"I know that My redeemer lives." (Job 19:25)
The Daily Brief
1. Obama: Arms reduction treaty with Russia is a top priority - USA Today
There's been a lot of talk about extending the George W. Bush tax cuts before the end of the year, but President Obama has identified another big goal for the upcoming lame duck session of Congress: The pending Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia.
• The Russians must be running from the room to hide their laughter at Obama's proposal to reduce arms. Putin seemingly is waiting patiently to gain world power at the expense of the USA. President Reagan kept the Russians on their toes by making America a great military power. The Russians feared the might of the USA. Again, what is Obama's plan here? To reduce America to a third world country? Watch your Congressman to see how he votes on this issue. Pray that this goal of Obama dissipates and becomes hot air while the lame duck session meets.
• "Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings." (Psalm 140:4)
2. Barack Obama: We Must Embrace Globalism And The Emerging One World Economy - Bloomberg
Although it received very little coverage in the mainstream media, Barack Obama made some comments about globalism during his speech in Mumbai, India, that were very eye-opening. As he was discussing the new realities of world trade in 2010, Obama warned against "those who see globalization as a threat" and he spoke of the "integrated world" in which we all now live.
• Unfortunately, our current president seems determined to undo American thinking. Does he understand what being an American is? Or is he following his socialist mother, his communist grandparents, or his anti-colonist father? Maybe even his Moslem step-father? Let God do the "integrating." Pray against our loss of sovereignty as a nation. The Lord chose the nations, and we know that He chose the United States of America founded on Biblical principles. Ask the Lord to lead our media to report news that directly affects our nation. Pray for our president that he becomes a son of America.
• "For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off." (Revelation 18:17)
3. U.S. CONGRESSIONAL LEADER WORKING TO PREVENT ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW PALESTINIAN TERROR STATE - Jerusalem Post
Netanyahu met with US House Minority Leader Eric Cantor for more than an hour. Cantor, a Virginia Republican, is expected to become majority leader in January. Cantor told Netanyahu that - "the Republican majority understands the special relationship between Israel and the United States, and that the security of each nation is reliant upon the other," according to a statement put out by Cantor's office. Cantor also urged the White House to "make it absolutely clear that the US will veto any effort by the Palestinians" to have the UN unilaterally declare a Palestinian state."
• Praise the Lord for House member like Eric Cantor! We in Virginia are pleased to have him represent part of our state. Pray for Cantor's protection and his wisdom as he continues to push the White House to not abandon Israel. Mr. Cantor understands far better than our president and David Axelrod, the consequences of having a Palestinian state declared by the UN. Pray that the Holy Spirit puts so much pressure on the White House that this unwise move is utterly abandoned.
• "Create in me [the White House] a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me [the White House]." (Psalm 51:10)
4. Nation states are dead: EU chief says the belief that countries can stand alone is a 'lie and an illusion' - Mail Online
In one of the most open proclamations of the goal of a European superstate since the heyday of Jacques Delors, Herman Van Rompuy went on to denounce Eurosceptism as the greatest threat to peace. Van Rompuy showed what he really is: a dangerous, cynical man who intends that all of Europe should be turned into a vast version of Belgium, an invented country called Europe where the loyal feelings and patriotism of the ancient nations are suppressed -- all replaced with a European nationalism.
• You need to be aware of this man. What he proclaims for European nations will be a move for gaining the power of the United States of America. Van Rompuy wants to do away with any feelings of patriotism towards any one nation. Who will be the leader of the European nations combined? Van Rompuy and his cohorts, of course! Van Rompuy is a leader in the one-world order. Pray for this man to have an encounter with Jesus Christ before he pursues his wicked ways. The Lord creates and destroys the power of nations.
• "Whoso despises the Word shall be destroyed: but he that fears the Commandment shall be rewarded." (Proverbs 13:13)
5. Locally acquired case of dengue fever turns up in Miami - Palm Beach Post
The first locally acquired case of dengue fever in Miami-Dade County in more than 50 years was confirmed Thursday by health officials. They warned people to take precautions against the mosquitoes that carry it. ``This is a big deal,'' said Lillian Rivera, administrator of the Miami-Dade Health Department. ``We have not had a locally acquired case of dengue fever since the 1950s,'' said Dr. Fermin Leguen, the department's chief epidemiologist. 50 cases have shown up in Key West and Broward County.
• Pray that a freeze will kill the disease-carrying mosquitoes so that crops will have time to grow to reach north. Pray against a spirit of infirmity invading these United States. Praise the Lord that health officials were able to quickly identify the disease.
