Holy Week: Day Four

Wednesday, March 28, 2018

> > > Please read I Corinthians 15: 29-34

When the devil tempted Jesus, it was a real temptation. He tempted Him to turn stones into bread (see Matthew 4:1-4). What a temptation that must have been! Jesus was hungry; He had the power to turn those stones into bread. But there was another reason that made the temptation so powerful: the great need of the human race. Think of the starving people He could have fed!

Jesus could have done it, but He was here to take people to Heaven, to give them eternal life. And He could do that only by going to the cross and taking their judgment and their Hell. From the cross He was saying, "I love you. I love you, whoever you are." He would have died on that cross if you had been the only person in the whole world. He loves you. You are important to Him.
Outside the influence of the cross there is bitterness, intolerance, ill will, prejudice, hatred, crime, and war. That is why-if the world does not turn to Christ, and Him crucified and raised from the dead-we could see the judgment of God falling upon our world.

Have you met Christ at the foot of the cross, turned from your sins, and put your life completely under His control?

1. Israel Speeds Up U.S. Embassy Opening In Jerusalem By Eliminating Bureaucracy - Jerusalem Post

The red tape that could have delayed the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem was cut on Tuesday, when the National Planning and Construction Council authorized plans to build a wall and escape route from the structure chosen, when the embassy moves from Tel Aviv.

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon exercised his rarely used authority to fast-track the process, so that the embassy will be able to move to Jerusalem - in part - in May, in conjunction with the celebrations of the state's 70th year.

Kahlon - who tweeted his plan to President Donald Trump last week - plans in the coming days to sign onto the council's decision to exempt the construction on the US-government owned Diplomat Hotel from going through the Jerusalem Municipality's bureaucratic process.

2. Palestinians From Gaza Caught Inside Israel With Grenades - Bloomberg

Israeli forces arrested three armed Palestinians who breached a border fence from the Gaza Strip and were caught 20 kilometers (12 miles) away, near a military base, the army said.

Carrying hand grenades, knives and wire cutters, they were apprehended close to the Tze'elim base Tuesday morning, three days before Palestinians are set to begin six weeks of protests along Gaza's heavily guarded barrier with Israel, according to the military. It was the second infiltration this week, after four Gazans tried to torch an Israeli military vehicle near the border fence Sunday, but escaped back to Palestinian territory when they saw Israeli troops approaching.

Tuesday's infiltration had "serious potential" to cause harm, army spokesman Ronen Manelis said on Twitter. "We are investigating, studying and will draw the appropriate conclusions."

3. Palestinians applied for eight international conventions, says official - Jerusalem Post

Palestinians submitted application forms to be accepted for membership in eight international conventions, an official said on Tuesday.

The Palestinians submitted the forms some three months after they applied for membership in 22 other international conventions and treaties.

The Palestinian official told The Jerusalem Post that he could not reveal the specific names of the conventions.

They include the Convention on Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies; the Optional Protocol to Vienna Conventions On Diplomatic Relations; the Convention on Special Missions; the Food Assistance Convention; the International Convention against Apartheid in Sports; the Supplementary Convention on Abolition of Slavery, the Slave Trade, and Institutions and Practices similar to Slavery; the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties between States and International Organizations; and the Treaty of the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

4. Arabs preparing for anti-Israel march - Israel National News

The Arab Supreme National Committee commemorating the 70th anniversary of Nakba Day on Tuesday approved the activities that will begin on Friday, marking Land Day, and will culminate on May 14, the date of Israel's Independence Day to which Arabs refer as the "Nakba", or "catastrophe".

This year's Palestinian Arab protest marches will be held under the title "From generation to generation there is no substitute for the [right of] return and Al-Quds," which expresses Palestinian Arab adherence to the demand for the return of so-called "Palestinian refugees" and their descendants to the territory of the State of Israel.

Muhammad Alian, coordinator of the committee's activities, said that the protest activity would begin this coming Friday near the Beit El checkpoint north of Ramallah. Simultaneously, confrontations are expected at points of friction throughout Judea and Samaria.

5. 'Freedom Coins' from Jewish revolt against Rome found near Temple Mount - World Israel News

Bronze coins, the last remnants of a four-year Jewish revolt against the Roman Empire, were found near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The were discovered by Hebrew University archaeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar during renewed excavations at the Ophel, the area located below the Temple Mount's southern wall.

