1. Top Fatah Official Calls for 'Escalation' so Israelis Will 'Pay a Heavy Price Every Day' - United With Israel

One of Fatah's top officials, Central Committee member Abbas Zaki, has called for Fatah-Hamas to unite in order to "defeat" Israel, the common "enemy": "If we consolidate our ranks and unify our internal front we will begin to work with an open mind, will, and strategy that are undebatable, then we will certainly defeat our enemy, which is Israel." [Donia Al-Watan, independent Palestinian news agency, Sept. 22, 2019] In response to US Envoy Jason Greenblatt's statements at a UN Security Council Open Debate on the Middle East on July 23, 2019, that the West Bank is "disputed" and not "occupied" territory, Zaki called for escalation "on the ground" - implicitly calling for violence against Israelis - to "not allow the occupiers to live routine lives" but make them pay "a heavy price every day":

"There is no avoiding an escalating policy on the ground with great momentum from the masses, which will not allow the occupiers to live routine lives. Their occupation of our land must have a heavy price, which they will pay every day." [Al-Dustour, Jordanian news website, Sept. 8, 2019]

2. Report: Netanyahu waiting for declaration from Liberman - Israel National News

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is not returning the mandate to form a government to President Rivlin because he is awaiting a public statement by MK Avigdor Liberman (Yisrael Beytenu), according to which Liberman will oppose the establishment of a left-wing government relying on Arab votes from the outside.

Likud officials told Reshet Bet that after Liberman releases such a statement, Netanyahu will return the mandate to the president.

New Right Chairman MK Naftali Bennett last night called on Blue and White Chairman MK Benny Gantz to return to the negotiating table and form a unity government with the Likud, with Prime Minister Netanyahu first in a rotation. ''Under the circumstances created, a broad and equitable national unity government led by Netanyahu and Gantz should be established as soon as possible. Each side will have to compromise."

"In such a government," Bennett noted, "the Right cannot apply Israeli law to Area C as I would like it to. The Left cannot hand over territory. There will be no pro-religious or anti-religious legislation. The government will deal with Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah, reducing the deficit, the state of the hospitals, the atrocious traffic jams, and further strengthening education - with life itself.''

3. Lieberman: Netanyahu is the one working with Arab MKs - Israel Hayom

Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman stressed on Tuesday that the only framework in which he would consider joining a unity government would be if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu broke with the religious-haredi bloc.

During a tour of Herodium National Park outside Jerusalem, Lieberman said, "During Sukkot, it's hard to talk about disputes and arguments. The only conclusion is that we must gather together in a broad, liberation, national unity government. Under the framework I suggested, there is room for everyone."

"As for all sorts of declarations I've heard recently in the media, we'd be very happy to hear from the prime minister that he is breaking up his bloc of haredim and messianics. If he does, we can talk. At any rate, we're still waiting for an answer from the Likud negotiating team about our request to start holding meetings and putting together guidelines acceptable to most of the people of Israel. Unfortunately, we still haven't gotten an answer. We have time and we have patience, [and] we'll wait."

4. Jordanian House of Representative Says Jordan-Israel Peace Treaty Is 'Under Threat' - Christian Headlines

A 1994 peace treaty between the countries of Jordan and Israel is "under threat" according to the speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives and president of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Atef Tarawneh. The Jerusalem Post reported that the speaker believes Israel has violated several provisions in their treaty.

"We in Jordan, who are signatory to a peace treaty with the Israeli occupation government, see today that this peace is under threat, in light of the blatant violation of its terms, especially with the issue of Jerusalem," Tarawneh said.

Tarawneh also targeted America in his comments, claiming that Israel's actions have been encouraged by a "clear bias" from the United States. He also challenged other countries to not move their embassies in Israel to Jerusalem.

Some of the violations stem from two Jordanian nationals Abdurrahman Marei and Heba Al-labadi, who were arrested and held prisoner in Israel. Jordan has attempted to release the prisoners with no alleged cooperation from Israel.

