3. UN, EU call for halt to demolition of Area C structures - Jerusalem Post

Israel must halt its demolitions of illegal Palestinian and Beduin structures in Area C of the West Bank, the United Nations and the European Union said on Wednesday. The call came just days after Israel initiated bureaucratic proceedings to demolish an entire herding village, al-Khan al-Ahmar, located on the edge of Route 1, just outside of the Kfar Adumim settlement.

The Coordinator for Humanitarian Aid and UN Development Activities for the Palestinian territories, Robert Piper, and the Director of UN Relief and Works Agency Scott Anderson, visited al-Khan al-Ahmar. "Al-Khan al-Ahmar is one of the most vulnerable communities in the West Bank, struggling to maintain a minimum standard of living in the face of intense pressure from the Israeli authorities to move to a planned relocation site," said Piper. "This is unacceptable and it must stop." (Read more)

In front of six billionaires and 450 of Australia's business and polit¬ical elite, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin¬ Netanyahu yesterday heralded a new era of closeness betwee¬n Israel and Australia.

If the two nations had already been close at an official level, a lunch held only hours after the Israeli¬ leader's plane landed in Sydney took the relationship to a new level.

"When I colour the map," Mr Netanyahu told the gathering of key leaders of Australia's Jewish community in Sydney's Darling Harbour, "I colour Australia the same colour as I colour the United States." He stayed at the function for more than two hours - giving his speech about the two countries then answering questions as he sat on stage next to MalcolmTurnbull. Throughout the event, the Australian Prime Minister referred to "Bibi" - the Israeli PM's nickname: "as Bibi and I were just discussing", "Bibi and I first met in Israel in 2004, where I had been meeting with leaders in technology, science and investment", and "Bibi and I have already spoken to a number of Australian business leaders". Is America set up for a coup?

My ministry partner of 25 years, William Agbeti, has been through six coups d'état in Ghana spanning from 1966 through 1981. Only one failed. I asked him to analyze the factors of those coups and compare them with the current situation in America to see if there were similarities. He said, "All the FACTORS that play out for coups d'état are currently PRESENT in the US. Most of these FACTORS are oftentimes masterminded. The stage is being set for perhaps America's first coup d'état." Agbeti went on to identify the various indicators already in place that may contribute to an overthrow of the US government in some form or another. Did the previous "president" set the stage for a third-world coup in the US? Read on.

Agbeti says, "Coup makers in Ghana belonged to one, part or all of the following categories of persons: disgruntled leaders, power-drunk individuals, stoogies fronting for organized criminals, over-ambitious adventurers, ex-heads of state with unfinished agendas, opposition members who have created a shadow government, die-hard individuals with sympathetic ears to foreign powers desirous of entrenching and superimposing their interests (or way of life) on a nation. Master minds, employing state oppression as an excuse, using mainstream mass media, institutions, and instigating groups of people to pour out into the streets to create well-organized mass revolts, easily paved the way for successful coups. These master minds belonged to shadow governments with hidden agendas."
In conclusion, Agbeti says if there is a coup in the US, "It may come in one of several forms: widespread civil disobedience that gives legitimacy to call for the resignation of Trump, "occupy" versions of coups, planned resignations from and rejections of Government appointments, massive funding of key institutions used by the shadow government to protest new government policies, etc." When you think about the George Soros-funded professional protestors and the vitriol hate of the malcontents in this country, the unthinkable factors described by Agbeti come into focus. There are strongholds in place that threaten our inalienable rights. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 says, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." Let us pray and act.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The Real Hacking Story

The Real Hacking Story

[Please note: We first reported this story to you on The Daily Brief on Monday, February 22nd. Here, now, is "the rest of the news."]

We've heard a lot (probably too much) about alleged Russian hacking of the Democrat National Committee and other liberal figures. But I've been waiting for another hacking story to break in the mainstream media. So far, it has gone largely unnoticed. But the details expose the media's outrageous left-wing bias.

Several weeks ago, three Pakistani brothers who did computer work for multiple House Democrat offices were fired. A criminal investigation, involving at least five people, is currently underway, but reports suggest that they accessed the computer files of members of Congress and perhaps even the House Intelligence Committee.

Today there is news -- not from the mainstream media, but the conservative Daily Caller -- that the "Congressional aides suspected of criminally misusing their access to House computer systems owed $100,000 to an Iraqi politician who is wanted by U.S. authorities and has been linked to Hezbollah."

Now doesn't this sound like a really juicy story that most enterprising journalists would eagerly dig into? You'd think so. Except this one involving Democrats and Pakistanis and Hezbollah doesn't fit the left-wing narrative or easily lend itself to Trump-bashing! (Gary Bauer)

Melania and the Lord's Prayer

Melania and the Lord's Prayer:

Two articles to note

1. Thank First Lady Melania Trump for reciting The Lord's Prayer at rally - American Family Association
At a rally last Saturday in Melbourne, Florida, First Lady Melania Trump began the event by reciting The Lord's Prayer. See the video here.

I was encouraged and deeply moved by the fact that we have a First Lady who is not afraid to let her faith be known, and to share it publicly. I was equally inspired by the enthusiastic response of the crowd, many of whom joined Mrs. Trump in reciting the prayer.

By reciting the prayer, Mrs. Trump has reminded all of America that the Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest hope for our country and our future. Our nation needs to be reminded of the power of God - "For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen." It is my prayer that she will continue to honor God by leading with this prayer in future rallies.

2. Why Melania Trump Leading the Public in the Lord's Prayer at a Rally in Florida Was an Historic Event - Charisma News

We just witnessed Melania Trump's finest moment as first lady so far. . .

