The Senate is expected to vote on cloture for S. 311, Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, on Monday evening.

The Equality Act is expected to be introduced in the House on Monday. Speaker Pelosi has said this would be one of the Democrats main priorities this Congress. In the last Congress, the bill number for this legislation was H.R. 2282. This bill amends the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include sex, sexual orientation, and gender identityamong the prohibited categories of discrimination or segregation in places of public accommodation. This legislation could lead to parents losing custody of their children if they decline to help them with "gender transition."
