array of regulations issued during the final months of Democratic President Barack Obama's tenure. (Read more)

- Father, we pray You would give President Trump wisdom about signing or vetoing this legislation. We also pray You would protect the people from harmful invasions of our privacy.

- "They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, hoping to take my life."
(Psalm 56:6)

8. Can Church-Affiliated Groups Get a Religious Exemption Too? Supreme Court Hears Arguments - Christian Post

Three lawsuits centered on whether church-affiliated hospitals can be exempted from federal law on retirement income have made their way to the United States Supreme Court.

The nation's highest court heard oral arguments Monday in the consolidated cases of Advocate Health Care Network v. Stapleton, Dignity Health v. Rollins, and Saint Peter's Healthcare System v. Kaplan. At issue is whether the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), which includes an exemption for churches, also allows church agencies like hospitals an exemption as well.

An article posted to SCOTUSblog on Tuesday argued that the Justices seemed unwilling to extend ERISA to include church-affiliated hospitals, given the apparent precedent of treating church-affiliated hospitals like churches. "In a similar vein, several of the justices seemed to find it inequitable to bring the affiliated-organization plans under ERISA given the widespread dissemination of the IRS's view that the plans were exempt," noted SCOTUSblog. "In the end, then, it seems quite likely that the affiliated organizations will retain their exemptions. The justices . . . do not seem likely to reject the IRS's reading of it." (Read more)

- Father, we pray You would remember those who honor Your Name, bringing them protection and justice. - "Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name." (Malachi 3:16)

9. Chaplain Alliance: Army Ordered an Attack on Biblical Beliefs - CBN News

An organization that provides chaplains for the military is speaking out against a directive from the outgoing Secretary of the Army which calls for the promotion of diversity and inclusion. Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty believes the directive is an attack on biblical beliefs regarding sexuality. Specifically, it requires the development of "a plan to expand training on implicit or unconscious bias."

Chaplain Alliance sent a letter to the acting Secretary of the Army protesting the directive. It was signed by the outgoing secretary hours before he left office as a member of the Obama administration. "The secretary does not define what this so-called unconscious bias is, but we believe this is a direct assault on those Army personnel who hold traditional Biblical beliefs concerning sexual ethics," the letter states.

The executive director of Chaplain Alliance, Dr. Ron Crews, spoke with CBN News about the directive.

"Secretary (Eric) Fanning was very proud of the fact that he was the first openly homosexual to serve as a Secretary of the Army and has been pushing a radical social agenda in the Army at the expense of training for war, which is what the Army is supposed to be about," Crews said. Crews told CBN News he hopes the acting Secretary of the Army will repeal the directive. "This is a waste of resources; it's a waste of dollars; it's a waste of training time for Army personnel," he said. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for the repeal of Army Directive 2017-06 to "promote diversity and inclusion" and for our military to refocus on defending our nation.

- [For those who are trapped in the homosexual lifestyle] "A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls." (Proverbs 25:28)

10. Bolton: Counter-Terror Cooperation With Russia 'Difficult if Not Impossible' Because of Russia's Partnership With Iran - CNSNews.com

The deepening ties between Russia and Iran makes U.S.-Russia counter-terror cooperation "difficult if not impossible," since Iran remains the world's foremost sponsor of terrorism, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton said Sunday. Speaking two days before Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to host Iranian President Hasan Rouhani in Moscow, Bolton told Fox News that the Russians "are cooperating more closely with Iran than before."

"This cooperation is broadening and deepening in many, many respects, and I think it is one reason why it will be difficult if not impossible for the United States to cooperate with Russia on counter-terrorism measures," he said. "Because Iran, as you know, is the central banker of international terrorism: It finances and arms Islamic terrorism whether they're Sunni or Shi'a, and really is at the heart of a terrorism network around the world." (Read more)

- Father, we pray You would give President Trump and Secretary Tillerson great wisdom as they improve the situation in the Middle East. Help them know how to influence and potentially work with Russia to solve regional problems.

- "The wise are cautious and avoid danger." (Proverbs 14:16a)

11. Article 50 triggered: Formal Brexit process begins - Sky News

The Prime Minister has triggered Article 50 after her letter to European Council President Donald Tusk was delivered by Ambassador Sir Tim Barrow in Brussels. Kicking off the two-year process of withdrawal from the European Union, Theresa May told MPs: "This is a historic moment from which there can be no turning back." The PM accepted it was "a day of celebration for some and disappointment for others". But she added: "Now is the time for us to come together, to be united across this House and across this country to ensure that we work for the best possible deal for the UK and the best possible future for us all."

She pledged to deliver "the democratic will of the British people" and to take the "unique opportunity" to "shape a brighter future" for the UK, adding: "I choose to believe in Britain and that our best days lie ahead." (Read more)

- Father God, we now recognize that this action, taken by the citizens of Britain, has been merely the first step in seeing nation after nation moving to take back the control of their governments by conservative voters at the polls. America has now followed suit, vowing to "make America great again" as the majority of our people have voted in alignment with the agenda of President Donald Trump. We ask that Your Hand of blessing would rest upon P.M. Theresa May as she leads her nation into this new season in its history. In Your Name, amen.