5. 'Entry of radical Islamist forces into northern Syria is disturbing,' ex-Israeli intelligence official says - JNS

(October 15, 2019 / JNS) Israel has been closely monitoring Turkey's brutal offensive against the Kurds in northeast Syria in recent days.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the Turkish invasion on Oct. 10, stating that Israel "warns against the ethnic cleansing of the Kurds by Turkey and its proxies," and that "Israel is prepared to extend humanitarian assistance to the gallant Kurdish people."

However, Israel's concerns with regard to the Turkish operation extend beyond Ankara's conflict with the Kurds.

Israel Defense Forces Brig. Gen. (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser, former head of the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate's research division and director general of Israel's Strategic Affairs Ministry, told JNS that the strengthening of Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated extremist Sunni forces in northeast Syria "should disturb us." He stressed that Turkey had launched its offensive with "problematic, radical forces, who are exploiting the U.S.'s wish to leave this area."

1. Trump Vows to Defend 'Family, Faith, Freedom' at Values Voter Summit - Epoch Times

President Donald Trump roused the crowd at the Values Voter Summit in Washington on Oct. 12, with a focus on protecting religious liberty and traditional values. Trump decried attempts to silence conservative voices through intimidation and social pressure. "They are trying to hound you from the workplace, expel you from the public square, and weaken the American family and indoctrinate our children," he said.

He portrayed the political situation in the country as a fight between traditional values on one side and socialism on the other. "Together, we will stand up to the socialists and we will win massive victories for family, for faith, and for freedom, just like the victory we had in 2016," he said. (Read more)

- Father, we pray decisions of the Trump administration will protect religious liberty and traditional values for generations.

- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. (Deuteronomy 7:9)

2. 125 House Republicans Co-Sponsor Resolution to Censure Schiff - Epoch Times

About 125 House Republicans have signed on to a motion to censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) for his parody readout of a phone called between President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky during a hearing last month.

The resolution was introduced by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), who chairs the House Freedom Caucus. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), and House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) have signed on, Fox News reported.

While it's unlikely the resolution would be passed, as Democrats have control of the House, Republicans could force a vote on the issue. Biggs wrote to Fox News. "[Schiff] has repeatedly shown incredibly poor judgment. He has persistently and consistently demonstrated that he has such a tremendous bias and animus against Trump that he will say anything and accept any proffer of even bogus evidence to try to remove the president from office." (Read more)

- Father, we pray for true whistleblowers to come forward, exposing the corrupt motives and actions involved in this impeachment effort.

- May all who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" be appalled at their own shame. (Psalm 40:14-15)

3. Trump sending Pence to Turkey to 'pursue a ceasefire and negotiated settlement' - Times of Israel

US President Donald Trump on Monday urged his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to "stop the invasion" of Syria, Vice President Mike Pence said. Trump pressed the Turkish leader in a telephone call to "stop the invasion, to enact an immediate ceasefire and to begin negotiations with Kurdish forces in Syria," Pence told reporters, adding that he would be traveling urgently to Turkey at the president's request.

"He's directed me to lead a delegation. I will be leaving as quickly as possible to travel into the region to pursue a ceasefire and negotiated settlement," Pence said. The United States slapped sanctions on Turkey on Monday as it demanded an end to its deadly incursion against Syrian Kurdish fighters, accusing its NATO partner of putting civilians at risk and allowing the release of Islamic State extremists. (Read more)

- Father, we pray Vice President Pence will be very successful in negotiating a ceasefire and settlement between Turkey and Kurdish forces in Syria.

- Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. (Matthew 5:9)

4. US said considering plan to remove nukes from Turkish base near Syrian border - Times of Israel

US officials met in recent days to review plans to remove some 50 nuclear weapons housed under American control at the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey amid growing tensions with Ankara, the New York Times reported Monday.

While the Pentagon does not discuss where it stores nuclear assets, the B61 gravity bombs are believed to be kept at Incirlik as a deterrent to Russia and to demonstrate America's commitment to NATO, the 28-member military alliance that includes Turkey.

"To fly them out of Incirlik would be to mark the de facto end of the Turkish-American alliance. To keep them there, though, is to perpetuate a nuclear vulnerability that should have been eliminated years ago," the paper said. (Read more)

- Father, we pray these nuclear weapons within Turkey will be secured and brought back to territory controlled by the United States.