The 1.5-cm bronze coins were left behind by Jewish residents who hid in a large cave (7×14 meters) for four years between 66-70 CE, from the beginning of the Roman siege of Jerusalem up until the destruction of the Second Temple and the city of Jerusalem.

While several of the coins date to the early years of the revolt, the majority are from its final year, otherwise known as "Year Four" - 69-70 CE.

1. Prime Minister Netanyahu released from hospital after medical tests - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was released from hospital late Tuesday night after concluding a number of tests at Hadassah-University Medical Center in Ein Kerem after suffering from a high fever and bad cough. "The prime minister concluded a series of tests and was released tonight to his home. The checks point towards a mild upper respiratory tract viral infection," said a hospital statement. Doctors recommended that Netanyahu rest and take medication by way of continued treatment.

Following his release from hospital, Netanyahu tweeted his thanks to all those who had shared their concerns. "Thank you to all for your concerns! I am on my way home, sure that a little rest and hot soup will sort things out. Good night," Netanyahu wrote on Twitter in Hebrew. According to a statement put out by the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu's physican Dr. Tzvi Berkowitz ordered the tests, and said that Netanyahu did not sufficiently complete the period of rest required for recovery from a flu he suffered two weeks ago. As a result, the symptoms got worse. Zionist Union chair Avi Gabbay said he hoped Netanyahu would be home in time for the start of the Passover holiday. Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid similarly wished Netanyahu a speedy recovery on the social network, and added that he hopes the prime minister's family has a happy holiday. Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan tweeted: Wishing the dear head of our government a speedy recovery . . . the State of Israel needs you very strong." Wednesday's scheduled cabinet meeting will be led by Liberman should Netanyahu be unable to fill his role. At 68, Netanyahu has remained quite healthy for his age. (Read more)

- Father, we pray Prime Minister Netanyahu will get the rest he needs and make a full and quick recovery.

- He said, "If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you." (Exodus 15:26)

2. States scrambling to avert Obamacare sticker shock after Dems balk at stabilization effort - Washington Times

Congress failed to tamp down Obamacare premiums in last week's spending bill, shifting the burden onto states, where governors and legislatures are facing growing pressure - but few good options - to bring down rates before companies finalize their 2019 prices. Politicians at all levels of government are fearing another round of sticker shock for consumers this fall as insurers jack up prices, blaming both the original 2010 health law and the moves Congress and the Trump administration have made to undercut it in the years since. Capitol Hill had a chance to lower rates with a stabilization bill Republicans had hoped to attach to last week's spending package. But Democrats balked, and Congress likely missed its last chance to act before the new rates are set.

With federal policymakers sputtering, states are plotting their own steps, seeking federal permission for "reinsurance" program that subsidize pricey customers or waiting for final instructions from the Trump administration on short-term plans that don't fully comply with Obamacare's strict coverage requirements. Congressional Democrats say Republicans poisoned efforts to post the cash by including pro-life language that went beyond the 2010 law's status quo, though the GOP said liberal members mostly wanted to blame Mr. Trump for rising premiums before the mid-term elections. Besides reinsurance money, the proposal would have restored cost-sharing reimbursements to insurers, expanding the range of cheaper options for healthier people and streamlining the waiver system that lets state experiment under the Affordable Care Act. - Father, we need Your indwelling Spirit to bring us true health and happiness. We pray the millions of Americans who are on these Obamacare plans will qualify for other health coverage or find better options.

3. Retired Justice John Paul Stevens: Second Amendment Should Be Repealed - NewsMax

Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens is calling for a repeal of the Second Amendment. Stevens' comments came in a column published in The New York Times on Tuesday. "Rarely in my lifetime have I seen the type of civic engagement schoolchildren and their supporters demonstrated in Washington and other major cities throughout the country this past Saturday," he said. "These demonstrations demand our respect. They reveal the broad public support for legislation to minimize the risk of mass killings of schoolchildren and others in our society. That support is a clear sign to lawmakers to enact legislation prohibiting civilian ownership of semiautomatic weapons, increasing the minimum age to buy a gun from 18 to 21-years-old, and establishing more comprehensive background checks on all purchasers of firearms. But the demonstrators should seek more effective and more lasting reform. They should demand a repeal of the Second Amendment."