• "I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord that heals you." (Exodus 15:26b)
6. Some Muslims Attending Capitol Hill Prayer Group Have Terror Ties, Probe Reveals - WND
An Al Qaeda leader, the head of a designated terror group, a confessed jihadist-in-training - it's a 'Who's Who' of controversial figures linked to radical Islam, and in some cases terror, that a FoxNews.com investigation reveals have attended weekly prayer sessions on Capitol Hill since the 9/11 attacks.
- Father, we lift up this group of terrorists to You and ask for divine intervention regarding their presumption that this is prayer. True prayer is made to the Holy Almighty God in heaven and is prayed in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Any other prayer is said to satan and is mockery to the Biblical pattern of true prayer, which is "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Father God in heaven, save the souls of these terrorists - these Moslems - who are following a false god and the reward of all their works will be hay, wood and stubble. May they repent of their sin and believe in the only true God, and Jesus Christ who died on a cross, giving His life that all the world may be saved through His blood that He shed on the cross. In Jesus Name.
- "In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes; even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things are delivered to Me of My Father: and no man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal Him." (Luke 10:21-22)

This week, for all the headlines cited below, please join us in proclaiming THIS DECREE:
• "Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together: There the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David." (Psalm 122:3-5)
1. 8,000 Ethiopians Will Emigrate to Israel - VOA
The Israeli government has decided to allow 8,000 Ethiopians who claim Jewish descent to enter the country.
2. Inside the seven-hour Clinton-Netanyahu marathon meeting - Foreign Policy
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's seven-hour marathon meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday in New York could signal a turning point in the effort to revive the stalled Middle East peace talks, as the administration works to resolve the dispute over Israeli settlement building by turning the focus to borders and security.
3. PA officials 'surprised' to hear about US freeze offer - Jerusalem Post
Palestinian Authority officials said on Sunday that they were "surprised" to hear about the latest US proposal for a three-month settlement freeze in return for a package of incentives to Israel.
4. Fallen air force navigator was Messianic Israeli - Israel Today
One of the Israelis killed in last week's air force accident in the southern Negev region was a Messianic Jew from the Jerusalem suburb of Maaleh Adumim.
Friends and family, including Israel Today Co-Editor Michael Schneider, attended the funeral of Maj. Emanuel Levi, 30, on Sunday morning in the Israeli capital. Levi was a member of a Messianic congregation in Maaleh Adumim, a town of nearly 30,000 that the world wants evacuated because it is a "Jewish settlement."
Levi and pilot Maj. Amihai Itikis, 28, lost control of their F-16I fighter jet during a nighttime simulated aerial battle last Wednesday. Air force officials now believe human error was the cause of the crash, and have ungrounded Israel's F-16 fleet after a short investigation to ensure there was no technical problem with the aircraft.
• Praise the Lord that this pilot knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We hope that his family is comforted by that fact, for we know that he is now with the Lord. We also thank the Lord that Israel has a skilled air force, ever learning how to better protect the land and Israel's citizens. Most of the "settlements" coveted by the Palestinians are the size of Maaieh Adumin, not some little assembly of tents or trailers. Pray that the "settlements" are never destroyed and the inhabitants displaced as occurred in Gaza in 2005.
• "For the Lord knows the way of the righteous" (Psalm 1:6a)
The Daily Jot
"Moslems" dictating the civil rights of Americans
The Islamist attacks on America began before 9/11/2001. There were many terrorist attacks against the United States and its citizens around the world by [Moslems]. By 2001, there were metal detectors at airports and security checks were routine. All because of [Moslems] who insisted on attacking air travel to kill the infidels. Since 9/11, the rights of every American citizen have been restricted because of what the government wants us to believe is a handful of radical [Moslems]. President George W Bush was quoted more than once as saying that the [Moslem] terrorists needed to be right only once, and American security wrong only once for there to be a major terrorist disaster.
It would be an amazing number to publish the amount of money the [Moslem] religion has cost the American taxpayer. Further, it would be an astronomical measure to quantify the loss of civil rights attributed to the [Moslem] religion. Now the government has come up with what it calls "Backscatter" technology that uses low doses of radiation to create a naked image of those traveling on airplanes. This is what the government believes is an acceptable way to scan prospective air passengers for explosives or other materials that could cause death on an aircraft. The government says the radiation is safe, but who is to trust the government these days? Some believe there are health risks associated with these machines.
If one does not want to experience the naked body scan complete with the extra radiation with unknown future side effects, one can submit to a so-called "pat down." This "pat down" includes a government official groping your genitals. If you refuse such a groping, it is likely you will not be permitted to fly and you are susceptible to civil fines of up to $10,000 according to Transportation Safety Administration policies. The Airlines can refuse to transport you if you refuse to permit a search of person or property by the TSA. You agree to this as part of the terms and conditions of purchasing an air travel ticket. In other words, you give up your Constitutional right of privacy and of unwarranted search and seizure.
