1. Sara Netanyahu pleads guilty, says 'I've suffered enough' - World Israel News

Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, pleaded guilty Sunday at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court to the reduced charges in her plea bargain in what is known as the "Prepared Foods Affair."

Netanyahu and Ezra Saidoff, a former employee at the Prime Minister's Residence, were charged with fraud and breach of trust for spending state funds on catered meals while there was a chef on staff. According to the judge's ruling, Netanyahu took advantage of the mistake of accountants who were unaware of the chef's position.

Instead of going to trial over allegations of fraud and breach of trust, Netanyahu will be convicted of the much lighter criminal offense of "deliberate exploitation of the mistake of others," which is not legally considered fraud.

Netanyahu herself said after the sentencing, "I've suffered enough," to which Judge Avital Chen replied, "I'm sure."Sara Netanyahu's lawyer said the "demonization" of his client during the years-long saga was "unprecedented."

2. Israeli cabinet names Golan's newest town 'Trump Heights' - World Israel News

The Israeli cabinet was holding its weekly meeting Sunday on the Golan Heights, instead of Jerusalem, and voting on a resolution to "initiate establishment of a new residential community on the Golan Heights to be named for U.S President Donald Trump," according to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). The name of the new Golan locality will be Ramat Trump - Trump Heights, it said.

The PMO said that the move was being taken in recognition of the president's efforts "on behalf of the State of Israel in a wide range of areas," including "American recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the recognition of Israeli sovereignty on the Golan Heights."

3. For First Time Since the Days of King Ahab: Israel and Lebanon to Open Maritime Border Talks - Breaking Israel News

Israel and Lebanon are readying to open maritime border talks in July, a move which may open up the trade necessary to build the Third Temple.

Israel's Channel 13 news station cited senior Israeli officials who said the two sides have made significant progress with regard to direct talks. The goal of the negotiations is to demarcate the maritime border between the two states. The initial round of direct negotiations is expected to kick off in July.

According to the report, U.S. Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Satterfield, who was mediating the negotiations last week, experienced a breakthrough between the Lebanese government and Israel's Energy Minister, Yuval Steinitz. The marine border agreement should impact offshore oil and gas exploration. However, one of the main sticking points is Israel's demand for a six-month deadline.

According to the report, direct negotiations are to take place at UNIFIL offices in Nakura, giving the UN some say in the discussions as well. Israel has reiterated that the discussions will focus solely on the maritime border and not land borders.

4. Hamas 'Investigating' Latest Rocket Attack on Israel - Times of Israel

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said Saturday that his organization is "investigating the rocket fire on Israel, as there was no order to any group to do it."

Haniyeh was referring to Thursday's rocket fire on southern Israel, which hit a religious school in the city of Sderot.

The statement was made during Haniyeh's meeting with U.N. Envoy to the Middle East Nikolay Mladenov in Gaza. According to Palestinian media reports, the Hamas leader stressed that Gaza's rulers were "committed to the understandings reached as part of the ceasefire. We want it [the ceasefire] to continue."

Also on Saturday, Khalil al-Hayya, the deputy of Hamas military leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, said that a delegation of senior Egyptian officials is scheduled to arrive in Gaza in the coming days, in an effort to further understandings between Hamas and Israel, so as to prevent further escalation. A Qatari delegation is also expected to arrive in the Strip, he said.

8. Netanyahu: Iran Working toward "Arsenal of Nuclear Bombs" - BFP

Iran is lying about its nuclear work and is trying to obtain an "arsenal of nuclear bombs," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday, following a meeting with the former deputy head of the UN's atomic agency at his Jerusalem office.

Olli Heinonen, who previously held a senior position at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and now serves as a fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, warned Wednesday that Iran's nuclear scientists-who he described as "the best of the best"-could produce enough fissile material for an atomic bomb in six to eight months.

Netanyahu said, "It's very clear Iran is lying. Iran is continuing to work toward an arsenal of nuclear bombs, and we're committed to stop it." He praised Heinonen for his "forthright analysis" and "clear-cut conclusion."

The nuclear scientist thanked Israel for revealing information about Iran's secret nuclear archive last year. "Thank you for this brave action of taking them out (the nuclear archive documents) because this gives the material for the international community to think about and it's a good place on how to talk with the Iranians, how to stop it," he said. (Read more)

- Ask God to expose Iran's lies and open the eyes of the international community to the danger it poses, not just to Israel but to the world. Pray that the Lord will put a stop to Islamic regime's development of nuclear weapons and its plans to harm its enemies.

