1. Lapid presents party's plan for running the country - Israel Hayom

Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid unveiled his party's new seven-point plan on Sunday, telling hundreds of supporters that he considered himself a viable candidate for prime minister.

The event comes on the heels of new polls showing that if a new election was called, Lapid's party would win more seats than Likud to become the largest faction in the Knesset. The party with the most seats usually gets the first shot at forming a government.

Lapid said his seven points were security, strategic alliances, regional diplomacy, overhauling and cleaning up politics, bolstering law enforcement, stimulating the economy, and promoting science and education. (Read more)

2, Netanyahu fires back at critics of US military aid deal - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rebuffed criticism of a $38 billion, 10-year military aid agreement between Jerusalem and Washington signed last week, accusing "interested parties" of spreading disinformation and showing ingratitude toward Washington.

"I hear all kinds of background noise and disinformation about the agreement," he said at Sunday's weekly cabinet meeting. "I would like to make it clear: We were never offered more. We were not offered more money, not even one dollar, and we were never offered special technologies." (Read more)

3. Netanyahu, Police Commander Order Immediate Bolstering of Forces in Israeli Capital After Latest Palestinian Stabbing Attack - Algemeiner

In the wake of Monday's Palestinian stabbing attack in Jerusalem - which left a female Israeli police officer critically wounded and a male colleague in moderate condition - a decision was taken to bolster security immediately, rather than waiting until the upcoming Jewish High Holidays, Israel's Channel 2 reported.

According to the report, the decision was reached by Jerusalem District Police Commander Yoram Halevy at an emergency meeting after the attack - the seventh since Friday - and following a similar discussion the previous day that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conducted with security officials. 4. Opposition assails Netanyahu for playing politics over Shabbat crisis - Jerusalem Post

A torrent of denunciations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was unleashed Monday in a special recess debate in the Knesset to discuss the recent transportation crisis after railway maintenance work was halted on Shabbat.

Earlier this month, approximately 150,000 commuters were caught in a traffic and transportation maelstrom, as the country's busiest train line, Tel Aviv to Haifa, was shut down on a Sunday for maintenance that was originally scheduled for Shabbat.

During the Knesset debate, prompted by a request of more than 25 MKs, four motions were proposed accusing the government and the prime minister of abandoning their responsibilities to the public. (Read more)

5. Israel opens NATO mission in Brussels - Israel National News

Israel on Monday formally opened a mission at NATO headquarters in Brussels, aiming to step up ties with an alliance led by its staunchest supporter, the United States. The move, under discussion for several years, was announced in June as key NATO member Turkey normalized ties with Israel after severe strains with a once close regional ally.

Israel's ambassador to the European Union Aharon Leshno-Yaar presented his credentials to NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg on Friday, the Israeli embassy said in a statement. The two men discussed a new Joint Action Plan between Israel and the alliance, it said, without giving any details. (Read more)

6. Allah Has Promised Us White House, Kremlin: Palestinian Cleric - Breaking Israel News

The Muslim call to prayer will be heard from atop the White House and the Kremlin, thundered a Palestinian cleric in an address to worshippers at Jerusalem's al Aqsa mosque last week.

"We shall shout Allahu Akbar (God is Great in Arabic) from there," the cleric, Abdallah Ayed, assured his audience. "Allah has promised both places to us!" (Read more)

1. Netanyahu, Obama to meet in New York on Wednesday - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama are scheduled to meet on Wednesday in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting, diplomatic officials confirmed Sunday.

According to the officials, the meeting will take place at the hotel where Obama will be staying. Both men will be in the city to address the UN General Assembly. Obama is scheduled to address the gathering on Tuesday, the day Netanyahu leaves for New York, and Netanyahu is set to address the assembly on Thursday.

This will be the first meeting between the two leaders since last November, and is expected to be the last face-to-face meeting between the two before Obama leaves office in January. (Read more)

- Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we pray for Your covering and protection over all diplomats in New York this week, especially President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu. We pray Netanyahu will resist any pressure to say or do anything against the interests of Israel and her people.

