The Nation of France Honored by State Visit

1. Trump, Macron honor 'joint history' between US, France at White House state dinner - Fox News

President Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron toasted the Franco-American alliance at the White House Tuesday evening to mark the first state dinner of the Trump administration. In his pre-dinner toast, Trump expressed his hope that "our friendship grow even deeper ... our kinship grow even stronger and . . . our sacred liberty never die."

Macron, in a much more expansive toast, referred to recent airstrikes on Syria by the U.S. and France as part of the two countries' "joint history" of leading fights "for freedom and to defend our values. We have always been there for the appointments of this joint history," Macron said. "And this is the reason why today we have no alternative but to be there also for an appointment with history."

Trump devoted the first part of his toast to thanking his wife Melania, whom he described as "America's absolutely incredible first lady," for pulling the dinner together. Macron opened with an arch joke about James Monroe renovating the White House with French furnishings after British troops burned Washington D.C. in 1814, calling the fifth president "a man of taste." 1. We May Hit Russian Systems in Syria, Israel Says After Threats of 'Catastrophic Consequences' - Haaretz.com

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday that Israel may strike the Russian-made S-300 anti-aircraft defense systems in Syria if they are used against Israel.

"One thing should be clear - if someone fires on our planes, we will destroy them," Lieberman said in an interview with the Israeli website Ynet. "What's important to us is that the weapons defense systems that the Russians transfer to Syria are not used against us. If they are used against us, we will act against them."

Lieberman's comments come a day after senior Russian officials told the Kommersant newspaper that Russia is expected to provide the Bashar Assad regime with S-300 anti-aircraft defense systemssoon. If Israel attacks the new air defense systems, then it will suffer "catastrophic consequences," the officials said.

2. PA expected to join Hamas in encouraging violence as US moves embassy to Jerusalem - Jerusalem Online

The Palestinian Authority is planning to join Hamas in focusing extensive efforts on encouraging acts of violence ahead of the transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem, Hadashot reported on Monday.

The Israeli news network spoke with a "senior political official" about the expected violence. According to the unnamed source, the embassy opening in Jerusalem is one of the cases that is "worth the price" of a violent response. "There are no free meals," he added. "This is a historic and significant process that Israel must not pass up."

3. Jewish Home issues ultimatum - Israel National News

The Jewish Home party will withdraw its support of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's coalition government in all future Knesset votes if legislation limiting the ability of the Supreme Court to overrule laws passed by the Knesset is not advanced, party officials warned Tuesday.

In a message to party members, Jewish Home leaders announced that the party's eight-MK delegation would refrain from voting with the coalition government beginning on May 6th if the government fails to advance the so-called "Override Clause" supported by Jewish Home chief, Education Minister Naftali Bennett.

The proposal would add a clause to the Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty, explicitly empowering the Knesset to overrule the Supreme Court and reenact laws nullified by the Court. (Read more)

4. Hezbollah leader accuses Israel of assassinating Arab scientists - Israel Hayom

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Monday said Israel was behind the assassination of Hamas operative and Palestinian engineer Fadi al-Batsh in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, alleging that Israeli agents were systematically assassinating Arab scientists.

On Saturday, two men on a motorcycle fired 10 shots at engineering lecturer and Hamas rocket expert Batsh in Kuala Lumpur, killing him on the spot.

In a speech broadcast to a campaign rally in the Shiite Beirut neighborhood of Dahiyeh ahead of Lebanon's elections next month, Nasrallah said Israel was hunting academics down around the world.

5. Lieberman: Russia's S-300 system in Syria will be destroyed if it's used against Israel - Jerusalem Online

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said in an interview with Ynet on Tuesday that Israel is ready to defend itself against any Russian S-300 anti-aircraft defense system in Syria. "The Russians have no reason to initiate conflict with us and vice versa," he said.

While responding to threats that Russia is planning to aid Syria by providing it with the highly destructive S-300 system, Lieberman promised to make sure that these systems are not aimed at Israel. "If they act against us - we will act against them," he added.

