3. Massive "demand for tickets" to Netanyahu speech, Boehner says
- CBS News

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said the White House has "attacked" him and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the Netanyahu's planned address to Congress Tuesday in which he is expected to criticize international negotiations over Iran's nuclear program.

"The demand for seats in the House, the demand for tickets, I've never seen anything like it. Everybody wants to be there," Boehner said. "What I do wonder is why the White House feels threatened because the Congress wants to support Israel and wants to hear what a trusted ally has to say. It has been, frankly, remarkable to me, the extent to which, over the last five or six weeks, the White House has attacked the Prime Minister, attacked me, for wanting to hear from one of our closest allies." (Read more)

- Abba Father God, we rejoice at the point of tears over this report. Praise You, Lord, that so many of our citizens so strongly support Israel, and are so eager to hear the Prime Minister, first hand. We pray, too, that the prime minister received a standing ovation and an absolutely warm welcome from Congress!!! In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

The speech which, is being delivered on March 3 at the invitation of Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner, has faced waves of criticism. (Read more)

1. Kerry defends Israel before UN rights panel - Times of Israel

US Secretary of State John Kerry on Monday delivered a vigorous defense of Israel before the UN Human Rights Council, urging its members to end what the United States says is its unfair and biased focus on the Jewish State that could undermine its credibility. His remarks came as the Obama administration attempts to blunt complaints that it has not been strong enough in its support for Israel, criticism now centered on its pursuit of a nuclear deal with Iran.

Even as a bitter US-Israel dispute over a possible Iran deal was expected to heat up in Washington later Monday, Kerry affirmed America's steadfast commitment to its top Mideast ally and called on the council to take a more balanced approach toward Israel. The council frequently targets Israel for criticism in resolutions and investigations, notably over military action it has taken against Palestinian fighters in Gaza. A new report commissioned by the council about last year's Gaza war is expected to be released later this month. (Read more)

2. Ahead of Netanyahu speech, Kerry warns against revealing details of Iran nuke talks -YNET News

US Secretary of State John Kerry is warning that public discussion of details of the ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran will make it more difficult to reach a deal that prevents the country from developing atomic weapons.

In comments to reporters in Geneva on Monday, Kerry said he was concerned by reports that some details of the talks would be revealed in coming days. He did not elaborate, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will speak in opposition to a potential Iran deal in an address to Congress on Tuesday.

Israeli officials say Netanyahu plans to discuss elements of the negotiations that he finds problematic and dangerous to Israel. Although Kerry did not identify Netanyahu as someone who might talk about details of the negotiations, he strongly hinted that was the case. (Read more)

4. US envoy Power: There will never be a sunset on America's commitment to Israel - Jerusalem Post

WASHINGTON - The United States may have policy differences with Israel on Iran and its nuclear program, but its commitment to Israel's security will never falter, US ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee on Monday.

Addressing over 16,000 assembled AIPAC delegates, Power, one of two senior representatives of the Obama administration sent to the conference, was warmly received amid tensions between Washington and Jerusalem over a pending conclusion in the nuclear talks.

Referencing reports that the US has proposed to Iran a sunset on specific provisions of a comprehensive agreement, which would ultimately ease after a ten-year period, Power suggested such a deal would not compromise America's commitment to preventing Iran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons.

"There will never be a sunset to America's commitment to Israel's security. Never," Power said. (Read more)

A prophetic type of Esther warning America

The visit of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could very well have extraordinary prophetic impact on America. In Zechariah 12 and 13, the Lord is speaking of "in that day" which is the Day of the Lord when he has returned and is setting things right on earth. The Lord says in 12:9 "I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." Since Israel was reborn in 1948, the US has been its staunchest ally. That has changed with the current White House. Netanyahu's visit to the US during Purim this week may be a significant prophetic warning to America against the US "president's" support of a nuclear Iran.

. . . This White House has been excusing Iran's nuclear development since it took office. On May 5, 2009, then White House Chief of Staff Rham Emanuel said, "Israel now faces a moment of truth--it can either acquiesce to international demands and in return have its most serious threats dealt with, or maintain the status quo and have those threats persist." Emanuel was saying that the White House would ignore Iran's nuclear threat, if Israel did not buckle to demands over a Palestinian state. In his June 4, 2009 speech in Cairo, the "president" said, "No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons. . . And any nation--including Iran--should have the right to access peaceful nuclear power if it complies with its responsibilities under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty."