- "Therefore at such a time the prudent person keeps silent, for it is an evil time. Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and thus may the Lord God of hosts be with you, just as you have said!" (Amos 5:13-14)

2. Franklin Graham Issues National Call to Prayer Following Third Attack in 12 Hours - Charisma News

"Join me in praying for the injured and for the families of victims. And pray for law enforcement as they try to find those guilty of being involved in these atrocities and as they continue to serve to protect us," Graham posted.

The Islamic State claimed the Minnesota mall stabber was a soldier for ISIS. Law enforcement officials are now investigating the two bombings as linked. "Just because you have one thing in common, doesn't mean the devices are similar," one official told ABC News. Graham says he believes the way to halt terrorism starts in the Oval Office. "One thing is for sure-our next president needs to be someone who is tough on terrorism," Graham said. (Read more)

- Yes, Lord, we come into full agreement with Reverend Franklin Graham in praying for the families of the victims and for law enforcement to find these perpetrators. We pray for a chorus of prayer to be lifted up from the heart of our country as we all look to You as the Omniscient God of the Universe.

We seek Your forgiveness for our great sins and seek Your mercy as the enemy assaults us in our cities. We pray that this call to prayer will spread throughout the US and that all who hear will heed its serious cause. We pray that the next President will indeed be a strong person who will stand in Your strength against terrorism in all forms in our land. Thank You, Lord Jesus!

- "Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord." (Joel 1:14)

3. Investigators look for link in weekend triple attacks - watch.org

U.S. investigators on Sunday were studying possible links between a pair of bombs detonated in New York City and New Jersey over the weekend, although no evidence had yet emerged tying the devices to known extremist groups.

The country was shaken by a trio of attacks over the weekend including a Saturday night bombing that injured 29 in Manhattan and a stabbing attack at a Minnesota shopping mall that wounded nine.

While officials described all three as deliberate, criminal acts and were investigating them as potential "acts of terrorism," they stopped short of characterizing the motivation behind any of them until more evidence is uncovered. (Read more)

- Dear Lord, You know all things and we trust You to give these investigative teams the wisdom and knowledge to search every possible means to find the culprits, the motives, and all associates in these despicable acts. Thank You for detectives that will not be influenced by political correctness or predetermined ideas. Lord, bring all things to light as only You can. We seek Your face as we struggle with the enemy within our gates.

- "For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light." (Mark 4:22)

4. Policy of "See Something, Say Something" Helps Police Nab Weekend Bombing Terror Suspect - Breaking Christian News

According to news reports, Ahmad Khan Rahami, a 28-year-old Afghan-born man is now in police custody and being treated at a hospital following a shootout prior to his arrest in Linden, NJ. Rahami is the main suspect in connection with the multiple bombings in NJ and NY this past weekend.

Police were clued in to Rahami's whereabouts sometime after a cell phone alert had gone out to all New York and New Jersey residents in the area, which included his photo. The owner of a bar in Linden noticed a man sleeping in the doorway of his establishment and called police.

When an officer woke the sleeping man, he began firing a gun he'd been holding. According to reports he took off running with police in pursuit. A shootout ensued during which Rahami was injured, and taken into custody for treatment and questioning.

The officers who were injured during the shootout with the suspect are expected to be alright, according to the Mayor of Elizabeth, NJ. (Read more)

- Bless You, Lord, for the apprehension of this suspect. Bless You, Lord, that law enforcement departments were able to cooperate to send out an alert with a description and a photo of this terrorist in short order. Bless You, Lord, that alert citizens were able to give critical information that led to this man's capture. We pray that Americans will continue to be alert to any and all signs of potential terrorism and not be too intimidated to report suspicious activity. Make Your people bold as a lion!

- "The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion." (Proverbs 28:1)

5. ISIS Supporters Rush To Celebrate NYC Explosion - Vocativ.com

Supporters of the Islamic State rushed to celebrate Saturday night's powerful explosion in New York's Chelsea neighborhood that injured at least 29 people, even as no group or individual has been arrested or claimed responsibility.

