Israel Says Iran Lied

Israel Says Iran Lied

One of the most important events of our day occurred on Monday. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu just told the world in an easy-to-understand video presentation that his intelligence agents broke into Iran's secret nuclear files and stole over 100,000 documents - a half a ton! These files prove that Iran has an ongoing nuclear program and that they are working on a nuclear warhead that has five times the power of that used in Hiroshima.

HERE IS THE COMPELLING PRESENTATION PRESENTED BY NETANYAHU: Go here.

1. Netanyahu says Iran 'brazenly lying' after signing nuclear deal, moved documents to a secret location - Fox News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed new "dramatic" intelligence Monday which he claimed shows Iran is "brazenly lying" about its nuclear weapons program and shows the country is not complying with the vaunted nuclear deal it signed in 2015.

The information was obtained within the past 10 days, Israeli officials told Fox News. Netanyahu said the "half a ton" of files were moved to a "highly secret" location in Tehran after the deal was signed, and contained materials spread over 55,000 pages and 55,000 files on 183 CD's.

"These files conclusively prove that Iran is brazenly lying when it says it never had a nuclear weapons program," he said. Netanyahu displayed what he said was "an exact copy" of the original materials, which are now in a "very safe place" and include incriminating documents, charts, presentations, blueprints, and photos. - Lord, we thank you for revealing this information and ask that President Trump and European nations will move accordingly to break off this "deal."

- "A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape." (Proverbs 19:5)

2. U.S. Confirms Authenticity of Secret Iran Nuclear Docs, Officials See Game Over for Deal - FreeBeacon

U.S. officials and congressional insiders view the disclosure Monday by Israel of Iran's ongoing efforts to develop a nuclear weapon as game over for the landmark nuclear deal, telling the Washington Free Beacon that new evidence of Iran's top secret nuclear workings makes it virtually impossible for President Donald Trump to remain in the agreement.

Senior Trump administration officials confirmed the findings as authentic and praised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's for disclosing thousands of secret documents proving Iran lied about its past work on a nuclear warhead, telling the Free Beacon the revelation was a "powerful presentation" by Israel outlining why the Iran deal must be fixed or killed. 3. Mossad stole Iran's nuke archive and smuggled it back to Israel the same night - Times of Israel

Spies from Israel's Mossad agency discovered the top-secret location of a warehouse used to store Iran's nuclear weapons files, broke into the building, took half a ton of documents and managed to smuggle them back to Israel that same night, The New York Times reported Monday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed the daring operation as he displayed the trove of documents in a presentation aimed at proving that Iran has lied about its atomic weapon's program.

However, he gave few details on how or when the agents managed what he called one of the "greatest achievements" of Israeli intelligence. (Read more)

4. Pompeo: The material provided by Israel is real - Arutz Sheva

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Monday that Israel's newly released package of intelligence on an Iranian nuclear weapons program was authentic and acknowledged that much of it was new to American experts. Pompeo, who visited Israel on Sunday and met Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, was briefed on the material, he told reporters on his plane.

"We've known about this material for a while and we certainly discussed this material yesterday when we were together," said Pompeo, who served as CIA Director before being appointed Secretary of State. "It's been something that's been in the works for a while. I know that there are people talking about these documents not being authentic. I can confirm with you, for you, that these documents are real, they are authentic," he added.

Asked whether the United States had been aware for many years that Iran had a secret nuclear weapons program -- dubbed Project Amad -- before 2004, Pompeo said, according to AFP, "That's partly true. The existence of the Amad program ended roughly in December 2003, January 2004." "It's accurate to say that the knowledge of that, the fact of that, has been known for quite some time, but there are thousands of new documents and new information," he stated. "We're still going through it, there's still a lot of work to do to figure out the scope and scale of it, but it is the case that there is new information about that program." (Read more)

5. Trump answers Netanyahu bombshell on Iran: 'Not an acceptable situation' - Fox News

President Trump called the Iran nuclear deal a "horrible agreement for the United States" in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bombshell allegations about Tehran's covert activity - but stopped short of saying whether he'd abandon the deal ahead of a looming deadline.

The president addressed the claims during a Rose Garden press conference Monday afternoon, moments after Netanyahu held a dramatic presentation revealing intelligence he says shows Iran is lying about its nuclear weapons program.

