A leading Obamacare critic sees trouble ahead for people who signed up for health insurance on the new government exchanges. According to Betsy McCaughey, the former lieutenant governor of the state of New York, the CEOs of Aetna and CareFirst-Blue Cross/Blue Shield have warned about double- and even triple-digit premium increases in the next few months. - Father God, once again, the more we learn about the Affordable Care Act, the less it seems to be "affordable," much less providing "care" for our people. Abba Father, we praise You that You are our Great Physician, and that by Your Stripes, we are healed. We praise You, too, that You promise to "make a way where there seemeth to be no way" for our problems to be resolved. Lord God Almighty, we ask that You send forth Your ministering angels to dismantle Obamacare, and to remove this yoke of tyranny off the backs of our people. We ask all of this in Jesus' Mighty Name, amen and amen.

- Father God, we thank You for the actions of the patriots who have confronted our government at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, defending the rights of this man to continue to graze his cattle as he and his ancestors have done for so many years. Our freedom is not free, and must be defended at all costs. We ask that the courage demonstrated by these patriots be stirred now in the hearts of the American people so that, together, we WILL "stand up" and the "government WILL back down." Thank You, Abba, for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

3. Hundreds still missing in South Korea ferry sinking - Fox News
SOUTH KOREAN officials say at least four dead, 55 injured and 284 are unaccounted for after a ferry carrying 459 passengers, most of them high school students, sank off the country's southern coast. (Read more)
- Today we join our prayers with those of the saints in South Korea, that all who are now unaccounted for will be found, safe and alive. We call forth unusual strength, skill and ability for all who are now involved in this rescue effort. We ask this in Jesus' Name, amen.

4. Ukraine bares teeth against eastern uprising - CNSNews.com
KRAMATORSK, Ukraine (AP) - In the first Ukrainian military action against a pro-Russian uprising in the east, government forces repelled an attack Tuesday by about 30 gunmen at an airport, beginning what the president called an "anti-terrorist operation" to try to restore authority over the restive region.
The central government has so far been unable to rein in the insurgents, who it says are being stirred up by paid operatives from Russia and have seized numerous government facilities in at least nine eastern cities to press their demands for broader autonomy and closer ties with Russia. We ask for Your will to be done in Ukraine, and for Your Hand of protection to rest upon her people, in Jesus' Name, amen and amen.

5. Republicans Support US Presence in Afghanistan, As Taliban Pledges Ongoing Jihad - CNSNews.com
House Speaker John Boehner led a group of Republican lawmakers on a visit to Afghanistan Monday to send "a strong, unequivocal message that the House of Representatives wants to maintain a right-sized presence" post-2014. The delegation's two-day visit, previously unannounced, coincided with an interview in which a Taliban spokesman rejected of all the presidential candidates in the recent election; vowed the "jihad" would continue; and drew no distinction between combat forces, which are due to withdraw by year's end, and an envisaged smaller mission to train and assist Afghan security forces beyond that date. - Oh dear God, we lift up this report before Your Throne of Grace. It seems that the Taliban want to "bite the hand that feeds them," and in their request to continue this "jihad" against us and their own people, only death and destruction can be the result. 6. Israel Says Kerry's Comments on Iran Nuclear Breakout Time 'Worrying' - CNSNews.com
Recent remarks by Secretary of State John Kerry on Iran's nuclear "breakout" time -- how long it will take Iran to produce fissile material for a nuclear weapon -- have set off alarm bells in Israel, where the government's strategic affairs minister said Monday they were "worrying" and "unacceptable."