- If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. (Matthew 10:13)

5. US forces are still conducting ground and air patrols in Syria despite Turkish incursion - Marine Corps Times

U.S. forces in Syria are still conducting ground and air patrols in Syria, according to a coalition U.S. military official. The coalition official told Military Times that the patrols are necessary for the "security" of coalition forces in Syria.

"The ground patrols specifically avoid areas that have active combat operations. Coalition troops remain in Syria to defeat Daesh (ISIS) remnants," the official said. The statement from the U.S. military coalition official came in response to questions posed by Military Times regarding video produced by Syrian opposition news agency SMART of U.S. special operations forces operating in Oshkosh M-ATV armored vehicles about 30 km from the Syrian town of Tal-Abyad. (Read more)

- Father, we ask You to protect each of our soldiers and pray for an end to the conflict in Syria.

- He will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. (Luke 14:32b)

6. Trump OKs $50M to aid Syria amid outrage over US military pullout, Turkish offensive - Fox News

President Trump announced Saturday that he had authorized the release of $50 million in aid to human rights groups and other aid organizations in Syria in an apparent attempt to counter criticism of his pullout of U.S. forces there.

"Other presidents would not be doing that, they'd be spending a lot more money but on things that wouldn't make you happy," Trump said while addressing the Values Voters Summit's Faith, Family and Freedom gala dinner.

"The U.S. condemns the persecution of Christians and we pledge our support to Christians all over," said Trump, who claimed that under the Obama administration, Christians in Syria had "almost no chance" to immigrate legally to the United States and that Muslim Syrians had a much better shot. (Read more)

- Father, we pray this humanitarian aid truly gets to those in need and is used for the purposes intended.

- He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given. (Proverbs 19:17)

7. Project Veritas Exposes CNN's 'Personal Vendetta' Against Trump - Townhall

Over the weekend, James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas team announced that they were working on a series based on information brought to them by an insider at the network.

Most of the top hosts hate Trump. CNN president Jeffrey Zucker hates him as well. Zucker is heard on calls, giving marching orders to focus on impeachment and ignore other stories.

CNN's media coordinator admits that top hosts at the network, Jake Tapper, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, and Chris Cuomo, either hate or strongly dislike the president. (Read more)

- Father, we pray our media companies will be cleansed of bias and corruption and for our people to demand fair and truthful media.

- Truthful lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only for a moment. (Proverbs 12:19)

8. Mexico halts caravan of 2,000 migrants bound for US; critics call roundup a 'human hunt' - Fox News

A caravan of roughly 2,000 migrants bound for the United States early Saturday was halted by Mexican authorities only a few hours into their journey, according to officials. Many of the migrants who departed from Tapachula early in the morning had been held up there for weeks or months, awaiting residency or transit papers from Mexican authorities.

About 24 miles into their journey, federal police and national guardsmen blocked their path. Most of the group was detained and put on a bus back to Tapachula, while about 150 migrants returned by foot, witnesses said.

The abrupt halt of the caravan stood in stark contrast to last year when waves of U.S.-bound caravans - including one of at least 7,000 people - drew widespread media coverage while immigration officials on both sides of the border struggled to stem the flow. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for the cooperation of Mexico in reducing the migration to our southern border and pray these actions will discourage people from leaving their homes and families.

- Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers.
(Proverbs 4:14)

9. Immigration Enforcement Fattens Wages of American Workers - Breitbart

Companies are meeting the labor demands "by paying overtime and shipping [distant American] workers in and out," says the Reuters article written by Andrew Hay under the headline "'Broken system' starves U.S. oil boom of immigrant workers."

Reuters hides the good news for blue-collar Americans, and it prefers to comfort the afflicted business owners who want to hire cheaper foreign workers: "The [oil drilling companies] are demanding more rigs, more swabbing units, but you don't have enough employees," said Vega, who runs Mico Services with around $17 million in annual revenues. "It's a lack of a system to get legal workers, to have more of a workforce to pull from."

