As I peer out my office window into the single digit degrees landscape here in the Washington, D.C. area, I am reminded of all the claims of global warming. Former Democratic Presidential Candidate Al Gore has staked is post-losing career on it. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is breathing fire over it. The United Nations is screaming that something must immediately be done or planet earth will die a death of hell fire caused by human-made emissions. Anyone who dare say that global warming is not what these folks and their green-paid scientists say it is, pay the price of public ridicule. I’ve seen porcupines losing their quills, polar bears swimming, and claims of islands disappearing—all blamed on global warming.Those who say that global warming is not the 10- alarm fire that all the supporters of global warming say it is are condemned, threatened with removal of their professional credentials, and are attacked viciously for being part of the right-wing conservative movement. So, if global warming is such an exact science, what do the global warming alarmists have to fear by a few detractors? And why is anyone who questions global warming cast with a political label? Could it be that the science of global warming is not scientific, but instead, political?
The more one looks into global warming, the more questions arise. For example, the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee asked Dr. Edward Wegman, an expert in computational statistics at George Mason University, to assess the statistical validity of Michael Mann’s study, who’s claim that the 1990’s was the warmest decade and that 1998 was the warmest year of the millennium are considered the single most influential study on global warming. Dr. Wegman found that Mann’s claims “cannot be supported.” Wegman said that due to a lack of statistics “in the more remote past makes the hottest-in-a-millennium claims essentially unverifiable.”
In fact, much of the science of global warming is based on man made models developed by those who support the concept. Could it be the irrefutable “science” of global warming is the same “science” that says man came from an ape or that a fetus is a mass of cell tissue, not a living human being? Could it be that global warming is more political than scientific in that scientists want a long term cash cow for research and leftist groups like the United Nations want to control businesses by establishing a one world order tax? Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Global warming could well be just another means to bring the world under the control of one central government.