Operation Desert Tortoise: It's not over
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told KRNV News 4 that the showdown between a Nevada rancher and the federal government is "not over." He said, "We can't have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it's not over." WorldNetDaily reports that former Sheriff Richard Mack, executive director of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association says his government sources claim that the weekend retreat of the Bureau of Land Management is more of a regrouping, and that the feds were planning an attack on rancher Cliven Bundy. Mack also said that Reid's remarks reflected stupidity in putting the federal bureaucracy ahead of a family that has not committed a crime.
Reid's comments reflect the problem in Washington, DC. He believes that "we can't have an American people that violate the law." Yet, he, his political party, his president and his Attorney General have license to break the law on a daily basis. The "Administration" refuses to enforce many laws that Congress has passed--immigration, off-shore drilling, marriage, health care--just to name a few. As Senate Majority Leader, Reid has refused to hold the Administration accountable supporting the premise that the president and his attorney general have wide discretion on enforcing the law determined by whether they feel the law is just. Therefore, Reid himself is breaking the law and violating the Constitution.
Type in "Nevada, BLM" on the White House website and a huge file appears of the FY2015 OMB Budget for the Department of Interior. Clark County, Nevada is mentioned 9 times. One of the mentions is a congressional finding that the public land in Clark County that has not been designated as wilderness is no longer managed by the Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, but "presents unique opportunities for the granting of additional rights-of-way, including for high voltage transmission facilities..." It further states that no funds may be used to permit "lands identified by the Record of Decision for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States...that lie within the boundaries of the proposed Mojave Trails National Monument..."
This appears to guide the location for the Communist Chinese Solar Farm advocated by Reid and his son Rory-- who represents the US domiciled Communist Chinese energy company, a major contributor to Reid--to a certain part of Clark County--perhaps the land Bundy and his family have ranched for generations. Hence, Reid has already moved legislatively to remove Bundy, the only remaining rancher in Clark County. A warning to Reid and his communists can be found in Deuteronomy 19:14: "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark, which they of old time have sent in thine inheritance.." Another is: Thou shalt not steal. Still another: Thou shalt not covet. Reid's right, it's not over. Now or in eternity.

We in Australia are grateful for the protection that America gave Australia and the nations of the free world during World War II. Dear Friends, Although you aren't hearing much about Ukraine on the U.S. news channels recently, a lot is happening, for which we need to seriously intercede.
Let us say, first and foremost, regardless of the physical facts and news that we are about to present to you; with all of our hearts, we know this battle is spiritual. We have lived here a long time, with prayer, fasting, intercessions, tears, and brokenness, along with many hardships, trials and difficulties of every kind. God's grace has enabled us to stay here, and seek and find a harvest of children that nobody wanted. The Gospel has been proclaimed throughout this land, from east to west. There are both indigenous believers and laborers for the Kingdom, as well as missionaries, that God has seeded all throughout this land. Ever since we've been here, whether we've done evangelistic crusades, or built homes for orphans; people, and especially children, have been getting saved and discipled, rescued, healed, and delivered from death! This is all to the glory of God and His Son Jesus Christ, who has called this land, whose government leaders said there is no God, to now serve Him.
. . . The Russian defense ministry has denied it is preparing to invade Ukraine. The last time Russia said that, on the very next day, they invaded and took over Crimea!

Dear Sara,
This is a key time to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Intercessors from all over the world this week are joining spiritual forces to pray that there would be peace within its walls (Psalm 122). A stalled peace process between Israel and its neighbors is set to expire on April 29, just one day before our National Day of Repentance Prayer and Fasting date.
Tensions rise as papers are filed at the United Nations to carve out boundaries.
At the same time a "Blood Moon" eclipse will occur on the night of April 14-15, the same night Passover begins.