"That is just not an acceptable situation," Trump said. Trump said Netanyahu's claims show Iran is "not sitting back idly." "They're setting off missiles which they say are for television purposes," Trump said. He added: "I don't think so." (Read more)

6. Iran leader: US will be 'hit multiple times' if it enters conflict with Iran - Ynet News

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calls on US to 'leave' Middle East, says any power challenging Islamic republic will be defeated; US 'provoking region's inexperienced rulers to create further regional crisis'; in meeting with Iranian lawmaker, Syrian President Assad says region's maps being redrawn, 'hostile countries now trying direct aggression after proxies failed.' 1. After Syria strikes, Israeli security cabinet holds emergency meeting - Times of Israel

The high-level security cabinet convened for an emergency meeting on Monday afternoon, hours after missile strikes in Syria reportedly killed some 18 Iranian troops.

Ministers were told to arrive at the Kirya military base, which is also home to the Defense Ministry, in Tel Aviv at 1:30 p.m. The impromptu meeting, which lasted for an hour and a half, focused on the rising tension on Israel's northern borders. Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, who was returning from New York, did not make it back in time for the meeting.

2. Israel Will Continue to Operate Freely in Syria, Defense Minister Says - HAARETZ

Israel will maintain freedom of operation in Syria, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Sunday. "We have no intention to attack Russia or to interfere in domestic Syrian issues," Lieberman said at the annual Jerusalem Post conference. "But if somebody thinks that it is possible to launch missiles or to attack Israel or even our aircraft, no doubt we will respond and we will respond very forcefully."

The remarks came less than a month after a strike on an air force compound in Syria that is under exclusive Iranian control - a strike attributed by Syria, Iran, and Russia on Israel. Several members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in the strike. This past Tuesday, Lieberman said Israel might strike the Russian-made S-300 anti-aircraft defense systems in Syria if they are used against Israel.

3. 'The UN knows that the rules of the game are about to change - Israel National News

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon suggested that the United States would likely terminate its sanctions relief for the Tehran regime next month, effectively terminating the Iran nuclear deal. Speaking in New York on Sunday, Danon said the United Nations 'understands' the likely outcome of President Donald Trump's demand that the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, better known as the Iran nuclear deal, be amended or terminated.

President Trump has set the date of May 12th as a deadline for renegotiating the agreement. If the deal is not amended the White House's satisfaction, Trump has warned, he will terminate sanctions relief for Tehran, a key component of the deal. "When it comes to Iran, everyone in the UN understands that on May 12th the rules of the game will change," said Danon. "This includes the permanent members of the Security Council who are the signatories of the JCPOA."

Danon also discussed threats by the Palestinian Authority and allied member states in the UN to launch new measures in the Security Council and General Assembly against President Donald Trump's decision to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

4. PM authorized to declare war in 'extreme' situations without consulting cabinet
- Times of Israel

In a surprise and potentially far-reaching victory for Benjamin Netanyahu, the Knesset on Monday evening gave the prime minister the authority to declare war or order a major military operation by consulting only the defense minister, and not via a full cabinet vote as the law had previously required.

Sixty-two Knesset members voted the dramatic proposal into law, beating out the 41 opposition MKs who opposed it claiming that the language of the law effectively gives free reign to the prime minister by removing all oversight.

According to the new law, in "extreme circumstances," military operations can be authorized by the prime minister and defense minister alone and will not need a vote by cabinet ministers. The law does not specify exactly what those circumstances may be, or who will determine them, saying only that the case will apply, "if the issue is necessary due to urgency."

5. IDF kills 3 terrorists trying to infiltrate Gaza border - Israel Hayom

Israeli troops thwarted three separate infiltration attempts on the Israel-Gaza Strip border within hours of each other on Sunday, killing three Palestinian terrorists and arresting others, the Israel Defense Forces said. The incidents come against the backdrop of weekly Hamas-led demonstrations and riots on the border over the past month. At least 40 Palestinians have been killed in the border clashes. The protests will continue every Friday with a final mass demonstration in the works for May 15.

The IDF said two terrorists had tried to breach the border fence and infiltrate Israeli territory near the defunct Kissufim crossing, hurling explosive devices at the Israeli soldiers patrolling the area. The troops shot and killed both terrorists. About half an hour earlier, two Palestinians compromised the security fence near Kibbutz Holit and tried to cross into Israel. IDF troops patrolling the area opened fire, killing one of them.

1. Syrian Monitor: Twenty-Six Fighters, Mostly Iranians, Killed in Missile Attack - Breitbart

Syrian state television on Sunday reported that "enemy" rocket attacks struck military bases in Hama province and in the Aleppo countryside, with reports of 26 or more pro-regime fighters, mostly Iranians, killed in the blasts.