- "He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans." (Job 5:12)

9. Israel Scores against BDS - BFP

Organizations in the "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions" (BDS) movement against Israel are trying to harm the Jewish state financially in an effort to achieve anti-Israel political goals. Recently, Israel's government and partner groups have turned the tables on them, exposing the links between dozens of those groups to terrorists and pushing financial entities to close their accounts. So far, 30 financial accounts of such anti-Israel organizations have been shut down, according to an Israeli press release. (Read more)

- Praise the Lord for his favor and mercy in exposing the lies of the BDS movement and thwarting their schemes. Ask him to continue to expose the deceit behind the anti-Semitic movement to the international community and to continue to frustrate their plans.

- "For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil." ( Ecclesiastes 12:14)

10. Guest List for Bahrain Economic Conference Grows as Egypt, Jordan and Morocco Confirm Attendance - BFP

Support is growing for a US-led economic forum in Bahrain later this month, with Jordan, Egypt and Morocco officially accepting the invitation. The Palestinian Authority (PA) has condemned the conference and is calling on other Arab nations to boycott the event. Participants in the "Peace to Prosperity" forum, scheduled for June 25-26, are expected to discuss predominately regional economic issues as well as security and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Attending the conference with be representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Jordan, Egypt and Morocco are the latest countries to confirm their attendance. According to Ynetnews, representatives from the World Bank and International Monetary Fund will also be there. Lebanon has rejected the forum, although it is unclear whether they were actually invited. Israel has not yet received an invitation, but it is believed that the US is waiting for more Arab nations to accept the invitation before extending it to the Jewish state.

The PA has spoken out against the event and against those who are attending. PA Spokesperson Ibrahim Melhim said the PA "deeply regrets the declaration of Cairo and Amman about its participation in the workshop and call on them and all brotherly and friendly countries to withdraw from participating in the workshop," reported the Times of Israel.

Officials from the US and host Bahrain said the aim of the gathering is to "facilitate discussions on an ambitious, achievable vision and framework for a prosperous future for the Palestinian people and the region, including enhancements to economic governance, development of human capital, and facilitation of rapid private sector growth."

Senior White House Advisor Jared Kushner announced the forum on May 19. Kushner and Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt have since been in the Middle East to meet with regional leaders and garner support for the event. (Read more)

- Praise God for the willingness of these nations to come together. Beseech the Lord to bestow His wisdom and discernment upon these world leaders as they discuss important issues and solutions.

"A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:5, 7)

11. How Palestinian Leaders Butcher the Truth - BFP

. . . If the ICC ever looks into this incident, it should begin its inquiry by investigating the vicious incitement of Palestinian leaders, who use Jewish visits to a holy site in Jerusalem to butcher the truth, just as it whips up Palestinians such as Yusef Wajih to wake up in the morning and butcher the first Jew he meets. The blood of Wajih is on the hands of Palestinian leaders, and not the police officers who stopped a terrorist from stabbing yet more Jews. (Read full article here)

- Ask God to shine a light in the darkness of the Palestinian leadership's lies. Pray that He will reveal the truth to the Palestinian people and to the international community. Intercede for the Jewish people and ask the Lord to hedge them in His protection from incitement.

- "You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; the LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield." (Psalm 5:6,12)

1. Erdogan Expecting Delivery of Russian S-400s in July- Breaking Israel News

In a bold move, Turkey announced the purchase of advanced missile defense systems from Moscow. This decision could force America to deny Ankara F-35 fighter jets. Citing Turkey's NTV, Reuters news agency reported on Sunday that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that he expects Russia to start delivering S-400 missile defense systems as early as July.

"We discussed the S-400 subject with Russia. Indeed the S-400 issue is settled," Erdogan said to journalists upon returning from Tajikistan. There, he met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. "I think they will start to come in the first half of July," Erdogan explained. (Read more)

- Father God, as we witness the alignment of nations coming to pass now according to end-times Scriptures, we praise You for Your soon coming, and we pray for the harvest of souls that will yet join Your church. Help us, O Lord we pray, to stay on the straight and narrow path until the day of Your coming. In Your name, amen.

- "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:14)

2. President Xi: China to promote ties with Iran no matter what - Press TV

Chinese President Xi Jinping says Beijing will continue to promote steady development of ties with Tehran no matter how the situation changes. He made the remarks on Friday during a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit underway in the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek, the official Xinhua news agency said.