Stevens noted the amendment was sparked over the "concern that a national standing army might pose a threat to the security of the separate states." He said the amendment provides that "a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." But he added: "Today that concern is a relic of the 18th century." (Read more)

4. Informant provided FBI evidence Russia aided Iran nuclear program during Obama years - The Hill

A former undercover informant says he provided evidence to the FBI during President Obama's first term that Russia was assisting Iran's nuclear program even as billions in new U.S. business flowed to Moscow's uranium industry. William Douglas Campbell told The Hill his evidence included that Russia was intercepting nonpublic copies of international inspection reports on Tehran's nuclear program and sending equipment, advice and materials to a nuclear facility inside Iran. Campbell said Russian nuclear executives were extremely concerned that Moscow's ongoing assistance to Iran might boomerang on them just as they were winning billions of dollars in new nuclear fuel contracts inside the United States.

Congressional Democrats have written a memo questioning Campbell's credibility and memory while Republicans say his story calls into question the favorable treatment the Obama administration gave Russia. Notes of Campbell's FBI debriefings show he reported in 2010 that a Russian nuclear executive was using "the same kind of payment network" to move funds between Russia and Iran as was used to launder kickbacks between Moscow and Americans. Campbell worked from 2008 to 2014 as an undercover informant inside Rosatom, Russia's state-controlled nuclear giant, while posing as a consultant. He helped the FBI put several Russian and U.S. executives in prison for a bribery, kickback, money laundering and extortion scheme. He said he became concerned the United States was providing favorable decisions to the Russian nuclear industry in 2010 and 2011 - clearing the way for Moscow to buy large U.S. uranium assets and to secure billions in nuclear fuel contracts - even as he reported evidence of Moscow's help to Iran. 5. American who escaped Al Qaeda captivity says FBI, under Mueller and Comey, betrayed him - FoxNews

After he escaped from Al Qaeda in Syria, American photojournalist Matt Schrier investigated his own kidnapping and uncovered what he describes as a pattern of "betrayal" by FBI agents handling his case. Schrier is now asking hard questions of former FBI Director Robert Mueller, who now leads the special counsel Russia probe, and former FBI Director James Comey, who was fired by President Trump in May 2017. In an exclusive cable interview that first aired Monday on "The Story" with Martha MacCallum, Schrier went in depth, sharing emails, financial records and formal letters of complaint, which backed up allegations that after he was taken hostage in 2012, the FBI monitored his accounts as Al Qaeda terrorists used his money to buy at least a dozen computers and tablets. While he was tortured and held by al Nusra, the brutal Al Qaeda franchise in Syria, Schrier claimed the FBI put intelligence gathering ahead of his personal security, hoping to track the computers and tablets to learn more about Al Qaeda recruits and future plots. After his harrowing escape, Schrier started demanding answers from the FBI, which at the time of his kidnapping was led by Mueller.

On New Year's Eve of 2012, instead of crossing back into Turkey, Schrier was kidnapped by the Al Qaeda franchise known as al Nusra. Schrier spent the next seven months held in six prisons across Syria where he was routinely tortured and starved. By February 2013, Schrier said the terrorists had everything to steal his identity. "They bought laptops, they bought tablets, they bought boots, you know, things to fight with." At the same time, Schrier claimed the FBI was monitoring the transactions, and the bureau's point person for his family, agent Lindsey Perotti, misled his mother. Six months into his captivity, the FBI agent wrote Schrier's mother, "Everything at this point seems to indicate he is the one using his phone, credit card, and bank account." Despite working as a freelance war photographer, Schrier had not posted any new work. (Read more)

6. Trump on pace for record low number of refugees - Washington Times

The Trump administration has resettled slightly more than 10,000 refugees as it nears the midpoint of the fiscal year, putting it on pace for by far the lowest total since the modern system was established nearly four decades ago. President Trump had set a cap of 45,000 refugees this year, but at the current pace it will come in at less than half that - leaving refugee advocates fearing he's done damage that will last years into the future. Muslim refugees, who during President Barack Obama's final full year in office accounted for nearly half of refugees at this point, are just 17 percent of the total in 2018. And refugees from terrorist hot-spot countries singled out in Mr. Trump's travel ban, who accounted for about half of refugees in 2016, have fallen to less than 5 percent now, according to the latest State Department figures. In one stunning case just 42 Syrians were admitted over the last six months - down from more than 5,000 Mr. Obama admitted from October 2015 through March 2016.

