As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama's practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues. Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple's wedding ceremony in 1992. Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: "There is no God except Allah." b. State officials walk fine line in explaining faulty accounts of Libya attack - Fox News
The House panel looking to get to the bottom of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was instead confronted Wednesday with officials walking a fine line, as they delivered the State Department's nuanced position on how the initial narrative of events -- resulting in the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans -- was so off-point.
Administration officials have already acknowledged that initial claims the attack was a spontaneous reaction to protests over an anti-Islam film were wrong, and that the strike was a coordinated act of terror.
But the explanation for why the incorrect narrative made its way to the public in the first place was proving difficult for lawmakers to follow, as they repeatedly pressed witnesses during a hearing Wednesday to explain what, by any objective measure, was a confusing account. Read more

3. Black Faith Leaders Plan $1M anti-Obama Effort Over Same-Sex Marriage - Newsmax
A group of African-American faith leaders plan to spend $1 million on an effort to strip President Barack Obama of 25 percent of the black vote that he garnered in 2008. The new nonprofit group, God Said, announced the campaign on Tuesday, saying it was upset with Obama's support of same-sex marriage, The Daily Caller reports. The president won 95 percent of the black vote in 2008.
"During the 2008 elections, 70 percent of African-Americans voted to ban same-sex marriage in California while they also voted for Barack Obama for president," Dr. Alveda King, niece of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., told The Daily Caller.
"The black community is among the most religious in America, and we are offended that President Obama has announced his support of same-sex marriage, that the NAACP has blindly supported the secular views of the Democratic Party, and that their national platform plainly supports same-sex marriage," Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani, a God Said founder, said in a statement published by The Daily Caller. "I am confident that this message will be well received and acted upon on Election Day." Read more.

4. DHS Now Pursuing Minitiarized Drone Technology for Domestic Surveillance - Wired.com
In an apparent reversal, the DHS is now soliciting bids for the testing of miniature drone technology for "first responder, law enforcement and border security scenarios."
DHS' second thoughts on drones may not be so surprising. In recent years, DHS has gotten interested in vastly expanding its surveillance capabilities, exploring cameras reminiscent of military ones that can spy on four square miles at once. And since it's generally cheaper to fly a small drone over a burning building, nuclear power plant or hostage situation than it is to hire and clear a manned plane or helicopter, it may only have been a matter of time before homeland security opened up to the domestic-drone boom. - Lord we pray that new technologies may be used by law abiding persons for law abiding purposes according to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We pray that any misuse of technologies against the very citizens whom the DHS is supposed to protect will be exposed and stopped, in Jesus name.

5. Iran Will Have Enough Weapons-Grade Uranium for Nuke Within Two to Four Months - AP
Iran could produce enough weapons-grade uranium to arm a nuclear bomb within two to four months but would still face serious "engineering challenges" - and much longer delays - before it succeeds in making the other components needed for a functioning warhead, a respected U.S. think tank (The Institute for Science and International Security) said Monday. . . For now, U.S. military and intelligence officials say they don't believe Iran's leadership has made the decision to build a bomb, while also warning that the country is moving closer to the ability to do so. - In Jesus' name, we bind the possibility of Iran completing any effective bomb - which they have already declared they would use on Israel and the West. We ask for leaders in the U.S. and the world who are watchful against Iran's agenda, and who stand defensively with Israel.

1. Massive US-Israel air defense drill set for October - Jerusalem Post
The US and Israel will commence the largest-ever joint air defense drill of its kind in Israel on October 21, an army source said on Tuesday.
2. Kuwaiti newspaper fingers Israeli finance minister as source of Iran leaks - Times of Israel
Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz leaked sensitive details about Israel's strategy for attacking Iran to cause a rift between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, the Kuwati al-Jarida newspaper reported on Tuesday.
3. Southern Israel on high alert as Gaza rocket fire resumes - Israel Hayom
Gaza terrorists fired another Qassam rocket toward Israel Tuesday morning, after having fired over 55 rockets and shells into Israel the previous day. The rocket exploded inside Palestinian territory near the border fence, causing no injuries or damage.
4. Netanyahu announces he'll hold elections 'as soon as possible' - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday evening that he will be bringing forward the next general elections to early 2013.

