1. Mother of Palestinian terrorist threatens future attacks - Israel Hayom
The mother of a Palestinian terrorist killed while trying to carry out a stabbing attack on a Jerusalem bus in October told Lebanese media on Friday that she was proud of her son, and threatened to carry out a stabbing attack of her own.
Muhammad Shamasne boarded an Egged No. 185 bus in October and stabbed two people. They sustained mild injuries, and Shamasne was killed by security forces.
On Friday, his mother arrived at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City, and proudly paraded a photo of her son. She then entered the Al-Aqsa mosque for a prayer service, after which she gave an interview to Lebanon's Al-Quds television channel.
2. Israel reportedly constructing an underground wall around Gaza - Washington Post
KIBBUTZ EIN HASHLOSHA, Israel - Israel is reportedly constructing a deep underground wall around the Gaza Strip, in an attempt to counter the threat of assault tunnels built by Hamas militants who rule the coastal enclave.
The move, which comes almost two years after Israel fought a deadly 50-day war with Hamas in Gaza, was reported by the Israeli news outlet Ynet.
Israel's Defense Ministry declined to comment on the initiative.
On Friday morning, two oversize excavators sat silhouetted on the horizon here. Their location marked the point where the fields of this agricultural cooperative touch the edge of the Gazan town of Khan Younis.
3. Israel kicks off Cybersecurity Conference to tackle global threats - Times of Israel
Cybersecurity professionals from Israel and around the world are meeting in Tel Aviv this week with policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors and academics, including some from INTERPOL and NATO. They will discuss cybersecurity threats facing the international community today and the latest advances in cyber technology.
The discussions and meetings, part of the 6th Annual International Cybersecurity Conference, also known as Cyber Week, will last till June 24. They are organized by Tel Aviv University's Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center, together with the Israeli National Cyber Bureau and Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
4. Foreign Ministry: International conferences distance peace - Israel National News
The Foreign Ministry on Monday evening rejected the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council's decision to adopt the French peace initiative and act to convene an international peace conference in accordance.
"Peace with the Palestinians can only be achieved through direct, bilateral negotiations without preconditions," the Foreign Ministry said.
"International conferences like the ones welcomed today by European Union's Foreign Affairs Council distance peace because they allow the Palestinians to continue to avoid direct talks and compromise," the ministry added.
A statement released by the EU Foreign Affairs Council said it "reiterates its support for a just, sustainable and comprehensive resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and peace and stability in the region. The EU is determined, alongside other international and regional partners, to bring a concrete and substantial contribution to a global set of incentives for the parties to make peace."
5. 'Anti-Netanyahu incitement has crossed every line' - Israel Hayom
"I'm worried about the incitement against [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and other leaders," Likud MK Avi Dichter, the chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said on Sunday, referring to the harsh criticism recently leveled by former Defense Ministers Moshe Ya'alon and Ehud Barak, as well as other leftist politicians, against Netanyahu. "We saw what happened in England, where differences over policies led to the tragic event of a parliament member being murdered."
Dichter stated that "The incitement in Israel crossed every line long ago." He further noted that leftist claims of "budding fascism" in Israel were "bizarre."

1. IS regains control of areas it lost to Syrian government - CNS News (AP)
The Islamic State group has launched a counteroffensive in Syria's northern province of Raqqa, retaking wide areas the militants recently lost to government troops. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Tuesday that the government forces have lost all territories they gained in Raqqa province since launching their offensive in early June.
- Father, we are broken-hearted for war-torn Syria. We ask that You would bring Your peace to Syria, that each person in Syria would come to know You and the power of Your resurrection.
- "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." (Ephesians 1:18-19a)
2. ISIS Encouraging Attacks on U.S. Air Force Bases, South Korea Intelligence Agency Says - Washington Free Beacon
ISIS has called on sympathizers to carry out attacks on more than 70 U.S. and NATO air force bases across the world, South Korea's intelligence agency said Sunday. The militant group's hacking organization, the United Cyber Caliphate, published addresses and Google satellite maps of U.S. air force units in South Korea, CNN reported, citing South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS).
- Father, we pray for Your protection over US forces and our allies around the world. May the plans of our enemies come to nothing.
- "May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him." (Psalm 68:1)
3. Taliban attack buses in south Afghanistan, abduct 60 people - CNS News (AP)
The Taliban on Tuesday ambushed a series of buses and cars in southern Afghanistan's Helmand province, forcing people out of the vehicles and abducting around 60 passengers, an Afghan official said.
The insurgents later said they released all but 27 of those abducted.
- Father, we lift up the Taliban to You. We pray You would nullify their hold on Afghanistan and work out the release of these hostages. Grant the people of Afghanistan Your Peace.
- "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
4. Matt and Melissa Graves to Bury Son Killed by Alligator After Blue Ribbon Themed Funeral Tuesday - Christian Post
Matt and Melissa Graves, parents of 2-year-old Lane Graves who was drowned by an alligator at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida, last Tuesday will remember their son at a funeral mass in Nebraska on Tuesday and want the public to show their support by tying a blue ribbon around a tree.
- Heavenly Father, we pray for this precious family to be restored. Comfort them as only You can.