An official also cautioned against reading any yearlong conclusions from where the numbers stand halfway through the year. "Refugee admissions rarely proceed at a steady pace throughout the year. It is premature to predict the number of refugees who will ultimately be admitted in FY 2018," the department said. "The United States continues to prioritize the admission of vulnerable refugees who have been persecuted because of race, political opinion, nationality, religion, or membership in a particular social group," an official said. 7. U.S. Electric Grid Vulnerable to Unprecedented Waves of Attack - FreeBeacon

The U.S. electric grid has become increasingly vulnerable to what the federal government is describing as an unprecedented wave of attacks that threatens to cripple the nation, according to a new investigative report that warns the energy industry is lagging in efforts to boost physical security of these critical sites. Amid a wave of increasing attacks across the country on key power stations, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, or NERC, has been struggling to force the power industry to enact a series of security improvements meant to stop would-be attackers and terrorists from crippling the nation's infrastructure. Since 2014, "security risks to the power grid have become an even greater concern in the electric utility industry," according to a new Congressional Research Service report that warns the power industry "has not necessarily reached the level of physical security needed based on the sector's own assessments of risk."

In the three years since federal overseers implicated a series of new standards for physical security of grid locations, the industry has worked to improve its defenses but has struggled to implement all of the government's recommendations, according to the report. The slow moving pace of reforms, combined with an increased threat level and inability of the federal government to warn of upcoming attacks, has fueled concerns that the U.S. electric grid could be easily taken down by a rogue actor. 8. Bozell Announces 'Fact-Checking the Fact-Checkers' Project: 'Americans Deserve the Truth' - CNS News

The Media Research Center (MRC) has launched a new project: Fact-Checking the Fact-Checkers. As major news outlets increasingly rely on leftist "fact-checkers" to verify the credibility of news, this MRC initiative will vigilantly ensure the fact-checkers themselves are reliable - or, expose them as liberal partisans if they aren't. "In an era of 'fake news' and inaccurate reporting, it is important now more than ever that the fact-checkers themselves are exposed for their biases," MRC President Brent Bozell said Tuesday in a statement announcing the project.

Fact-Checking the Fact-Checkers will rate the pronouncements of the so-called fact-checkers and call out their liberal dishonesty, Bozell said: "MRC routinely finds instances when fact-checkers bend the truth or disproportionately target conservatives. We are assigning our own rating to their judgments and will expose the worst offenders." According to a 2016 Rasmussen poll, an astonishing 62% of American voters believe fact-checkers are biased. "There must be accountability across the board, and that includes these alleged arbiters of fact and fiction," Bozell said, declaring: "Americans deserve the truth." (Read more)

9. Cambridge Analytica Whistleblower: Facebook Able to Listen to You at Home and Work - PJ Media

Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christoper Wylie, appearing before a committee of British MPs on Tuesday, said that Facebook has the ability to spy on users in their homes and offices. The British parliament is investigating Cambridge Analytica's involvement in the Brexit election. MP Damian Collins, who chaired the committee, asked Wyle whether Facebook has the ability to listen to what people are talking about in order to better target them with ads. "There's been various speculation about the fact that Facebook can, through the Facebook app on your smartphone, listen in to what people are talking about and discussing and using that to prioritize the advertising as well," Collins said. "Other people would say, no, they don't think it's possible. It's just that the Facebook system is just so good at predicting what you're interested in that it can guess." He asked for Wylie's thoughts on the possibility.

Facebook has long denied allegations that its app listens in on users in order to customize ads. "I run ads product at Facebook. We don't - and have never - used your microphone for ads. Just not true," Rob Goldman, vice president of ads products at Facebook, tweeted on October 2017. "That includes Facebook-owned Instagram," he added. But users have raised concerns about the practice after observing that they've been targeted with ads for products they've never expressed an interest in online. Many Facebook users have reported examples and alleged evidence that the app is listening in on their conversations. During the hearing, the former employee of Cambridge Analytica, who told MPs that he's a "progressive Euroskeptic," was also asked whether the company used "coercion to achieve their desired electoral results." 10. U.S. Trade Report Lays Bare Chinese Government Cyber Espionage - Asia Times

China's government is engaged in a systematic program of cyber attacks on American and foreign companies, according to a US government trade report made public last week. The cyber intrusions into corporate networks are one of four areas identified by the office of the US Trade Representative as unfair trading practices. These have prompted the administration of US President Donald Trump to impose tariffs on Chinese products in the coming weeks. The other areas outlined in the USTR report include restrictions on businesses operating in China designed to induce technology transfers, and systematic acquisitions of technology companies to obtain advanced commercial know-how.

