1. MORE ISIS BARBARISM: Militants reportedly burn alive 45 in Iraqi town - Fox News

BREAKING NEWS - ISIS militants, like those who burned alive a captured Jordanian pilot earlier this month, reportedly did the same to 45 people in the Iraqi town of al-Baghdadi - five miles from an air base housing 400 US Marines - the local police chief tells the BBC. (Read more)

- Father God, we cry out to You again at the news of another barbaric "multi attack" by ISIS. Holy God, how long will this go on, we ask? We cry out in repentance for our own sins, and for that of a church that seems unable or unwilling to speak up in loud protest against this Islamic engine of destruction. Father God, we ask that You grant us Your wisdom to know what to do, in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you." (2 Chronicles 20:12)

2. State Department spokeswoman floats jobs as answer to ISIS- Fox News

What the West really needs to take on the Islamic State is . . . a jobs program. That's what a top State Department spokeswoman suggested when asked in a TV interview Monday night about what the U.S.-led coalition is doing to stop the slaughter of civilians by Islamic State militants across the region.

"We're killing a lot of them, and we're going to keep killing more of them. . . But we cannot win this war by killing them," department spokeswoman Marie Harf said on MSNBC's "Hardball." "We need . . . to go after the root causes that lead people to join these groups, whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs, whether --"

At that point, Harf was interrupted by host Chris Matthews, who pointed out, "There's always going to be poor people. There's always going to be poor Muslims."

Harf continued to argue that the U.S. should work with other countries to "help improve their governance" and "help them build their economies so they can have job opportunities for these people." (Read more)

3. In Stunning Admission, Hezbollah Leader Reveals Forces Fighting ISIS in Iraq - Breaking Israel News

In a stunning admission, Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, publicly acknowledged for the first time that the Lebanese Shiite terror group has been fighting ISIS in Iraq, AFP reported. In a videotaped speech broadcast on Monday, Nasrallah called ISIS the most immediate threat to regional stability and called on all Arab nations to unite to fight the jihadist group.

"We may not have spoken about Iraq before, but we have a limited presence because of the sensitive phase that Iraq is going through," he said. "I say, come with us to Iraq, and to any place where we can fight this threat that is threatening our (Muslim) nation and our region."

Nasrallah slammed several Arab states for relying on the US to fight ISIS in Iraq. "He who relies on the Americans relies on an illusion," he stated. "You rely on someone who is stealing from you and conniving against you."

The Hezbollah leader urged Arab nations to cut off their support to the US-led coalition in combating ISIS and give their support instead to Hezbollah, who are backed by Syria and Iran. "We won't wait for the Americans, nor will we wait for NATO," he said. (Read more)

- Lord God, the world seems to have gone mad. In Your own creative way, it seems that You have reached down from heaven and called forth another tribe of Islam to fight the barbarians in ISIS. If true, Abba, we do thank You for this turn of events, but we ask for the souls of all who are on both sides of this conflict, that they not perish without knowing You, Elohim, as their Savior and their Lord. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "For with God nothing shall be impossible." (Luke 1:37)

4. Federal judge stalls Obama's executive action on immigration - MyWay News

A federal judge in South Texas on Monday temporarily blocked President Barack Obama's executive action on immigration, giving a coalition of 26 states time to pursue a lawsuit that aims to permanently stop the orders.

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen's decision comes after a hearing in Brownsville in January and puts on hold Obama's orders that could spare as many as five million people who are in the U.S. illegally from deportation. Hanen wrote in a memorandum accompanying his order that the lawsuit should go forward and that without a preliminary injunction the states will "suffer irreparable harm in this case."

"The genie would be impossible to put back into the bottle," he wrote, adding that he agreed with the plaintiffs' argument that legalizing the presence of millions of people is a "virtually irreversible" action.

The White House in a statement early Tuesday defended the executive orders issued in November as within the president's legal authority, saying that the U.S. Supreme Court and Congress have said federal officials can set priorities in enforcing immigration laws.

