RAISING UP A CANOPY OF PRAYER OVER AMERICA

33 "Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: [the enemy]

'He shall not come into this city,
Nor shoot an arrow there,
Nor come before it with shield,
Nor build a siege mound against it.

34 By the way that he came,
By the same shall he return;
And he shall not come into this city,'
Says the Lord.

35 'For I will defend this city, to save it For My own sake and for My servant David's sake.'"
(Isaiah 37:33-35)

Raising up a Canopy of Prayer over the Nation

Five Hundred prayer warriors joined in prayer for America!

"Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power." (Psalm 110:3)

Last Friday evening, at 5:00 p.m., over 500 of our prayer partners joined forces to raise up a Canopy of Prayer over our nation, using the conference line provided by PrayerSurgeNow.

This great outpouring of love and devotion in united prayer for the safekeeping of our country was truly historic. THANK YOU!

As the evening continued, we prayed not only over the 37 cities named by BlackLivesMatter for demonstations that night, but also other cities where protests were expected to take place, as well.

Today, we thank GOD that He did answer our prayers, and that, not only were there no major demonstrations reported that night, the Peace of God held through yesterday (Saturday), too.
Today, however, also we grieve with the citizens of Baton Rouge who even now are under siege by armed "terrorists" who have brought violence to their city. As of this writing, three police officers have been killed, and 3 others injured. The shooter was also killed. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE SAFETY OF THE CITIZENS OF BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.
Clearly, this war is not over . . .
Please find below several reports of what did, and did not take place Friday night as our Canopy of Prayer was in place; and then be sure to note the next step in our own strategy of intercession to see this war brought under control and brought to an end.

Again, we thank you all for your participation, and may Abba richly bless you in return.

In St. Louis

In St. Louis . . .

Observers on site at the Arch in St. Louis have reported that the media were on cue, too.

Apparently having been alerted to the planned demonstrations, media from local stations in St. Louis began gathering under the Arch at about 6:00 p.m. in anticipation of the big event.
After three hours, when no one showed up, they paked up and went home.

Even the Amish Prayed!

Even the Amish Prayed!

(Please be blessed by this report from Rivkah Isaacs)

Sara,

I know that at least two of my prayer team members were on the call.

I just heard from one of them who lives in Indiana. About 7:00 p.m. (EDT), she and her husband arrived at their Amish friends house where they visit every Friday night. When she told them what she was doing, they got the phone out of the phone shed and used a battery. She, her husband and some of their friends sat around the phone outside and they popped beans and sang, "God Bless America," in the rural Indiana countryside.

You never know who the Lord brings together for these calls.

Shalom!
Rivkah

Dear Friends,

When we closed our conference call on Friday, none of us knew what was ahead, nor did we have an agenda after that one night of prayer. We did take note, however, that DaiSupHan, President of PrayerSurgeNow, spoke that we would see a "birthing" coming out of the call that night . . . and now we have.

In light of the news out of Baton Rouge today, our Lord is now calling us to remain available to you and to each other, on an "open call line," every night this week, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

During that hour, you will be welcome to share any burden you may have that the Lord has laid upon your heart, and we will join you as you lift up your voice to Him.

In this day of "late breaking news," any and all topics are welcome, as long as our prayers are anchored in the Word of God and released from Father's heart of love for our people. We do ask that prayers be restricted to three minutes or less, so that all who wish to pray, may do so.
> > > Please note that we will not address intercession for the general election (many are doing this already), but prayers for the safety of all who are meeting in Cleveland this week are more than welcome!
Also, we will close promptly at 8:00 p.m., so that our callers may then join DaiSupHan for his own nightly prayer on his conference line:

Access Code: 6149782#

7:00 p.m. Eastern/6:00 p.m. Central/5:00 p.m. Mountain/ 4:00 p.m. Pacific

For details about the call at 8:00 p.m., please go here.

Thank You for Joining Us!

Thank You for Joining Us on our call line this week.

We look forward to hearing from you again, because it is written:
"The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
(James 5:16)

AMEN!
