1. Russia's price to pay: Investor exodus not sanctions threatens country - Washington Times
Russia is paying a heavy price for its annexation of Crimea, with its financial markets crashing, economic growth falling, and foreign investors and citizens pulling money out of the country at a frenetic pace.
- Mighty God, Your power has come down upon Russia and its leaders to shut down the country because their deeds are evil. Be careful that your pride does not destroy you. For God is a God of righteousness and only goodness prevails. In the Name of Jesus.
-"Woe to you that is filthy and rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing country! You obeyed not the voice of God: you received not correction: you trusted not in the Lord: you drew not dear to God." (Zephaniah 3:1-2)
2. Pro-Israel Students Called 'Kike,' 'Dirty Jew' at University of Michigan - Washington Free Beacon
The University of Michigan would not explain how it is responding to death threats and racial epithets that were reportedly issued by pro-Palestinian activists at students who oppose a resolution to divest from Israel.
- Father, the State of Michigan is in desperate need of Your mighty hand to intervene and move upon the leaders and law enforcement agencies to not allow lawlessness without penalty for crimes to prevail in that state. In Jesus' Name.
- "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient and unruly, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is opposed to sound doctrine." (I Timothy 2:9-10)
3. Washington reportedly fears collapse of peace talks - Times of Israel
The Obama administration is very concerned that the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks could collapse soon, and is working to find a solution that would allow the talks to continue beyond the April deadline which marks the end of the agreed-upon nine month negotiating period, according to a Sunday report.
- Almighty God of Israel, we pray that the mind of the Palestinian Authority President be open and agreeable to the written Word of God, which says the Jewish people will never be extinct nor will the Land promised to them by God ever be taken from them. In the Name of Jesus the Christ and Savior.
-"This is the Land which you shall make fall by lot for an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these their parts, declares Adonai YAHWEH." (Ezekiel 48:29)
4. Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals - UK Telegraph
The remains of more than 15,000 babies were incinerated as 'clinical waste' by hospitals in Britain with some used in 'waste to energy' plants.
- My Father in heaven, look down from heaven and observe how the British hospitals are using the bodies of innocent little babies to heat their facilities and are calling them "waste" to use for "energy" in plants. We pray this evil be abolished. Thank You God for what You are going to do quickly. In Jesus' Name.
-"The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hastes greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness." (Zephaniah 1:14-15)
5. Aid proposed to stop Christian persecution in the Middle East, panel says - Washington Times
The United States can help Christians being persecuted in the Middle East by using foreign aid to modify behaviors in countries where persecution is rampant, educating U.S. diplomats about the issue in their assigned regions and asking for help from Arab-Americans, a panel of religious freedom researchers said Monday.
- Father in heaven, strengthen this cause to help the Christians who are persecuted. In Jesus Name.
-"Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have done His justice; seek righteousness; seek meekness. It may be you shall be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger." (Zephaniah 2:3)
6. Atheist 'Noah' director brags film is least biblical Bible movie ever - Washington Times
Note to Christians and those who believe the Bible: The producer of the movie "Noah," a self-professed atheist, says he is proud of the fact that he's taken a story inspired by God's word and turned it into something so secular.
- Mighty God, we pray that Christians be warned of these facts and forget about seeing this false, unbiblical movie which is directed by an Atheist who does not believe in God. Close this movie down, Lord. In Jesus' Name we pray.
- "Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath: but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy: for He shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the earth." (Zephaniah 1:18)
7. Obama to Kill Tomahawk, Hellfire Missile Programs - Washington Free Beacon
President Barack Obama is seeking to abolish two highly successful missile programs that experts say have helped the U.S. Navy maintain military superiority for the past several decades.
- Mighty God, we pray that the president will be hindered by the hand of God not to abolish these two highly successful missile programs that have helped the United States Navy maintain military superiority for decades. We lean on the Lord to fight this battle for our country. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood." (Proverbs 1:16)

The Absalom Complex
King David's third son, was Absalom. 2 Samuel 14:25 describes him: "But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head, there was no blemish in him." Absalom had his half brother Amnon killed because he raped Absalom's sister Tamar. Absalom fled and after three years he returned to Jerusalem. Absalom remained afar from David for two more years. Absalom had a daughter and three sons. The sons apparently died as Absalom built a memorial to himself. 2 Samuel 18:18, "Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar...for he said, I have no son to keep my name in remembrance..."
Absalom finally was able to receive forgiveness from David. But Absalom was full of himself. 2 Samuel 15:1 says, "And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses , and fifty men to run before him. And Absalom rose up early and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city are thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel." In essence, Absalom appointed himself judge over the people, usurping the power of David and endearing himself to the people by telling them what they wanted to hear. Then he led a rebellion against his father.
Absalom defiled his father's house, and was taken in with evil counsel to pursue and kill King David. The end of Absalom came in a great battle against David's forces. To this day, the name Absalom is associated with ego, pride, and usurpation. Fast forward to the present. The occupant of the Oval Office is to arrive in Brussels, Belgium as one leg of his current European tour. He will remain in the country for 24 hours at a cost of nearly $14 million to the city of Brussels--not including the millions of travel expenses picked up by American taxpayers. The mayor of Brussels says the cost is 20 times the cost of the four European Union summits it hosts each year.
The UK Guardian reports: "The president will arrive on Tuesday night with a 900-strong entourage, including 45 vehicles and three cargo planes. Advance security teams orchestrating every last detail have combed Brussels already, checking the sewers and the major hospitals, while American military helicopters were last week given the green light for overflights...Belgium itself is mobilizing 350 police and military on motorbikes to secure the president's routes to EU and NATO summits on Wednesday, while a convoy of nine US helicopters will take [him] to an American first world war cemetery." 2 Samuel 18:18 ends with, "...and he called the pillar after his own name: and it is called unto this day, Absalom's place."
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