"The lions of the Caliphate roar in New York, we cause you pain inside your house, the carrier of the Cross," wrote one Twitter user who went by the name "I am ISIS, come and block me." The account was soon suspended. Another, called "The Lone Wolves," tweeted with the Arabic hashtag #ExplosionManhattanNewYork "Oh God burn America, take revenge in the name of your oppressed slaves and believers' blood."

Others tweeted about "good tidings that keep coming" from New York, and one user affiliated with al-Qaeda in Syria tweeted: "Oh God go against America, the head of infidels. Oh God, count them and kill them one by one, and do not spare anyone of them."(Read more)

- Abba Father God, we read these words, and we weep. Holy God, these ones are so lost in darkness and each one so desperately needs to know of Your love, Your truth, and Your salvation. We cancel all these words by the authority of the Blood of the Lamb, and as You have done, we ask You to forgive them, for they know not what they do. We lay axe to the root of this hysteria, and we claim each life for Christ, in Your name, amen.

- "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)

6. ISIS moving from Christian persecution to Christian 'extermination' - Christian Daily

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has now moved from persecuting Christians to trying to exterminate them, according to a prominent advocate for refugees.

Dr. Georgette Bennett, who founded the Multifaith Alliance for Syrian Refugees, warned that ISIS is now targeting Christians as a group. The advocate, who is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, said failing to address the threat adequately could worsen the refugee crisis, Christian Today (CT) relays. "We have now moved from Christians being persecuted to Christians being exterminated," said Bennett. "We Jews - I am a Jew - we understand something about extermination. I think we recognise a genocide when we see it."

In a conversation with CT, Bennett said Britain could create problems if it does not do more to help the persecuted Christians in Syria. She warned that not rescuing children who have not been attending school for years makes them vulnerable to radicalization. "By leaving millions of people in limbo for years we are creating a population that has nothing left to lose," Bennett added. (Read more)

- Father, we pray Christians around the world will come to the aid of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us present a unified voice and effort on their behalf.

- "Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need."
(Acts 2:44-45)

7. Gasoline shortages, price hikes coming to East Coast after pipeline leak - money.cnn.com

A section of the Colonial Pipeline, which runs from Houston to New York, has been closed since Sept. 9 after a spill of roughly 250,000 gallons was discovered in rural Shelby County, Ala. The major pipeline, one pipe of which has been severed, provides gasoline for an estimated 50 million people on the East Coast each day, according to company estimates. The cause of the leak has yet to be determined, according to the company's most recent statement.

The pipeline's operator has said full service will not be restored until at least next week. The closure has set off an industry-wide scramble as suppliers seek alternative ways to transport gasoline to the East Coast. A pipeline operator said that based on its current projections, parts of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina will be the first markets to suffer potential supply disruptions. "You're going to see some places without gasoline," he said. "It's like a mini-hurricane."

The governors of Alabama and Georgia have already declared states of emergency. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray this shortage would be a reminder not to overly depend upon our worldly systems. Help the investigators find out how this happened and prevent further breaks in the future.

- "Who is among you that fears the Lord, that obeys the voice of His servant, that walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God." (Isaiah 50:10)

8. N.C. drops 'bathroom bill' lawsuit: Why that won't settle the issue - CSMonitor

When a new North Carolina law limiting protections for LGBT people drew fire last spring from critics who described it as an unnecessary "bathroom bill" that violates the rights of transgender people, the state sued the federal government. Gov. Pat McCrory dropped that lawsuit Friday, but the matter is far from settled, as a debate over the rights of transgender Americans rages nationwide.

On the same day that North Carolina sued the federal government, the federal government sued North Carolina, alleging its new law, House Bill 2, constitutes sex-based discrimination in education and employment in violation of three federal laws. That case, filed by the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, remains active.