SANA, Syria's state-run news agency cited a "military source" claiming that a "new aggression targeted military positions in the countryside of Hama and Aleppo provinces with rockets at around 10:30 PM."

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that one of the blasts, identified as a rocket attack targeting the "Brigade 47 controlled by Iranian forces and regime forces" in the southern countryside of Hama, resulted in the deaths of at least 26 people. The monitor said the casualties included "4 Syrian fighters and the rest are of Arab and Asian nationalities, the greatest portion of whom are Iranian." The monitor said the casualty count is expected to increase, with some 60 fighters still missing. (Read more)

2. Pompeo blasts Iran as 'greatest sponsor of terror,' assures Israel, Saudis - UPI

Mike Pompeo, calling Iran the "greatest sponsor of terrorism in the world," pledged his support to Saudi Arabia and Israel during his first foreign trip as the secretary of state Sunday. Pompeo, who was confirmed by Congress as the top diplomat last week, in both nations repeated President Donald Trump's threat to pull out of the nuclear deal with Iran if it isn't reworked.

"We are determined to make sure [Iran] never possesses a nuclear weapon," Pompeo said at a joint news conference in Riyadh with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir. "The Iran deal in its current form does not provide that assurance." Pompeo, who arrived in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, met with King Salman and his 32-year-old son, Crown Prince Mohammed. Later Sunday, Pompeo spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, where he said strong ties with allies like Israel are "critical to our efforts to counter Iran's destabilizing and malign activity throughout the Middle East, and indeed throughout the world." (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for Mr. Pompeo's trip and the contacts he is making. We pray for Your wisdom to protect him from deception or any plots against him throughout his trip.

3. Paul Ryan boots pro-gay Jesuit as U.S. House chaplain - Lifesite News

Capitol Hill is in an uproar over House Speaker Paul Ryan's request for the resignation of Jesuit, pro-gay chaplain Rev. Patrick Conroy as the official U.S. House of Representatives chaplain.

Conroy resigned yesterday after allegedly being given an ultimatum by Speaker Ryan. According to a report by The Hill, "Four different sources-two from each party-say Conroy was told that he must retire or that he would be dismissed." While those who serve as House Chaplain are expected to conduct themselves in a non-partisan manner, many sources are saying that Speaker Ryan wanted Rev. Conroy out because he had aligned himself with liberal Democrats. Conroy said that Speaker Ryan had recently told him, "Padre, you just got to stay out of politics." In the wake of Conroy's dismissal, NBC reports, "More than 70 Democratic lawmakers have signed a letter demanding answers from Speaker Paul Ryan about his decision to oust the chaplain of the House of Representatives."

Most of the Catholic Democrats questioning Conroy's resignation have long histories of voting in favor of abortion as well as gay and transgender issues. Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, a Democrat from New York, tweeted that Conroy's ouster is a "shameful anti-Catholic move motivated by conservative extremists in Congress." Congressman Maloney is an out gay man "married" to a man. House Speaker Ryan is himself a Catholic. It is not Rev. Conroy's Catholic views which are at issue. It's his spurious views purporting to be Catholic. (Read more)

- Father, we pray the truth about Rev. Patrick Conroy's positions regarding life, homosexuality and the authority of Scripture will be revealed in all discussions regarding his dismissal. We pray House leadership will replace him with a Chaplain full of the Spirit of Christ, bringing peace, love and integrity to the chamber.

- In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
(1 John 3:10)

4. Trump to pull feds out of K-12 education - Washington Times

President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday to start pulling the federal government out of K-12 education, following through on a campaign promise to return school control to state and local officials. The order, dubbed the "Education Federalism Executive Order," will launch a 300-day review of Obama-era regulations and guidance for school districts and directs Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to modify or repeal measures she deems an overreach by the federal government.

"For too long the government has imposed its will on state and local governments. The result has been education that spends more and achieves far, far, far less," Mr. Trump said. "My administration has been working to reverse this federal power grab and give power back to families, cities [and] states - give power back to localities." He said that previous administrations had increasingly forced schools to comply with "whims and dictates" from Washington, but his administration would break the trend.

"We know local communities know it best and do it best," said Mr. Trump, who was joined by several Republican governors for the signing. "The time has come to empower teachers and parents to make the decisions that help their students achieve success." (Read more)

- Father, thank You for removing the Federal Government's influence over school districts- we also ask that You pull out the roots of Common Core all across the nation. We pray that You will remove the leftist indoctrination of our children, and allow Your Presence and truth back into or schools.