- "There is a time for all things . . ." (Eccl. 3:1)

The real Russian connection

There is one thing that unifies establishment Democrats and Republicans. It's socialist globalism. Yes, no matter if they disagree on abortion, sanctity of marriage, or the religious freedom of God in the public square, establishment members of both parties are unified when it comes to a global economy, global trade, global migration, global climate control (or at least the wealth redistribution that it entails). In a sense, there are many factions vying for world domination-Islam, communism, capitalism-to name a few. Then there are the human vassals of these systems, ever seeking dominance in the one world order. This may well be at the bottom of all the problems between the globalists and Russia and Donald Trump.

At one time in America's history, the progressives (communists) adored populists. Think about how the radical left embraced those they considered populists-Mao, Che Guevera, Castro, Malcolm X. Even the ex "president" went to Cuba to pay homage to his populist communist idol, Fidel Castro. These godless populists promote anarchy, rebellion, anti-establishment mentalities. Ignorant pawns adore them, many not even knowing what they stand for. But when the leftist populists become the establishment, governing the very institutions they dreamed of overthrowing, a new populism arises comprised of people fed up with the antics of rebellion, anarchy and communism. They want a return to common sense decency. This underscores why globalists, especially the Democrats, are so hung up on nailing Trump and Russia.

When the Soviet Union collapsed, its leader Boris Yeltsin essentially shifted communism into a form of corrupt capitalism. Russian opponent of communism, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, wrote, "As a result of the Yeltsin era, all the fundamental sectors of our political, economic, cultural and moral life have been looted or destroyed." Populist Vladimir Putin, albeit no boy scout, restrained the corrupt billionaires who were looting Russia and restored its international standing. He is a pragmatic "Russia first" kind of guy. Along came Trump, an "America first" kind of guy. Neither of them fit in the globalists' "international system." As Christopher Caldwell, Senior Editor of The Weekly Standard, writes, "because they (globalists) assume there can never be legitimate historic reasons why a politician would arise in opposition to it."

For differing reasons, both Putin and Trump represent a threat to the socialist globalist establishment. In my opinion, the many differing forms of the antichrist system have suffered a setback because of the populist movement, although the prophetic march toward the end times was at a double-step until this newfound populism took root. It may provide a breather for some pieces to fit into the prophetic puzzle, such as the settling of Islamic colonization in Europe and America that accelerated under the socialist globalists. The prophecies of the end time will play out on God's time. Russia and the US will play their role-one way or another. In the end, however, what the Lord God says in Ezekiel 38:23 shall be true-"...they shall know that I am the Lord."

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Farkas Fracas

Farkas Fracas

Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, is under increasing pressure to step down ever since he announced that new information corroborated the president's allegation that the Obama Administration had monitored the Trump transition team.

Anyone who wants to argue the facts should just review the tape. Watch this interview from March 2nd. Former Obama official Evelyn Farkas admits that the Obama Administration monitored Trump staff members.

She also admits that she was "urging my former colleagues" and "Hill people" to "get as much information as you can -- get as much intelligence as you can -- before President Obama leaves the administration." In other words, she admits that she encouraged people to expose classified information.

Farkas adds that her former colleagues were "trying to get information to the Hill" -- meaning left-wing politicians who want to impeach Trump -- and she says, "And that's why you have the leaking." In other words, the exposure of classified information by Obama loyalists within the government is their way of communicating with partisan hacks in Congress.

Yet Democrats and their media allies want to make Chairman Nunes the issue.

Kudos To Gen. Townsend

Kudos To Gen. Townsend

Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend, commander of coalition forces in Iraq, held a press conference yesterday regarding the controversial military campaign to liberate Mosul from Islamic State jihadists. He suffered through about 45 minutes of nonsense questions when he finally put the left-wing reporters in their place. Here's what he said:

"[It's] a little disappointing to me that all the questions were about our airstrikes, and our process, and our decisions. If these innocents were killed by the coalition, it was an unintentional accident of war, and ISIS is slaughtering Iraqis and Syrians on a daily basis.

"ISIS is cutting off heads. ISIS is shooting people, throwing people from buildings, burning them alive in cages and they are making the video record to prove it. This has got to stop. This evil has got to be stamped out. And in my mind . . . the moral responsibility for civilian deaths in Iraq and Syria belongs to ISIS. I'll close with that."

Statement by Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham is Sorely Disappointed in Both Republicans and Democrats:

"Pray God Would Soften Their Hardened Hearts and Give Them His Wisdom"

(Washington, DC)-[Charisma News] The Rev. Franklin Graham isn't happy with Republicans who failed to come up with a health care plan that could get the votes needed to pass out of the House of Representatives, and he let them know it Monday.