In dropping the state's lawsuit, Gov. McCrory's attorneys noted that the arguments North Carolina raised as plaintiff will be raised again as defendant in the DOJ's suit. They cited cost-savings for the state and time-savings for the court as reasons to drop the complaint, in light of the DOJ's "largely duplicative" action. Furthermore, the DOJ's lawsuit has been consolidated with a related suit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and others. (Read more)

- Creator of all, we plead with You to intervene and re-establish Godly identity within the hearts and minds of our people.

- He doesn't know what he is doing; his confused mind leads him the wrong way. He cannot save himself or say, "This statue I am holding is a false god." (Isaiah 44:20)

9. Dallas cop files lawsuit against Black Lives Matter, Obama - Fox News

A Dallas Police sergeant filed a lawsuit on Friday against Black Lives Matter and its supporters, alleging the group is inciting a race war. Sgt. Demetrick Pennie, a 17-year veteran of the force, is seeking between $500 million and $1.5 billion in the complaint filed in federal court, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The defendants in the class-action suit include Black Lives Matter; President Obama; Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton; the Rev. Al Sharpton; Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and billionaire activist George Soros.

"Defendants incite people to violence and cause violence by telling those people that they are under attack. Defendants are encouraging disaffected blacks, Black Muslims, Muslims and others allied with them including certain whites to ignore, disrespect, and assault law enforcement officials, and commit violence and lethal force," the lawsuit states, according to the paper.

The lawsuit alleges the defendants "have repeatedly incited their supporters and others to engage in threats of and attacks to cause serious bodily injury or death upon police officers and other law enforcement persons of all races and ethnicities."

Pennie, who is black, is being represented by Larry Klayman, founder of the organization Freedom Watch. "The defendants, if not legally reined in, are allegedly responsible, along with others, for igniting a race war that will ultimately totally destroy the freedoms that our Founding Fathers bequeathed to us," Klayman said in a press release. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, we pray for peace in our land - the peace only You can bring - the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus. May our people repent and turn to You to be healed of racial division.

- For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, "May peace be within you." For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.
(Psalm 122:8-9)

10. Putin's party dominates at Russia parliament vote - Yahoo News

Moscow (AFP) - President Vladimir Putin's ruling United Russia party on Sunday cruised to an easy victory at parliamentary elections, exit polls showed, despite the longest economic crisis of his 16-year rule.

The ballot for the 450-seat State Duma appeared to have been smooth sailing for authorities desperate to avoid a repeat of mass protests last time round and could now pave the way for Putin to glide to a fourth term as president at elections set for 2018.

But indications of a low turnout appeared to show that many Russians may be turned off by a system in which the Kremlin wields near-total power and could raise questions over legitimacy.

"We can announce already with certainty that the party secured a good result, that it won," Putin said after the vote. "The situation is tough and difficult but the people still voted for United Russia." (Read more)

- Lord God, as we read this report, we see that perhaps Putin's presidency is not as strong as it first seems to be. We walk in truth, Abba God, and we ask great wisdom for our own leaders as the "bear" of Russia continues to flex its muscles before the world. As Your watchmen, we commit to keeping a careful eye upon all that is happening now in Russia, and we ask for Your Hand of protection to rest upon the saints that are there. In Your Name, amen.

- "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 11:15)

The New Normal -Terror in the US

As a judgment on a nation that behaved in many ways like the United States is today, God said in Jeremiah 51:14, "Surely I will fill thee with men, as with locusts, and they shall raise a battle cry against thee." While the US is not Babylon, and it has not completely turned its back on the Lord by taking great joy in persecuting the children of Israel, US leaders have blindly allowed the enemies of Israel their head. The consequences of such are being seen in this nation at an increasing and alarming rate-Islamic terrorism on American soil. The weekend, with a terrorist attack in a Minnesota shopping mall and pipe bombs in New York City, may become the new normal for Americans. And we must begin to deal with it.

