The Daily Brief:
"Praying for All in Authority"

"The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His sovereignty rules over all." (Psalm 103:19)

Please note:

The Daily Brief will not be published tomorrow.

" . . . His sovereignty rules over all." (Psalm 103:19b)

Focus on the Iranian Deal

Focus on the Iranian Deal

1. Israel Fears 'Major Escalation' by Iran-backed Terror Groups After Deal - The Times of Israel

Although he did not detail the specific threats for Israel that could be impacted, or list specific accommodations that Israel sought to counter the threats, Dore God warned that "the moment that the funds become available from frozen accounts...that's when the Middle East goes south and things become extremely dangerous in the region."

Saying that the release of $150 billion of frozen funds would free Iran from having to choose which terror activities to support, God said Iranian troops and their proxies in the region "will have an ability to be everywhere simultaneously." (Read more)

- Father, we can understand Israel's fears concerning this "deal" with Iran that the world is pushing, which will give billions of dollars into their enemies hands, as they shout "death to Israel". We thank You, Lord of Hosts, that Your military might, and Your military wisdom and strategies are far greater than that of Israel's enemies. We thank You that You are Jehovah, the Covenant-Keeping God, and You have promised that Israel will never be destroyed. Rise up, O Lord, and contend with those who contend with her, we pray. Show Yourself strong on her behalf! Bless PM Netanyahu with the wisdom of Solomon as he plans and carries out Your strategies against those who would wish them harm. We thank You for Your faithfulness to all generations! In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

"Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly." (Psalm 68:1-3)

2. Israel Envoy to US lobbies Congress Against Iran Deal - The Times of Israel

Israel's ambassador to the United States implored congressional Republicans on Wednesday to scuttle President Barack Obama's nuclear deal with Iran and Western powers as the White House dispatched senior administration officials to Capitol Hill to make the case for the accord.

The intense lobbying on both sides of the issue reflected the importance of the pact for Obama, seeking a foreign policy capstone in the final months of his presidency, and the fierce opposition from Israel to the accord with Tehran. Congress this fall will cast the most significant national security vote since 2002, when it backed President George W. Bush on invading Iraq.

Rep. Dave Brat, R-Va., said Ambassador Ron Dermer's main argument during a nearly hour-long meeting with 30-40 House Republicans was "pay less attention to all the details" like centrifuges and years, and "pay more attention to who's on the other side of the ethical debate, and that is Iran." (Read more)

- Lord, we thank You for Ambassador Dermer's challenge to House Republicans concerning Iran's lack of integrity, untrustworthiness, and showing what a poor partner they would be in any kind of pact. Give Your wisdom to all our members of Congress, as to how to protect Israel and our nation from the deceit of our enemies. Open the eyes of all our members of Congress to the real agenda of Iran, and how to deal with them. Our Hope is in You alone, and You alone, are our Commander-in-Chief, and our Commander in battle! In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

- "As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began, That we should be saved from our enemies And from the hand of all who hate us, To perform the mercy promised to our fathers And to remember His holy covenant." (Luke 1:70-72)

3. Iran Vows to Buy Weapons Anytime, Anywhere - The Washington Free Beacon

A senior Iranian official . . . said that the Islamic Republic will continue to import and export arms freely across the globe without restriction . . . Abbas Araghchi, Iran's deputy foreign minister, said that he insisted during the negotiations that Iran be able to purchase and ship military hardware at any time and from any where. . . (Read more)

- Abba, does this sound like a "spoiled defiant brat", or is it just me? This kind of talk smacks of disrespect and defiance. These Muslim countries in the Middle East make us look like fools, firstly because we "negotiate" with them, and secondly, because they "mock" us for all the concessions our weak leaders give them. We certainly are not negotiating in "good faith" with a nation that respects us as being able to back up our words with any kind of military action. They know our leaders want "peace at any price". Peace, peace, but there is no peace! You are our Prince of Peace, and our Hope and confidence are in You alone, and Your Word. Fight for us, O Lord. Amen.

- "Do not take me away with the wicked and with the workers of iniquity, Who speak peace to their neighbors, But evil is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them what they deserve." (Psalm 28:3,4)

4. 'You've been fleeced': Congress grills Kerry, Obama officials on Iran nuke deal - Fox News

Secretary of State John Kerry found himself on the defensive Thursday at a Senate hearing where he was hard-pressed to find support for the Iran nuclear deal from either side of the aisle -- and sharply sparred with Republicans who accused him of being "fleeced" and "bamboozled."