In Genesis 16:12, an angel of the Lord describes Ishmael, the son of Abraham that the [Moslems] claim as their connection to God. The angel says, "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." This prophecy is true today because most everywhere in the world there is trouble, Islam is associated with it. By blowing up some airplanes, Muslims have cost non- [Moslems] unmeasurable money and loss of civil rights. Yet, it is the Muslims who protest the loudest about airport restrictions on their religious rights. If only they would protest so vigorously against terrorism.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Lame Duck Congress Returns This Week
On Monday, Democrats will trickle back into their offices to take a long last look around. For more than 60 members, the lame-duck will be their swan song. But before they join the unemployment lines their party never managed to shorten, the fading majority has big plans for its Capitol farewell. The leadership that couldn't pass a budget in two years is pushing to pass a lot more. With only 10 days at work in November, Democrats are stuffing the agenda fatter than a Thanksgiving turkey. According to reports, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) have batted around a thick menu of legislative options, including tax cuts, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," Defense Authorization, child nutrition, amne sty for illegal immigrants, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), judicial confirmations, health care hearings, and even a global push to overturn pro-life laws.
But even in the majority, it won't be easy to binge on bills. Time is tight--and so are House Republicans, who are heading into this final session in the minority with less incentive to compromise. While tensions are probably highest in the debates over homosexuals in the military and Obama's tax hikes, there's plenty of drama to go around. Democrats have at least three congressional hearings on the schedule with major implications for pro-family groups. Hoping the noise over big ticket items will drown them out, liberals are bringing Robert Chatigny (serial rapist sympathizer) back up for consideration in the Judiciary Committee. You may remember that Chatigny--who was nominated to the Second Circuit Court not once, but twice by Obama--has a record so horrifying that even Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) refused to vote for him.
Among other things, Chatigny is on the record defending a man that violently raped women and murdered eight. "[He] is the lea st culpable of the people on death row," Chatigny insisted. "He should have never been convicted." On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will decide if his empathy for cold-blooded killers makes him worthy of promotion to one of the country's most powerful courts.
Later in the week, the most important man that you've never heard of--Robert Berwick--will have his first sit down with the Senate Finance Committee about his radical plans for health care. Berwick, who the President entrusted with $962 billion dollars, heads up the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid--a job he was never approved by Congress to do. Instead, the White House, sensing that his pro-euthanasia socialist views would pose problems even for his own party, made Berwick a recess appointment. "There are a lot of questions that he'll need to answer next week," said Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah). Not the least of which should be his fondness for rationing and death panels.
Also buried deep within the Senate docket is a hearing on "Human Rights and the Law," which will be a regurgitation of the debate over CEDAW, a rabid anti-life treaty that claims abortion is a universal right. Among other things, the administrati on would use its ratification to strong-arm other countries into overturning their pro-life laws. Conservatives will have to be on guard next week, else Speaker Pelosi will achieve at least one goal: leaving the House an absolute mess.

Islam in Tennessee
Hearing over Tennessee mosque puts Islam on trial
Islam is suddenly on trial in a booming Nashville suburb, where opponents of a new mosque have spent six days in court trying to link it to what they claim is a conspiracy to take over America by imposing restrictive religious rule. The hearing is supposed to be about whether Rutherford County officials violated Tennessee's open meetings law when they approved the mosque's site plan. Instead, plaintiff's attorney Joe Brandon Jr. has used it as a forum to question whether the world's second-biggest faith even qualifies as a religion, and to push a theory that American Muslims want to replace the Constitution with extremist Islamic law. "Do you want to know about a direct connection between the Islamic Center and Shariah law, a.k.a. terrorism?" Brandon asked one witness in a typical line of questioning. (AP) Read more.
Update: Fort Hood
Army's Fort Hood Report Draws Criticism
Leaders of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee are blasting an Army report into failures leading up to last year's Fort Hood shooting massacre by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. In a report issued Tuesday, the Army said it failed to properly identify the threat that existed before the shooting, the Washington Times reports. While the report recommended greater education for troops on identifying "when individuals may commit violent acts or become radicalized," it did not mention Hasan by name, nor did it refer to the shooting as a terrorist attack, instead referencing the "tragedy."
Witnesses at a recent probable cause hearing described hearing him shout "Allahu Akbar" before opening fire inside a Fort Hood processing center. A statement from Homeland Security committee spokeswoman Leslie Phillips said the report's findings "fall short of explaining why 13 Americans were killed over a year ago - namely that we are threatened by violent Islamist extremism and that an Army major who made public statements supportive of this murderous ideology was not stopped by his superiors.