"It's now getting very difficult here for anyone who isn't documented," said Juan, an unemployed pipeline worker who immigrated to the United States illegally 11 years ago. He asked that his last name not be used to protect his identity. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the hard-working men and women of our nation will receive the prosperity due them as they build up their companies and communities.

-Then the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors. (Deuteronomy 30:9)

10. Whistleblower: Google Partners with China on 'AI Manhattan Project' - Breitbart

Former Google senior software developer and whistleblower Zach Vorhies discussed Google's relationship with Communist China and the company's artificial intelligence project DeepMind, which has been called the "AI Manhattan Project."

"Google bought this AI company called DeepMind," Vorhies [said]. "Let me just put it in plain language what that is, DeepMind was creating a god-like AI system that is able to ingest the available public information on the internet and make sense of it. This AI system was moved out of the UK I believe and placed into China, and it's been dubbed the AI Manhattan Project."

Vorhies continued: "Peter Thiel - he accused Google of acting in a treasonous way. This is how serious this project is. It's the most sophisticated and advanced AI project in the world made by an American company and placed in China." (Read more)

- Father, we pray this project, DeepMind, will fail completely and bring harm to no one.

- We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. (1 John 5:18)

End time players in Syria--is the end near?

The last three presidents' foreign policy decisions have caused turmoil in the Middle East-Iraq invasion by Bush; Arab Spring by Obama; and now Turkey invasion by Trump. All helped Russia, Syria and Iran continue to gain an edge. The Trump move also helps Turkey and coalesces a prophetic force.

In Daniel 8:19, Gabriel says, "Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be. The ram which you saw having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. And the rough goat is the king of Grecia." Strong's Concordance interprets the word "Grecia" in Hebrew as "Yavan, a son of Japheth (the third son of Noah), his descendants and their land." The Genesis 10 table of nations indicates this area was not only Greece (as Bible interpretations imply), but also the Eastern Mediterranean, including parts of modern Turkey (Magog, Tubal, Meshech). The ram would correspond with modern Iran.
According to the prophet Isaiah (17:1), "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap." Many point to this verse to speculate when and how Damascus will be destroyed. There has been a lot of talk that this is the time that perhaps Isaiah's prophecy will be fulfilled. Damascus, after all, is hardly a city nowadays. It is maintaining a heartbeat after years of civil war and fighting that includes various al Qaeda terrorist groups, Hezbollah from Iran, Russian interests, American interests, Turkey, the Islamic State, and, of course the Assad government. Ezekiel 38 says that in the end of days, God will put a hook in Gog of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (all in Turkey), to lead a coalition of Persia (Iran), Libya; and Ethiopia (Sudan) against Israel.

The ingredients for the end time battle are amassing, but a careful read of the scriptures in their context would reveal that the end is not yet. The words "in that day" and "on that day" are significant because they correspond to the Day of the Lord, such as Gabriel's interpretation saying "for at the time appointed the end shall be." These current events are bringing together many of the end-time players, but according to the prophets, it is not yet the end. There are many events Jesus describes in Matthew 24 that must occur. Another consideration is that in all the prophets' descriptions of these wars and battles, it is God, not men, who destroys Israel's enemies: Isaiah 17:7 and Ezekiel 38:23 both say that men will know their maker and nations shall know "that I am the Lord." Keep watching and praying. These are prophetic times.

Typhoon Hagibis death toll rises to 72 as thousands are left stranded in the cold without power

The death toll from Typhoon Hagibis has risen to 72 in Japan, as thousands of residents remain without power or water and evening temperatures hover around 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit), according to public broadcaster NHK.

The storm -- one of the strongest to hit the country in years -- made landfall on Saturday evening local time on the Izu Peninsula, southwest of Tokyo, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

On Tuesday, the arduous search for survivors continued in flood-hit areas. A total of 110,000 personnel have been deployed from the fire department, self-defense force and police, as well as 110 helicopters, to aid in search and rescue efforts, according to Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga. Most Significant New Archaeological Site In Modern History'

Early Jewish, Christian and Bedouin traditions have long attested this site to be the real Mount Sinai. The controversial theory contests the traditional location in the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula. Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government.