AP reports, "A man in a private security uniform stabbed nine people at a Minnesota shopping mall, reportedly asking one victim if he or she was Muslim before an off-duty police officer shot and killed him in an attack the Islamic State group claimed as its own...An Islamic State-run news agency, Rasd, claimed Sunday that the attacker was a "soldier of the Islamic State" who had heeded the group's calls for attacks in countries that are part of a U.S.-led anti-IS coalition." AP and authorities are downplaying the incident by saying it is uncertain that the IS planned the attack. Nonetheless, its proximity to Minneapolis, where a large population of Islamic Somalia refugees is settled, seems more than coincidental.

In New York City, Vocativ reports, "Supporters of the Islamic State rushed to celebrate Saturday night's powerful explosion in New York's Chelsea neighborhood that injured at least 29 people, even as no group or individual has been arrested or claimed responsibility. "The lions of the Caliphate roar in New York, we cause you pain inside your house, the carrier of the Cross," wrote one Twitter user who went by the name "I am ISIS, come and block me." The account was soon suspended. Another, called "The Lone Wolves," tweeted with the Arabic hashtag #ExplosionManhattanNewYork "Oh God burn America, take revenge in the name of your oppressed slaves and believers' blood.""

There was another backpack with five bombs in it found near an Elizabeth City, NJ train station. Authorities are trying to determine if there is a link between all the New York area bombs. The New York Post's Paul Sperry wrote in June, "America has now averaged one serious Islamic terrorist attack a year on [sic] the president's watch, yet he still insists the threat from radical Islam is overblown and that he's successfully protecting the nation." Add those over the weekend to the list and we are beginning to see a new normal for America-one of internal violence, death and destruction. Let us be reminded that the current Administration and the Democratic Party candidate for president seek to continue the policies that have facilitated this phenomena.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Terrorism on the eve of UN refugee summit

Yet Another Islamic terror attack in New York City with both deadly and symbolic significance. It came on the eve of a first ever United Nations Summit about refugees-the very ones that among them have been found terrorists spreading death and destruction to their host nations. The UN says, "This is the first time the General Assembly has called for a summit at the Heads of State and Government level on large movements of refugees and migrants...It is a watershed moment to strengthen governance of international migration and a unique opportunity for creating a more responsible, predictable system for responding to large movements of refugees and migrants." Has it turned into a showcase for terrorism?

In addition, the facilitator of the historic Islamic immigration movement in America, none other than the US "president," will host a sister event following the UN Summit. The UN website says, "Also on the margins of the General Assembly, on 20 September 2016, the United States President [name redacted] is hosting the Leaders' Summit on Refugees, alongside co-hosts Canada, Ethiopia, Germany, Jordan, Mexico and Sweden, which will appeal to governments to pledge significant new commitments on refugees. While the Leaders' Summit will focus on refugees, not migrants, the General Assembly High-Level Summit will address large movements of both. The two events will complement one another."

The Islamic State has provided an appropriate backdrop for highlighting the results of such reckless foreign policy of allowing unscreened Islamic "refugees" unfettered entry into a nation. Terrorism in the US is a small indicator of the larger scale terrorism and Islamic colonization seen across Europe. Yet, the UN is not concerned about the problem of terrorism perpetrated by Islamic refugees and migrants. It is concerned about securing those refugee's and migrant's human rights in the countries they are entering. The theme listed on the UN website is "Stand with refugees and Migrants. Protect their rights." The site says that forced migration has caused an international crisis and that rights must be protected.

Herein, the UN and its members, including the US leadership and its Islamic refugee policy (which Hillary Clinton ardently supports; Donald Trump ardently opposes) have created the very problem they now seek to solve. What about the rights of the people in the countries where these "refugees and migrants" are plying their deadly trade? We know that a one world order will someday violently persecute all Christians and Jews. When we see the actions of the UN, it reminds us of how misguided and ungodly things can become-all in the name of good intentions. The Apostle Paul wrote of the perilous times of the last days. 2 Timothy 3:13 says, "But evil men shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." Securing the rights of those who trample the rights of the innocent in the name of human rights is an example.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Appeals Court Upholds Prayer Before North Carolina Commissioners

September 19, 2016

Today, the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 in favor of Rowan County, North Carolina county commissioners in a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) challenging their constitutional right to open their meetings with prayer.