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing was the first on the controversial deal to lift economic and other sanctions in exchange for concessions of the Islamic state's nuclear program. With Congress taking up the deal and expected to vote on it sometime in September, the hearing underscored the deep resistance the Obama administration faces from both parties.

"From my perspective, Mr. Secretary, I'm sorry ... I believe you've been fleeced," Committee Chairman Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told Kerry, claiming the agreement paves the path for Iran to eventually develop a nuclear bomb.

Critics repeatedly suggested the Obama administration's negotiating team gave in to pressure from the Iranians on key points. They question whether sanctions indeed can be reinstated once they're lifted; whether Iran might be able to stall international inspectors; and whether Iran might be closer to a weapon once the deal expires. (Read more)

- Lord God, we praise You that members of this Senate Committee, on both sides of the aisle, are now confronting John Kerry and stating clearly that this agreement IS a disaster. Lord God, we ask that You would move on the hearts of members of both the Senate and the House, so that this movement in total opposition to this deal will not only gain traction in the coming weeks, but would see the momentum build as more and moire members have the opportunity to examine this 159-page deal with a "fine tooth comb."

Lord God, we are aware that Congress will go out of town in August for its summer district work period. By the grace of God and by a move of miraculous divine intervention, we do ask that the "coalition of opposition" to this agreement would stand STRONG and that, in the end, there would be enough votes secured in both chambers to override the expected veto of their veto! We ask this prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- (For Congress, opposing the Iranian deal) "He who began a good work in you will continue it until the day of Christ Jesus." (Phil. 1:6)

5. McConnell, Boehner want Obama to hand over Iran 'side' deals - The Hill

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) want the administration to hand over two "side" deals between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The two leaders joined Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kansas) in a letter to Obama on Wednesday asking for the administration to hand over the agreements "immediately."

"The purpose of the Iran Nuclear Agreement review Act is to ensure Congress has a fully informed understanding of the JCPOA," the letter states, referring tothe Iran deal. "Failure to produce these two side agreements leaves Congress blind on critical information regarding Iran's potential path to being a nuclear power and will have detrimental consequences for the ability of members to assess the JCPOA." (Read more)

- Lord God, this report is another HALLELUJAH for answered prayer! It is absolutely critical that a nation whose "mantra" is now "death to America" and who has been given permission by the international community to arm itself with nuclear weapons to be stopped in its tracks by a close examination of the details of this deal. Let the hidden things now come to light, we ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light." (Mark 4:22)

6. Report: China to Build Two More Nuclear Plants in Iran Following Landmark Deal - The Algemeiner

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Ali Akbar Salehi, announced on Wednesday that China will likely construct two new nuclear power plants in the country, Iran's semi-official state news agency Fars reported. "We are in talks with the Chinese over the construction of two 100-MW power plants," Salehi said, addressing AEOI staff in Tehran.

Salehi also referred to another contract signed with Russia to build two additional nuclear power plants, noting that, "God willing, the construction work will start this year." Salehi expressed hope that the four nuclear power plants would start operations within the next 3 to 4 years. (Read more)

- O Lord, forgive us! The arms race has just been "jump started" once again, and the peoples of the world are now in grave danger. Lord God Almighty in heaven, we appeal to You and to You, only, to put a stop to this "engine of destruction," so that if there be any way possible for this deal to be canceled outright, then You would do this. Father God, we ask for Your help, because to ask help from man is now futile. We ask this prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "O give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain." (Psalm 60:11)

7. New York:10,000 demonstrators urge Congress . . . to vote against nuclear agreement - Times of Israel

An estimated 10,000 people converged on Times Square, from 42nd Street all the way to 40th Street. People came in buses and caravans from Charlotte, North Carolina, from Chicago, Columbus and Philadelphia. In addition to Times Square, there were also similar demonstrations in Ft. Lauderdale, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Toronto, Canada.

Jeffrey Wiesenfeld, a financial expert who has also held senior positions in government, organized the rally to alert Americans to the dangers of the nuclear agreement recently reached between Iran and the so-called P5+1 group of world powers, he said.