6. 20 civilians killed in 'Palestinian refugee camp' in Syria - Israel National News

Around 20 civilians have been killed in week-long regime airstrikes on Yarmouk, a neighborhood of Damascus referred to as a "Palestinian refugee camp", the Turkish Anadolu news agency reported on Tuesday.

Several people were injured in the attacks, local sources told the news agency on condition of anonymity due to security concerns.

According to the sources, regime forces were trying to advance from the southern side of the camp, which accommodates some 2,500 families, amid heavy bombardment.

The attacks come after the regime and the Islamic State (ISIS) group failed to reach a deal on evacuating the group's jihadists from Yarmouk and its vicinity.

1. France agrees to 'work on a new deal' with Iran - Jerusalem Post

French President Emmanuel Macron has agreed to work with US President Donald Trump toward a "new deal" with Iran that addresses the "situation" in the Middle East and "contains Iran in the region," he said on Tuesday. Macron's proposal would keep the existing nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, in its place. That agreement reached in 2015 between Iran and world powers was designed to address Tehran's short-term nuclear work, Macron stated. But "we have nuclear on the short-run, and we have nuclear on the long run" to deal with, he continued. "We have ballistic activity. We have regional activity by Iran."

"The JCPOA is the first pillar we just described," he said. "What we have to work on, obviously, with Iran and the different parties in the region, the P5 and our allies, is to find a fair deal where we can fix the overall situation." The French option would appear to save the nuclear deal in its current form through a May 12 deadline set by Trump on European powers to negotiate "fixes" to the accord. French, British and German diplomats have been working with their US counterparts to accommodate the president's deadline. Speaking alongside Trump at the White House, Macron said the two leaders initially approached the agreement from different perspectives. "Neither you nor I have a habit of changing our stances," he quipped. But they are beginning to "overcome" their disagreements "by deciding to work towards an overall deal." An hourlong one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office earlier in the day seemed to mark a breakthrough in dialogue between the two leaders, who have built a strong personal relationship since Macron assumed office less than one year ago. "We therefore wish from now on to work on a new deal with Iran," Macron said. "I would like us to commit to that effect in the weeks and months to come."

The agreement also does not address Iran's ballistic missiles, which are designed to be vehicles for nuclear warheads, as well as its regional behavior, which the US, Israel and the Arab world fear have been emboldened by the legitimacy and finances that the nuclear deal bestowed. Macron said he was prepared to acknowledge the deal does not address many of Trump's concerns- "France is not naive when it comes to Iran," he said - but proposed "combining" views on the deal that up until this point had been seen as in conflict. (Read more)

- Father, we pray President Trump will proceed with great wisdom and refuse to come into any agreement that does not line up with Your perfect will.

- Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:15)

2. Nunes: 'No official intelligence used to start FBI investigation' into Trump campaign - Washington Times

House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes told Fox News Channel's Maria Bartiromo that he has reviewed the original "electronic communication" (EC), the original intelligence which was used to justify the counter-intelligence investigation into the Trump campaign in the summer of 2016. "Now this is really important to us because the counter-intelligence investigation uses the tools of our intelligence services that are not supposed to be used on American citizens," Nunes told Bartiromo. "So we've long wanted to know well what intelligence did you have that actually led to this investigation." Then, Nunes dropped the bomb. "We now know that there was no official intelligence that was used to start this investigation."

