1. House Passes Payroll Tax Cut Extension With Keystone Pipeline Provision - Fox News
Defiant Republicans pushed legislation through the House Tuesday night that would keep alive Social Security payroll tax cuts for some 160 million Americans at President Barack Obama's request -- but also would require construction of a Canada-to-Texas oil pipeline that has sparked a White House veto threat.
Passage, on a largely party-line vote of 234-193, sent the measure toward its certain demise in the Democratic-controlled Senate, triggering the final partisan showdown of a remarkably quarrelsome year of divided government. Read more.
- After all of the wrangling and quarreling over this bill, it will take a Christmas miracle to get it passed in the Senate and signed into law by the president. God brought us a miracle 2,000 years ago . . . let's trust Him to do it again!

2. U.N. Floats Global 'Climate Court' to Enforce Emissions Rules - Fox News
The rules of the road the court would presumably enforce are based on the view that these developed countries owe developing countries a "debt" over climate change, and must provide financial aid in addition to taking major steps toward cutting emissions.
- Lord, we know that You are the ultimate controller of climate. We know that all creation is under Your control. We know that many have polluted Your creation physically and spiritually. We ask for Godly wisdom in caring for the environment. Lord, we also ask for justice in the enforcement of this "debt" over climate change. We ask that environmental protection not be used to control people unnecessarily and take away freedom. We ask that any environmental rules and enforcement be right and just. We pray for Your justice in the court decisions. We pray for Your creation to come into alignment with its Creator so that we will have the climate we need. In the name of Jesus we submit our requests. Amen
- "Indeed with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst. I clothe the heavens with blackness, And I make sackcloth their covering." (Isaiah 50:2-3 )
3. MP Warns of Tough Military Response to Violation of Iranian Airspace - Fars News
If the United States' spy drone that was recently downed by the Iranian Armed Forces in the Eastern parts of the country had been a jet fighter, we would have hit all the US military bases throughout the world, a senior Iranian lawmaker warned on Friday.
- Lord, President Obama said he asked for the drone back. We pray that information from it be protected from being used by enemy forces and that somehow it could be returned to the United States. We again pray for protection from Iranian terrorists and that their plans of terror be confused so they would know there is a greater God and that is You, Lord. Lord, we know in the last days there will be perilous times so all we can do is ask in our prayers for mercy.
- "I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob." (Isaiah 49:26)
4. Syria arms missiles with chemical warheads - Todays Zaman
The Syrian regime, which has endured nine months of civil unrest spurred by the Arab Spring as it swept across the Middle East, has armed its medium-range missile arsenal with chemical warheads. Damascus armed 600 one-ton chemical warheads to use in the event of a foreign military intervention.
- Lord, we pray for more intercession to arise about the Arab Spring, chemical warheads, and that truth would arise. There is so much confusion and we know, Lord, You are not the master of confusion. We ask for increased discernment on when and how to pray about these wars and rumors of wars. May we keep watching and praying but most of all may we always keep our eyes on You, our Redeemer. Thank you for being our Redeemer. Let Your kingdom come. In Your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.

5. U.S. Proposes Unmanned Border Entry With Mexico - Fox News
The bloody drug war in Mexico shows no sign of relenting. Neither do calls for tighter border security amid rising fears of spillover violence. This hardly seems a time the U.S. would be willing to allow people to cross the border legally from Mexico without a customs officer in sight. But in this rugged, remote West Texas terrain where wading across the shallow Rio Grande undetected is all too easy, federal authorities are touting a proposal to open an unmanned port of entry as a security upgrade.
By the spring, kiosks could open up in Big Bend National Park allowing people from the tiny Mexican town of Boquillas del Carmen to scan their identity documents and talk to a customs officer in another location, at least 100 miles away.
- Lord, our prayer is simple. We pray for the securing of our borders and a new President and administration that will help secure them. We pray thatholes in the borders be closed and prevented. Lord, set a boundary that those who would bring harm can not pass over. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

