The ruins of two large synagogues in Gush Katif, the evacuated Jewish communities of the Gaza Strip, have been transformed into a military base used by Palestinian groups to fire rockets at Israeli cities and train for attacks against the Jewish state, according to a senior terror leader in Gaza.

2 Russia agrees to work toward lifting PA aid sanctions - Jeusalem Post

While Russia told visiting Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal on Tuesday that it will try to convince the Quartet to lift the boycott of the Palestinian Authority government, Moscow will have its hands full as both the European Union and United Nations reaffirmed Tuesday that they were not interested in "playing ball" with the PA until it accepts the three international requirements.

3. Syria, Hizbullah will attack Israel if Iran is Hit! - Arutz Sheva

Israeli security officials said if any war breaks out involving Iran, they expect Syria, Hizbullah and terrorist groups in Judea, Samaria and Gaza to join the fray and attack Israel. This assumption is echoed by terrorist leaders from several groups.

According to Israeli and Palestinian news outlets, the IDF began withdrawing from the West Bank terror stronghold of Nablus last night following two days of arrests and searches aimed at the hardened terror infrastructure there. In the raids, Israeli forces busted four explosives laboratories and arrested 7 top terrorists.

5. Anti-Semitic attacks jump 50% in France - ICEJ News

CRIF, the representative council of Jewish institutions in France, reported yesterday that physical attacks on Jews rose almost 50 percent in 2006, propelled by anti-Semitic attacks following the brutal murder of a young Jew at the start of the year and by last summer's war in Lebanon.