This is the first time the US government has called out the Chinese government for its cyber activities, despite intrusions that have grown in scale and sophistication since at least 2008. The report charges Chinese cyber attacks service strategic objectives that are aligned with national industrial policies. As part of its overall strategy, the Chinese government denies any role in the attacks. "As the global economy has increased its dependence on information systems in recent years, cyber theft became one of China's preferred methods of collecting commercial information because of its logistical advantages and plausible deniability," the report says. The Chinese cyber thefts have continued despite an agreement reached in 2015 between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Barack Obama to curtail government-sponsored cyber espionage. The report concludes that in contravention of the agreement "the evidence indicates that China continues its policy and practice, spanning more than a decade, of using cyber intrusions to target US firms to access their sensitive commercial information and trade secrets." - Father, we pray this report will help develop solutions to our trade relationship with China.

- Gaining wealth through dishonesty is no gain at all. But honesty brings you a lasting happiness. (Proverbs 10:2)

Activist Journalism and deceit

When I was in journalism school in the 1970s there was a new style of journalism that was creeping into the American culture. It started in happy talk news casts and morphed into do-gooder pieces disguised as investigative reporting. You would see newscasters talking about something good that happened in the community because channel whatever's investigative team took the establishment to task for violating someone's rights. This was called advocacy because it used the power of journalism to take a side-something true journalists were not supposed to do. Over the years, this has morphed into activism journalism where journalists take a political position while still posing as journalists.

Various pollsters have surveyed the media and have found that well over 90% of them vote Democratic and support Democratic issues, which in today's terms means they are progressive, a polite term for communistic. When you marry the communist with the activist journalist, you get a hybrid that promotes communist propaganda and supports the most communist political position available. This a true danger, among many, to the Constitutional Republic that the communists want to deconstruct and pillage. Today's journalism is an excellent case study in activism. So-called journalists disguise their activism by passing it off as unbiased reporting. It has the look and feel of news, but it's propaganda.

Let me pose an example. The progressives want to take down President Donald Trump. There is no greater goal they have. They know that traditional Americans have a distaste for politicians cheating on their wives, so they have filled the airwaves, internet, and print sources with stories about the President sleeping with porn stars and Playboy models. One would think that's all this President has done, although it's reporting on events years ago. Let's rewind. President Bill Clinton is having an affair with an intern in the Oval Office. The media, who wants to protect Clinton because he is a fellow progressive, says that what he does in his private life is his own business. The media castigated Clinton's many victims.

No doubt, the media also used a different standard with the immediate ex-"president," who allegedly had many exploits at an all-male Chicago bathhouse, and homosexual affairs with Donald Young, Larry Sinclair and others. The media refused to report on these past encounters because what a person does in his private life is his own business. But when it's someone who opposes their progressive agenda, as does Trump, the private life suddenly becomes public interest. Proverbs 6:16-19 says the Lord hates these six things: "A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren."--Pretty much a description of modern activist journalism and their brand of politics.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Who Is David Hogg?

About David Hogg:

Young student at Parkland High experiences sudden rise to fame,
leading nationwide protest for gun control
Dear Friends,

As we gazed upon our TV screens last weekend, I am sure that many of you, like me, became rather alarmed at how quickly the "March for Our Lives" movement came together, and at the numbers of protestors who were marching on our streets in eight major cities in America, essentially demanding reform of our gun control laws, "for the safety of our citizens."

And all of this was organized in only five short weeks!
How, we wondered, could all of this be happening so quickly in our nation? And who is behind this activity?
On Monday, a friend sent over an article which he titled "Hitler and our Youth." The actual title of this work is:

"Hitler Youth" - student gun control march invades Washington, follows in the footsteps of Nazis who disarmed the Jews before the Holocaust

Produced by NaturalNews.com, this article strips away the veneer that the media has shown about this march and focuses, in particular, on the personality of its key leader: David Hogg.
> > > Please be forewarned: due to the foul-mouthed rhetoric of this kid's speech, this article is very difficult to view.