Xi condemned Washington's unilateral pullout from the 2015 nuclear deal with Tehran as the main reason behind rising tensions in the region, calling for the promotion of multilateralism. Rouhani said Iran and China's resistance in the face of US unilateralism could be in the interest of the two countries as well as the entire world.

Iran and China, Rouhani said, have great capacities to develop their relations. "Due to its exceptional geographical location, Iran is ready to play a key role in the development of 'One Belt, One Road' Initiative," he said. Projects under the plan include a network of railways, highways, oil and gas pipelines, power grids, Internet networks, maritime and other infrastructure links across Central, West and South Asia to as far as Greece, Russia and Oman. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that all ungodly deals between nations be halted by the hand of the Lord and that only the righteous acts of nations will prevail. Let God be God over all nations and their activities worldwide. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.

- "These things I have spoken unto you, that in God you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer, God has overcome the world." (John 16:33)

2. Manafort defense team exposes the 'intelligence community's' betrayal of their responsibilities - American Thinker

As the Russia Hoax is being unwound, we are learning some deeply disturbing lessons about the level of corruption at the top levels of the agencies charged with protecting us from external threats. One jaw-dropping example has just been exposed by the legal team defending Paul Manafort.

Foundational to the entire narrative that Russia "interfered" with our election and that President Trump "colluded" with this interference is the conclusion issued by the "intelligence community" that the DNC emails were hacked by Russia. According to this assertion, the exposure of those emails affected the election, and therefore Trump benefitted from Russian interference. There has already been ample reason to dismiss this collective judgment from the intelligence community, primarily focusing on the fact that the download speed of the emails could only have been achieved by loading it on a device attached to the server itself.

But now, the Department of Justice had made an admission in response to a filing by Manafort's defense team that reveals they did not carry out their basic responsibilities. Suspecting they could prove the Russian hacking claim was false, lawyers representing Roger Stone requested the full Crowdstrike report on the DNC hack. When the DOJ responded to the Stone motion they made a rather significant admission. Not only did the FBI not review the DNC server, the FBI/DOJ never even saw the Crowdstrike report. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we ask for Your direct intervention into the acts of top level agencies charged with protecting America from external threats. Defend America, by the power of our God. And we pray that all of the Russian/Trump hacking claims which were only lies be put to death and they never surface again. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.

- "The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge." (Proverbs 18:15)

3. CPB Find Abandoned Body of 7-Year-Old Girl Who Died While Crossing Southern Border - Epoch Times

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents have found the body of a 7-year-old girl, who they say was abandoned after she died while illegally crossing a remote section of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Officials believed the girl from India died after human smugglers forced her and a group of illegal immigrants to cross a section of the border in Arizona. Her body was found early June 12, about 17 miles west of Lukeville, according to a statement. "This is a senseless death driven by cartels who are profiting from putting lives at risk," said Tucson Chief Patrol Agent Roy Villareal. "Our sympathies are with this little girl and her family."

Agents said they first became aware of the illegal crossing after they arrested two Indian women. They said three people from their group-a woman and two children-were separated from them while crossing.

"Within hours, they discovered the little girl's remains, which were recovered by the Pima County Sheriff's Department," Border Patrol said in their statement. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray for You to stop this ring of evil surrounding the exodus attempt from Mexico to America, which is illegal and ungodly and profits those smugglers and illegal immigrants from putting lives at risk. We bind the powers of darkness under the Blood of Jesus and command them to stop this corruption. Now. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "The Name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run into it and is safe." (Proverbs 18:10)

4. Trump: Homan Returning to White House as 'Border Czar' - NewsMax

Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, will be coming back to the administration as a "border czar," President Donald Trump said Friday. Trump sad Homan will report directly to him and will work from the White House, but will make frequent visits at the border.

Homan is well known as a hardliner on immigration, even though Trump on Friday said the measures Mexico has been taking have slowed down immigration.

"Mexico has been doing a terrific job," said Trump. "Hey, 6,000 soldiers, and if it doesn't work out, then we go back to very strong measures, and I don't want to have to do that."

Trump also said Friday that the border wall is "going up very rapidly" and that more than 400 miles will be up by the end of next year. "The wall is very important," said Trump. "It's hard to breach it; it's high, strong, powerful, and going up at much lower cost than the wall that was planned prior to me getting there." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that Your hand be upon President Trump and Tom Homan as they enforce our immigration laws. Father God, the workers of iniquity are making it their job to profit off the lives of innocent people across the southern border of the United States. Strengthen President Trump and Mr. Homan by God's power and make them giants against this corruption. In the holy Name of Jesus we pray.