- "He who speaks truth declares righteousness." (Proverbs 12:17a)

5. Members of migrant caravan remain defiant after US again denies border entry - Fox News

About 200 migrants trying to cross the U.S. border remain stalled in Mexico while American officials refuse to admit most, if not all, of them. About two dozen women, young children and transgender migrants were escorted toward the processing center by Mexican officials on Sunday - but they were stopped just as they reached the border. Dozens of others remained camped either on blankets. They are prohibited from approaching the San Ysidro border crossing near San Diego. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection official said the border facility had reached capacity.

Members of the caravan said they would not give up, setting up a possible showdown with the U.S. Irineo Mujica of Pueblos Sin Fronteras, the group organizing the caravan, says the U.S. refusal to process the migrants is a "farce" aimed at avoiding having to deal with the Central American asylum seekers. (Read more)

- Lord we pray for protection of the US against this onslaught of illegal migrants, and ask the only those who deserve asylum be granted it. We also take authority over this tactic and bind it up so that it cannot be used again.

- "His own iniquities entrap the wicked man, and he is caught in the cords of his sin."
(Proverbs 5:22)

6. He 'Destroys People': Gohmert Demands Mueller Resign in Report on Bureaucrat's 'Problematic' Past - Fox Insider

Texas Republican Congressman Louie Gohmert called on Special Counsel Robert Mueller to resign and discussed a lengthy report he published on the former FBI director's "problematic" past.

Steve Doocy played video of Gohmert ripping then-Director Mueller during a hearing on the Boston Marathon bombing. Mueller told Gohmert his "facts are not all together (unintelligible)," prompting the lawmaker to challenge the director to tell him where he was lying. Gohmert told Doocy Mueller was not being completely forthright in statements about visiting a Massachusetts mosque frequented by the murderous Tsarnaev brothers.

He said that the Trump-Russia probe is the latest example of Mueller intending to carry out personal vendettas. "He identifies people he doesn't like and destroys them. [He] leaves terrible destruction in his wake," Gohmert said. (Read more)

- Lord we praise You that many are beginning to reveal the truth about Robert Mueller. We ask once again that this witch hunt be put to a final rest so that the President can focus on the major issues confronting America.

- "Behold You desire truth in the inward parts." (Psalm 51:6a)

7. Not everyone was laughing at Michelle Wolf's White House Correspondents' Dinner performance - NY Daily News

The morning after Michelle Wolf roasted Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other Trump administration officials, Washington was split on if the comic went too far at the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner. President Trump capped Sunday night by attacking Wolf and calling for an end to the annual dinner, which he skipped for a second year in a row Saturday. "The White House Correspondents' Dinner was a failure last year, but this year was an embarrassment to everyone associated with it," Trump tweeted.

"The filthy 'comedian' totally bombed (couldn't even deliver her lines-much like the Seth Meyers weak performance)," he said, referencing the 2011 dinner he attended when Meyers roasted him. "Put Dinner to rest, or start over!" The dinner faced admonishment from a menagerie of journalists, lawmakers and pundits after Wolf, a former "Daily Show" writer, similarly targeted the White House press secretary. She compared Sanders to Aunt Lydia, a mean-spirited authority figure in "The Handmaid's Tale," a dystopian TV series, and disparaged her as a flat-out liar. (Read more)

- Father, as the fallout continues over Michelle Wolf's despicable, vile attacks on Sarah Sanders and other Trump Administration officials during the White House Correspondent's dinner, we pray that this will spark a real change in the attitudes of Journalists. Let them see themselves as in a mirror!

- "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart - these, O God You will not despise." (Psalm 51:17)

8. Exclusive: Democrats lose ground with millennials - Reuters/Ipsos poll - Reuters

Enthusiasm for the Democratic Party is waning among millennials as its candidates head into the crucial midterm congressional elections, according to the Reuters/Ipsos national opinion poll.

The online survey of more than 16,000 registered voters ages 18 to 34 shows their support for Democrats over Republicans for Congress slipped by about 9 percentage points over the past two years, to 46 percent overall. And they increasingly say the Republican Party is a better steward of the economy.

Although nearly two of three young voters polled said they do not like Republican President Donald Trump, their distaste for him does not necessarily extend to all Republicans or translate directly into votes for Democratic congressional candidates. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that You will continue to show millennials the truth about what they think they are perceiving. We ask that You soften their mindsets against President Trump, and reveal his heart to them.