Anti-Islam movie was not reason for attack on US Embassy
There is no other way to put it: The White House lied to the American people that an anti-Islamic movie so angered Libyans that they stormed our Embassy in Benghazi, and killed the US Ambassador and some of his staff. It was a terrorist attack. On September 20, the occupant of the Oval Office said that "extremists" used an anti-Islam video as an excuse to attack the US consulate. Speaking at a candidate forum on the Spanish-language network Univision, he said: "What we do know is that the natural protests that arose because of the outrage over the video were used as an excuse by extremists to see if they can also directly harm U.S. interests." Now the State Department says there was no protest.
AP now reports that State Department officials confirm that, "All was quiet outside the US Consulate as evening fell on Benghazi...There was no indication of the harrowing events that night would bring: assailants storming the compound and setting its buildings aflame, American security agents taking fire across more than a mile of the city, the ambassador and three employees killed and others forced into a daring car escape against traffic." AP concludes: "The account answers some questions and leaves others unanswered. Chief among them is why for several days the Obama administration said the assault stemmed from a protest against an American-made Internet video ridiculing Islam..." No one is openly admitting it was al Qaeda.
Certainly, this is a touchy topic for the president. It was under his command that the US provided intelligence and air support to assist the Muslim Brotherhood-led rebels in overthrowing the Libyan government. Identified as part of the rebel coalition were longstanding leaders of al Qaeda. The Libyan rebel leader Abdel-Hakim al Hasidi admitted in an interview with the Italian newspaper II Sole 24 Ore that he had led al Qaeda terrorists against the US in Iraq. He also told the newspaper in March 2011 that his recruits in Libya were members of al Qaeda. The US supported this leader under another alias and US military brass danced around the al Qaeda question during Congressional hearings last year.
That the US president supported the same leadership in Libya under the banner of "democracy" that was trying to kill American troops in Iraq is grounds enough for impeachment. Yet, the news media and the politicians in Washington turn a blind eye to these documented facts. Now, it is obvious that the White House misled, if not outright lied to, the American people regarding the murder of our Ambassador in Libya. There is a lot of public relations spinning going on as if no one will recognize the lies. Romans 16:18 says, "For those who are such are not serving our Lord Yeshua The Messiah, but their own appetites, and by good words and fair speeches they deceive the hearts of the pure." Do not be deceived.

Sesame Street asks Obama to take down Big Bird ad
Sesame Street wants President Obama's campaign to take down its latest attack ad against Mitt Romney, which features Big Bird.
"Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns," a Tuesday statement on Sesameworkshop.org reads. "We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down." (The Hill) Read more.
Gallup:
Romney's Win Over Obama in Last Week's Debate Was Unprecedented
An Oct. 4-5 Gallup poll finds roughly two in three Americans reporting that they watched the Oct. 3 debate, similar to what Gallup measured for each of the three 2008 presidential debates. Those who viewed the debate overwhelmingly believe Romney did a better job than Obama, 72% to 20%. Republicans were nearly unanimous in judging Romney the winner. But even Democrats rated Romney as doing a better job than Obama, 49% to 39%.
These assessments are based on interviewing conducted Thursday and Friday after the Wednesday night debate, and may reflect the impact of news stories and media commentary - which mostly declared Romney as the debate winner - as well as personal reactions to the debates as they unfolded.
Romney Now Leads Obama by Four Points in National Polling
A new CNN poll conducted by the Pew Research Center finds Mitt Romney now enjoys a four percentage point lead among likely voters, topping pro-abortion President Barack Obama 49-45 percent.
The debate played a huge roll in providing the bounce for Romney in the Pew poll, where he trailed during the month of September.
"Mitt Romney no longer trails Barack Obama in the Pew Research Center's presidential election polling. By about three-to-one, voters say Romney did a better job than Obama in the Oct. 3 debate, and the Republican is now better regarded on most personal dimensions and on most issues than he was in September. Romney is seen as the candidate who has new ideas and is viewed as better able than Obama to improve the jobs situation and reduce the budget deficit," Pew reported. (Restoring Liberty) Read more.

