1. Key Obamacare Mandate Delayed for One Year - Fox News
The Obama administration announces it is delaying a major provision in the health care overhaul, putting off until 2015 a requirement that many employers offer health insurance. (Read more)
- Father, thank You for this delay which will benefit small businesses. During this delay, we pray a workable plan that will benefit employers and employees will come forth. Give wisdom and knowledge to those working on these issues. May they put aside politics and decide with fairness what is best for employers and employees.
- May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice. Let the mountains bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness. May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy and crush the oppressor. (Psalm 72:1-5)
2. GOP Renews Call for Obamacare Repeal - Newsmax
The Obama administration's move to delay until 2015 a requirement that employers offer health insurance or else face stiff penalties is yet another indication that the embattled law is a failure and should be repealed, Republicans and conservatives said on Tuesday.
"The president's healthcare law is already raising costs and costing jobs," House Speaker John Boehner said. "This announcement means even the Obama administration knows the 'train wreck' will only get worse. "I hope the administration recognizes the need to release American families from the mandates of this law as well," the Ohio Republican said. "This is a clear acknowledgment that the law is unworkable, and it underscores the need to repeal the law and replace it with effective, patient-centered reforms." (Read more)
- May the words spoken by John Boehner come to pass in regards to releasing American families from the mandates of this law. May this administration humble themselves by acknowledging the law is unworkable. May this law be repealed, in Jesus Name.
- And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. (Matthew 23:12)
3. Vatican Bank Boss Arrested For Fraud And Corruption - Rapture Ready News
Just weeks after Pope Francis set up a commission of inquiry into the dealings of the scandal ridden Vatican bank, condemning the bank as just a 'money cult' Monsignor Nunzio Scarano a senior Italian cleric along with a financial broker and a secret agent have been arrested for allegedly attempting to place 20m euros illegally into Italy. Monsignor Scarano however says that he can "explain everything" but after a lengthy investigation by the Italian police who in their own words say they were investigating him for a "series of suspicious transactions that seemed to involve recycling a series of cheques which he described as church donations through the Vatican bank" seems doubtful.
- Lord, thank You for this discovery of fraud and corruption. May all things be revealed in the dealings of these men as the investigation continues. Bring restoration of all that has been stolen, In Jesus Name.
- He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. (Luke 16:10-13)
4. Wave Of Anger Is Sweeping The Cities Of The World - Business Insider
The protests have many different origins. In Brazil people rose up against bus fares, in Turkey against a building project. Indonesians have rejected higher fuel prices, Bulgarians the government's cronyism. In the euro zone they march against austerity, and the Arab spring has become a perma-protest against pretty much everything. Each angry demonstration is angry in its own way. Yet just as in 1848, 1968 and 1989, when people also found a collective voice, the demonstrators have much in common. Over the past few weeks, in one country after another, protesters have risen up with bewildering speed.
- Father, show us how to pray over these protests all over the world. Give us Your words to speak over these issues. We pray for all leaders in authority to perform righteous deeds for the people. May they do good and not harm as they serve others. We come against all greed and corruption in governments all over the world. In Jesus Name.
- Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it. (Proverbs 1:19)
5. Anti-Muslim Brotherhood Protests in Egypt: Largest Political Event in World History - Breitbart
The demonstrations that began Sunday in Cairo, Egypt against the Muslim Brotherhood government of President Mohamed Morsi have attracted "millions" of supporters and many counter-demonstrators as well, making the protest the largest political event in the history of the world, according to the BBC.
- Lord, we pray over these events in Egypt. We intercede for Your will to be done in Egypt. We bind all principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. We destroy the works of the enemy over Egypt. In Jesus Name.
- For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12)

Police State II, Hawthorne, Ca
On Monday, The Daily Jot wrote about a University of Virginia coed who was returning to her vehicle when an undercover unit attacked her by jumping on her car, pulling guns on her, breaking the windows out of her car. She spent the night in jail for being so scared that revved up her car and sped away while calling 911. The undercover jackboots thought that she was an under-aged purchaser of a 12 pack of beer. In reality, she had bought some ice cream and a package of bottled water. Now the UK Daily Mail is reporting another incident of the police state out of control. This time the victim is someone walking his dog on Sunday morning.
There were people video taping a police scene. One of them was 52 year old Leon Rosby, who was walking his three year old Rottweiler. The police apparently became upset with Rosby for filming the incident and for having the radio turned up too loud in his nearby car. Rosby put his dog, Max, into the car and walked toward the officers and they cuffed him and walked him toward a set of police cars. That's when Max jumped out of the car window and came running up to his master. Max started barking because the police were physically taking Rosby away. That's when an officer pulled out his weapon and shot Max at least four times. The police claim they were protecting Rosby from his own dog.
The plot thickens. Rosby's lawyer, according to the Daily Mail, claims that Rosby has been the victim of profiling by the Hawthorne police. Rosby has a record of convictions for resisting arrest, battery and driving under the influence. In watching the video, however, it did not appear that Rosby deserved the treatment he received in this incident. Certainly, the dog could have been spared if the police had used good judgment. Rosby spent the night in jail after being arrested on suspicion of obstruction. He was released the next morning. Here are two cases of the police, in my opinion, overreacting, doing great harm as they follow their procedures, and after all that damage, the victims spend the night in jail and are released the next morning.
The increase in reported incidents of this type of jack booting is disturbing. The government spying on us by tapping our phone and emails. The FBI shot to death a young man in Florida after questioning him about the Boston Marathon bombing. The IRS is targeting those who criticize the White House. There are various assorted reports of police aggression toward individuals. It is apparent that you can be charged with anything they drum up, held in jail, harassed, even killed without due process. I long have been a supporter of law enforcement and the police, but this current day mentality is very disturbing. Is this laying the groundwork to what Jesus warned about in Matthew 24:9, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake."
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The State Of Our Union