The photos also go back in time, showing Hitler's SS troops gunning down Jews on the streets in Germany. But, WE MUST NEVER FORGET!

Without further comment, here is the link to this article:
THIS IS NOT AN ESSAY TO BE SEEN BY CHILDREN, AND PLEASE BE SURE TO SUBMIT YOUR MIND TO CHRIST BEFORE VIEWING THIS ARTICLE.

At first, we hesitated to pass this on to you, but we do need to know the truth of what we are now facing, so that we can then pray effectively for our enemies. Thank you.

- Father, we come against the principalities and the powers that are roaring across this nation: forces of hatred, violence, unforgiveness and destruction. We ask You to forgive those who are promoting this move, and to deliver them from evil.

Help us, Father, to know Your will in this hour for our nation, and to seek Your face for strategies that will dismantle this rising scourge of violence in America. Help us, O Lord, we pray, in Your name, amen.

- "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19b)

#TruthMatters

#TruthMatters:

Step #1: Acknowledging we have a problem

"There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land. By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, They break all restraint, With bloodshed upon bloodshed. Therefore the land will mourn; And everyone who dwells there will waste away." ~ Hosea 4:1-3 (NKJV)

Dear Christian Warriors:

This Holy Week is a perfect time for Truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. There is a book entitled: "Learning to Tell Myself the Truth." I've always liked this title, because so much pain and sorrow comes from self-deception and self-delusion. In order for Satan to trip up Eve, she had to first BELIEVE THE LIE.

. . . in order to truly REPENT, it is not simply enough to acknowledge we have sinned . . . we have to move BEYOND it and have a change of mind AND behavior.
Here at National Day of Repentance, we don't believe REPENTANCE is a political issue. It's a personal and national issue.

Unless we acknowledge our sin and what got us here in the first place and then turn away from it and turn around, we will collapse.

Confronting Evil in the Love of Christ

Confronting Evil in the Love of Christ:

How to Win on the Battlefield

A Teaching on Forgiveness by Dr. Yolanda McCune,
Kingdom Culture Coordinator, Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network (HAPN)

[These notes were taken yesterday during a conference call with Dr. McCune. Names have been redacted, upon request.]

"Everything we are hearing and I think we are seeing too is that we want them to receive God's love, we want them to experience freedom, we want them to know Him as we know Him. All of you have that tool. I know J___ has gone into all her situations and said to these people, "Your sins are forgiven." What we are doing is removing those barriers, those false weights of sin. Not their own personal individualized sin towards salvation, but we're removing those barriers that Satan keeps these people . . . in a place where they cannot hear you. So I was just thinking particularly P___ with the son P___ [who is on the spectrum -- autism]. If you say to P____ your sins are forgiven, it's the same thing as that paralytic man. When Jesus said his sins were given, his healing came. He said, "Son, your sins are forgiven." Specifically, he was saying it as the Son of Man, which is yours and my pattern. So I think those are tools and weapons when you run up against these situations in people before you even try and engage in any rational or reasonable conversation or analytical anything, you've got to say to them, not audibly, but spiritually, "Your sins are forgiven. I am an ambassador of the Most High King and I have authority to remove the evil atmosphere."
And that's what this is all about this month, is removing the evil atmosphere that has controlled the battlefields. Everything is a battlefield, but if the enemy can control the atmosphere, it brings chaos, fear, misunderstanding, deception, everything to whoever walks onto the battlefield. But the reason God said you send Judah first is literally because Judah comes in with the sound of God. The sound of God is love and forgiveness and all these things. Judah comes in and takes control of the atmosphere over the battlefield so that when the people come onto the battlefield, the atmosphere is controlled by God. So he gets to bring the result of the battle to his way.
If we can start thinking in terms of that, we will see a change. If this person is causing me great agony, if I can see the evil ministering to him, that's the first thing that I do, is release them ... So often it's how we view them, it's our point of view as to how much love we can actually extend to them. Because when they manifest the evil and they start walking in that evil, we recognize that it is so wrong and it is really difficult for us a lot of times to extend God's love and thanksgiving to them. But that's what he is saying. Before they ask for it, before they figure it out, before they get it, that's when we extend the forgiving and literally just to bring that off of them.
It's like what I tell people, when Jesus was walking the earth, he had this unbelievable ability to look at all the people that were captured by the enemy and he never once saw them in that state. He saw them in the state God intended for them to be. So when he would look at them, that was all he was trying to do, is release them from the slavery that they were to the evil and to let them become, or come into their God-given identity and state. That's been something that I think we in America, we just haven't done that very well. The Christians hurt us the most with their words. We've got to get to the place where we still have our stand against evil, but if we can even to ourselves release that point of view so we can say, "Show me how they really look." Because are they acting evil? Or are they just under the influence of evil and we can remove that so they are just acting normal for what they know. If this is all they know, they don't know anything. But we have the power to remove it so that they may know more. That they may know the love of God, the forgiving of God, the power . . . so it's changed the way I think about a lot of things because before I go into wage those wars, I change the atmosphere. I send Judah first and I do that by saying the sins are forgiven over this battlefield and over this person.