"The district court's decision wrongly prevents these lawful, commonsense policies from taking effect and the Department of Justice has indicated that it will appeal that decision," the statement said. An appeal would be heard by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. (Read more)

- Commentary by Breaking Christian News:

Federal Judge's Last-Minute Smackdown of White House Amnesty Hailed as a "Win for the Rule of Law" and Warning for Executive Overreach.

Father, we offer a great chorus of PRAISE at this news, and we ask for favor for the 26 states who are now working to appeal this executive action at the Supreme Court. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6)

5. Budget Stalemate: House sticks Senate Republicans with stalled DHS bill - Fox News

Congress is now in a full-fledged stalemate over a bill stuck in the Senate to fund the Department of Homeland Security and rollback President Obama's executive actions on immigration reform, now that House Republican leaders have declined to help. Top House Republicans stated their position after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell suggested they draft and pass a new bill, which they can send to the upper chamber and that Senate Democrats could accept.

"We did our work to make sure the Department of Homeland Security is fully funded while also defying the president's unconstitutional executive action on immigration," House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said Friday.

"The House has done its job," the Ohio Republican said. "And now it's up to the Senate to do their job." Boehner and other congressional Republicans are blaming Senate Democrats for filibustering attempts to even debate the bill in the upper chamber. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, we ask that You rise up and extend Your right hand over this budget process, causing the members of the Senate to be accountable to this process when they return from recess this week. The House has passed a bill which funds DHS while blocking the funding to the unconstitutional executive action on immigration. We ask You to confront the Senators to act and block this unconstitutional act as well, praying this in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate." (Proverbs 8:13 NKJV)

6. Labor secretary to help reach West Coast port deal - Reuters

Labor Secretary Tom Perez will travel to California to help broker an agreement between shipping companies and dockworkers in a dispute that has led to a partial shutdown of ports along the U.S. West Coast, the White House said on Saturday.

The move by the Obama administration came after shippers vowed to prevent the loading and unloading of freight through Monday from container ships at the 29 ports, barring a settlement in talks with the dockworkers' union.

The shipping companies said they were unwilling to pay union workers higher wages for weekend shifts and the Presidents Day holiday on Monday while productivity declines and cargo backups reach the point of near gridlock, after months of chronic congestion in freight traffic.

The impact of the dispute has rippled through the U.S. commercial supply chain, slowing deliveries of a wide range of goods, from agricultural produce to housewares and apparel. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, may Labor Secretary Tom Perez bring some workable resolutions to this long term dispute between shipping companies and dockworkers. As is reported, a backlog on delivery of goods is increasing due to this on-going dispute. Father, it appears that the unions are making demands that may not be feasible financially. Expose where the real issues are, Lord, we pray in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to so." (Proverbs 3:27 NKJV)

7. 'I Know Nothing!' Hispanic Caucus Member Didn't Know That Illegals Will Receive Tax Refunds - Daily Caller

Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez told The Daily Caller Friday that he didn't know that illegal immigrants are eligible for tax refunds - even if they haven't paid taxes. IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told members of Congress Wednesday that illegal immigrants who did not pay taxes will be able to claim back-refunds once they are issued social security numbers.

"I know nothing of the sort," Gutierrez snapped at a Daily Caller reporter when asked about Koskinen's testimony. "Of course it would be like you to raise that sort of question," the Democrat continued. "Why don't you ask the commissioner of the IRS?"

"Under the new program," Koskinen told members of the House oversight committee Wednesday, "if you get a Social Security number and you work, you'll be eligible to apply for the Earned Income Tax Credit." "You will get an amount depending on your situation," Koskinen added. "If you are an individual working and applying for the Earned Income Tax Credit, the maximum you can get is in the range of 500 to 600 dollars." (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, this 'loophole' where illegal immigrants can get 'refunds' for money they have never contributed is crazy. Help this nation, Father, and stop this kind of endless giving away money that is not there to be given and is not deserved. We seek Your plans and will for our nation, not just the schemes and plots of a few to keep 'redistributing the wealth' that is less and less there to redistribute. We ask this in the Name of Jesus, Amen and Amen.

