1. OBAMA TO ADDRESS NATION'S SCHOOLCHILDREN TOMORROW
Parents rebel against Obama TV speech to schools
Parents across the country are rebelling against plans by Barack Hussein Obama to speak directly to their children through the classrooms of the nation's public schools without their presence, participation and approval. The plans announced by Obama also have been cited as raising the specter of the Civilian National Security Force, to which he's referred several times since his election campaign began, but never fully explained.
"He's recruiting his civilian army. His 'Hitler' youth brigade," wrote one participant in a forum at Free Republic. . . ."Totalitarian regimes around the world have sought to spread their propaganda and entrench their power by brainwashing the children. I guess it's easier toindoctrinate a six-year-old instead of fighting a 26-year-old or being challenged by a 46-year-old in the voting booth," the blogger wrote.
At issue was an announcement that Obama plans to deliver a message directly to students via the Internet into public school classrooms across the nation on Sept. 8. According to announcement posted on ServiceWire.org, Obama will address students "about the importance of persisting and succeeding in school" at 1 p.m. Eastern at the WhiteHouse.gov website. The announcement said the federal Department of Education "is encouraging educators, students and parents to use this opportunity to help students get focused and begin the school year strong." The government also is publicizing a list of suggestions for students and teachers to do in preparation for the speech, including studying Barack Obama's writings and presidency. (Fox News)
- The same technique, just different words are being employed by the president and his advisors to give his message to innocent children. The use of innocent- sounding words beguiles the public, especially children, to assume the best since children are taught to respect the office of the presidency. Please pray that this speech is not played in the schools of America: schools do have a choice. Also, cry out to the Lord to protect the minds and emotions of our children while the speech is being broadcast.

2. OBAMA VIOLATES FEDERAL LAW IN SPEAKING TO CHILDREN
U.S. Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan recently sent a letter to school principals encouraging them to cease academic instruction and have classes tune in to a live speech Obama will give to children during school hours on Tuesday at noon. The DOE even provided lesson plans, sample activities and questions that teachers can use to promote the event. The letter encourages teachers to "build background knowledge about the president by reading books about Barack Obama."
But Obama's extreme overreach goes well beyond political tastelessness. It's actually a violation of federal law. Federal law specifically forbids Obama, Duncan or any officer from exercising "any direction, supervision, or control over the curriculum, program of instruction, administration, or personnel of any educational institution, school, or school system." 20 U.S.C. § 3403.
Although, due to the backlash, some of the most offensive language has been softened, students as young as kindergarten will, nonetheless, be asked: "Why is it important that we listen to the president? What is the president asking me to do? What specific job is he asking me to do?" Children's writings would later be used "to make students accountable to their goals."
Matt Barber, Director of Cultural Affairs with both Liberty Counsel and Liberty Alliance Action, stated: "Not only is this a violation of federal law, it's just plain creepy. It's surreal. Obama's actions here are right out of the playbooks of Saul Alinsky and Chairman Mao. Soviet Russia? Sure. America? No way. I'm furious. Hands off my children, Mr. President!"
"We are a nation of laws," continued Barber, "not a federal cult of personality. Obama and the DOE had better pull the plug on this or outraged parents across the country may just insist that members of Congress dust of their 'high crimes and misdemeanors' cheat sheets from the 1990s."
Liberty Counsel is urging parents to "demand that schools not participate. If the school allows Obama and the DOE to indoctrinate school children, parents ought to opt their children out of this illegal program." (Liberty Counsel)
- Lawyers and parents know that pro-abortion and pro- homosexual leaders who see it fit to bypass State laws and ignore the authority of schoold superintendents and principals, are quite frankly not the leaders that Americans want speaking to their children. Please intercede that Mr. Obama will take care of his stance on these issues before going after the American children, trying to give them advice or incentive to do anything. Ask the Father to calm the fears that are growing due to the dealings of this President with the American people.

3. OBAMA "GREEN JOBS" CZAR, VAN JONES, RESIGNS AMID CONTROVERSY
White House green jobs adviser Van Jones resigned in the middle of the Labor Day weekend following persistent controversy over his past remarks and associations.
Jones, who served as an adviser to the White House Council on Environmental Quality, had generated mounting criticism over the past week. He earlier issued back-to-back apologies -- first, for calling Republicans "assholes" during a videotaped address earlier in the year, and second for signing a petition in 2004 supporting the "9/11 truther" movement, which believes the Bush administration may have been involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. The latter development, which came on top of several others, was perhaps the most devastating and led to calls for his resignation. Jones stepped down late Saturday. (AP)
- As we truly need people of wisdom and balance in our government right now, please pray for Mr. Van Jones. God can do anything and He tells us to pray accordingly. Wouldn't it be great if, as we intercede for this former Green Jobs Czar, he turned himself around and found some solid ground for his feet? Please ask God to now bring this now-humbled man to the knowledge of our Savior. Amen.