- "Cast your burdens on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)

9. Pew: 65% of White Democrats Don't Believe in 'All-Knowing, All-Powerful, All-Loving' God - CNS News

Two-thirds (65%) of white Democrats do not believe in a God or higher spiritual power that is "all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving," Pew Research Center reported Wednesday.

Pew released results of a new survey of more than 4,700 U.S. adults regarding their views on the existence and nature of "God, higher power or spiritual force" showing that 95% of Republicans and 95% of nonwhite Democrats believe in God/higher power. But, only 78% of white Democrats believe in the existence of God/higher power. (Read more)

- Lord, we are extremely grieved that this attitude has infiltrated America and its political parties. Father, forgive them for they know not what they believe. We ask that You seek out the hearts and reveal Yourself to those who don't yet know Yo,u and bring them into the fold before it's too late.

- "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice." (John 10:16a)

10. Billy Graham's Grandson Says He Will Continue His Grandfather's Ministry - Christian Headlines.com

William Graham, grandson of the late Billy Graham, says he will continue his grandfather's ministry and preach "as if Christ is coming back in our lifetime." According to The Christian Post, Graham said his grandfather's message is still needed.

Wiliam Graham is the oldest son of Franklin Graham, Billy Graham's son. He also serves as vice president of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association. "When you get up there and preach God's Word, God's Word does the rest," he said, adding that people are "still looking for the same things in life. . . The Gospel transcends culture, transcends language, transcends politics," he said. (Read more)

- Father God, we end this edition of The Daily Brief, praising You that the message delivered to millions will now live on through his grandson, William. Please protect this brother in the Lord, Father, and grant him all the resources He will need in order to fulfill his mission. We ask in Your name, amen.

- "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15)

Disgraceful White House Correspondent's Dinner

The White House Correspondent's Dinner is usually where the media gets together once a year and roasts the President. In years past, maybe because the "president" has been one of their own (translated: Leftist), the jokes have been tempered with a bit of respect for the office. But then again, the immediate ex-"president" told the attendees in 2016 that the media and his Administration were partners and worked together with the same goals to bring truth to America and to preserve democracy. The current president has refused to even attend the gala, saying that he would rather not be stuck in a room with a "bunch of fake news liberals who hate me." He is right. The dinner was full of left-wing, vulgar disrespect.

Headlining the evening was comedian Michelle Wolf, who left no doubt of the evening's agenda. She attacked Trump and his White House relentlessly with vulgar, inappropriate, disrespectful "jokes" that most Americans would not dare repeat at the dinner table. Sexual innuendo was checked at the door as Wolf openly described sexual body parts, used the slang name of the female sex organ to describe the President; attributed perverted sex acts to members of the Administration, and said Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was an "Uncle Tom" to women-with Sanders sitting at the same table from which Wolf was speaking. She called Sanders and Kellyanne Conway liars and the President a racist.

While not a "White House Correspondent," I often covered the White House when Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan were in office. I also covered the 1980 Presidential campaign between Carter and Reagan. As a reporter, I believed in conducting myself above board, respectfully, yet firmly, showing respect for the Office of the President, while at the same time, a toughness to hold accountability to the truth. One can be friendly, but not friends. Also, as a correspondent or reporter, one must seek to report the news without bias, without a political agenda. If it is your opinion, that must be stated up front. It seems all those rules that good journalists once lived by are gone with this generation.

Allowing an agenda-driven leftist disguised as a comedian to address the premier gathering of America's White House reporters with such blatant disrespect and vulgarity speaks volumes about the character and agenda of those bringing so-called news to the world. The New York Times motto is "All the news that's fit to print." When those reporting the news are unfit, the news is also suspect. A free press should not have a political agenda. Today's press is not free because of its agenda. As the Apostle Paul writes in Romans 1:22, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." Michelle Wolf's vile, inappropriate monologue, as embraced by the White House correspondents, is evidence of their reprobate minds-a disgrace to free speech and to the title "Correspondent."

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

- Father God, we stand on the promise of Romans 8:28 over this abomination that took place in the nation's capital on Saturday evening. We know from Scripture that the enemy, in time, will always overplay his hand, leading to his exposure and to his defeat.

We ask for a written apology to be given to Sarah Huckabee Sanders by the WHCD, and for the members of the White House Press Corps to "rein in" their own rhetoric against this President. In You Name, amen.

- "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
