Day of Purification and Humiliation:
Beginning this evening at sundown . . .
Continuing through tomorrow night at sundown
November 29 - 30, 2013
Dear Friends,
Today is the day that Pastor Jeff Daly and others across the world have set aside tonight and tomorrow (sundown to sundown) as a day of Purification and Humiliation before our Lord.
I believe that the name of this day stands on its own merit and needs no further explanation, only to know that the intention of this initiative is to allow each one of us to come before our Lord in our own prayer closets with fasting, prayers, and acts of repentance/purification/humiliation.
In preparation for this time, I would like to share the verse Abba quickened to me this morning in my devotional time:
"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent . . . " (Acts 17:30)
In addition, we are including a teaching, "Half-Full or Full?" (author unknown), for your own prayerful consideration in your own time of quiet and hidden repentance before our Lord. May our Lord find each one of us with our lamps FULL upon His soon return, and with only PURE OIL in those lamps, upon His soon return!!
Blessings to all,
Sara Ballenger, Founder and President