- "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." (Romans 13:1)

5. Trump Sets 'Ambitious Goal' of Cutting Unemployment Rate for Ex-Cons to Single Digits - CNS News

President Donald Trump set what he called an "ambitious goal" on Thursday to cut the unemployment rate for former inmates to single digits. "The unemployment rate for former inmates is up to five times higher than the national average. My administration has set an ambitious goal: We want to cut the unemployment rate for these individuals to single digits within five years, and we think there's a really good chance of doing it," he said during a White House event on second chance hiring.

"Too often, former inmates are not considered for jobs even if they're qualified, rehabilitated, and ready to work, and that's why we're taking crucial steps to encourage business to expand second chance hiring practices," the president said. "So when we say 'hire American,' we mean all Americans, and that's what's happening. In furtherance of this goal, Johnny Taylor, president of the Society for Human Resource Management, which represents 300,000 human resources people worldwide and whose companies employ 115 million people everyday, launched a website called "Getting Talent Back to Work." He announced that they got 1,500 U.S. employers "to immediately sign to join the movement, because we needed employers to commit." (Read more)

- Father God, we are so thankful for President Trump being led to incorporate programs that will help all Americans realize that they now have a President who is mindful of the welfare of people in all walks of life. Put in the heart of these people a sense of lawfully abiding in truth and good hard work. God bless President Trump. In the holy Name of Jesus.

- "In righteousness shall you be established: the people shall be far from oppression; for they shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near them." (Isaiah 54:14)

6. Texas Town Becomes 'Sanctuary City of the Unborn' as Citizens Cheer - Christian Headlines

A small Texas town became a "sanctuary city of the unborn" Tuesday night when the city council passed an ordinance banning abortion within the city limits. The city council for Waskom, Texas, unanimously passed the ordinance over the warnings of the mayor, who said the town may be sued. The ordinance passed to cheers from the crowd, KTAL reported. It prohibits abortion clinics from opening and declares the town a "sanctuary city" for the unborn. "We decided to take things into our own hands, and we've got to do something to protect our cities and to protect the unborn children," said Mark Lee Dickson of Right To Life with East Texas. Councilwoman Tawnee McCay sponsored the Riverton resolution. "Some have asked why we should do this at a city level," she said, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. "Some people say a resolution has no teeth - it's not a state law or city ordinance. I say that we each need to stand up for our values. We need to speak up for the repressed or those that are never given the chance to have a voice." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we praise Your Name for moving on the people in Right to Life for taking a major stand against abortion in Waskom, Texas. May Your power move over this city and may this action be seen all across our nation as a witness to standing for the right of babies to live and the closing of the door of abortion. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.

- "Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether be to the king, as supreme." (I Peter 2:13)

7. Terror in D.C.: Media under-reports plot to imitate Nice truck rampage in America - FrontPageMag

In a vastly under-reported story by the mainstream media, the capital of the United States barely missed being the target of a Nice-like terrorism attack that killed 86 people and plunged France into grief and shock. In that French city, in July, 2014, a Muslim terrorist drove a large truck down a popular promenade, deliberately smashing into as many innocent people out for a walk as possible, killing 86.

In March, Rondell Henry, 28, a native of Trinidad inspired by Islamic State videos of violence and death, was planning a Nice-like attack by running over a crowd of innocent people in Washington, D.C.

Henry, a naturalized American citizen who lived in Germantown, Maryland, had first driven to Virginia on March 26 where he stole a U-Haul truck he had tailed and which he intended to use as his murder weapon. With the truck, Henry next drove to Washington's Dulles International Airport, expecting to find there large enough crowds he could mow down. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we thank You for answering our prayers for the safety of our nation and its people. For the protection of innocent Americans, we pray there be major steps taken to send this man back to Trinidad and take away his naturalized American citizenship. We ask this in the Name of Jesus.

- "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro through the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. Herein you have done foolishly: therefore from henceforth you shall have trouble."(2 Chronicles 16:9)

8. Maine the 8th state to legalize assisted suicide for terminally ill - UPI

Maine has become the eighth state in the nation to legalize medically assisted suicide. The "Death with Dignity Act" will allow adults who are determined by a doctor to be within six months of dying to request and obtain medication to end their own lives, once it takes effect in October. Gov. Janet Mills signed the bill into law Wednesday.