- "Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause." (Psalm 25:3 NKJV)

8. Banks, Gov't Struggle to Contain Growing Cyber Threat - AmericanBanker.com

Obama's signing of an executive order helping the government and private sector to share more information about cyber threats. The order creates a new agency called the Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center that will provide analysis and facilitate information sharing between the private sector and the government. (Read more)

- Father, give wisdom and skill to this new agency in protecting us from cyber attacks. Help them implement a plan to outsmart the hackers. We thank You that the banks have already created their own internal information sharing system. We ask You to put the hackers out of business!

- "I wisdom dwell with prudence and find out knowledge of witty inventions." (Proverbs 8:12)

9. Jewish cemetery vandalized in eastern France amid tensions - AP

Hundreds of graves have been vandalized at a Jewish cemetery in eastern France, in what the president called an "odious and barbaric" anti-Semitic act against French values. The vandalism comes at a time of growing insecurity among French Jews and amid general religious tensions in Europe, after Islamic radicals attacked a kosher market and a satirical newspaper in Paris last month and similar attacks hit Denmark this weekend. (Read more)

- Since we know how much you love the Jewish people, Lord, it is so sad to hear this report of the desecration of Jewish graves. We pray for a pushing back of the darkness that more than seventy years ago engulfed Europe and permitted a horrible holocaust to happen. Lord, send a wave of support for Your people both from natural and from supernatural sources.

- "For this is what the Lord Almighty says: "After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you-for whoever touches you, touches the apple of my eye--" (Zechariah 2:8)

10. Pope Francis Will Address U.S. Congress - Breitbart

John Boehner Announces Pope Francis Will Address U.S. Congress Next September

House Speaker John Boehner has announced that Pope Francis will address the United States Congress. In a press release at Speaker.gov, Boehner said:

In a time of global upheaval, the Holy Father's message of compassion and human dignity has moved people of all faiths and backgrounds. His teachings, prayers, and very example bring us back to the blessings of simple things and our obligations to one another. We look forward to warmly welcoming Pope Francis to our Capitol and hearing his address on behalf of the American people.

Last March, Boehner announced that he had "extended a formal and open invitation" to Pope Francis, asking him to address Congress. "It is with reverence and admiration that I have invited Pope Francis, as head of state of the Holy See and the first Pope to hail from the Americas, to address a joint meeting of the United States Congress," Boehner said.

"Pope Francis has inspired millions of Americans with his pastoral manner and servant leadership, challenging all people to lead lives of mercy, forgiveness, solidarity, and humble service." Read more

- Heavenly Father, from further reports it is unclear if Pope Francis will accept this invitation or not. We ask for Your perfect will to be done in this matter, and we ask this prayer in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)

The Middle East in Focus

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10)

1. Netanyahu: If Iran nuclear deal is good, why hide it from Israel? -Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched thinly veiled criticism at the Obama administration Monday for reportedly withholding information from Israel regarding the ongoing US-led nuclear talks with Iran. He also left no doubt whatsoever that he will go ahead with his controversial speech to congress on March 3, saying that no responsible Israeli prime minister could "refuse an invitation to speak on a matter that could affect our very existence" before the world's most important parliament.

"Just as Iran knows what deal is being outlined in the negotiations, it's only natural that Israel also know the agreement being drafted," Netanyahu said in Hebrew at the start of an address to a visiting group from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. "But if there is anyone who thinks that this is a good agreement, why should it be hidden?"

2. Zionism means not being spectators to decisions that can seal our fate, Netanyahu says -Jerusalem Post

The meaning of Zionism is "not being spectators to the decisions that determine our fate," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Monday, defending his decision to address Congress in the face of presidential objections.

Speaking before a gathering of American Jewish leaders in Jerusalem, Netanyahu laid out his rationale for opposing the Obama administration, saying that no responsible Israeli leader could give up the opportunity to inveigh against what he called a "very bad deal" with Iran.

"The survival of Israel is not a partisan issue," he said, pushing back at critics who have accused him polarizing the American electorate when it comes to the Jewish state.