The "president" is of Islam--born and raised. He knows that the "peace of Islam" means bringing all nations into submission to Islam. That is the genesis of Iran"s (modern day Persia) campaign for "peaceful" nuclear use. Netanyahu's visit to the US to plead for Israel's well-being during the week of Purim should be a prophetic warning to all who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Israel Has A Strong Voice

Israel Has A Strong Voice

I was at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's (AIPAC) annual policy conference this morning with 15,000 people cheering Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. As he began his remarks, Netanyahu identified a few people who were present, including President Milos Zeman of the Czech Republic. I was struck by the historical significance of Zeman's attendance.

In the 1930s, Czechoslovakia was offered up as a sacrificial lamb by world leaders eager to satiate Adolf Hitler. It did not work. Today there are those who would do it again, but this time the lamb would be Israel.

In the 1930s Czechoslovakia wasn't strong enough to speak loudly enough. As Prime Minister Netanyahu noted, today Israel is strong. The prime minister said:

"For 2000 years, my people, the Jewish people, were stateless, defenseless, voiceless. . . . We suffered relentless persecution and horrific attacks. We could never speak on our own behalf, and we could not defend ourselves. Well, no more, no more.

"The days when the Jewish people are passive in the face of threats to annihilate us, those days are over. . . . Today, we have a voice. And tomorrow, as prime minister of the one and only Jewish state, I plan to use that voice."

SPECIAL NOTICE: We are less than a few hours away from Prime Minister Netanyahu's much-anticipated address before Congress. Thousands of you have answered my call to pray for Israel and its leader. I hope many more will do so today.

Click here to pledge to pray that Prime Minister Netanyahu's warnings about a nuclear-armed Iran will be heard from one end of Pennsylvania Avenue to the other. (Gary Bauer)

WE ARE NO LONGER SILENT

'NO MORE... THOSE DAYS ARE OVER... WE ARE NO LONGER SILENT... WE HAVE A VOICE'

Prime Minister of Israel Binyamin Netanyahu statement at AIPAC on 3/2/2015

(Excerpts follow)

To listen to this speech, go here.

At 1:29:31 - 1:30:12
'For 2000 years my people, the Jewish people, were stateless, defenseless, voiceless.

We were utterly powerless against our enemies who swore to destroy us.

We suffered relentless persecution and horrific attacks.

We could never speak in our own behalf and we could not defend ourselves.

Well, no more!

No more!

The days when the Jewish people are passive in the face of threats to annihilate us . . .

those days are over!'
1:31:34 - 1:31:51
'Today we are no longer silent.

Today we have a voice.

And tomorrow, tomorrow as Prime Minister of the one and only Jewish State,

I plan to use that voice.'

We are seeing an historic moment unprecedented in our lifetimes... send this out far and wide... let us do our part.

Time to watch... and pray...

A comment from one of our Prayer Partners:

"My husband and I both picked up the VOICE piece as being VERY significant in Bibi's speech today. We have a VOICE so we don't need or want the American organization ONE VOICE to be sounding off against us. The Lord will be speaking in Congress tomorrow. The White House and the world had better be watching and listening carefully."

AMEN!

Please Pray for P.M. Netanyahu

Please Pray for P.M. Netanyahu

> > > We have received these prayer requests from Christian Friends of Israel in Jerusalem. We welcome and stand in agreement with these points of intercession, in advance of the address of the Prime Minister of Israel later today, before a Joint Session of the United States Congress. Amen.

Let's Enter the Throne Room and Pray:

Pray that Prime Minister Netanyahu, will receive strength and courage from God not to bow or back down. May his trip to Washington be one of truth in order to awaken those who slumber in dark and dangerous times.

Cry out to the Lord fervently that he will not come under attack (as Mordecai also came under attack by some). Mordecai was held in high esteem by many of his brothers but not "all" of them. (Esther 10:3).

Ask the Lord to keep politics from prevailing and that only truth will prevail during this important historical speech.

Intercede for for the US Congress to welcome the Prime Minister and that he might move the hearts of all those with righteous hearts and consciences in the political realm today in America. "I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication." (Psalm 142:1, KJV).

Beseech the Lord for wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 8:11, 35) to come forth from the lips of the Prime Minister and that he will know he doing the right thing for his nation and people, not wavering in his decision to speak truth at this time to the world arena of nations. "How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver" (Proverbs 16:16).

Pray for his safety, security and protection at all times and that no harm or danger come near him at anytime.

Pray that the Lord will be with him from the time of departure from Israel until he returns home to Israel.