Part Two - The Passover Lamb

Our Resurrection Readathon

You're Invited!

. . . to Join our Special "RESURRECTION DAY BIBLE READATHON" This Weekend: Good Friday through Resurrection Sunday!

Dear Friends,

We greet you all today in the Name of our Lord, Christ Jesus, amen!

By now, many of you may be aware that, ever since October 31st, 2016, our ministry has been hosting the reading of the Word of God, nonstop, every night. We read the whole Gospel: from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation . . . and when we reach the end of His Word, the shofar is sounded, and we begin again!

As of this week, we are about to complete 35 readings of the whole Counsel of God! Hallelujah and Amen!

As we reflect on these past seventeen months of these readings, we are blessed to know that, it is written:

"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
This weekend, however, the Spirit of the Lord is directing us -- for the first time -- to take a "detour" (or a "time out" if you will) from our regular reading program, and focus solely on the Greatest Story ever told:

the death, burial and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday morning, March 30th, we will begin reading in the Book of Matthew. Our facilitators will guide you in the reading, as we continue following the schedule below . . . reading through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Every night for three nights, we will study the life of Christ according to these four gospels, and rejoice when we witness His Amazing Grace fulfilled by His Resurrection power on Resurrection Sunday!

WE INVITE ALL OF YOU TO JOIN US IN THIS SPECIAL RESURRECTION READATHON AS FOLLOWS:

Friday, March 30th (GOOD FRIDAY) - 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. EST [Beginning at 11:01 p.m. CDT; 10:01 p.m. MDT; 9:01 p.m. PDT]

Saturday, March 31st (HOLY SATURDAY) - 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. EDT [Beginning at 11:01 p.m. CDT; 10:01 p.m. MDT; 9:01 p.m. PDT]

SUNDAY, APRIL 1ST (RESURRECTION DAY) - 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. EDT [Beginning at 11:01 p.m. CDT; 10:01 p.m. MDT; 9:01 p.m. PDT]

When you call in during any of these six-hour periods, the reader who is on the line will stop and tell you where she or he is in the Scripture. And when we reach the end of each chapter, the facilitator will welcome you to the call, inviting you, too, to read His Word out loud with us.

COME JOIN US IN HONORING OUR LORD DURING THIS HOLY TIME.

Call 712-770-4340; Access Code 350430# this coming weekend on Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning, aligning the confession of our mouths with His Glorious Word, amen!

Classic Hymns

O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing

"I . . . heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands." (Revelation 5:11)

Lyrics

O for a thousand tongues to sing My great Redeemer's praise, The glories of my God and King, The triumphs of His grace!

My gracious Master and my God, Assist me to proclaim, To spread through all the earth abroad The honors of Thy name.

Jesus! the name that charms our fears, That bids our sorrows cease; 'Tis music in the sinner's ears, 'Tis life, and health, and peace.

He breaks the power of canceled sin, He sets the prisoner free; His blood can make the foulest clean, His blood availed for me.

He speaks, and, listening to His voice, New life the dead receive, The mournful, broken hearts rejoice, The humble poor believe.

Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb, Your loosened tongues employ; Ye blind, behold your Savior come, And leap, ye lame, for joy.

In Christ your Head, you then shall know, Shall feel your sins forgiven; Anticipate your heaven below, And own that love is heaven.

Glory to God, and praise and love Be ever, ever given, By saints below and saints above, The church in earth and heaven.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
Friends may participate by receiving our daily prayer alerts. You may contact us at chpp1994@gmail.com for more information. CHPP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry. Thank you and God bless you!