"We came to the conclusion that we must educate the public, in the most strident language, that this is a farce, this is a threat - not just to Israel but for America and for the world. A failure to 'Stop Iran Now' could necessitate a military response later," Wiesenfeld told The Times of Israel. (Read more)

- Father God, we praise You for this magnificent outpouring of our citizens on the streets of New York City, all protesting with ONE VOICE the signing of this deal with Iran. Hallelujah, Lord! They eyes of our people are NOT blind; and we are ready to take action, as needed, so that the United States will NOT accept this agreement. Thank You, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.

- "Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power . . ." (Psalm 110:3)

2. Criminal probe announced against staff at Prime Minister's Residence - Israel Hayom

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein on Monday announced a criminal investigation into alleged misconduct by staff at the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem. The decision was based on recommendations made by State Attorney Shai Nitzan and the head of the Israel Police Investigation and Intelligence Branch, Meni Yitzhaki.

The investigation will likely focus on State Comptroller Yosef Shapira's report on the Prime Minister's Residence. Shapira said there was enough evidence to suggest that staff at the residence, which falls under the administrative purview of the Prime Minister's Office, had mismanaged funds and inflated expenses. The former caretaker at the residence, Meni Naftali, made similar allegations when he was questioned by the Israel Police. Avi Fahima, an electrician who worked for the Netanyahus at their private home in Caesarea, will most likely be questioned as well. Prime Minister's Office Deputy Director General Ezra Saidoff, who has been accused by Naftali of being directly involved in the alleged misconduct, might be suspended during the investigation. The Civil Service Commission, which handles disciplinary issues related to government employees, is expected to deliberate on the matter. (Read more)

3. UK Labour Member: We Shouldn't Have Recognized 'Palestine' - Israel National News

A candidate for the leadership of the British Labour party on Tuesday said the party should not have voted in favor of the motion to recognize the Palestinian state, The Independent reports.

The candidate, Liz Kendall, argued that recognizing Palestine was not the "right thing to do" and argued that a "responsible opposition" would not have done it.

"The question asked about hostility [between Labour and the Jewish community] and I think that really did come to a crunch in the vote on the House of Commons on recognizing the Palestinian state," she was quoted by The Independent as having said during an event hosted by the Jewish Chronicle newspaper. 4. State report calls for sharp military budget cuts, angering IDF brass - Times of Israel

A government report calling for deep cuts in the army's spending plan, a sharp reduction in the duration of compulsory service and a fixed five-year budget for the IDF to plan for future conflicts was made public Tuesday, igniting an angry volley of criticism from military brass.

The Locker Report, commissioned by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2014, also proposes cuts to the Defense Ministry's famously generous pension plans and reducing the term of service for non-combat soldiers from three years to two by 2020. (Read more)

5. Israel's Year-Round Growing Seasons Leading Edge on Competitors - Algemeiner

Israel's year-round growing season has pushed it past competitors in some of the U.K.'s biggest food markets, the British Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.

Gordon Bickel, the head of Israel's largest agricultural produce exporter Carmel Agrexco, said Israelis' ease with European languages (many emigrated from European countries to the Jewish state), the high quality of its fruits and vegetables, and the good weather have given it an edge over many British and Spanish competitors in huge grocery chains like Tesco. 6. French prosecutor closes case on suspected Arafat poisoning - Times of Israel

A French prosecutor on Tuesday said there was no need to pursue an inquiry regarding the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, whose widow alleges he was poisoned.

"The prosecution gave the opinion that the case should be dismissed," the prosecutor's office told AFP.

Arafat died in Percy military hospital near Paris at the age of 75 in November 2004 after developing stomach pains while at his headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah. (Read more)

7. Wanted Egyptian Terrorist Calls for 'Holy War' Against Sisi - Israel National News

One of Egypt's most wanted men, a former special forces officer turned Islamist terrorist commander, condemned President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Wednesday and called for a holy war against his government, Reuters reported.

An audio message attributed to Hisham al-Ashmawy, who security officials suspect masterminded the recent car bomb assassination of Egypt's top prosecutor, said the country is "overpowered by the new pharaoh" Sisi.

Ashmawy is part of a small but highly dangerous succession of former Egyptian army officers who have joined jihadist groups, complicating Sisi's efforts to confront what he calls an existential threat from extremism. (Read more)

1. House OKs bill to crack down on 'sanctuary cities,' White House threatens veto - Fox News

The House approved legislation Thursday to punish so-called "sanctuary cities" for failing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, in the first congressional response to a brazen murder earlier this month in San Francisco allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., would penalize jurisdictions that bar the collection of immigration information or don't cooperate with federal "detainer" requests, by blocking them from receiving certain federal law enforcement grants and funding.