Nunes explained the "Five Eyes" agreement between the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Canada and New Zealand, five countries that share intelligence. "We are not supposed to spy on each other's citizens, and it's worked well," Nunes said. "And it continues to work well. And we know it's working well because there was no intelligence that passed through the Five Eyes channels to our government. And that's why we had to see that original communication." However, The New York Times reported in December that it was the Australian intelligence service that first triggered the FBI investigation. The Times article, with "four current and formal American and foreign officials" cited as anonymous sources, was published just weeks after a string of stories appeared to reinforce the suspicion that the unprecedented FBI investigation into a presidential campaign was initiated by the infamous "Russian dossier" which turned out to be nothing more than unproven political opposition research paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Nunes did add one other tantalizing suggestion in his back-and-forth with Bartiromo. "We know that Sidney Blumenthal and others were pushing information into the State Department. So we're trying to piece all that together and that's why we continue to look at the State Department," the Intel Chairman said. "We know a little bit about that because of what some of the State Department officials themselves have said about that," Nunes continued. He went on to say that although his committee does not know if former Secretary of State Clinton (then Trump's opponent for president) was "pulling the strings with the State Department and the FBI investigation. But, Nunes did confirm that Blumenthal and Cody Shearer, both long-time Clinton operatives and confidantes, were "actively" giving information to the State Department, which "was somehow making its way to the FBI." - Father, we plead for justice and accountability for every person who violated Donald Trump's civil rights and/or the civil rights of anyone associated with him.

- The Lord is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. (Psalm 9:16) In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds. (Psalm 45:4)

3. Senate confirms new NSA chief - Washington Examiner

The Senate on Tuesday confirmed President Trump's pick to head the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command. The voice vote means that Lt. Gen. Paul Nakasone, who had led the Army's cyber operations, will now take over the country's leading intelligence and cybersecurity agencies from Adm. Mike Rogers, who held the dual-hatted post for four years and is retiring.

Nakasone cruised through two Senate committee confirmation hearings and enjoys wide bipartisan support at a time when numerous Trump nominees have hit roadblocks of opposition in the chamber. The general honed his cyber warfighting skills as commander of Joint Task Force Ares, a special cell formed in 2016 to disrupt the Islamic State, and comes to the new jobs as the country faces a plethora of new security threats.

Russia and China as well as other adversaries are waging cyberattacks because they do not fear retaliation from the U.S., Nakasone said during his March confirmation hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee. "Basically, I would say right now they do not think that much will happen to them," Nakasone said. "They don't fear us. It is not good, senator." He suggested the creation of a new cyber doctrine on how to handle such attacks. (Read more)

- Father, we lift up Lt. Gen. Nakasone and pray he will serve our country well as NSA Director and head of the U.S. Cyber Command.

- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.

4. 'Secret Science At EPA Is Coming To an End': Scott Pruitt Signs Data Transparency Rule - Daily Caller

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt signed a proposed rule on Tuesday to prevent the agency from relying on scientific studies that don't publish the underlying data. "The era of secret science at EPA is coming to an end," Pruitt said in a statement. "The ability to test, authenticate, and reproduce scientific findings is vital for the integrity of rulemaking process." Pruitt first announced his initiative to rid EPA of "secret science" in an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation in March. The Obama administration relied on so-called "secret science" to justify billions of dollars worth of regulations. "Americans deserve to assess the legitimacy of the science underpinning EPA decisions that may impact their lives," Pruitt said.

EPA said the proposed rule would move the agency towards open data practices used by scientific journals and professional societies. The policy mirrors the HONEST Act introduced by Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith to end EPA's use of "secret science." Smith and South Dakota Sen. Mike Rounds, who introduced the Senate version of the HONEST Act, spoke at the signing ceremony at EPA headquarters on Tuesday. "Today's directive is a significant step toward making sure these decisions are not made behind closed doors with information accessible only to those writing the regulations, but rather in the full view of those who will be affected," Rounds said. "Administrator Pruitt rightfully is changing business as usual and putting a stop to hidden agendas," Smith said. Pruitt's decision to use the rulemaking process to mandate data transparency, as opposed to a guidance or order, is significant because, if finalized, it will be harder for future administrations to repeal it. (Read more)

- Father, we pray this important reform, where all decision making is based on published, reproducible science, will become a permanent policy within the EPA.