6. US-listed firms told to reveal Syria, Iran links - Jerusalem Post
At least a dozen US-listed companies have been told by the US Securities and Exchange Commission to disclose business activity in and with Syria, Iran and others deemed "state sponsors" of terror by the state department, the Financial Times said on Sunday. The inquiries are part of SEC reviews of companies' investment risks to security holders.
- Lord, we pray that companies that are "state sponsors" of terror and corruption be exposed and that leaders would have Godly wisdom to deal with them. We ask that those serving the Prince of this World, Satan, be exposed and that companies would return to relying on Your direction on how to profit for the benefit of others. We pray that innocent companies that are following Your ways be protected and that they would prosper. We ask for the Holy Spirit of truth and revelation to invade business activity. We pray for the Us Securities and Exchange Commission for wisdom in their reviews. Thank you, Lord, for have the authority to pray for our government and business. In Your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen

The Israeli Cabinet voted unanimously Sunday to finance a $160 million program to stanch the flow of illegal African migrants by stepping up construction of a border fence and expanding a detention center to hold thousands of new arrivals.

"All American Muslim" is a TV reality show that follows five Islamic families in Islam's hometown in America--Dearborn, Michigan. It's an Islamic propaganda show designed to convince Americans that Islamists are just normal people like you and me. Sponsors for the show are dropping because Americans are exercising their right to free speech and saying that its a bad place to buy ads. Lowe's decided to pull its advertising support of the program and is receiving huge criticism of it--I guess the activist Islamists in this country do not like the fact that it is a Constitutional right to "build something together" with someone else through the exercise of freedom of speech. It is good that Lowe's and others are doing such.
The American people need to understand and grasp the threat of Islam, no matter how mainstream and peaceful this religion appears in its current stage here in the United States. The Koran specifically instructs all believers to convert, bring into submission or kill Jews and Christians. It is easy to say that Muslims are peaceful here in the US and that Islam is harmless. I once cuddled a baby tiger. It, too, was pretty harmless as a baby, but when I saw it a year later, it was no longer cute and harmless. It was a threat. Islam is a threat to everything in our way of life. Recent homegrown terrorists have been Islamic, even though their names are given as American sounding--their changed names are Islamic.
The 1991 Muslim Brotherhood General Strategic Goal for North America says that every American Muslim must understand their role in the ""Civilization-Jihadist Process""...their work in America is a kind of a grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house..." The idea that "Islam and its Movement become a part of the homeland it lives in" is a key element in "settling" the United Sates. Dearborn, Michigan is the prototype of the Muslim Brotherhood plan. It has all the elements, and now even a reality television show attempting to mainstream Islam in America. This is the same Muslim Brotherhood our president is supporting.
The mere fact that the Council on American Islamic Relations and a slew of other so-called Islamic civil rights groups are crying foul over Lowe's pulling their ads speaks volumes. You see, Lowe's should be able to advertise wherever it wishes. If it decides that it doesn't want to advertise on a certain show, it has that right. Yet the Islamists are saying Lowe's does not have that right. It's just the way Islam is--the very modern supporter of fascism, slavery, terrorism, discrimination--all the things that liberal supporters of Islam say they hate. One other thing: 2 John 7 says, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." What does that tell you?

Update: National Defense Authorization Act
The Conference Report for the National Defense Authorization Act will reach the floor of the House chamber for a final vote of approval on Thursday.
Some sources are now saying that the dangerous amendments which would place American citizens at risk of being detained in military courts with no right to habeus corpus are still in effect in the current language of this bill.
As of today, only 11 members of Congress (both Democrat and Republican) are voicing an objection to these amendments. The group, which included U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Detroit, asked the conferees to "insist the detention provisions be stripped from the bill or modified to protect Americans' constitutional rights."
The number of the National Defense Authorization Act is S. 1867 in the Senate and
H.R. 1540 in the House.
The number of the amendments, attached to this bil and which NEED TO BE REMOVEDl, are Sections 1031 and 1032.
According to Rep. Ron Paul, SB 1867 did pass with language in Section 1031: that America Citizens be subjected to the rules of war; That anyone could be detained indefinitely without trial for committing an act of belligerence Sec 1032 prevents military custody of Citizens, but does not exclude American Citizens from being rounded up, and held in private custody under the rules of war.