It passed 241-179. The Senate is considering similar legislation. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for this good news tonight, and we ask that the Senate would follow suit in passing this bill. We call forth a veto-proof majority in both Chambers of Congress, and we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:14)

2. Democrats Slam Sanctuary City Legislation, Labeling it 'The Donald Trump Act' - The Hill

House Democratic leaders are slamming GOP legislation aimed at discouraging sanctuary cities, characterizing the proposal as "The Donald Trump Act" in a bid to embarrass the Republicans bringing the measure to the floor this week.

The proposal, which would withhold federal law enforcement funds for state or local governments that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration agents, comes in response to this month's fatal shooting of Kathryn Steinle along the San Francisco waterfront, allegedly by an illegal immigrant with a long criminal history. (Read more)

- Lord, how ignorantly are the Democrats behaving? We are appalled that Congress would pass laws, and then not enforce them! Lord, You say in Your Word that we should obey the law. Has it now become optional? You have taught us about seed time and harvest, and we pray that these Democrats would be made aware of the "bad seed" of lawlessness they are planting now, and that they would stop, and become keepers and doers of the law. The laws are there to protect us. Lord, open their blind eyes, we pray. Amen.

- "Everyone is to obey the governing authorities. For there is no authority that is not from God, and the existing authorities have been placed where they are by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authorities is resisting what God has instituted; and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are no terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you like to be unafraid of the person in authority? Then simply do what is good, and you will win his approval." (Romans 13:1-3)

3. Obama Admin Plans More Executive Action on Immigration - Washington Free Beacon

The Obama administration is moving forward with plans to expand a waiver program that will allow additional illegal aliens to remain in the country . . . the proposed rule stated. "Such aliens include family-sponsored immigrants, employment-based immigrants, certain special immigrants, and Diversity Visa program selectees, together with their derivative spouses and children." (Read more)

- O Lord, we do not wish to be governed by a self-appointed king, and we therefore ask that Congress find a way to strip Obama of his "executive actions" that force policies down our throats, without any representation or recourse. This is supposed to be a government "of the people, for the people, and by the people" according to our Constitution. This president seems to have his own pet projects that he wants to implement "with the pen and the phone", as he says. The arrogance is overwhelming, and he is certainly not giving any thought to the legal citizenry of this nation. Lord, have mercy on us all. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

- "Without leadership a nation falls, but lots of good advice will save it." (Proverbs 11:14)

4. Report: 3 Million More Children in Poverty Under Obama - Newsmax

The poverty rate for children in America has risen to 22 percent under the Obama presidency - a total of 3 million more, according to the 2015 "Kids Count" report from the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The number of children in poverty was 18 percent in 2008, the year Obama was elected, and had risen to 22 percent by 2013. The rate did decline from 2012 to 2013 as the economy improved. (Read more)

- Abba, we cry out to You for the children! Not only have they seen an increase in poverty during this administration, but also, abortion has also eliminated a great deal of the unborn. So much evil and pain out there, and it seems to increase every day. Instead of bringing in more illegal aliens and their children, we need to care for those who are already here in our society, and help their parents get the jobs they need to adequately provide for their children. We ask, Lord that we as a nation would get our priorities lined up with Yours. We know children, especially, are dear to Your heart, and we ask for wisdom, and creative ideas to help them, we pray, Amen.

" And they kept bringing young children to Him that He might touch them, and the disciples were reproving them [for it].But when Jesus saw [it], He was indignant and [a]pained and said to them, Allow the children to come to Me-do not forbid or prevent or hinder them-for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive and accept and welcome the kingdom of God like a little child [does] positively shall not enter it at all." (Mark 10:13-15)

5. White House in 'final stages' of plan to close Guantánamo Bay prison - The Telegraph UK

The White House announced on Wednesday that it is finalizing a plan to close the Guantánamo Bay detention facility in Cuba. A White House spokesman said it was in America's national security interest to close the facility which was opened by the Bush administration after the September 11 attacks to house detainees swept up in the war on terror. (Read more)

- Father, how is this in "America's national security interest" to close Guantanamo Bay Prison in Cuba? We ask for a reversal of this policy, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

- "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)

6. Russian Bombers Flew Within 40 Miles of N. California Coast - Washington Free Beacon

Two Russian nuclear bombers flew within 40 miles of the California coast and one of the pilots relayed a veiled threat during the Fourth of July aerial incident, defense officials said.