In fact, in a Facebook post, he put both political parties on notice, saying:

Doesn't it just make you sick? I'm so disappointed in the Republican Party-again-for not working together to get America the health care plan we need, as they had promised. And the Democrats' glee over what they're trumpeting as a failure is shameful. Their driving desire to block all things Republican branded, no matter what it means for the American people, is sickening. Can't they see we have huge issues looming over us as a nation? We need bipartisan problem solving. They need to lay their pride and greed aside, and work together to come up with solutions that will help our country. That's what we're paying them to do, and that's what we need to begin expecting them to do. They should tackle these issues as Americans, not as politicians. Pray for the leadership of both parties, that God would soften their hardened hearts and give them His wisdom.

- Father, we thank You for Franklin Graham's leadership on the issues of our day. We pray many would hear his voice and respond by actively involving themselves politically.

David Daleiden Arrested Again!

Pro-Life Investigator Charged AGAIN With Exposing Planned Parenthood Baby Sales Parts
"The public knows the real criminals are Planned Parenthood and their business partners . . . I look forward to showing the entire world what is on our yet-unreleased video tapes of Planned Parenthood's criminal baby body parts enterprise." - David Daleiden

The state of California charged pro-life investigators David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) with 15 crimes Tuesday.

CMP's undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood executives haggling over the prices of aborted baby body parts spurred a Congressional investigation and calls for the abortion company to be stripped of its federal tax dollars.

"These bogus charges from Planned Parenthood's political cronies are fake news," said Daleiden in a statement to LifeSiteNews. "They tried the same collusion with corrupt officials in Houston, TX and both the charges and the DA were thrown out."

"The public knows the real criminals are Planned Parenthood and their business partners like StemExpress and DV Biologics-currently being prosecuted in Orange County-who have harvested and sold aborted baby body parts for profit for years in direct violation of state and federal law. I look forward to showing the entire world what is on our yet-unreleased video tapes of Planned Parenthood's criminal baby body parts enterprise." (Read more here)

- Father, it saddens us that we have to bring this matter before You again, for David Daleiden has already been vindicated once in a court of law. We thank You that he will now be vindicated again, in Your Name and before Your High Court of Justice, amen.
- "Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood. But the Lord has been my defense, and my God the rock of my refuge." (Psalm 94:20-22)

"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret." (Ephesians 5:11-12)

Classic Hymns:
BE STILL, MY SOUL

"Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

Lyrics

Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to thy God to order and provide; In every change, He faithful will remain. Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake To guide the future, as He has the past. Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart, And all is darkened in the vale of tears, Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart, Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears. Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay From His own fullness all He takes away.

Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on When we shall be forever with the Lord. When disappointment, grief and fear are gone, Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored. Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.

Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise On earth, believing, to Thy Lord on high; Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways, So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye. Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.

Severe storm system threatens central US, trucker killed during high winds in Oklahoma

A storm system barreling eastwards is putting 17 million people in the central United States under the threat for bad weather, after a truck driver was killed in Oklahoma when his vehicle was pushed off an interstate in high winds.

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma, said an area stretching from Louisiana to central Missouri, including all of Arkansas, could see very large hail, strong tornadoes and powerful winds Wednesday. Earlier in the day, forecasters issued tornado warnings in Houston, though no substantial damage was reported.

Roofs and walls were ripped away early Wednesday from homes in Rockwall, northeast of Dallas, and the city's mayor, Jim Pruitt, told FOX 4 Dallas one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

"You can see with the damage that you have behind me here how substantial that is with someone waking up at 3:30 a.m. and that kind of thing only to have one person injured," Pruitt told FOX 4.

In Oklahoma, a truck driver was killed Tuesday night after strong winds pushed his rig off the interstate in El Reno, outside Oklahoma City, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The driver was partially ejected through the driver-side window and pinned for approximately one hour, FOX 25 reported. Forecasters confirmed a 95 mph wind gust in the area when the crash occurred. The Good News Corner

You Won't Believe How Much This Sweet 86-Year-Old Man Has Given to a Children's Home and Family Ministry and He's Raised it All Just By . . .

(Palmetto, GA)-[Faithwire] An elderly man's passion for helping others and recycling has made a huge difference in his local Georgia community.

Johnny Jennings is just like your typical 86-year-old in every way possible except for his dedication to recycling, a habit that most Americans find difficult to keep up.

Jennings first began collecting newspapers and paper goods in the mid-1980's when his son was young and he wanted to teach him the importance of having healthy financial habits in his life. So the two-some would go out at least once a week and collect and sell papers. And the profit that they earned together from their efforts would go into a special savings account for his only son Brent.

After years of collecting and saving, Brent, the son of Johnny Jennings stated that he had enough for a down payment for his first home when he was ready to purchase one.

The wonderful life lesson left a lasting impression on Brent and also encouraged his father to continue recycling whenever he could. So for the past 32 years, long after his son has been out of his home, the 86-year-old has continued to do so and donate every penny to a charity dear to his heart, the Georgia Baptist Children's Home and Family Ministries.
