The wall, politics and the Bible

President Donald Trump made his case to the American people about the need for increased border security. Of course, the news media loaded up to refute his statistics and made the entire narrative about the "Wall." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says that a "wall is an immorality." But there are deeper reasons for the case of increased border security than just a wall-which many of these same politicians once supported. Trump's funding package also requests money for increased drug enforcement, 52,000 detention beds, 75 more immigration judges, 750 more Border Patrol agents, and 2,000 more ICE personnel. It's not just about a wall, it's about the national security of Americans-you and me.

But that's the political issue. No matter how many crimes are committed-the first being that these people break the law by entering the country illegally-or how much disease is spread, or how many more women and children are sold into sex trafficking, or how much drug trade is conducted, the Democrats believe that once they get these people into the country, they will vote for Democrats. So they will twist the numbers, cry immorality, call people racists and xenophobes, or whatever they have to do to allow illegals into the country. It is already proven that voter fraud is their way to win. They already have a platform to prevent voter reform. They already state they want to abolish ICE. This is politics.

The Bible is very clear about how to handle immigrants. Exodus 22:21 says, "You shall neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him." This is repeated in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. In context, Exodus 12:49 says, " One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the foreigner who sojourns among you." This is also repeated in Numbers and Leviticus. One law for all. In this context it is God's law, but these people neither want to submit to the laws of the nation or to God's laws. Walls work. Israel has one that suffered the same outcry of racism as it was being built, but suicide bombings decreased by 86% from the sector behind the wall once it was built. On the negative, the Berlin Wall separated entire families and millions from freedom for nearly three decades. America not only needs a wall, it needs the will to protect its citizens.

While the news media and the "progressives" can argue the decimal points on Trump's numbers, the facts are that bad things are happening because of lax border security. Data released by ICE indicates that In 2014, ICE released a total of 30,558 criminal aliens, convicted of 92,347 crimes. The total number of new crimes for which these aliens were convicted after ICE released them was 2,560, including: 298 dangerous drug offenses, 185 assaults, 40 weapons offenses, 28 sex offenses, 10 sex assaults, four kidnappings, two arsons, and one homicide. The numbers have escalated since. Whenever someone cites the facts to those who want lawlessness, the facts are refuted with charges of racism or other such labels. This is not a "wall" issue. It's a "will" issue. The will of the lawless verses the will of the just.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Of immorality and bondage

The fight over not securing the borders must be really important to the Democratic Party leadership. When considering that the Federal government is the nation's largest employer (over 22 million according to Time-dot-com), and Democrats are all about jobs, their stubbornness over border security is quite curious. The entire resistance movement encouraged by the likes of Hillary Clinton, the immediate past-"president," the Democratic National Committee, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters (D-CA) and others takes on a new meaning when they are willing to put so many people who are living from paycheck to paycheck in financial jeopardy over just ensuring that people come to this country legally.

President Donald Trump made his case to the American people this week about why border security measures, among them the "wall," is in the best interest of national security. It's a pretty hard sell among those 22 million people when they start looking at a stack of bills that need paid and they haven't received a paycheck for a few weeks. Sure, when this mess gets worked out, they will get paid, but the pressure is still there. The Democratic leadership knows this and that is the biggest lever to pressure the President in a different direction. Fewer and fewer people will care about something they think doesn't affect them when their own financial well-being is on the line. So the pressure mounts.

The "wall" is immoral, they say. But by what standard? How can anyone claim the moral high ground when they consistently fight and vote for spending your tax money for the questionable moral things they believe are most important? Tim Elliott of Grabie News researched some of the Democrat-supported funding that goes into the budget. Let's take a look-see. Some $10 billion to the United Nations, $5 million of which goes to abortions in foreign countries; some $750 million to Planned Parenthood; $613,634 to boost "intimacy and trust" of transgender women and their male partners; more than $50 billion per year for "foreign development" in Egypt, Sudan, Uganda, South Africa, Russia, Congo, and Zambia. Spending $5 billion on national security, however, is so immoral that it's worth shutting the government down.

This is the problem when we elect people who mock God, not only in word, but in deed. Not funding and enforcing effective border security has and is causing an increase in murders, sex trafficking, drug trafficking, communicable disease, and other crime. It also stresses taxpayers because we are being taxed billions for social services used by illegals. And come election time, there is massive voter fraud contributing to the election of certain members of a certain political party. Whether in salvation, abiding by God's laws, or honoring the blessings bestowed upon us by the Lord, what are we told in Galatians 5:1? "Stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." When immorality becomes systemic in a large enough people group, bondage will follow.

Have a blessed and powerful day,

Supreme Court News

Trump White House urging allies to prepare for possible RBG departure - POLITICO

After an ailing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg missed oral arguments, the Trump team began early groundwork for another potential confirmation battle.