"Good morning American pilots, we are here to greet you on your Fourth of July Independence Day," a Russian Tu-95 Bear bomber crew member stated over the emergency aircraft channel.

Defense officials and the Colorado-based U.S. Northern Command said this week that two U.S. F-15 jets intercepted the Russian bombers on July 4 as they flew as close as 39 miles from the coast of Mendocino County, north of San Francisco.

During the intercept, a crew member on one of the bombers issued a warning in a radio message, according to defense officials familiar with the incident this week.(Read more)

- Abba, we thank You for the release of this information to the public. We are sorry to see that these Russian Bombers were obviously flying so close to our shore, and especially with a purpose of "mocking" us. We have heard our U.S. military generals express concern about Russia as being a very real threat to us.

We pray, Lord, even now, for a strong next president, who will be respected and feared militarily, and will have Your wisdom and Your strategies to deal with these kinds of incidents. We know that President Putin has authorized building more nuclear facilities in Iran to help them with their evil plans. You are greater, O Lord, than all of them put together! You are the Lord of the Nations, and our trust is in You alone. Give wisdom to our military and our president in dealing with these arrogant actions. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "Do not say, 'A conspiracy,' concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The Lord of Hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, And let Him be your dread." (Isaiah 8:12,13)

7. Praise God and Keep Praying! Pakistan Court Overturns Asia Bibi's Death Sentence - Breaking Christian News

Asia Bibi, the Pakistani Christian mom sentenced to hang to death for "blasphemy," will not be executed.

She has languished in prison for more than six years and is reportedly in ill health.

"The Supreme Court of Pakistan has stayed the execution of Asia Bibi on blasphemy charges," Christian Today quoted Naveed Aziz, with the British Pakistani Christian Association.

"I am pleased with this decision," she said. "It is obvious that international pressure led to this amazing decision, and I thank all people who have called for her freedom. Sister Asia will have to spend more time in jail, but her freedom is now a real possibility and only a matter of time."

A new hearing has yet to be scheduled for Bibi's case. In the meantime, she remains incarcerated. (Read more here.)

- Oh hallelujah and praise the Lord! Father God, we thank You and we praise You for this miracle! You have clearly heard the cries of Your people worldwide on behalf of this dear sister in Christ, and we thank You for this miracle. Now, Lord, we continue to "press in" until Asia has been totally set free and able to return to her family. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." (Luke 4:18)

8. Civil defense: Citizens, vets, guardsmen and cops take up arms to protect military facilities - Fox News

It's supposed to be the other way around, but civilians - as well as state and local authorities - have taken up the task of protecting the military in the wake of the Chattanooga terror attack.

Citizens groups, veterans, local law enforcement and the National Guard are all standing armed watch over the men and women of the military, protecting them from terrorists and - some say - from a federal policy that leaves service members unable to defend themselves on Pentagon property. We believe that your life holds infinite value and worth. You matter to us. As hard as I fight to save unborn babies, I fight just as hard to save people like you from the grips of the abortion industry." -Abby Johnson (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for Abby Johnson and for the beautiful example she is demonstrating by her actions towards the chief medical director at Planned Parenthood. Father, this act of forgiveness and mercy reminds us of Your work on the Cross - a work that was finished for all time on behalf of sinners. Thank You, Lord, amen.

- "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)

10. NASA's Kepler mission discovers Earth's older, bigger cousin - Fox News

NASA's Kepler mission has discovered Kepler-452b, the first near-Earth-size planet in the "habitable zone" around a sun-like star, the agency announced Thursday. Kepler-452b is the smallest planet discovered orbiting in the habitable zone, according to NASA. The habitable zone refers to the area around a star where liquid water could pool on the surface of an orbiting planet.

"We can think of Kepler-452b as an older, bigger cousin to Earth, providing an opportunity to understand and reflect upon Earth's evolving environment," said Jon Jenkins, Kepler data analysis lead at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, who led the discovery team. "It's awe-inspiring to consider that this planet has spent 6 billion years in the habitable zone of its star; longer than Earth. That's substantial opportunity for life to arise, should all the necessary ingredients and conditions for life exist on this planet." (Read more)

- Lord God, once again, the heavens declare Your glory. Amen.