- "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
5. CDC Reports First Cases of Antibiotic-Resistant Gene Found in Bacteria in US - CNS News (AP)
Scientists have discovered the first cases in the U.S. of a gene that renders infectious bacteria resistant to the "last-resort" antibiotic drug colistin, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) official testified last week during a congressional hearing on the danger posed by "superbugs". The Department of Defense (DOD) first identified the mcr-1 gene in E. coli bacteria in a urine sample taken from a Pennsylvania woman "with no recent travel outside of the country."
- Heavenly Father, we pray You would give our scientists and health officials wisdom and insight as new disease strains require solutions. May they look to You for answers in healing the sick.
- "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance." (Proverbs 1:5)
6. 8 cases remain for Supreme Court - CNS News (AP)
Regulation of Texas abortion clinics, race in college admissions, protections for people living in the U.S. illegally and the public corruption conviction of Virginia's former governor are among the big issues yet to be decided by the Supreme Court. The eight-justice court has eight cases to resolve in the waning days of a trying and mournful term since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia in February. Some of those cases still could end in a 4-4 tie that would leave the lower court decision in place without setting a nationwide precedent.
- Father God, we pray for Your justice to emanate from our Supreme Court in all of their upcoming decisions.
- "My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion." (Proverbs 3:21)

Altering laws and times: FBI claims allah is God
The US Department of Justice and the FBI are among the latest in the "president's" administration to use the name allah and God interchangeably. This is a disgrace. While there are minor differences between reputable Jewish and Christian scholars on the true name of the one true God, it is not allah. Yet presidents Bush, Clinton, Bush, and the current "president" all say they are the same. Now the FBI and the Department of Justice are saying God (YHVH) and allah are one the same. This is blasphemy and should be offensive to every Christian and Jew. The FBI re-released a redacted transcript of the Orlando terrorist attack, restating references to Islamic State, but changing references of "allah" to God.
Justice and the FBI Monday released a joint statement regarding the Orlando terrorist attack, saying: "The purpose of releasing the partial transcript of the shooter's interaction with 911 operators was to provide transparency...Unfortunately, the unreleased portions of the transcript that named the terrorist organizations and leaders have caused an unnecessary distraction from the hard work that the FBI and our law enforcement partners have been doing to investigate this heinous crime. As much of this information had been previously reported, we have re-issued the complete transcript to include these references in order to provide the highest level of transparency possible under the circumstances."
In reissuing the complete transcript, the FBI altered a major fact: they replaced "allah" with "God" in every use of the name during the 50 second transcript and put the describer "[Arabic]" next to the word "God" in each instance. YHVH God does not instruct his people to kill Christians and Jews wherever they are seen. The Koran, the "holy" book of "allah" and the so-called prophet Mohammad, does. It does so contextually and repeatedly. The one true God does not call for enslaving people, beating women, compelling conversion, rape, sodomy, lying, steeling, or murder. The Koran and the hadiths of Islam do-in context and repeatedly. There is no association between allah and YHVH God. None.
The Koran says in Sura 19:29: "Allah forbid that He Himself should beget a son!" Sura 17:111, says "Praise be to Allah who has never begotten a son; who has no partner in His Kingdom..." 2 John 7 says, "Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." We must, at some point, put away our worldly distractions long enough to see what is happening. If this government will lie about God, who is wrapped in our national heritage, there is no end to its deception. With the FBI saying that allah is God, is it not bowing to Sharia? Is this a type and shadow of the Daniel 7 prophecy of altering the laws and the times?
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
Prayers During Ramadan:
June 21st: NIGER
The landlocked North African nation of Niger, a country of sand dunes and desert plains, still has the fresh flavor of freedom on its lips. Under military rule for thirty-one years, violent coups and bloody political infighting have finally unfolded into a fledgling democracy. One of the richest sources of uranium in the world, Niger has instead focused on developing agriculture and raising livestock. Future economic growth is hoped to be found in the mining of gold, coal, and recently discovered oil.
One of the poorest countries in the world, the agricultural economy is frequently destroyed by drought, making it insufficient to support the growing population. Slavery is still practiced in isolated areas of the country. Nigerian children are trafficked for labor in gold mines, sexual exploitation, and begging. Women are abducted and sold into domestic servitude or prostitution, and young boys are kidnapped for work in stone quarries. A land dispute between Libya remains unresolved and often triggers acts of violence.
Less than one percent of the population claims the Christian faith. Ninety-seven percent of the nation is Muslim, with 76% of the people listed as unreached ethnic groups. Christianity is slowly growing through humanitarian efforts such as well-digging, agricultural development, and education. The number of Evangelicals triples every year, though that is not keeping up with population growth. The cultural pressure to maintain the Islamic faith continues to hinder outreach efforts, though indigenous pastors, many of whom have converted to Christianity from Islam themselves, are stepping up as leaders in the fledgling church. Niger still has the taste of political freedom on their tongue. May spiritual freedom in Christ soon quench their eternal thirst with His bottomless well of compassion.
- Pray for focused efforts to evangelize those under the age of 15, half of the overall population.
- Pray for speed and accuracy for the workers translating the Scriptures for many barely reached people groups.
- Pray for a visible Christian presence in society and peace among struggling believers who feel isolated.