House Republicans Demand Answers
House Republicans are turning up the heat on the Obama Administration for the intelligence failures that led to the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya. Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Wood is set to testify tomorrow before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
According to ABC News, Lt. Col. Wood was the commander of a 16-member special operations security detail that had been assigned to Ambassador Stevens. The embassy had requested that Wood's team remain in Libya due to the rapidly deteriorating security situation there. But Lt. Col. Wood said the reaction from the State Department was, "You've got to do with less."
The Daily Beast reports that on the day he was killed, Ambassador Stevens sent a cable to the State Department once again warning about the growing chaos in eastern Libya. By the way, Stevens' message "makes no mention of the anti-Muslim YouTube video or planned protests at the consulate, two key pillars of the Obama administration's initial narrative on the 9/11 attacks." Obama's Foreign Fundraising Scandal
Friday we told you about a brewing Obama fundraising scandal. Today we know more thanks to an eight-month investigative report by the Government Accountability Institute. According to the report, the website Obama.com is owned by Robert Roche, a top Obama bundler who heads a "Chinese infomercial company with ties to state-controlled banks."
Breitbart.com reports that Roche has visited the White House 19 times "despite the fact Mr. Roche's primary residence is in China." At a 2011 White House state dinner for Chinese President Hu Jintao, Roche was clearly a guest of honor seated "alongside Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Bill Clinton, Sen. John Kerry, former President Jimmy Carter, and Chinese President Hu Jintao."
Roche's Obama.com site redirects visitors to the official donation page of the Obama campaign. Once there, however, they are not required to enter the three-digit security number on the back of their credit card -- a key security feature meant to reduce fraud.
As the Washington Post noted four years ago, it is a deliberate choice by the Obama campaign not to require this additional security. As Peter Schweizer, head of the Government Accountability Institute, said, "Amazon.com uses more credit card security for online book purchases."
Moreover, according to Breitbart.com, "68 percent of all Internet traffic to Obama.com comes from foreign visitors." In addition, 43% of traffic to BarackObama.com, the campaign's main website, comes from foreign IP addresses.
As we reported Friday, the Obama campaign had a record fundraising haul last month -- more than $180 million. According to one analysis, there were more than 500,000 new donors -- people who had never given to Obama in 2008 or 2012 -- and "98% of contributions were under the reporting threshold."
During the 2010 elections, Barack Obama repeatedly, wrongly and without any evidence accused the Chamber of Commerce of using foreign money to influence U.S. elections. Every Republican should now call out Barack Obama for accepting foreign money to fund his reelection. There is far more evidence to suggest he is doing just that!

Graphic Middle School Sex Class Outrages Parents
Hundreds of Houston-area parents are outraged over a new sex education program that teaches 12-year-old children about oral, anal and vaginal sex - and uses graphic curriculum to instruct students on how to use condoms.
The new curriculum is called, "It's Your Game, Keep It Real," - a program that includes real-life scenarios about condoms. School officials did not return calls for comment - but they told parents that the program was selected because it has a proven record. School officials told local reporters that parents were given the choice of opting their children out of the sex education class. However, a copy of the permission slip sent to parents does not give them that choice.
Several parents told Fox News that the information booklets provided by the school district did not indicate the graphic nature of the classroom instruction nor did it mention the level of detail. One parent said the videos include cursing and slang. The actors are dressed provocatively. "It has heavy petting and making out - and this is the seventh grade curriculum," she said. Some of the video was so graphic that a Houston television station was unable to air footage from the curriculum. (Fox News) Read more.

We pray that it will be removed from the public school curriculum permanently - And that those who affirmed its use will be removed from their positions of leadership over our children. Sheriff's Chaplains Organize Prayer Vigils
The 40 days of prayer were instigated as a result of gun crime resulting in this summer's shooting of a young girl who remains in a coma.
(Orlando, FL)-Jerry Demings, sheriff of Orange County, hopes that 40 days of prayer instigated by scores of churches in Orlando will stem the regions gun violence.
The program Demings calls "Operation Transformation" is in response to this summer's shooting of 15-year-old Danielle Sampson who is still in a coma from her injuries.
According to an Orlando Sentinel report, the prayer vigils, organized by chaplains from the sheriff's office, will be held through November 9. (Read more)
