"Latter Rains" Fall in Israel!

UNUSUAL, SIGNIFICANT RAINS FALL IN ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM

On May 12th
very heavy rains fell in the Judean desert, tragically sweeping away 4 Jewish hikers in a flashflood that roared through the dry wadis. Seven other escaped the steams in the desert that the weather service of Israel had clearly warned of. On May 9 - 11 widespread serious rains fell.

On May 16th - Jerusalem Day that the Hebrew calendar marked as 40 years since the modern liberation of Jerusalem back into Jewish hands in the miraculous 6-Day War of 1967 - the heavens celebrated. Heavy thunderstorms struck for 1 - 2 hours on Jerusalem in the early afternoon, storms that were not well predicted, and many official events of celebration were cancelled. Instead, God had His own display. Only Jerusalem was the focus of this isolated supercell...thunders, downpours, significant hail, 1 - 2 inches of rain reported all over the city. Roads were flooded, and the Western Wall plaza had water 5 inches deep. The normal climatological probability of heavy rain in Jerusalem in mid May is close to zero. There has never been a heavy rain on Jerusalem Day since it was established in 1967. Temperatures fell from 70 degrees F. to 56 degrees F. in about an hour. The sky was ferociously dark.

In 2006 Israel had the wettest April ever in modern history. Now in 2007 May is coming in with significant rain. The "latter rains" that God promised for Israel are being manifested.

I believe it is of possibly great prophetic significance that these rains fell so heavily, only in Jerusalem, and only now, after 40 years on this day. The Lord is saying, " I keep My covenant, I am in charge. I am the Lord. Look to Me, Israel...Look to Me and no other!! You saw miracles in the past, but I am getting ready to do much greater things for you, oh My people!

These are the latter rains, very dramatically so ..as goes physical Israel. Expect great blessing also to be poured out on spiritual Israel, His God-fearing church...abundant blessings are going to be poured out soon on Israel. God is carefully watching over His land, especially the Holy City. (David Decker)

Praise the Lord for His glorious showing in all of Israel, especially in Jerusalem. Who can deny the unusual weather patterns - especially those in Israel. We also give thanks to David Decker, a metereologist who lives in Jerusalem, for providing these details that our American media totally ignores. Our hope is in the Lord and His Son Jesus Christ in Whom we have salvation and righteousness. · "For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth." (Isaiah 62: 1)