- A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed. (Deuteronomy 19:15)

5. SCOTUS Comes Down Against Inventors in Oil States Case - FreeBeacon

Inventors' rights can be revoked through a controversial administrative process, the Supreme Court ruled by a seven-to-two margin on Tuesday, a move that promises to continue the trend of invalidation of hundreds of existing patents. The case, Oil States v. Greene's Energy, concerns an administrative tribunal called the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). As the Free Beacon has previously reported, the PTAB is responsible for reviewing patents whose validity have been challenged. The PTAB runs on a host of procedures alien to federal court proceedings: lower evidentiary standards, the ability of anyone to challenge a patent right, and a broad interpretative standard for PTAB administrative judges. Because of these procedures, the PTAB has a track record of striking down more or less every patent that passes in front of it: A former federal judge once called PTAB tribunals "patent death squads." (Please read all of this article by going here.)

- Father, this ruling looks like a complete miscarriage of justice. We pray Congress will quickly bring a bill forward to correct this ruling and protect the property rights of inventors and innovators.

- Do not lurk like a thief near the house of the righteous, do not plunder their dwelling place. (Proverbs 24:15)

6. Nancy Pelosi promises 'pro-choice gavel when we win the Congress' - Washington Times

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday the Democratic Party doesn't have litmus tests for its congressional candidates - though she made it clear that if Democrats flip control of the House, they will fight for abortion rights. Mrs. Pelosi told the student at the Georgetown Institute of Politics that Democrats will support pro-life Democrats over a pro-life Republicans in order to increase their chances of taking over the lower chamber and that she takes "heat" for that. "We will have a pro-choice gavel when we win the Congress," Mrs. Pelosi said. "We need to have at least 218 votes to achieve that. So this isn't a pragmatic decision. It is just a respectful decision."

"I am a rabid supporter of a woman's right to choose," the California Democrat said. Mrs. Pelosi said Mr. Trump has benefited from the support of evangelical Christians and Catholics who are pro-life and do not support gay marriage and want him to appoint conservative judges. "Having said no litmus test, it is a very high priority for us to protect a woman's right to choose," she said. "We are pretty much all there except maybe a handful of people." (Read more)

- Father, we ask You to hear the words of House Minority Leader Pelosi and deliver us from the Representatives who support abortion.

- Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. (Psalm 97:10)

7. HHS Works to Restore Protections to Doctors Who Object to Performing Sex Changes - CBN News

The Trump administration is working to restore protections to health workers who object to performing sex changes for transgender people. Officials with the Department of Health and Human Services confirm to CBN News they plan to roll back an Obama-era rule that requires doctors, hospitals and insurance companies that receive any form of federal reimbursement, like Medicare, to perform the surgeries. A federal judge in Texas has found parts of the rule are unlawful after eight states, a network of Catholic hospitals, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association, representing 19,000 doctors, challenged it.

The judge temporarily stopped enforcement of the rule, saying Congress has outlawed discrimination on the basis of sex, that is "the biological differences between males and females," not transgender status. Under the Obama-era rule, health insurers are required to cover counseling, psychotherapy, hormone therapy and surgery for people who want to change their gender.

HHS has submitted a draft of a new rule for the White House to review. The Obama-era rule doesn't allow exemptions for Christians and others with a moral objection to performing or covering the procedures. (Read more)

- Father, we pray medical professionals will be protected from participating in sex reassignment treatments and surgeries. We lift up sexually confused people within our nation and pray that each one will find their true identity within Jesus Christ.

- Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

8. Google Bans Ads From Christian Publishing House Due to 'Faith-Based Content' - CBN News

Google controls many of the ads seen by consumers online, which means they also have control of what consumers don't see. Now a Christian publishing house says Google is intentionally banning ad content from their website. "This morning, we learned that Google ads will no longer accept anything related to the cph.org domain. They stated that the reason is because of the faith we express on our website," wrote Concordia Publishing House CEO Bruce Kintz in a Facebook post, that has since been removed. In a press release, CPH went into further detail about their communications with Google. "Google informed CPH that the type of ad in question would not be allowed based on Google's policy of religious belief in personalized content. As a Google AdWords Support representative explained, the disapproval resulted from the fact that the items in the ad and on the CPH website refer to Jesus and/or the Bible," the release stated. CPH reports it was also informed it could "remove all items that refer to Jesus or the Bible and proceed to use the remarketing ads;" or, "use a different type of Google ad product." "Clearly, CPH does not agree with Google's decision in this matter. If we are willing to remove references to our faith in our ads or website, then we will be allowed to use remarketing ads with Google. Simply stated, we are not willing to sacrifice our beliefs to comply with Google's requirements," Kintz also said. Kintz said that as society becomes increasingly hostile towards the Christian faith, their mission becomes all the more important. "We will continue to proclaim the faith because we know without a doubt that the Word of the Lord endures forever," said Kintz. Concordia Publishing House is the publishing arm of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. (Read more)