After beginning with the phrase "let us pray," Melania stunned the entire world by slowly but carefully leading the crowd in the Lord's Prayer, and it is being reported that the assembled throng responded to her prayer with "thunderous applause."

She did not pronounce all of the words perfectly, but that didn't matter.

What matters is that her courage enabled her to create the most powerful moment that we have seen from a First Lady in decades. . .

(Read more here, including a step-by-step analysis of the impact of GRACE her action has released upon our nation, by this one simple act of obedience. Amen.)

On the Hill with Chaplain Black

A Look at Spirituality Inside the U.S. Senate with Chaplain Barry Black:

One Senator Led 13 Heads of State to Christ

U.S. Senate Chaplin Barry Black is the spiritual leader for some of the most powerful people in America; he's not only the pastor for 100 senators, he also ministers to about 600 others on Capitol Hill.

Black is the 62nd chaplain of the Senate and the former chief of chaplains for the U.S. Navy, so some might be surprised when he says there are lawmakers who "dwarf him spiritually."

"We have one senator who has led 13 African heads of state to Jesus Christ," he told CBN News.

Black would not name the senator, but he went on to say that several lawmakers are very strong Believers.

"I mean I haven't led a single African head of state to Jesus Christ and this senator has been able to do that. You have several ordained ministers in the Senate, Yale Divinity School, this kind of thing. They bring their spirituality," he said.

The nation's pastor recently brought down the house at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC, sparking cheers and inspiring thousands of audience members to jump to their feet.

During the speech he talked about Republican and Democrat lawmakers attending Bible studies together, holding hands and praying.

In an interview with CBN News about his new book, "Nothing to Fear: Principles & Prayers to Help You Thrive in a Threatening World," he shared his thoughts on the reasons behind the political divide in the nation.

"I think it's because we have an enemy," he said.

"The devil is at working trying to divide us, but I'm so glad that in John 17 our Lord in His intercessory prayer, He could have asked the Father anything for Believers; He said 'Father make them one, as we are one,' and if we're united as people of faith, there's absolutely nothing we can't accomplish in His name."

. . . He also said that the Church as a whole often underestimates the power of prayer.

"We don't grasp the real power of prayer corporately because we are not exercising the privilege of prayer privately. When we discover in our personal lives, our devotional lives, the power of prayer makes a difference. First Thessalonians 5:17 says pray without ceasing ... that's the only thing God has asked us to do continuously and we don't. We're not exercising it," he said.

"What happens when you start praying without ceasing, which means being constantly aware of the presence of God, is you see the power," he concluded. (CBN/Breaking Christian News) Read more here.

Classic Hymns:
AT THE CROSS, AT THE CROSS

(Alas! and Did My Savior Bleed)

"There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all men." (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

Lyrics

Alas! and did my Savior bleed And did my Sov'reign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I?

Was it for crimes that I had done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity! grace unknown! And love beyond degree!

Well might the sun in darkness hide And shut his glories in, When Christ, the mighty Maker died, For man the creature's sin.

Thus might I hide my blushing face While His dear cross appears, Dissolve my heart in thankfulness, And melt my eyes to tears.

But drops of grief can ne'er repay The debt of love I owe: Here, Lord, I give myself away, 'Tis all that I can do.

Refrain: At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart rolled away,
It was there by faith I received my sight,
And now I am happy all the day!

About the Author:

Words: Isaac Watts, 1707

Music: Hugh Wilson, 1800

About the hymn:

In the autumn of 1850, revival meetings were being held in the Thirtieth Street Methodist Church [New York City]. Some of us went down every evening; and, on two occasions, I sought peace at the altar, but did not find the joy I craved, until one evening, November 20, 1850, it seemed to me that the light must indeed come then or never; and so I arose and went to the altar alone. After a prayer was offered, they began to sing the grand old consecration hymn, "Alas, and did my Saviour bleed, And did my Sovereign die?" And when they reached the third line of the fourth stanza, "Here Lord, I give myself away," my very soul was flooded with a celestial light. I sprang to my feet, shouting "hallelujah," and then for the first time I realized that I had been trying to hold the world in one hand and the Lord in the other.

Signs and Wonders

7 new Earth-like exoplanets discovered, NASA announces

Talk about lucky number seven. Astronomers have discovered not one, not two, but seven Earth-sized planets orbiting a star called TRAPPIST-1.

What's more, three of them are in the habitable zone- the happy place where liquid water can exist on the surface of rocky planets, as it's not too hot or cold. (Although liquid water could potentially exist on any of the seven, NASA said, it likes the odds on those three best.) The space agency calls the discovery of the fascinating solar system record-breaking.

"The discovery gives us a hint that finding a second Earth is not just a matter of if, but when," Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters, said at a news conference announcing the discovery.

Zurbuchen called it a "major step forward" towards the goal of answering the very big question: Is there life on other worlds?

The discovery "is very promising for the search for life beyond our solar system," Michael Gillon, astronomer at the University of Liege in Belgium, added during the press conference.

This is the first time astronomers have found so many Earth-sized planets circling the same sun.

Since the seven planets orbit the star-- which is roughly 40 light years away-- fairly close to each other, the view from one planet would reveal other planets to look as big, if not bigger, than the way we see the moon from Earth. (Fox News)

Facing Darkness, a new documentary from Samaritan's Purse, gives an in-depth look at the struggles that came with fighting one of the deadliest epidemics of the century and the faith and determination that eventually led to the recovery of both Dr. Brantly and Writebol.