It is disappointing that these final reports fail to mention violent Islamist extremism and do not offer explicit policies or procedures to make sure that service members who become radicalized to violent Islamist cult extremism are identified, reported, and discharged." (IPT)
Update: U.S., Israel, Iran
US Disagrees with Netanyahu's Call to Threaten Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has escalated his rhetoric towards Iran, calling on the West to threaten the Islamic Republic with military action over their nuclear program. In comments to the Jewish Federations of North America on Monday [November 8], Netanyahu said that while sanctions were having an impact, they haven't done enough.
Said the Israeli leader, "The simple paradox is this: if the international community, led by the United States, hopes to stop Iran's nuclear program without resorting to military action, it will have to convince Iran that it is prepared to take such action."
The US, however, has so far rejected the idea that military threats are the only way to stop Iran. In comments posted on the State Department Web site, US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates told reporters, "I disagree that only a credible military threat can get Iran to take the actions that it needs to end its nuclear weapons program. We are prepared to do what is necessary, but at this point, we continue to believe that the political, economic approach that we are taking is, in fact, having an impact in Iran."
Despite the fact that the US is sticking to sanctions for the time being, Gates also reminded the reporters that Obama has repeatedly said that "all options are on the table." As for the international sanctions on Iran, Gates said, "We know that they [Iran] are concerned about the impact of the sanctions. The sanctions are biting more deeply than they anticipated, and we are working very hard at this."
Netanyahu, in his speech, expressed his appreciation for Obama's efforts to pass sanctions on Iran, even if more needs to be done. "There is no doubt that these sanctions are putting strong economic pressures on the Iranian regime," said Netanyahu. "But we have yet to see any signs that the tyrants of Tehran are reconsidering their pursuit of nuclear weapons. The only time that Iran suspended its nuclear program was for a brief period in 2003 [the same year the US invaded Iraq] when the regime believed it faced a credible threat of military action against it."
Netanyahu was firm in his dire perspective regarding Iran with nuclear weapons. "Containment will not work against Iran. It won't work with a brazen regime that accuses America of bombing its own cities on 9/11, openly calls for Israel's annihilation. and is the world's leading sponsor of terrorism. When faced with such a regime, the only responsible policy is to prevent it from developing atomic bombs in the first place," said Netanyahu. "The bottom line is this: Iran's nuclear program must be stopped. Iran's nuclear program is the greatest danger we face." (Bridges for Peace)
Pray that the international community will heed PM Netanyahu's warnings regarding Iran's nuclear threat and deal with it before it is too late.

Hizbullah: "We are ready for war"
Hizbullah: We are ready for another war with Israel
Hizbullah is ready for another war with Israel, said the group's leader Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech on Thursday evening. Referring to what he termed Israel's habit of becoming involved where it is not welcome, he emphasized that his Lebanese terrorist group is not at all afraid of future conflicts. With progress in the UN Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), charged with investigating the 2005 Rafik Hariri assassination, and the Hizbullah indictments expected, Nasrallah also said that Hizbullah will "cut the hand" of anyone who tries to arrest any member of the party. "Those who imagine that we will allow the arrest or detention of any of our fighters are mistaken," he told thousands of supporters in south Beirut through video link. "We will cut the hand that reaches out for any one of them." (Jerusalem Post) Read more.

National FBI Sex-Trafficking Sting Yields 885 Arrests, Rescues 69 Children
The FBI conducted its ongoing "Operation Cross Country V" on Nov. 5-7, in 40 cities around the country, as part of its ongoing Innocence Lost National Initiative. Whether sex-trafficking has become more prevalent or the FBI is better coordinating with state and local law enforcement agencies, one thing is certain: The statistics are more alarming with each passing year.
According to the FBI, this year's sting helped recover 69 children, who had been forced into prostitution, and arrested nearly 885 persons and 99 pimps. States targeted include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, said he hopes these statistics will help awaken the nation to this growing problem.
"American children are being marketed and sold for sex in American cities," Allen said. "These kids are victims. This is 21st century slavery."
According to the FBI: "Task Force operations usually begin as local actions, targeting such places as truck stops, casinos, street 'tracks' and Internet websites, based on intelligence gathered by officers working in their respective jurisdictions...
"To date, the 39 Innocence Lost Task Forces and Working Groups have recovered over 1,200 children from the streets. The investigations and subsequent 625 convictions have resulted in lengthy sentences, including multiple 25-years-to-life sentences and the seizure of more than $3.1 million in assets."
Shawn Henry, executive assistant director of the FBI's Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch, said that child prostitution continues to be a significant problem.
"There is no work more important than protecting America's children and freeing them from the cycle of victimization," Henry said. "Through our strategic partnerships with state and local law enforcement agencies, we are able to make a difference." (CitizenLink)