Maine's follows similar laws in Oregon, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, Washington and New Jersey. The District of Columbia also has a similar law. Under the Maine law, a physician must verify the terminally ill patient has made an "informed decision" and will be assessed for depression or other mental health condition that impairs judgment.

Mills said she signed L.D. 1313 after weighing both sides of the controversial issue, and had talked with opponents and supporters. Some religious groups were strongly opposed, but polls show the majority of residents support it. Maine's House voted 73-72 to pass the bill on June 3 and the Senate followed the next day in a 19-16 vote mostly along party lines. After Mills signed it, she also signed an executive order for agencies to develop precise rules for the lethal medication process to prevent abuse. (Read more)

- Almighty God, open the mind of Gov. Janet Mills to realize that before God, she will have the blood of all these suicide deaths on her hands when she stands before God to give an account of all her deeds while on the earth. She has opened a lethal door that will bring judgment on the State of Maine. God help them. We pray in Jesus' Name.

- "For I, the Lord, know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (Jeremiah 29:11)

9. Two small victories for religious liberty that you didn't hear about - Washington Examiner

On Monday, the Supreme Court dealt Michael Newdow, a well-known atheist, a blow when they refused to take on his case, which would remove "In God We Trust" from coins. Newdow developed a reputation for being combative against religious symbolism in the public sphere when he attempted to have the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools declared unconstitutional because it includes the phrase "under God."

In his latest efforts to strip God from America's historical significance, Becket Fund attorney Eric Rassbach tweeted that "Dr. Newdow wants to remove the National Motto 'In God We Trust' from coins because he believes the phrase creates a 'religious establishment' - an official state church, like the one in England." Newdow lost in the lower courts and appealed to the Supreme Court, but on Monday, the Supreme Court denied the appeal without comment.

In another victory, just announced Friday, the battle over tax-exempt housing allowances for ministers, which I've reported several times in these pages, is finally over. In Gaylor v. Mnuchin, the atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation sued the IRS to end the parsonage allowance, a federal tax provision which allows churches, mosques, and synagogues to provide faith leaders a tax-free housing allowance to help them live in the communities they serve. The Becket Fund, which represented the ministers, said, "The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit recently rejected the atheists' challenge and unanimously upheld the tax exemption as constitutional." Thursday was the last day the Freedom From Religion Foundation could appeal to the Supreme Court, and they declined, thus ending the lawsuit by default. (Read more)

- Lord God in heaven, we are so thankful for the stand that the Becket Fund attorney took to keep "In God We Trust" on our American coins. And we also praise God for the U.S. Court of Appeals for their unanimous vote to uphold the tax exemption status for faith leaders. Thank You, Lord.

- 'And you shall seek Me, and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)

New foreign election influence scandal

The ongoing coup attempt by the radical leftist neo communists continues without any subscription to fact, honesty or common sense. Political people say the most outrageous things. The media shovels it up out of the ideological gutter and throws it on the gullible pile where ignorant and unthinking minions snarf if up as if it is a fountain of truth. People need to wake up and start thinking on their own. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children." Pretty harsh consequences for ignorance, right? Well here is another example . . .

In an Oval Office interview Wednesday ABC News chief anchor George Papadopoulos asked President Donald Trump if his campaign would accept damaging information from a foreign government about a 2020 political opponent or hand it over to the FBI. Trump responded, "I think maybe you do both. I think you might want to listen. There's nothing wrong with listening. If somebody called from a country, Norway, 'We have information on your opponent' - oh, I think I'd want to hear it. If I thought there was something wrong, I'd go maybe to the FBI if I thought there was something wrong,"Democrats expressed outrage, saying this proves that Trump would collude with a foreign government to influence a US election.

Former Vice President and Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden's campaign tweeted: "President Trump is once again welcoming foreign interference in our elections. This isn't about politics. It is a threat to our national security. An American President should not seek their aid and abet those who seek to undermine democracy." Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said it was "time to impeach" Trump. Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) announced he supported impeachment after Trump's comments. The question was obviously a set up because any answer would have prompted a media landslide and strong political demagoguery from the neo communist coup-makers. But let's take an inventory of who listens to foreign governments.

The immediate past president, the Democratic National Committee, and Hillary Clinton secretly paid for a foreign national, Christopher Steele, to fabricate a dossier of Trump-Russian collusion to undermine the election. The Democrat's chief investigator, Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA), also sought information on Trump from Ukrainian government officials. The DNC also accepted information on Trump from the Ukraine. The former president and the FBI used the information in the Steele dossier to obtain a secret FISA court warrant to spy on Trump's campaign, even after he was elected, to try to overturn the election results. Yet they accuse Trump of foreign collusion. This is an excellent example of fake news accusing someone of doing exactly what the accusers have done. And knowledge-rejecting ignoramuses will believe it.