3. Former ISA Chief blames Netanyahu for security breach - Jerusalem Online

Former director of the Israeli Security Authority (Shin Bet/Shabak) Yuval Diskin on Monday made sharply critical remarks against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to publish a propaganda video on his Facebook page in which a well-known television design show presenter is given a detailed tour of Netanyahu's house in Jerusalem. Diskin called this decision a "major security breach", saying it allows terrorists to see the exact layout of the PM's home.

The video was published on Monday and features television personality and interior designer Moshik Glamin visiting Netanyahu's home on Balfour street in Jerusalem. He is briefly greeted by the PM himself, then gets a very detailed tour of the house by his wife Sarah Netanyahu. The purpose of the video seems to be to bring out the flaws of the house in order the change the public's somewhat negative view towards the Netanyahus' hedonistic lifestyle.

The new chief of staff was received with a full honor guard representing all military corps.

5. Bennett: Palestinians need to forget about statehood - Ynet

With the Israeli prime minister under fire internationally for his hard-line policies, a key partner of Benjamin Netanyahu is standing firmly behind him ahead of the March parliamentary elections - heralding what could be an even tougher stance toward the Palestinians if the two sit together in the next government.

Naftali Bennett, leader of the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party - a lynchpin of Israel's religious-nationalist right that takes an even tougher line toward the Palestinians than Netanyahu's Likud - told The Associated Press that the Palestinians should lower their expectations and forget about statehood.

6. Bombshell report details excessive spending by prime minister -Times of Israel

Israel's State Comptroller issued a scathing report on Tuesday substantiating complaints of financial improprieties on the part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his homes in Jerusalem and Caesarea.

The report sparked an immediate political firestorm, with opposition leaders saying it showed Netanyahu unfit to hold office - "thoroughly disconnected from the people," in the words of Yesh Atid's former health minister Yael German. Netanyahu loyalists, for their part, suggested the prime minister was the victim of a witch hunt, with Likud minister Yuval Steinitz suggesting the comptroller had been pressured into releasing the report in the run up to elections in order to harm Netanyahu.

7. Parties sink teeth into report on PM's huge expenses -Times of Israel

Several parties released special statements sharply critical of the prime minister's conduct following the publication of a special State Comptroller report on the management of the Prime Minister's Residence, which details exorbitant expenditure on the part of Netanyahu and his wife. The prime minister's advisers had already tried preempting the fallout from the report in the beginning of the week, releasing a clip earlier this week which starred Sara Netanyahu in the role of hostess showing what she called the dilapidated state of the building on Balfour Street in Jerusalem.

Terrorist fronts guests of "president" at White House

Back in the Clinton Administration, the Internet was a growing concern. Much of the information superhighway had many red light districts as the internet was a bonanza for the pornography industry. As one of the executives who helped commercialize the Internet with security technology and the author of the first book about making the Internet family friendly, I was invited to a conference on pornography and the internet hosted by then Attorney General Janet Reno. It was amazing to me how these liberals fought conservatives tooth and nail for the rights of the pornographers, yet hold a conference about the terrible impact of pornography on the internet. The same is happening today with the Islamic State.

On one hand, the president is saying that the IS is not representative of Islam. On the other hand, he is saying that he believes the people in the IS-attacked areas must stand for themselves. Out of one side of his mouth, he is saying that Christians are Crusaders, knowing full well out of the other side of his mouth, his words only embolden and encourage the atrocities and hate perpetrated by the IS. To me, this is all part of a propaganda effort to hold the majority of uninformed Americans at bay while he and his minions continue their treasonous plan to destroy America. Its called plausible deniability. Just like the Clintons with pornography, this White House is saying it is against something when it is for it.

Matthew Vadum of Front Page Magazine reports that the president is holding a conference Wednesday called the "Summit on Countering Violent Extremism." He says that members of the anti-terrorist community "are outraged" that officials of the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) will participate. Vadum says ISB is associated with the top Islamic State propagandist who the FBI suspects is responsible for producing the hostage-beheading videos. Vadum reports: Ahmad Abousamra, who is the chief propagandist for the Islamic State, regularly attended ISB's Cambridge mosque...His father was a vice president of the Muslim American Society of Boston. This will be the second known meeting of radical Muslims at the White House this month.

