And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:16)
The Daily Brief
1. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has stepped down - Fox News
Egypt's military took control of the country Friday as Hosni Mubarak resigned as president after 18 days of massive protests against his autocratic 30-year reign. Mubarak's resignation was announced by Vice President Omar Suleiman in a brief statement that brought roars of joy to Egyptians gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square - the epicenter of the protest movement - as well as the presidential palace in the suburb of Heliopolis and all around the country.
"We have brought down the regime, we have brought down the regime," chanted the hundreds of thousands of people who packed into Tahrir Square for "Farewell Friday."
Egyptians waved flags, cried, cheered and embraced when the news reached them through a public address system. "Finally we are free," said Safwan Abou Stat, a 60-year-old protester.
The move was welcomed by the White House and several Middle Eastern nations. Obama said the world had witnessed a true moment of history. "Egyptians have inspired us, and and they've done so by putting the lie to the idea that justice is best gained by violence," he said. [Let's remember these words when the destruction comes.]
- Father, we thank you that there has been minimal violence and loss of life so far in this process of change. We pray that you would guard this process; that the powers of darkness would not gain ground and rise up to take power. That you, who "walks on the wings of the wind" would carry a message of truth to the Egyptian people; that you would strengthen and unite your followers in Egypt and that they would gain influence.
- "And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it; and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be entreated of them, and shall heal them. (Isaiah19:22,KJV). "... who walketh upon the wings of the wind:" (Psalm 104:3b,KJV).
2. Saudis Put Obama at Fault on Egyptian Crisis - Fox News
A telephone conversation between Obama and King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday was unusually tense, a senior Obama administration official confirmed to Fox News. The discord arises from Saudi displeasure over the Obama administration's handling of the Egyptian crisis. "They have talked about [the necessity of] a dignified exit for Mubarak," said the official. "And they are judging, in their own mind that we have pushed Mubarak to the side."
- Father, we ask that you would muzzle the mouths of our officials so they would not be able to speak words that do not agree with Your purposes. That you would reveal the truth regarding any hidden agendas and schemes that our leaders may be participating in. We pray our leaders would admit and repent of any wrong doing; that they would look to you and your Word for understanding before they speak or take action.
- "In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin; but he that refraineth his lips is wise" (Proverbs 10:18, KJV) "Thou art snare"d with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth" (Proverbs 6:2, KJV)
3. Obama to offer solutions for housing finance - AP
The Obama administration is poised to release long-awaited proposals for reducing government support of the mortgage market, but Congress will choose the path for reforming financially teetering housing finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
- Father, we pray for our leaders to have understanding and wisdom regarding solutions of housing finance. We pray that Government regulations would be limited in our country, and that our officials would be willing to make choices - even though difficult and unpopular - for the long-term good of the nation. That they would embrace Godly principles as their justification for decisions and that the government agencies that have not borne good fruit would be scaled back or dismantled.
- Wisdom is before him that hath understanding (Proverbs 17:24, KJV) By their fruits you shall know them. (Matthew 7:10)
4. Get ready for higher food prices - Omaha World Herald
Warnings of higher food prices headed for American supermarkets and restaurants were swallowed easily across much of farm country Wednesday.
- Father, in times of famine and lack, you have always provided for your people. We look to you as our source, and we pray that all in this land will seek you instead of man or the government to provide their needs. We pray that you will prosper your people in difficult times, and the prosperity will be used as a sign to point people to you. We pray that your church will rise up to ease the hardship of many.
- The rich and the poor have this in common, The Lord is the maker of them all. (Proverbs 22:2) Now a severe famine overshadowed the land - That year Isaac's crops were tremendous = 100 times the grain he sowed. (Genesis 26:1,12, Living Bible)
5. Postal Service warns of default as losses mount - CNN
The U.S. Postal Service warned Wednesday that it may default on some of its financial obligations later this year after reporting yet another quarterly loss.
- Father, we lift up this financial situation to you. We declare you as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider. We seek your counsel on all matters regarding our country. We ask protection against financial disasters. We plead the blood of Jesus over this matter of finances.
- And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken to the voice of the Lord your God. 3)Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field. 6) Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. (Deuteronomy 28:2,3,6)

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday that a new Middle East is being created which would be free of the United States and Israel, as he backed the Arab uprisings but warned Egyptians to be watchful of America's "friendly face."
2. Israel issues alert over Hezbollah plans to attack or kidnap Israelis abroad - Ha'aretz
Israel Counter Terrorism Bureau strongly advised avoiding particular destinations on the anniversary of the assassination of Hezbollah strongman Imad Mughniyah.

