Dear Friends,
Grace and peace be unto you through our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus . . .
Two weeks ago tonight, we released our Special Appeal in the face of an imminent financial disaster here, and tonight I am happy to report that I have good news for you!
Due to your wonderful gifts and prayers,THIS DISASTER IS NOW CANCELED and we are well on our way to moving forward through (at least) the rest of this summer!
Tonight, and on behalf of our Board of Directors, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have so generously responded to our cry for help!
My heart is full of joy and gratitude as I write this news to you tonight, not only because of your generous giving (please keep it up!!), but even moreso because of the wonderful letters that many of you took the time to write, as well . . . telling us how much this ministry means to you out there.
THOSE NOTES WERE THE MOST OVERWHELMING OF ALL!!
So this weekend, as we prepare to release another edition of the "OCAP," we are also greatly encouraged to know that we ARE "making a difference" for you, as we continue to "partner in prayer" together for our nation! The LORD quickened us to this work sixteen years ago, and now we understand better than ever before how our alerts are serving each of you, as you frame your own intercession for America, for Israel, and for His Kingdom to come on earth, among us.
What a blessing it is for us to serve you, and our Lord, in this very strategic work!!
In closing, and on behalf of our Executive Board, we ask that the Lord's favor will go before you in all that He leads you to do, and that His blessings overtake you . . . even as you have been such a blessing to us.
"He revived us so we could rebuild the Temple of our God and repair its ruins." (Ezra 9:9)

Dear Friends,
Please be advised that this summer, Capitol Hill Prayer Partners is changing our accounting procedures to reflect the growth of our ministry.
In days past, whenever you gave a gift to CHPP, we then responded with an acknowledgment letter, for tax purposes, for that offering only.
With our new system, we will no longer follow this procedure, but will instead issue one letter to you at the end of the year, listing all of your giving for this year, beginning June 15 through December 31, 2010.
WE DO ASK, HOWEVER, THAT YOU PLEASE RETAIN ALL RECEIPTS FROM CHPP THAT HAVE BEEN SENT TO YOU SO FAR THIS YEAR.
We thank you all for your understanding as we transition to a more streamlined method of accounting, and please know that a great big "thank you" goes with each gift you send!

Again, in response to our appeal, we were impressed with how many of you desired to give contributions to Capitol Hill Prayer Partners online.
So . . . our Board of Directors has been working to set up this system and this, too, will soon be available for you.