On February 5, the Muslim Brotherhood elite were hosted by the "president" ostensibly to discuss al Qaeda's growing presence in Iraq. The Free Beacon reported that the chief Muslim Brotherhood lobbyist Anas Altikriti was present. Also present were Imam Mohamed Magid, whose Virginia Mosque offices were raided by federal agents after 9/11 under suspicion of funding terrorists, and Ashar Azeez of the Islamic Society of North America, an unindicted co-conspirator in terrorist fundraising and a Muslim Brotherhood front group. Its all things Muslim at the White House whether the "president" says he is against terrorism or not. As Jesus says in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."

A Surprise at MSNBC

Shocker!

MSNBC Breaks With White House on Issue of ISIS

Call it what it is, says Ed Schultz and Chris Matthews - a religious war. Oh, and those 21 Egyptians who were beheaded in Libya were killed for being CHRISTIANS, not foreign laborers.

(Washington, DC) - It's been happening for a while, slowly but surely. Various mainstream news outlets are beginning to take exception to the current administration's word-choices and handling of foreign affairs. But, when an organization as far left as MSNBC breaks with the White House, you know there's trouble in paradise.

Case in point: Yesterday MSNBC correctly identified the 21 Egyptian men beheaded by Muslim terrorists as "Christians" - not just laborers, as the White House had called them.

Not only that, but according to a report in Breitbart, MSNBC's Ed Schultz stepped forward to call the spreading Middle East conflict a "religious war" something no one in President Obama's administration has yet to do.

Said Schultz: "It was a weekend of terror around the globe. In Libya, ISIS released a video showing more bloodshed. The video released on Sunday claims to show the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians. The brutal act of violence is clearly a gross display of what ISIS is capable of, what they're motivated about, and what they are really all about. And I think this act of mass murder amounts to a religious war. Now we all have our own interpretations at this point This continues to go on. At this point, these people were targeted, as I see it, and murdered because of their faith. . .

"As I see it, the U.S. is going to have to have continual reviewal [sic] of its strategy. We can't sit back here and watch hordes of people get their heads cut off. And why would we tell ISIS there's no way we would ever put ground troops in combat situations? I think it has reached a point where we really have to have a very strong debate in this country. As I see it, it's a religious war. What is going to turn back ISIS?"
Even Chris Matthews could "barely contain his disgust" and called for military action against ISIS, saying "America, our country, is being morally humiliated." (Breitbart) Read more here.

A Prayer for the President

A Prayer for the President

In light of the news we have received today, that the State Department has announced that the way to defeat ISIS is to initiate a "jobs program" to help their economy, we offer this prayer. [News reported on Fox News here.]

Lord God Almighty in Heaven, we appeal to You today for help in time of need. It is clear that this statement, although issued by the Department of State, actually comes from the Oval Office. And Lord God, it is equally clear that this statement borders on the insane.

Lord God, in ancient times we read of another "king," who himself exhibited behavior that was insane. Lord God, we read in Scripture that King Nebuchadnezzar spent seven years, grazing among the cattle in a state of insanity, but Lord God Jehovah, after those seven years were completed, You delivered this king. By Your Grace and Your Mercy, Nebuchadnezzar suddenly stood on two legs as a man, fully delivered into Your Hand, and naming You as the King of all kings.

Father God, we acknowledge Your Word as true. We see that it was seven years ago that Barack Hussein Obama became the Democratic candidate for the Office of the President of the United States and that, later that year, he won the election. His track record ever since that time speaks for itself.

Today, Lord, we repent before You for our sins as a nation, and we stand in the gap for the soul of Barack Hussein Obama. We ask that the same Spirit of Grace would rest upon him, delivering Mr. Obama from the jaws of the evil one to serve You and to worship You and You only, in Spirit and in Truth.

