- Lord, we can see many dangers with this controversial proposal and we ask that wisdom be given to the computer companies in their decision. We repent of our sins as a nation, and we ask You to not turn Your face from us, but rather move to help us protect our Constitution and the freedoms we enjoy as American citizens.May the Gospel continue to be preached, without hindrance, throughout the land! In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
- "And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage)." (Galatians 2:4)
3. Liberals Steer Outside Money to Grass-Roots Organizing - NY Times
After months on the sidelines, major liberal donors including the financier George Soros are preparing to inject up to $100 million into independent groups to aid Democrats' chances this fall. - Lord, You are greater and have more power than any money can buy. We still pray for Your intervention in the election and for godly people to be elected - people who know You, who will inquire of You, and be guided by You. Show people who to vote for no matter who has the most money. We pray that those who do the right thing with finances shall not be moved and that they be blessed and placed in office. We ask that corruption in the use of money be exposed and stopped. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
- "He who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe aginst the innocent. He who does these things shall not be moved." (Psalm 15:5)
4. Syria's Muslim Brotherhood rise from the ashes - Reuters

Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Micah 4:2)
1. In surprise move, Netanyahu, Mofaz agree to form unity government, cancel early elections - Ha'aretz
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition chairman MK Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) reached a surprise agreement early Tuesday morning to form a national unity government. Read more.
2. US to allocate $1B to Iron Dome - Ynet News
A US House panel has unveiled a $608 billion defense spending bill that restores some of the programs the Pentagon wanted to cut next year and provides nearly $1 billion for Israel's missile defense systems including the Iron Dome and Magic Wand.
3. Israel warns Hizbollah over Iran - UK Telegraph
Any Hizbollah retaliation to an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities would prompt Israel to launch a war in Lebanon so ferocious that it would take a decade to rebuild the villages it destroys, a senior Israeli military officer has warned.
4. DNA links prove Jews are a 'race,' says genetics expert - Ha'aretz
In his new book, "Legacy: A Genetic History of the Jewish People," Harry Ostrer, a medical geneticist and professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, claims that Jews are different, and the differences are not just skin deep. Jews exhibit, he writes, a distinctive genetic signature. Considering that the Nazis tried to exterminate Jews based on their supposed racial distinctiveness, such a conclusion might be a cause for concern. But Ostrer sees it as central to Jewish identity.

A Word to the wise
Many would agree that the "Church" in the United States is not what is described in the book of Acts. The latter days prophecy of Yeshua in Matthew 24:24 is in full swing: "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." False teaching, even heresy, has permeated our society. The out of context Word of YHVH is used to justify many things from abusive government to corporate greed to specific doctrines of churches and ministries. It has come to the point where just quoting the Bible creates a vitriolic reaction--especially among Christians who disagree with how one views that quote.
It is grievous that man has purposed to follow other men in believing how YHVH's word is to be dispensed and interpreted. It is a curious condition of the human soul and spirit that would accept teaching that is in great error rather than seek out what is truth. It is amazing that if a wrong concept is repeated enough times, it becomes as if it is correct and true, even if it is not. Even more, it is perplexing that men will condemn others viewpoints, belligerently attack the personal character of another, call into question one's faith and walk with the Lord, over doctrine and theology that they have never bothered to study themselves, but someone they follow said is true.
There are far too many doctrines, far too many theologies, far too many versions of truth in the "Church" that not all of them can be correct. The proponents of them cause arguments. Friends become estranged. Evil becomes good and good becomes evil. I was once in a conversation with a friend about a certain subject of the Bible. I read to him the exact verse that refuted his errant belief that was taught to him by a false teacher. He told me that I had a right to be wrong and began arguing semantics of various words in the simple verse. When that didn't work, he argued scientific plausibility. When that argument failed, it became a personal attack. We decided it was best not to discuss it anymore.
Study the Bible for yourself. Take the time to understand. If you do, then you will find the truth. And often, that truth will be far from what is being taught. Psalm 146:3 says, "Do not trust a prince or upon a son of man, for there is no salvation in his hand." When you stand before the Lord, it will not be that teacher, preacher, apostle or prophet who saves you. Yeshua warns in Matthew 7:22,23: "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." A word to the wise: know the Word.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