N.K. Threat of EMP Attack

Leaked DHS Report:
N. Korea Capable of EMP Attack on U.S.
Japan, S. Korea and the U.S. are on high alert following N. Korea's launch of mid-range ballistic missiles last Saturday (4/5/14). In response, the three countries released a joint statement on Monday (4/7/14) of this week warning N. Korea will "pay the price" if they carry out another nuclear test despite warnings from the international community.
Additionally, Japan has promised to use one of its destroyers in the Sea of Japan to shoot down any further launches that may threaten Japan. The Aegis destroyer Kirishima carrying Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) interceptors was sent to the Sea of Japan with orders to shoot down anything that ventured into Japanese territory.
Readers will recall that two weeks ago, N. Korea responded to a UN Security Council condemnation of its missile launches by warning of "a new form of nuclear test" for bolstering its nuclear deterrent. According to a report issued this week by the U.S. Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, considered the premier U.S. think tank on the region, this new form of nuclear test the N. Koreans are referring to is not a question of what kind of nuclear device is tested, but how a device is tested.
Their analysis points to three possibilities: a) Multiple simultaneous detonations, b) a full yield atmospheric nuclear test, or c) demonstration of a nuclear-armed missile.
As previously reported by Threat Journal on multiple occasions in the past, the fact that N. Korea has been able to successfully launch a satellite into orbit demonstrates significant technical advances for their missile program and most certainly puts the idea of a nuclear armed launch vehicle well within reach.
Which leads us to a piece of related news:
A classified report prepared by the Department of Homeland Security for the Defense Department and leaked this week warns that N. Korea is easily able to deliver on its threats to strike the U.S. with a nuclear electromagnetic pulse attack. A copy of the highly sensitive report obtained by Peter Vincent Pry, executive director of the congressional advisory Task Force on National and Homeland Security, finds that N. Korea could use its Unha-3 space launch vehicle to deliver a nuclear warhead as a satellite over the South Pole to attack the U.S. from the South.
At present, the U.S. has no early warning radars or interceptors to stop a missile from the South. DHS conducted the study after the N. Korean nuclear crisis last Spring during which N. Korea's leadership threatened a "preemptive" nuclear strike on the U.S. and then released videos depicting a nuclear attack on Washington.
According to Pry, "The N. Koreans are seeing what they can get away with. It shows that Pyongyang is planning something big against the U.S."
In the classified study, the Department of Homeland Security recommended that if N. Korea attempted to deploy either the Unha-3 space launch vehicle or the Taepodong-2 intercontinental ballistic missile, the Pentagon should destroy the missile on its pad before launch. DOWNTOWN STORE BURGLARIZED; OWNER HAS FORGIVING MESSAGE FOR THIEF
Texas Jewelry on the downtown square was burglarized last week.
The store, located at 110 S. Capital St., was broken into about 1:30 a.m. Friday,
April 4.
"Someone busted out the front plate glass window and then damaged one of the showcases," Police Chief Mike Echols said. "The store owner who was sleeping there, chased them away."
Owner Larry Stokes said it was a harrowing experience but he has a message for the thief or thieves.
The burglars didn't know Stokes was on premises or "that I had a 12-gauge shotgun loaded with double ought buckshot," Stokes said.
"I was faced with taking a human life," he said. "But during the confusion something happened. God spoke to me soothing words that stopped me from pulling that trigger. It was a defining moment in my life."
Stokes said instead of shooting, he began to yell and the perpetrator fled.
He said he now has more words for the robber including "I forgive you. What you intended for bad, God (had) a greater purpose in mind," Stokes said. "God was not only looking out for me but he was looking out for you. God spared your life which gives me an opportunity to tell you He loves you."
Stokes said he wanted the person who broke into his store to know that God has a purpose for his life. "The only way you can get to Him is through His son, Jesus Christ," he said. "If you will ask him to forgive you of your sins and invite Him into your heart to stay, making Him lord of your life. God will show you that new purpose. He will give you a peace that passes man's understanding. You were there in my jewelry store on that Friday morning by divine order. God spared your life and is now saying 'come unto me.' Do not reject so great a salvation."

Later this month, from April 28 to April 29, the sun will turn into a "ring of fire" during an annular eclipse. That solar eclipse, however, will only be visible from an uninhabitated part of Antarctica, so it is possible that only be penguins can see it!
"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