We offer this prayer in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

VERSES TO DECREE:

"I am the Lord that healeth thee." (Exodus 15:26)

"I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed." (Malachi 3:6)

Daniel 4: 30 - 34, 37

The king reflected and said, 'Is this not Babylon the great, which I myself have built as a royal residence by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?' 31 While the word was in the king's mouth, a voice came from heaven, saying, 'King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared: sovereignty has been removed from you, 32 and you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the beasts of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.' 33 Immediately the word concerning Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled; and he was driven away from mankind and began eating grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair had grown like eagles' feathers and his nails like birds' claws.

34 "But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever . . . 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride."

Upgrading Your Armor of God

Upgrading Your Armor of God

A Teaching by Dr. Yolanda McCune
Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network (HAPN)
Kingdom Culture Coordinator

In this year of the whirlwind, where debris, pressure and evil are all circulating with us, we need to upgrade our armor. That which was ok in the last season will not be enough in this season.

And the armor of a Roman soldier is not so much what this upgrade looks like. It is more of a supernatural, multi-dimensional armor. And it is the right fit, protection and covering we all need for this season of battle.

Below is a visionary experience that will help you grasp how God wants to form this new armor within you and upon you. Receive all He offers you!

A Special Treat

The Crying Bar Mitzvah Boy's Song

(4-Minute Moving Video)

What a moving video . . . to see bar mitzvah boy Natanel Dabush crying with gratitude for his life and for Hashem's closeness at difficult times. Several commentators on the YouTube video explain that Dabush has an incredible personal story: he grew up nearly blind, and after many failed attempts to restore his sight over the years, he finally regained his vision shortly before his bar mitzvah.

This boy has drawn a lot of attention-this video has received over half a million views. But when I'm watching him, I'm also thinking about the parents who are managing to raise a boy with such profound emuna and such a sensitive and good heart. Mazal tov!

Here is the English translation of this moving song this young man sang at his bar mitzvah:
Forgive me, Father, because I have sinned against you
Forgive all my crimes
On the days that I forgot You, you were always in my life
All of the paths that I took you were actually the candle for my feet lighting the way
I was blind and didn't see beyond what my eyes saw

The King, King of Kings, thank you for life
for happiness, tears, and laughter
Also when it's hard sometimes
At those times you are never far away

Also when I walked on paths of darkness
I trusted in You, my L-rd
For the second half, a boy and a girl
Thank you, also, for endless joy
Thank you for the holidays
For the Shabbat that guards
That will never end forever
Every day that passes on my path to Heaven
I have kept you in sight.

The King, King of Kings, thank you for life
for happiness, tears, and laughter
Also when it's hard sometimes
At those times you are never far away

Construction Begins in DC, on the World's Largest Museum
to Bring the Bible Alive

"When we think of the word 'museum,' sometimes you think of old and dusty. But what we will be doing is making this technologically advanced, where that it is very engaging and interactive."

Washington, DC)-[CBN News] Washington, DC is famous for its museums. Some are dedicated to art, some to history, and a couple to air and spacecraft. But soon the Bible will have its very own museum right in the heart of the nation's capital.

Construction of the world's largest Bible museum began this week with an act of destruction, as a huge construction claw began ripping away at a building in the way of the future 430,000-square-foot structure.

The seven-story, $400,000,000 museum will tell the impact, history and narrative of the holy book that Bible museum President Cary Summers called "the most read, most debated, most banned book in history."

CBN News recently spoke to Steve Green, the museum's founder.

"Our idea and our desire is to tell the Bible story in such an engaging way that people will want to spend hours in the museum," Green said.

Green's family not only runs the mega-business Hobby Lobby, but also owns one of the largest collections of Bible artifacts in the world. Most will find a home in the new museum, along with many hi-tech, innovative displays to bring God's Word to life.

"When we think of the word 'museum,' sometimes you think of old and dusty," Green said. "But what we will be doing is making this technologically advanced, where that it is very engaging and interactive, where that somebody could have a customized tour if they wanted to."

The museum is set to open in 2017, just a few hundred yards from the National Mall and the most famous Smithsonian attractions, like the popular National Air and Space Museum.
