- Father, give wisdom to our leaders on how to solve the larger problems at hand. We pray that gimmicks and playing politics would stop, and our leaders would come together to solve the problems of our nation. We pray mercy and grace upon them. In Jesus Name.

- Give the king Your judgments, O God. And Your righteousness to the king's Son. He will judge Your people with righteousness, and Your poor with justice.

3. Iran official: Nuclear talks must end economic sanctions - Ha'aretz

Iran on Sunday voiced hope that the next planned round of international talks about its nuclear program would lead to a lifting of sanctions upon it, the Fars news agency reported.

- Father, may truth be revealed in these talks. We pray against deception and manipulation from Iran. Keep us on high alert regarding this dilemma.

- Stretch out Your hand from above; Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of foreigners, whose mouth speaks lying words, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. (Psalm 144:7-8)

4. Afghanistan: Taliban insurgents attack embassies and Nato headquarters in Kabul - UK Telegraph

The Taliban said they and other militant groups were behind a coordinated assault in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Sunday which included attacks on the British and German embassies in the heavily guarded, central diplomatic district.

- Lord, we pray protection for the Afghan and coalition military troops. We pray for the protection of the foreign embassies and workers. We pray that the enemy plans and attacks be confounded and stopped to show them that You are God and have all power. In the name of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, we intercede for those in Kabul and Afghanistan. Amen.

- No king is saved by the multitude of any army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. (Psalm 33:16-19)

This week, for all the headlines cited below, please join us in proclaiming THIS DECREE:

"Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory, for Your mercy, and for Your truth's sake. Why should the nations say, Where is their God? But our God is in the heavens. He has done whatever He has pleased." (Psalm 115:1-3)

Promises in troubled times

A look at the recent headlines: record national debt, high unemployment, gasoline prices up, food prices up, rumors of war--all things that have people wondering what will happen to them. Many are anxious over the next elections in the United States. Others are concerned whether they will be able to keep their jobs or even find a job. Others are concerned that the astronomical rise in gasoline prices at the pump will cause their disposable income to shrink so much that they will not be able to conduct their daily lives. Many are living in fear of what is ahead. Often, in these difficult times, it is good to take a deep breath and refocus on the promises of the Lord.
Yeshua said in Matthew 6:33-34 "But seek ye first the kingdom of YHVH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Many false teachers lay claim to this verse saying that this means whatever you want--fancy cars, jewelry, check in the mail--will be provided by YHVH to those who seek him. They have falsely taught that all you have to do is name it to claim it. This is not what was promised by the Messiah. We are to first seek the kingdom of YHVH and his righteousness, and then certain things will be added unto you.

These "things" are explained in the previous verses beginning in verse 25, "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" Yeshua goes on to explain that the birds do not sow or reap, "but your heavenly Father fees them. Are ye not much better than they?" He points out that YHVH clothes the lilies and grass of the field, that He will also clothe you. Verse 31 says, "Therefore take no thought, saying What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?"

Verse 32 says, "(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things." My wife and I are living testimonies to the daily bread that YHVH provides. There have been many times when we had no resources, yet there were bills to be paid, children to feed, and needs to be met. All we had was our faith in our Savior. And that is all we needed. He is faithful. In these troubled times, which according to the scriptures will worsen before the end, Christians have the answer in Yeshua. Do not fear. Seek the Lord. Draw near to him. His promises are met when we most need them. And you will have a great testimony to share with others who are yet to know the blessing and faith of true salvation.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Parents Find Preemie Daughter Alive in Morgue 12 Hours after Doctor Pronounces Baby Dead Teresa Neumann - BCN and Nina Golgowski and Matt Roper - The Daily Mail

"I fell to my knees when I saw her. I'm a Christian and I believe this was from God." -Analia Bouter

(Argentina)-Analia Bouter was 26 weeks pregnant when she gave birth to her fifth child in the town of Resistencia. Doctors reportedly said the baby had no vital signs and sent the parents home with a death certificate. Twelve hours later, Bouter and her husband decided to go to the morgue to view their baby, but according to a report in Clarin newspaper, "When a worker opened the drawer, we heard a cry and she was alive."

Bouter was quoted as saying, "My baby was born at 10:24 am and at 11:05 am was already in the drawer. She spent 12 hours in the freezing cold of that morgue. I saw for myself the ice on her body."

According to a Daily Mail report, Bouter, who said the joy of knowing her daughter is alive is covering "every other feeling," will be naming the baby Luz Milagros, which means Light Miracles. As for the hospital staff, director Jose Luis Meirino said, "At the moment we have no explanation. The baby was attended to by obstetricians, gynecologists and a neonatologist. They all reached the same conclusion, that this girl was stillborn."