- Father, we pray censorship of the Lutheran Church will be a wake-up call to all fair-minded people in our nation, and lead to action by our elected representatives.

- One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich-both come to poverty. (Proverbs 22:16)

9. Bible Ban? CA Fast-Tracks Bill Aimed at Censoring Biblical Christian Teachings - CBN News

A California bill that aims to ban Christian books and resources which address issues of homosexuality and gender identity could pass in the California Senate as soon as late May, sources told CBN News. Assembly Bill 2943 declares biblical books and Christian conferences dealing with biblical views on homosexuality or transgenderism as fraudulent under the state's consumer fraud statute. Ultimately, it would penalize those who share a traditional view on marriage. "Whenever a pastor or a church or a para-church ministry holds a conference or an event or sells a book or video about overcoming same-sex desires or gender confusion, that could indeed be banned," Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, told CBN News. "This is because AB 2943 is only triggered when money is being exchanged for 'sexual orientation change efforts,' and there is no exemption for religious institutions or religious material," he continued. "Could that include selling Bibles? Possibly, but not likely; much more likely to be targeted are speakers, books, and videos helping people get out of homosexuality and transsexuality."

Anne Paulk, executive director of the Restored Hope Network, adds that the bill would also make it illegal for individuals to receive biblically based counseling for these issues. "A lot of people look for help leaving homosexuality and addressing unwanted same-sex attraction and at this point, California actually seeks to ban help for individuals who are seeking it," she said. Thomasson and Paulk say proceedings to pass the law are taking place quickly in the state. "AB 2943 has two state Senate committees to go through before a floor vote," Thomasson told CBN News via email. "But the Democrat legislators seem to be fast-tracking this, so the Democrat-controlled California State Senate could pass AB 2943 as soon as late May. I heard the goal would be to have the governor potentially sign the bill in June," Paulk shared. (Read more)

- Father God, Your remnant people in California are besieged and need Your divine help. We pray this initiative to ban books will fail and Your people will continue to be able to help those who want to come out of alternative lifestyles.

- We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Germany's anti-Semitism and prophecy

Germany, its leadership in particular, is infamous for its persecution of Jews to the extent of attempting the unthinkable under Adolf Hitler's reign-the final solution. Islam's alliance with Hitler is much debated and discussed among historians, but seemed to come naturally given Hitler's actions resulting in the Holocaust. Steve Coll, author of "Hitler and the Muslims" writes: "Germany's use of Islam during the Nazi period owed less to Hitler's strategizing than to the legacy of imperial Germany's use of armed jihadists to undermine its European enemies." The Hitler-Islam alliance shared a collateral benefit if they conquered the world and Jews were eliminated from it at the same time. Is Germany repeating this history today?

NBC News reports that German Chancellor Angela Merkel's open border policy allowed over a million Muslim "refugees" into the country in 2015-up to 10,000 a day-to a country with a population of some 81 million. According to a Berlin-based non-profit, The Department for Research and Information on Anti-Semitism, the number of anti-Semitic crimes increased 55 percent in 2017, with 2 to 3 incidents a day in Berlin, alone. Violent crimes against Jews in Germany continue to increase. It is no coincidence that the open border policy flooded Germany with Muslims from staunch anti-Jewish strongholds and crime rates against Jews in Germany have skyrocketed. Muslims are committing the crimes.