Why is the White House supporting the [Cultic] Muslim Brotherhood?
There is a public relations campaign being conducted by the White House and the mainstream news media that changes in Egypt's government will result in democracy and that this is somehow beneficial to the world. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deception is rampant with regard to the situation in the Middle East, where the White House is working tirelessly to replace the current Egyptian government with some form of undefined "democracy" that includes the most vocal and deceptive opposition group--the Muslim Brotherhood--a known terrorist organization and sponsor of terrorism through affiliated groups like Hamas, Fatah, Hizbollah, and has links to al Qaeda.
David Horovitz of the Jerusalem Post lists several Muslim Brotherhood supported disruptions including Iran in 1979, the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, and Turkey. There are other reports of the Muslim Brotherhood's involvement in Sudan and Somalia. The Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas revealed a Muslim Brotherhood plan for "civilization Jihad" in the United States--a plan that is already very mature in its activation. Horovitz says, "Washington's apparent disinclination...to internalize [accept] the dangers highlighted by the Iran, Gaza, Lebanon and Turkey disasters, and thus do everything in its power to prevent the Muslim Brotherhood presiding over a similar process in Egypt, is incomprehensible."
Real Clear Politics reports that the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, told a Congressional hearing yesterday, "The term Muslim Brotherhood is an umbrella term for a variety of movements. In the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam." Later, Clapper's public affairs office clarified to ABC News: "To clarify Director Clapper's point--in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak's rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation--he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization."
There is overwhelming evidence (despite Clapper's whitewashing) that the Muslim Brotherhood supports terrorism and the non-secular establishment of Sharia Law by force throughout the world. Yet, the actions of the man who occupies the Oval Office support the Muslim Brotherhood in forming a new government in Egypt. His very support could likely set off a powerful move of Islam felt throughout the world that could make the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran look like child's play. Why would the president of the United States support the Muslim Brotherhood? He was born and raised a Muslim of parents who were communistic at the very least. Maybe he knows something the rest of us don't.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Obama vs. Abdullah
Early in Obama's administration, I would often refer to him as our "apprentice president," and I took some flak for it. But because Obama had the thinnest resume of any commander-in-chief in modern history, it seemed an accurate description. Even Joe Biden, before being tapped as Obama's running mate, knocked his inexperience, warning voters, "The presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training." Two years later, there is little evidence that Obama has learned much.
In the past two weeks, the Obama White House has struggled to address the crisis in Egypt. Initially, the administration was quick to press for Hosni Mubarak's resignation. That rash reaction sent a message to our friends everywhere that the U.S. was a fickle ally. Later, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Obama's special envoy, Ambassador Frank Wisner, issued contradictory statements. How will it turn out? Who knows!
What we do know is that Obama, the man who was supposed to improve our relations with the Muslim world, deeply upset the king of Saudi Arabia with his handling of Egpyt.
I'm the last one to suggest that the Saudis are our friends. They are not. They are, however, better than the Islamic extremists who would like to behead them for not being Islamic enough! And thanks to the president's radical environmental policies . . . we are more dependent than ever on Saudi oil.
Mubarak is not stepping down today as was widely reported. He is passing on presidential authority to his vice president. The demonstrators have indicated that they won't accept anyone associated with Mubarak. More turmoil seems certain, and our apprentice president has no clue what will come next. (Gary Bauer)

Hotel Chain Cites Success after Taking a Moral Stand
By dropping "adult" television channels, hotel gets faith communities' business.
(Dallas, Texas)-In 1999 Omni Hotels, run by Robert Rowling, decided to eliminate "adult" entertainment channels from their in-room hotel televisions. Today, their business success story is making news.
Omni spokesperson Caryn Kboudi said that it was a "moral decision" and within six months of implementing their policy they discovered they had attracted a whole new client base: Christians.
"We were an organization that had never tapped into the religious market," said Omni sales director Tamie Smith. "My position was created when the ownership made the announcement."