This ruling by the appeals court reversed an earlier decision by North Carolina's U.S. Middle District Court that claimed Rowan County's commissioners' prayers at the beginning of each meeting were unconstitutional. In May, U.S. District Judge James Beaty held that the Rowan commissioners violated the First Amendment's Establishment Clause, which bans government endorsement of a single religion. Between 2007 and 2013, the commissioners who delivered prayers were all Christians. However, the appeals court found it insignificant that only Christian prayers were provided before meetings.

FACE TO FACE WITH CHRIST, MY SAVIOR

"Now we see but a poor reflection . . . then we shall see face to face." (1 Corinthians 13:12)

Lyrics

Face to face with Christ, my Savior, Face to face-what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ Who died for me?

Refrain

Face to face I shall behold Him,
Far beyond the starry sky;
Face to face in all His glory,
I shall see Him by and by!

Only faintly now I see Him, With the darkened veil between, But a blessèd day is coming, When His glory shall be seen.

Refrain

What rejoicing in His presence, When are banished grief and pain; When the crooked ways are straightened, And the dark things shall be plain.

Refrain

Face to face-oh, blissful moment! Face to face-to see and know; Face to face with my Redeemer, Jesus Christ Who loves me so.

'A-BOMB' SPRITE OVER THE CARIBBEAN

Yesterday, Frankie Lucena of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, photographed an enormous 'A-bomb' sprite over the Carribean Sea. For a split-second, the sky lit up like this.

Oscar van der Velde, a member of the Lightning Research Group at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, explains what Lucena phtographed:

"This type of sprite is often called 'jellyfish' or 'A-bomb,' and ranks as the largest type of sprite in both horizontal and vertical dimensions," he says. "It consists of a bright halo approximately 85 km above Earth's surface surrounding sprite elements with long tendrils reaching down as low as ~30 km above ground level."

"This kind of sprite tends to be triggered by a very impulsive positive cloud-to-ground flash," van der Velde adds.
The curious thing is, Lucena did not observe an instigating lightning bolt. Instead, just before the sprite appeared, he recorded a bright point-like flash of light. "Was it a cosmic ray hitting the camera?" wonders Lucena. Play the entire video to see the flash. Another possibility: The point-like flash could have been a cloud-to-ground strike mostly eclipsed by intervening clouds.
If Lucena did photograph something new triggering a sprite, perhaps it shouldn't come as a big surprise. The field is relatively new. Although sprites have been seen for at least a century, most scientists did not believe they existed until after 1989 when sprites were photographed by cameras onboard the space shuttle. There is still much to learn . . . (Spaceweather.com)

How Lou Engle's "ANNA Call" Could Shift America before the Presidential Election: Proof That Prayers Never Die

A prophetic picture arrived in my email last week. Captured only a few weeks ago in our nation's National Archives, the photo reveals a small but remarkable discovery. It made no headlines, but wound around a wooden spool and bound with red fabric in the official government fashion of the day, the scroll depicted in this picture was determined to be a petition of signatures presented to Congress in 1881. Such directly submitted petitions were almost never read or acted upon. Instead, they remained "bound" with red tape, often tabled indefinitely. Worse, faced with frigid D.C. winters, clerks frequently used them for firewood.

But not this one.

This one is marked with 32,000 signatures from citizens who were interceding on behalf of Native Americans for the pain and many injustices they had endured. In this photo, you are looking at 135-years of unanswered prayer; bound, yes, but also preserved. And now, rediscovered.

Written inside, the petition states that "by unanimous consent ... 32,000 citizens of the United States" were "praying for Congressional legislation to prevent the encroachment of white settlers on Indian reservations, and that the treaties with the Indians be faithfully executed."