The State Of Our Union
As the country prepares to celebrate Independence Day, I'd like to take a look at the state of our union as measured through a series of recent polls.
A Rasmussen poll released yesterday found that the public's approval of the Supreme Court has "fallen to the lowest level ever recorded." Only 28% of voters feel the court is doing a good job, while 30% say it is doing a poor job.
That also marked the first time in Rasmussen's polling that more voters gave the court a negative rating. The poll was conducted two days after the court issued its ill-considered opinions on the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8. It seems many voters do not care for the court's left-wing judicial activism.
Americans also do not like the court's perceived hostility toward religion. Last month a Rasmussen poll found that 41% felt that the Supreme Court was "too hostile" toward faith, while just 15% said the court was "too friendly."
Beltway elites routinely reflect the whims of the popular culture. Yet these polls strongly suggest that there is considerable support for conservative values. Unfortunately, all too often our side acts like we are the ones with just 15% support!
These polls also come on the heels of others by Fox News, Pew and CNN finding that large majorities feel that the federal government is out of control and a growing threat to our liberty.
If there is going to be real hope and change in America, the angst and frustration registered in these polls must find an outlet at the ballot box. The liberal justices who voted to redefine marriage will not have to face the voters next year. But many of the senators who voted to confirm them will! Remember that, my friends, when you cast your ballots. (Gary Bauer)
Senator Rubio, Call Your Office

Senator Rubio, Call Your Office
Many of us who like Florida Senator Marco Rubio have been trying to figure out why he made immigration reform a signature issue when there are so many other issues on which he could be fighting Obama. Those close to him argue that he cares about reforming our broken immigration system, and feels that he is uniquely positioned as a Hispanic conservative to break the deadlock on immigration reform.
So what is the payoff for Rubio putting his neck on the line and leading the charge for this quasi-amnesty bill? Perhaps less than he thinks.
According to a poll by Latino Decisions, in a hypothetical 2016 race Rubio would get just 28% of the Hispanic vote while Hillary Clinton gets 66%. He fares no better against Joe Biden, losing 60% to 28%. (Mitt Romney got 27% of the Hispanic vote last year against Barack Obama.)
This must be disappointing news for Senator Rubio given the damage he has sustained among conservative grassroots activists. But it should also serve as a teachable moment to GOP elites who seem to think there is something to be gained by pandering to ethnic interests when it comes to fundamental issues like border security and sovereignty.
Hobby Lobby Wins Reprieve

Hobby Lobby Wins Reprieve
Overshadowed by last week's disappointing Supreme Court decisions was some good news in the legal battle against Obamacare's assault on religious liberty.
The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals determined that Hobby Lobby was likely to succeed in its lawsuit against Obamacare's contraception mandate and ordered a lower federal court to reconsider its ruling against the company. Friday the district court reversed itself and issued an injunction preventing the federal government from enforcing the mandate.
The Obama Administration is effectively arguing that for-profit companies -- even privately-held companies such as Hobby Lobby owned by religious families -- have no right to assert claims of religious liberty. But in their opinion, the appellate court judges rhetorically asked, "Would an incorporated kosher butcher really have no claim to challenge a regulation mandating non-kosher butchering practices?"
The Obama Administration is putting Hobby Lobby and other business owners in an intolerable position: The company can A) violate its religious beliefs and comply with the mandate, B) pay $26 million in fines if it dropped its health care plan to avoid the mandate or C) keep its health insurance coverage and pay nearly $500 million in fines for failing to comply with the mandate.
This case and others like it will presumably be decided by the Supreme Court, where there are four reliably liberal justices and four center-right justices. As we learned yet again last week, pinning your hopes on Justice Anthony Kennedy is a slender reed.
That only underscores the necessity of electing conservatives to Congress in 2014 and a conservative president in 2016 who will work to repeal Obamacare! (Gary Bauer)

The Good News Corner:
Nik Wallenda's Historic Skywire Walk across Grand Canyon
Amazing on Several Levels
With nearly every step, Nik is fervently praying, live on TV beamed all around the world and online to millions hanging on every inch of progress.
When I first watched 7th generation high-wire walker Nik Wallenda walk across Niagara Falls it was without any audio feed. Always having been a huge fan of the breathtaking waterfall, I thought it was an incredible feat.
And then I watched the replay of Nik's walk, this time with the audio feed enabled.
Though I'd been a Believer in Jesus for over two decades prior, Nik's obviously (and audibly) strong faith and reliance on the Lord as he took each perilous step was akin to being in a Holy Spirit-filled revival meeting for me.
There's just something about fearlessness and faith in action.
Naturally, I was excited for his next wire-walk-this time over the immense and spectacular gorge that becomes the Grand Canyon a little further on from where Nik would cross.
Elders of the Navajo Nation graciously gave Nik permission to execute the feat on their land.
This would be equally as astounding as wire-walking over Niagara, except the fact that Nik would not be fettered with any tether (or any net below) at his own request; the stakes were amped to the utmost. (Breaking Christian News) Read more.
> > > We praise God for Nik's victorious walk in Christ, both on the wire and on the land. May his testimony resound around the world, and may multitudes be drawn to know the Christ he praises. Praise God!