4. CZAR RESIGNATION BIG BLOW TO OBAMA
The resignation of White House green jobs adviser Van Jones could ultimately embolden conservatives who are critical of the Obama administration for its reliance on "czars" -- the nickname for special advisers who do not need congressional approval. But even before his resignation, critics said the controversy surrounding Jones was indicative of the fundamental problem with the administration's reliance on such advisers.
Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., the first lawmaker to call for Jones' resignation, said Friday that in light of the controversy Obama should suspend the appointment of additional "czars" until Congress has a chance to examine the background and responsibilities of such individuals, as well as determine the constitutionality of such appointments.
Now that Jones is out of the way, Republicans are turning their fire on czars in general.
Sen. Lamar Alexander, the third-ranking Republican in the Senate, called the czars "an affront to the Constitution" since they are not approved by Congress. "I don't think (Jones is) the issue. I think the czars are the issue," Alexander, R-Tenn., said on "FOX News Sunday." "We have about two dozen so-called czars -- the pay czar, the car czar, all these czars in the White House." (Fox News)
- Please intercede for an ongoing and full throttled investigation into this and the many other Czars, who may also have not been properly vetted into this administration, because those who have the President's ear do affect our very lives.

5. OBAMA'S GOT YOUR EMAIL
The White House is hiring a contractor to harvest information about Americans from its pages on social networking websites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr. The National Legal and Policy Center, or NLPC, revealed the White House New Media team is seeking to hire a technology vendor to collect data such as comments, tag lines, e-mail, audio and video from any place where the White House "maintains a presence" - for a period of up to eight years.
"The contractor shall provide the necessary services to capture, store, extract to approved formats, and transfer content published by EOP (Executive Office of the President) on publicly-accessible web sites, along with information posted by non-EOP persons on publicly- accessible web sites where the EOP offices under PRA (Presidential Records Act) maintains a presence," the posting states. NLPC warns, "[V]irtually any communication mentioning the president or the administration could become subject to collection and archiving under the act. This is not out of an 'abundance of caution,' but out of an over-abundance of power. President Obama should make sure that this plan goes no further."
WND has also reported that the Obama administration has announced plans to lift a government ban on tracking visitors to government websites, and potentially, collect their personal data through the use of "cookies" - an effort some suspect may already be in place on White House sites. A ban on such tracking by the federal government on Internet users has been in place since 2000, however, the White House Office of Management and Budget now wants to lift the ban citing a "compelling need."
According to Obama "technology czar" Vivek Kundra, the "compelling need" driving this major policy reversal is the administration's desire to create "more open" government and to "enhance citizen participation in government." (WorldNetDaily)
- Decree that this intrusion into the private lives of Americans will never be exercised. A law established in 2000 definitely forbids such invasions by the White House. Pray that the media will expose the White House's desire to track private emails, for the American public will probably be incensed. Set your computer so that each time you open it, the "cookies" will be cleaned out. There is no "compelling" need.

6. CONGRESS FIGHTS BACK
Issa to Emanuel: Back Off!
Following reports that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has been orchestrating an effort to intimidate members of Congress and Governors who raise legitimate concerns regarding the effectiveness of the stimulus, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Ranking Member Darrell Issa (R- CA) sent a letter to Emanuel saying "While this type of scare tactic may work in Chicago, it will not work to intimidate me or other Members of the United States Congress."
"I and others have dared to bring these facts to the attention of Obama, the Congress and the American people," Issa wrote. "You've unfortunately reacted by once again resorting to the playbook of the Chicago political machine."
"At what point do you believe your practice of Chicago- style politics violates a public official's right to speak out in favor of alternative policies," Issa asks. "The American people have a right to know what role you played in developing the threatening letters to (Arizona) Governor (Jan) Brewer and whether you intend to continue to engage in these tactics in the future." 7. OBAMA CALLS ISLAM 'GREAT RELIGION' AT RAMADAN DINNER
Barack Hussein Obama on Tuesday praised American Muslims for enriching the nation's culture at a dinner to celebrate the Islamic month of Ramadan, which began Aug. 22. "The contribution of Muslims to the United States are too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country," Obama said at the iftar, the dinner that breaks the holiday's daily fast.
The president joined Cabinet secretaries, members of the diplomatic corps and lawmakers to pay tribute to what he called "a great religion and its commitment to justice and progress." Attendees included Congress' two Muslim members -- Reps. Keith Ellison and Andre Carson as well as ambassadors from Islamic nations and Israel's ambassador to the United States, Michael Oren.
Obama also released a video message to Muslims before the start to Ramadan. In the video, he said Ramadan's rituals are a reminder of the principles Muslims and Christians have in common, including advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings. (AP)
- Pray for the president's advisors, for they (especially David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel) are providing their leader with false words. We in the USA have yet to see the "greatness" of Islam, except in its brutality and love of death. Perhaps the president can explain the "common principles" that Christianity and Islam share. What are these "rituals" of Islam? Ask the Lord to visit our president in the night so that Obama can know the truth and be a spokesman for Jesus Christ.