Merkel commented during an interview with Israel's Channel 10 about Germany's rising anti-Semitism. Merkel admitted that anti-Semitism existed in Germany before the Muslim's immigrated to the country, but her comments underscored her ignorance, intentional or unintentional, about those whose religion instructs them to kill Jews and Christians (for example, the Koran's Sura 2:190-193, speaking of Christians and Jews, says, "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter."). Merkel said, "We have refugees now, for example, or people of Arab origin, who bring a different type of anti-Semitism into the country." What?

She continued to say, "The fact that no kindergarten, no school, no synagogue can be left without police protection dismays us." Merkel is dismayed that she allowed 10,000 people a day into her country who likely believe that Jews are less than pigs (also in the Koran) into a country known for its anti-Semitism, and crimes against Jews increases? She is dismayed that the police have to protect Jewish children at their schools? The Lord promises to make Abram and his descendants a great nation. in Genesis 12:3, the Lord says, "And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you." Germany and Islam are a modern example of the impact of leadership in relation to prophecy. Think about it.

Are Natural Catastrophes in Iran End-of-Days Divine Retribution?

An Iranian threat against Israel last week was answered immediately from above with a massive sandstorm. If the message was not entirely clear, two days later, the Iranian nuclear reactor was hit by an earthquake at the same time Jews in Israel were celebrating their Independence Day.

Rabbi Yosef Dayan, a member of the nascent Sanhedrin (Biblically mandated court of 71 elders) and a descendant of King David, noted that it should be clear to everyone around the world that this storm in Iran was divine intervention.

"My first reaction when I saw reports of the storm was to thank God because this was clearly straight from Hashem (God, literally 'the name')," Rabbi Dayan told Breaking Israel News.

Recent tensions between Israel and Iran came to a head on April 16 when Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qasemi told reporters in a weekly meeting in Tehran that Israel was doomed.

"The Zionist entity will sooner or later receive the necessary response and will regret its misdeeds," Qasemi said. Though the Iranian minister's threat was predicted to come to fruition at an unspecified point in the future, an emphatic divine response immediately followed in the form of an unusual natural phenomenon. On the same day that the foreign ministry predicted Israel's ultimate demise, a huge sandstorm engulfed an entire province in the center of Iran, battering the region with 60 mph sand-laden winds. There were no injuries or major damages reported as a result of the storm, but even the Iranian media recognized the exceptional nature of the event with headlines calling the storm, "apocalyptic." The Good News Corner

This Christian Missionary, Although Tortured by ISIS in Prison, Led 40 to Christ

"I didn't have to do anything else (to do) but read the Bible all day. I could not read the Bible all day because I could only read when there was enough light, which was about 8 [a.m.] ... until 4:30 p.m. I had to stand reading on the bars so that I could have enough light. I was so hungry for Scripture. I read from Genesis to Revelation within three weeks."

[God Reports] Charged with being a spy, Czech missionary Petr Jasek endured a 14-month imprisonment in Sudan where he was tortured by fellow cellmates. But Jesus supernaturally imparted peace during his confinement and he became a bold witness, winning many to Christ. (Photo: Petr Jasek in Africa/Voice of the Martyrs/via God Reports)

In his role as the Africa regional director for Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), Jasek went to Sudan to document the persecution of Christians, which was happening in the Nubah Mountains in clashes between the government and rebels.

He was detained by the Sudanese police at Khartoum Airport in December 2015. It seems immigration staff found a duplicate passport Jasek carried for security purposes, which led to his immediate arrest and imprisonment.

"I arrived at this cell at about 1:30 am," he told VOM. He found the cell overcrowded, with people covering the floor. "They had to squeeze a little bit so they would create some small room for me to lie down on the floor."

The conditions were sparse. "I had no blanket ... two extra T-shirts and one extra (pair of) pants and a toothbrush, toothpaste and soap; that was all."

Guards refused him blankets or a mattress, because he was from the Czech Republic and they told him they thought he should be used to cold weather.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
Friends may participate by receiving our daily prayer alerts. You may contact us at chpp1994@gmail.com for more information. CHPP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry. Thank you and God bless you!