The White House is reaching out to political allies and conservative activist groups to prepare for an ailing Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's possible death or departure from the Supreme Court - an event that would trigger the second bitter confirmation battle of President Donald Trump's tenure.

The outreach began after Ginsburg, 85, on Monday missed oral arguments at the court for the first time in her 25 years on the bench. The justice, who was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton in 1993, announced in late December that she underwent a surgical procedure to remove two cancerous growths from her lungs.

The White House "is taking the temperature on possible short-list candidates, reaching out to key stakeholders, and just making sure that people are informed on the process," said a source familiar with those conversations, who spoke on background given the delicate nature of the subject. "They're doing it very quietly, of course, because the idea is not to be opportunistic, but just to be prepared so we aren't caught flat-footed."

Ginsburg had a pulmonary lobectomy, the Supreme Court said in a statement, and her doctors said that post-surgery there was "no evidence of any remaining disease." She has also recovered from several past health scares. But her departure from the Court would allow Trump to nominate a third Supreme Court justice - the most in one presidential term since President Ronald Reagan placed three judges on the highest court during his second term.

The nine-member court is currently divided 5-4 between its conservative and liberal wings. Ginsburg's departure would allow Trump to create the Court's strongest conservative majority in decades, a scenario sure to bring intense opposition from Democrats and liberal activists still furious over the October confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

"It would be a brutal confirmation," said John Malcolm, director of the Heritage Foundation's Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. "The first two were not easy at all, but this would be much harder in this respect: When Neil Gorsuch was the nominee, you were replacing a conservative with a conservative. With Kavanaugh, you were replacing the perennial swing voter, who more times than not sided with the so-called conservative wing, so that slightly solidified the conservative wing."

"But if you are replacing Justice Ginsburg with a Trump appointee, that would be akin to replacing Thurgood Marshall with Clarence Thomas," Malcolm added. "It would mark a large shift in the direction of the court."

- Father, we continue bringing this sensitive matter before Your Throne of Grace, praying in the Spirit for Your will to be done in the life of Justice Ginsburg, and the future of the U.S. Supreme Court. Amen.

- "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)

Operation Restoration

Once each week, on Sunday mornings and for 24 hours, join with others in OPERATION RESTORATION . . .

"Operation Restoration"

This initiative is based upon the Move of the Spirit that was launched last month during Operation Refiner's Fire. The LORD has shown us that He has used those fires to ignite the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT to visit our people, which He now yearns to keep burning among our people until the day of His return!

"Operation Restoration" is based on the promise of Scripture, recorded in
2 Chronicles 7:14,15.

It is written:

. . . "and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."

This is a weekly Solemn Assembly, where saints can feel free to gather each Sunday, to offer prayers of repentance before our Lord, for the many sins our nation has committed before Him.

Abba so desires to hear our prayers . . . He is just waiting to heal us!

You can join us, any Sunday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST by calling:
605-468-8850
Access Code: 221654#
Each week, our conference line for Operation Restoration will remain open until Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.EST -- allowing for 24 hours of nonstop prayer before our King of Kings, that He might, indeed, "heal our land." Amen.

Intercessory Prayer Targets Offered by the National Prayer Embassy

Week of January 13 - 19, 2019

Increasing media attention has been focused in recent years on the issues of sexually-motivated kidnapping, trafficking and slavery, especially since radical Islamic terrorists kidnapped 276 teen girls in Nigeria in April 2014. Even before that reports have been surfacing for years of poverty-stricken families around the world selling their daughters to sex traffickers, to be abused for years as sex slaves. In the last 20 years more and more Christian ministries, including former U.S. Congresswoman, Linda Smith, with Shared Hope International and Apostle Heidi Baker in Mozambique, Africa have begun focusing on this issue by rescuing and restoring many victims and calling on leaders in every nation to stop the perpetrators. In 2015 in Afghanistan a U.S. soldier resigned rather than ignore sexual abuse of boys by Afghan military allies which reportedly is a long tradition in that culture. It seems God is shining His light on this issue at this time that it might be stopped worldwide as soon as possible.

Let's pray about all of this today: "Father God, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for giving our leaders Your wisdom and Your urgent, persistent cleanse-the-temple boldness concerning the issues of sexually-motivated kidnapping, trafficking and slavery. In the name of Jesus we bind the devil and all of his evil forces involved in any way in these issues. Come out and go devil in Jesus' name! According to Romans 13 verse 4 and 1st Peter 2 verse 14 we thank You, Lord, for helping our leaders in every nation to be a terror to evildoers and a praise and protection to the righteous, especially innocent children, in Jesus' name, amen!"