8. 50,000 MOSLEMS TO DESCEND ON CAPITOL HILL SEPT. 25TH
A massive Islamic prayer service will be held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. at the end of this month - and 50,000 Muslims are expected to take part. For a few hours on Sept. 25, the site where U.S. presidents are traditionally inaugurated, will essentially be turned into a giant outdoor mosque. The Jummah service - weekly Friday prayers - will "echo off of the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and other great edifices that surround Capitol Hill," according to the organizers.
They explain that the objective of the gathering is to "invite the Muslim Communities and friends of Islam to express and illustrate the wonderful diversity of Islam. We intend to manifest Islam's majestic spiritual principals [sic] as revealed by Allah to our beloved prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) of Arabia. Likewise, we intend to inspire a new generation of Muslims to work for the greater good of all people."
The event, organized by a mosque in Elizabeth, New Jersey, is billed as a "Day of Islamic Unity." "Thousands of Muslims from all races, creeds, colors and ethnicities will gather for the sole purpose of prayer," the organizers' website states, and "the peace, beauty and solidarity of Islam will shine through America's capitol." - Secret prayers, not public, should be similar to Elijah and the prophets of Baal. We can ask Father for rain and winds so that the meeting has to be canceled. We can ask for sound equipment to not work. But most importantly: We can ask for visions so that those who are planning to gather will instead encounter a "Damascus Road" experience like Saul of Tarsus and receive Jesus as LORD and bow in worship and in wonder and in a willingness to follow Him to the death!!!!! It is time for the Lord of the heavens to come down in mercy on a group of people, a nation, which did not call on MY NAME.

9. OBAMA'S PLAN TO DESECRATE 9/11
The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.
This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year's election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it's not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.
The plan is to turn a "day of fear" that helps Republicans into a day of activism called the National Day of Service that helps the left. In other words, nihilistic liberals are planning to drain 9/11 of all meaning. On Aug. 4, the White House offered a glimpse into its plans to desecrate 9/11 for political advantage. Van Jones appeared in a largely ignored 33-minute video posted on the official blog of the White House to discuss the administration's plan to flush 9/11 down the memory hole just as it has tried to do by rechristening the Global War on Terror the "Overseas Contingency Operations."
Of this National Day of Service, Jones says little except that it will be a great opportunity "for people to connect, to find other people in your peer group who are also passionate about repowering America but also greening up America and cleaning up America."
At no time does anyone explain why this National Day of Service has to be held - of all the 365 days in a year - on Sept. 11. Read more. (By Matthew Vadum; The American Spectator)

10. REP. JOHN CARTER: EXAMINING THE EVIDENCE ON HEALTH CARE REFORM
. . . Let's examine the evidence together. In looking at the both sides of this case, let's leave out the emotion and political rhetoric, and try to look at just the facts on each major point.
To begin, we can only examine the bill passed by Democrats in the House Energy and Commerce Committee in late August, HR 3200. That will not be the final bill, if there is a final bill. The current House version would first be voted on by the entire House, where changes would be made, then reconciled with whatever the Senate passes, changed again, then brought to a final vote in both Chambers. But this Committee version is all we have in writing, so that's what we must judge.
HR 3200 is fatally flawed, does not provide the health reforms we truly do need in this country, and should be buried. It is one of the worst pieces of legislation I have examined since being elected to the House. It would destroy the finest quality health care system in the world, undermine the free market, throw Americans out of work, and violate the moral principles of the majority of this country in the process. - As Congress returns this week to grapple, once again, over this thorny issue, pray they be graented WISDOM to do so. Pray, too, for protection from all deceiving and/or hypnotizing influences when the president addresses a Joint Session of Congress on health care Wednesday night. Pray!

11. DEMOCRATS USE KENNEDY LEGACY TO FUND ABORTION HEALTH CARE BILL
Let Us Pray. Almighty God, pray you expose the pro- abortion pro-euthanasia agenda of the Obamacare "health" bill during the President's speech this Wednesday, and confront those who have pounced on the death of Senator Ted Kennedy (who is now pro- life) to push their tax-payer funding for abortions, which America does not want. Lord, we pray you defeat this wicked bill, from 2 Thessalonians 3:2, deliver us from wicked and evil men, and that the righteous would arise and support life, and hinder this bill from ever passing, in Jesus Name, Amen. 12. OBAMA WILL FLY CHINESE COMMUNIST FLAG AT WHITE HOUSE
The national flag of the People's Republic of China (PRC) will be hoisted at the South Lawn of the White House in Washington on September 20, media reported Sunday.
Chinese associations in the United States had applied to hold a ceremony in front of the US President's residence to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC. Chen Ronghua, chairman of Fujian Association of the United States, told reporters that their application was approved not only because of the sound Sino-US relations but also because China is a responsible country. "Many Americans admire China due to the success of last year's Beijing Olympics," said Chen.
More than 1,000 people will attend the ceremony and the performances held after it, according to Zhao Luqun, who will direct the performances. (WorldNetDaily)
- Pray that the Lord intervenes, stopping the display of any flag other than the American flag, any place in Washington, D. C. except possibly one at the Embassy of China. What reason could the president and his advisors and "czars" have for even wanting the flag of another nation being flown from the White House? A quick recall will suggest that China is responsible for the abortions of many female babies and of any more than one child in a family. While there are many Christians in China, it is an atheistic nation, relying on power to rattle its sabers.