Have a blessed and powerful day,

Classic Hymns

ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS' NAME

"God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11)

Lyrics

All hail the power of Jesus' name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all.

Let highborn seraphs tune the lyre,
And as they tune it, fall
Before His face who tunes their choir,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Before His face who tunes their choir,
And crown Him Lord of all.

. . . Crown Him, ye martyrs of your God,
Who from His altar call;
Extol the Stem of Jesse's rod,
And crown Him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse's rod,
And crown Him Lord of all.

. . . Let every tribe and every tongue
Before Him prostrate fall
And shout in universal song
The crownèd Lord of all.
And shout in universal song
The crownèd Lord of all.

About the Author:

Words: Edward Perronet, 1779

Melody: Oliver Holden, 1793

About the Hymn:

Mr. William Reynolds, of Peoria, Illinois, the well known Sunday school worker, tells the following, which he had from the lips of the missionary himself. The missionary, Rev. E. P. Scott, while labouring in India, saw on the street one of the strangest looking heathen his eyes had ever lit upon. On inquiry he found that he was a representative of one of the inland tribes that lived away in the mountain districts and that came down once a year to trade. Upon further investigation he found that the Gospel had never been preached to them and that it was dangerous to venture among them because of their murderous tendencies. He was stirred with much desire to break unto them the Bread of Life. He went to his lodging place, fell upon his knees and pleaded for Divine direction. Arising, he packed his valise, took his violin with which he was accustomed to sing and his pilgrim staff, and started in the direction of the Macedonian cry.

As he bade his fellow missionaries farewell, they said, "We shall never see you again. It is madness for you to go." For two days he travelled, scarcely meeting a human being, until at last he found himself in the mountains surrounded by a crowd of savages. Every spear was pointed at his heart. Not knowing of any other resource he tried the power of singing the name of Jesus to them. Drawing forth his violin he began with closed eyes: "All hail the power of Jesus name! etc."
Afraid to open his eyes he sang on till the third verse, and while singing this verse -- "Let every kindred, every tribe, etc." -- he opened his eyes to see what they were going to do, when, lo! the spears had dropped from their hands and the big tears were falling from their eyes. They afterwards invited him to their homes, an invitation gladly accepted. He spent two years and a half amongst them. His labours were greatly blessed, and he had so won upon their affections that when he was compelled to leave on account of impaired health for this country, they followed him for thirty miles. "O missionary," they said, "come back to us again." He has gone back and there is labouring still.

Signs and Wonders

More than 260 dead dolphins found on Gulf Coast since February, triple the usual amount NOAA says

Scientists from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are investigating why bottlenose dolphins are stranding themselves at an unusually high rate in the Northern Gulf of Mexico this year; excessive freshwater in the gulf from the Mississippi River flooding could be to blame.

More than 260 dolphins have stranded themselves across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida panhandle since the beginning of February, which is approximately three-times higher than the historical average, NOAA said.

A Mississippi scientist said the spillway opening is at least partly to blame for 126 dolphin deaths across Mississippi's coastline, CBS News reports.

These strandings prompted the declaration of an unusual mortality event (UME). Unusual mortality events are defined as "a stranding that is unexpected; involves a significant die-off of any marine mammal population; and demands immediate response."

Some report this is worse than the 2010 BP oil spill when 91 dead dolphins were found in Mississippi.

NOAA scientists said it is too early to determine any potential causes of the unusually high stranding rate this year, but they're investigating whether lingering effects from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill and salinity changes from high rivers and a Louisiana spillway opening contributed.

Crenshaw Reveals God-Given Miracle That Saved Him from 'Living in a Nightmare' After Eye Injury

Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw said it was a miracle from God that saved his sight after he suffered an eye injury from an IED blast while serving in Afghanistan in 2012.

Crenshaw was a Navy SEAL for 10 years and while serving on his third tour of duty he was blinded by the blast, he told the Christian Broadcasting Network.

"I was blinded right away, I was in a lot of pain, not from my eyes - I just kind of assumed I had dirt in my eyes," Crenshaw said.

He said he was able to get to a helicopter and was then transported for treatment to Germany.

"They saw my condition and immediately put me into a medically induced coma, sedated me pretty heavily, and I was sedated for I don't know how many days," Crenshaw told CBN. (Read more)

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