- "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host." (Psalm 33:6)

White House removes God from naturalization oath

The White House has cheapened US citizenship by approving new oath waivers for those who become naturalized citizens that include not being required to declare an "oath" of allegiance to the US and removing the words "so help me God" from the new declaration to "solemnly affirm" allegiance. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) "grants this modification solely upon the applicant's request. The applicant is not required to establish that the request is based solely on his or her religious training and belief. Applicants are not required to provide any documentary evidence or testimony to support a request to substitute the words "on oath" or "so help me God." But wait, there's more.

Now naturalized citizens are not being required to defend the United States against all enemies and not having to be of any particular religion to claim conscientious objection. Couple this with the millions of Muslims being moved to the US from hotbeds of radicalism such as Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Afghanistan, Libya and so on, as well as the "president's" refusal to prevent unparalleled illegal immigration by securing the borders. This unprecedented move signals that no loyalty to America is required or expected when becoming a naturalized citizen, and foments an attitude of insurrection. This is a legal escape for those who wish to move here and conduct mischief--even if they bother to become citizens.

The new oath modifications state: "An applicant may request a modified oath that does not contain one or both of the following clauses:To bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; and To perform noncombatant service in the US armed forces when required by the law. In order to modify the oath, the applicant must demonstrate, by clear and convincing evidence, that he or she is unwilling or unable to affirm to these sections of the oath based on his or her religious training and belief, which may include a deeply held moral or ethical code." But the applicant is not required to "Belong to a specific church or religious denomination; Follow a particular theology or belief; or Have religious training."

To recap--The White House has modified the requirements of naturalized citizens to 1) not take an oath unto God, but "solemnly affirm" allegiance to the United States; 2) conscientiously object to defending the US based on religious beliefs, but the person is not required to have any religious beliefs. This essentially legalizes insurrection. Imagine all these Islamists being shipped into the US from radical countries in the Middle East who now do not have to lie about why they are here, nor swear an oath unto a God they do not believe in. This seems to add a new way of looking at Jeremiah 51:14, "Surely I will fill thee with men, as with locusts; and they shall raise a battle cry against you."

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Sanhedrin Calls Obama to Trial

Sanhedrin Calls Obama to Trial on Mt. Zion

Pope Francis on Trial Too

A re-established and self declared Israeli Sanhedrin is calling US President Barack Obama to trial for what it says are "criminal offenses" against the Jewish people following the passage of the Iran nuclear deal. The modern day Jewish high court, made up of 71 Judaic scholars and rabbis, plan to bring the American president to trial on Mount Zion on September 9, 2015, four days before Rosh Hashana, the beginning of heavenly judgement days for the Jewish nation.

According to a letter obtained exclusively by Breaking Israel News that was sent to the president, the Sanhedrin calls out Obama for "deliberately promoting genocide for the Jewish people." The judges of the Sanhedrin call on the president to "immediately announce that you are repealing and suspending the agreement."

The Sanhedrin, which has been active in Israel for over a decade, recently made news when it announced that it would be putting Pope Francis on trial in absentia for his recognition of a "State of Palestine".

"We are here for matters great and small, those that pertain to Israel, and those that pertain to other nations as well," said Rabbi Dov Stein, secretary of the Sanhedrin, to Breaking Israel News. "It is part of the process of Geula (redemption) and of the Nation of Israel coming back to the Land of Israel, reestablishing the Sanhedrin and restoring the nation as it once was, 'For out of Zion shall the Torah go out, and the world of God from Jerusalem.'"

The original Hebrew letter, with its English translation, sent to the US leader by the Sanhedrin can be read below. (Breaking Israel News)

I love Thee, I love Thee, I love Thee, my Lord;

Pakistan Court Overturns Asia Bibi's Death Sentence

Asia Bibi, the Pakistani Christian mom sentenced to hang to death for "blasphemy," will not be executed.

The Pakistani Supreme Court's three-judge panel overturned the death sentence, previously issued by two lower courts, on Wednesday.

Bibi was convicted of blasphemy in November 2010 for telling fellow workers on a berry farm, "Our Christ sacrificed His life on the cross for our sins," and "Our Christ is alive."

Alan Jackson - Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

"Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O'er us sin no more hath dominion-
For more than conqu'rors we are!

Refrain:

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace."
