News from President Trump

President Trump Speaks from the Cabinet Room

ON BORDER SECURITY

President Trump has given Mexico one year to get control of their side of the border.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "We're going to give them a one-year warning and if the drugs don't stop, or aren't largely stopped, we're going to put tariffs on Mexico and products, in particular, cars. The whole ball game is cars. That's the big ball game, with many countries, it's cars. And if that doesn't stop the drugs, we close the border."

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "Mexico understands that we're going to close the border or I'm going to tariff the cars. I'll do one or the other, and probably start off with the tariffs. That will be a very powerful incentive because Mexico has the strongest immigration laws anywhere in the world."

Mexico has very strong immigration laws.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "Mexico has been capturing people and bringing them back to their countries at their southern border. They've been taking people under their very powerful laws - they have the right to do it - and they're bringing them back to where they came from."

Mexico needs to cut off the deadly supply of drugs that are flooding across our border.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "If the drugs don't stop, Mexico can stop them if they want, we're going to tariff the cars. The cars are very big. And if that doesn't work, we're going to close the border."

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "We're also going to do something having to do with tariffs on drugs, because not only are hundreds of thousands of lives a year being ruined in our country, but numbers of people are dying that you wouldn't believe."

Congress needs to end Chain Migration and close Catch-And-Release loopholes.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "It's the most ridiculous system anyone has ever seen, and we have catch and release, and we have chain migration, where somebody comes in and brings the whole family. The craziest thing I've ever seen - put in by Democrats."

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "We have a stupid system of courts. It's the craziest thing in the world. We could be the only country that has it. You put a foot on the property, you put a foot into the United States, congratulations, go get Perry Mason to represent you."

President Trump is continuing to build the wall, with more large sections under construction right now.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "The wall is under construction, by the way. Large sections. We're going to be meeting, I think, on Friday at a piece of the wall that we've completed, a big piece. A lot of it's being built right now. A lot of it's being signed up right now by different contractors. It's moving along nicely."

ON CHINA

Trade negotiations with China are going well and it is clear that they very much want to make a deal.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "Trade's coming along well. We're having a big meeting this afternoon. The Vice Premier [of China] is here and lots of top people from China. They very much want to make a deal. We'll see what happens."

President Trump wants to ensure it is a strong deal for America across the board.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "It's got to be a good deal. It's got to be a great deal. Look, we've been losing, over many years, $400 billion, $500 billion, $600 billion a year. A few years ago $200 [billion] routinely to China. Can't do that." PRESIDENT TRUMP: "It'll be a great deal for our farmers, technology, intellectual property theft, everything is covered. There's not a thing that's not covered."

ON USMCA

USMCA is an excellent agreement and any opposition is purely political.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "It's a great deal. If they don't pass it, it's purely political. The USMCA, everyone wants to see it passed."

Answered Prayer in the Senate

Senate Rules Change to Allow for More Confirmations of Trump Appointments

On April15th of each year U.S. taxpayers are required to submit their personal income tax returns. Many taxpayers are tempted to complain, ridicule and even curse the government at this time and such comments are commonly heard in the world. However, Romans chapter 13 tells us that the civil authorities are ministers of God for our good, to be a terror to evildoers but a praise and a protection to the righteous. 1st Timothy two, verses one through four tell us to pray and give thanks for all those in authority so that we will have safety and prosperity to spread the gospel. Let's pray about all this.

In a pair of 51-48 votes, the Senate lowered the amount of time senators can delay a vote after a filibuster has been surmounted from 30 hours to two hours for district court nominees, and for most executive branch jobs.
including the time it takes to cast votes, Republicans could confirm 10 or more people in the time it used to take to approve a single judge or assistant secretary.

Republicans said they felt compelled to act after Democrats attempted to filibuster more than 120 nominees in Mr. Trump's first two years in office, more than the past six presidents combined in their first two years.

> > > Loving Father, we pray that our government officials would be God-fearing and recognize that they are accountable to You for each decision and action.
(Sources for article and prayer: Intercessors for America and Washington Times) Read more here.
> > > Additional prayer offered by one of IFA's readers:

Father, would you present to president Trump those judges and appointments whom you have chosen to fill positions across America. I pray that President Trump would be elected again to further the rescue and deliverance of America from those in our government and other countries who seek their own way and not Yours. Thank You, Lord God, for moving in the hearts and minds of our elected officials. Bless them with wisdom and peace.

And we say . . . AMEN!

Male and female he created them

Daily Jot sources indicate that the situation on the Mexican border is far worse than is being reported. Sources who have worked with homeland security at the border believe it is an emergency-level crisis. This is just one issue of many that the federal government is failing to solve. Yet, neo-communists in control of the House of Representatives are continuing to seek tax returns of the President, hold hearings on bills to end the electoral college, and now a hearing on a bill that would force Americans into agreeing that men and women can arbitrarily change their sex by just saying they are not male or female. Yes, it is true. These nefarious Democrats are wasting time and taxpayer money on this nonsense.

Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) is advocating for HR 5, which she says protects the right of people to change their sexual identity and force acceptance of those decisions by the citizenry. Jayapal testified tearfully, "I came to understand what their newfound freedom ― it is the only way I can describe what has happened to my beautiful child, what their newfound freedom to wear a dress, to rid themselves of some conformist stereotype of what they are, to be able to express who they are at their real core. My child is free to be who they are. And in that freedom comes a responsibility for us as legislators to protect their freedom to be who they are and to legislate behavior towards all people in our society."

This is over the top crazy. Jayapal, and her neo-communist Democrat colleagues, want to legislate your behavior, your beliefs toward whether a person can claim they are a gender that they are not. This bill would force the acceptance of men, for example, to, as Breitbart News reports, "take women's places in sports and showers, in shelters, scholarships, and business set-asides; in culture, commerce, and language, such as in the use of male or female pronouns."With all the issues before this country right now, this is one issue that the Democratic leadership thinks is important enough to hold a hearing in Congress. It is just another hypocrisy. Say you are for women's rights, yet work to destroy women's rights.

There is probably nothing more absolute than being born either a male or a female. It has been this way since the beginning of mankind. Genesis 3:23, 24, says, "And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Christ said in Mark 10:6,7, "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh." This is just another communist effort to mock God and destroy the moral fabric of America while far more pressing challenges are ignored.

Have a blessed and powerful day,

The Daily Jot Staff

Pray for Israel's Elections: April 9th

TEL AVIV - A majority of Israelis believe Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will beat his main political rival Benny Gantz in April's elections and serve another term, tie David Ben-Gurion and become the longest-serving prime minister in Israel's history, a new poll aired Monday showed.

Fifty-three percent of respondents said Netanyahu is the most qualified candidate to be prime minister while 30 percent chose Gantz.

The poll also showed Netanyahu's Likud outscoring Gantz's Blue and White party for the first time - albeit by a single seat. Likud would win 31 seats if elections were held today while Blue and White would secure 30. Likud currently has 30 seats out of the Knesset's 120 total. (Breitbart) Read more.
> > > Also reported by Intercessors for America. Go here.
Let's pray:

Abba we declare and decree your choice and wisdom to come upon your people in this election. Send forth your angels with discernment for your chosen people and let them remove any of the veils the enemy has placed on them. Let only truth prevail and your will be done in the Israel elections for all who are running for office and especially for the position of Prime Minister. Bring forth any revelation that needs to come forth for you to have your victory in those you desire to lead in your beloved country.

Majority Leader Hoyer seemed to indicate House Democrats were conditioning their bringing up H.R. 962 in the House on Senate Republicans taking up H.R. 1, their priority legislation, in the Senate.

Hoyer said, "The gentleman mentioned, earlier, H.R. 1 and that Mr. McConnell has said that wouldn't be brought up. In fact, when it passed this House, it went to the Senate, and it was not brought up by Senator McConnell.  So there are no plans at this point in time for us to bring this up."

This could be a huge opportunity for positive bipartisan developments in Congress. This isn't a condition to pass anything in either chamber; it would simply be an agreement for each chamber to hold debate on the other party's legislation. This could go a long way on (a) the issues raised in both pieces of legislation and (b) relationships among Members of Congress and across the aisle.

Please pray for more conversation among Congressional leaders. God can still work in this Congress!

Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:23-24)

Operation Restoration

Operation Restoration

BULLETIN!! PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW NUMBER AND ACCESS CODE:

712-770-5350
150411#

Once each week, on Sunday mornings and for 24 hours, join with others in OPERATION RESTORATION . . .

"Operation Restoration"

This initiative is based upon the Move of the Spirit that was launched last month during Operation Refiner's Fire. The LORD has shown us that He has used those fires to ignite the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT to visit our people, which He now yearns to keep burning among our people until the day of His return!

"Operation Restoration" is based on the promise of Scripture, recorded in
2 Chronicles 7:14,15.

It is written:

. . . "and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."

This is a weekly Solemn Assembly, where saints can feel free to gather each Sunday, to offer prayers of repentance before our Lord, for the many sins our nation has committed before Him.

Abba so desires to hear our prayers . . . He is just waiting to heal us!

You can join us, any Sunday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST by calling:
712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411##
Each week, our conference line for Operation Restoration will remain open until Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.EST -- allowing for 24 hours of nonstop prayer before our King of Kings, that He might, indeed, "heal our land." Amen.

For the week of April 7 - 13, 2019

On April15th of each year U.S. taxpayers are required to submit their personal income tax returns. Let's pray about all this.

"Today, Father God, in the name of Jesus, we break any curses spoken over our government at this time of year. We believe we receive the body of Christ having God's attitude toward paying taxes. We thank You for reminding Your people to pray over their taxes so that the government can make the best possible use of these monies in Jesus' name. We forgive our government and we break the power of any negative words spoken over our government at this time of year. We thank You, Lord, for helping our government to be Your ministers for our good. Thank You, Lord, for continuing to use America to provide an umbrella of economic and military security for the fastest possible spread of the gospel worldwide, in Jesus' name. Amen."
