1. Two Events in September Would Delegitimize Israel - Zion's Glory
In September there are two major international events that are aimed at the delegitimization and criminalization of Israel. The first event is the planned "Durban III" to be held at the UN. headquarters in NYC, September 21 in order to coincide with the annual opening of the United Nations General Assembly (See more details on this event in today's Brief).
The second major event facing Israel in September is the planned declaration of a Palestinian state in the General Assembly of the UN. . . A unilateral decision for statehood by the Palestinians would eliminate the need for them to recognize Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state. . . the establishment of a state which would serve as a launching pad for further military strikes against Israel. - There is no doubt that the planned outcome of this conference is to once again condemn and delegitimize the very existence of Israel as a Jewish State. But God is mighty, so let's join together and impact history with our prayers. We ask you to please commit yourselves to praying and interceding against this dark event over the coming two months. Please pray and intercede that this anti-Israel vote would be derailed. We have started to see some resistance coming from several European capitals, the US and other nations. Please pray that God will destroy all of these evil plans.
- "But the LORD is with me like a dread champion; Therefore my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed, With an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten." (Jer. 20:11)
2. 'No delay in launching Bushehr plant' - Press TV (Iranian Press)
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast says the Islamic Republic's first nuclear power plant located in the country's southern city of Bushehr will be launched without delay.
- God, we ask that You send angels to destroy this nuclear power plant so that it not be used to throw the world into great chaos. Bind the powers of darkness by the blood of Jesus and hold back that which is evil and destructive. Set up a wall of confusion around this plant that it will become inoperable. In Jesus Name.

3. Hackers target 72 organizations in 'biggest cyber attack in history' - UK Telegraph
Security experts have discovered the biggest series of cyber attacks to date, involving the infiltration of the networks of 72 organizations including the United Nations, governments and companies around the world.
- Father, this is the day to call out to Almighty God for protection from this wickedness that weakens the security of these 72 organizations around the world. We cry out for mercy for the souls of men that are affected by this, and for those who inflict such dastardly deeds upon humanity. Deal with their hearts, that there be conviction and repentance. May they turn from sin and darkness to salvation of their souls. In Jesus Name.

4. Obama signs debt bill into law - Politico
Treasury won an immediate reprieve of $400 billion in new borrowing authority Tuesday, as the Senate gave final approval to a hotly contested debt and deficit-reduction agreement hammered out with the White House Sunday night.
- Father God, we repent for the destructive acts that the House and the Senate have brought upon the American people. Forgive them for hearing and obeying the voice of evil, creating works that can only end in more destruction. God, send divine help to those who are calling out in the Name of Jesus for mercy and protection. May there be a decisive separation between the good and the evil, where the good reap righteousness and the evil reap separation from God at the end of the age for their deeds. In Jesus Name.
- "The devil comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Jesus comes that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
5. Super Committee to Find New Cuts Before 2013 - Texas Conservative Digest
The "Super Committee" ("Super Congress") (Boehner-McConnell-Reid) will be formed with 12 members, from both parties, picked by the leadership. The 'Committee' is responsible for finding new cuts of $1.5 Trillion to recommend in 2013, again to be enacted over a 10 year period. The 'Committee' comes to conclusions and submits them to the rest of the Congress for a up or down vote; no amendments, no discussion, no points of order, cannot be changed and/or cannot be filibustered.
Either way, Folks - this bill is a disaster of mega proportions. The acceptance of this 'Super Committee' - now taking on the name of "Super Congress" - will wind up being a dictatorial body with ramifications that will destroy the Constitution as we know it, not only with financial matters but with all issues which are under attack within our nation today. As we move forward, remember that this was the idea of Boehner-McConnell-Reid and sadly the American people seem to be unaware of where we are headed. Many have simply chosen to trust in a GOP leadership that has all too often given up with excuses such as they only did 'as good a job as they could' - and that, very simply, just isn't anywhere close to good enough.
- God, we cry out to You for protection and guidance as this Committee is indeed moving us into the tribulations of the new world order preceding the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray this Super Congress will not be preemptive in drawing the world to a close before God's perfect timing. Move upon the hearts of all mankind to repent, forgive, and turn to God for salvation of their souls. In Jesus Name.

6. Huffington Post Forced to Issue Retraction, Apology After Falsely Accusing Andrew Breitbart of Doctoring Video - FoxNews.com
Arianna Huffington's liberal-leaning Huffington Post was forced to write a retraction Tuesday after alleging that conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart doctored a video clip from a White House press briefing in order to make it look like CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell was unhappy about the recent debt compromise during an exchange with White House press secretary Jay Carney.
- God, we thank you this apology has been made in order to set the record straight. Protect those who publish the truth. May those who know the truth boldly speak out. Expose all lies and bring them down to nothing, and may they have no influence in the media. In Jesus Name.

7. Obama Issues Statement Marking Ramadan, But No Easter Statement This Year - CNS News
Obama on Monday issued a statement marking the start of Ramadan, the month devoted to prayer and fasting of the Moslem cult.

The prophetic possibilities of the Perfect Storm
The perfect storm is when events collide at the perfect time that result in the most devastating calamity. This is a warning that the perfect storm may be forming on the horizon. The politicians in Washington are thumping their chests today that they gave this White House another $2 trillion of your money to spend before the 2012 elections with little to no cuts in spending except for the Defense Department. At the same time, organizations calling for a revolution to overthrow the US government are rising up in plain public view without so much as a footnote from the mainstream news media. The purposeful weakening of the United States, the strengthening of its radical enemies, the formation of a perfect storm.
One such organization held a Khilafa Conference in Chicago on June 26 entitled: Revolution in the Moslem World: From Tyranny to Triumph. The current Administration says Hizb Ut-Tahrir is a non violent Islamic group. But its goal is to overthrow the government and establish an Islamic Caliphate under Sharia Law. It has trained such notables as al Qaeda leaders Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Britain's National Union of Students says the group is "supporting terrorism and publishing material that incites racial hatred." The Heritage Foundation says it is working closely with the Moslem Brotherhood, the White House's new foreign policy partner.
Speakers at the Khilafa Conference used quotes from the Koran and preached revolution. Haitham Thbait said the "West is the enemy of all humanity...Let this revolution give birth to the final super power." Another speaker, Abu Atallah called for Islam to "be made supreme in the land. Islam will be the ruling system in the land...Under the Khilafah, we would be unified under one state. This united state would be ruled by what allah has revealed, not what others say...not even Shiek Obama, but what allah has revealed." Yes, he named the president. He said there would be no borders and that the military would be "in the hands of the Moslems" and "our lands" would be "taken back from the crusaders."
America is facing a most trying time. Massive debt is a permanent tax increase on all of its citizens. The government is stuck in a paradigm of spending the country into socialism. At the same time revolutionary Islamic cults are saying the timing is right for revolution, saying that politically unifying Islam in America will give the Moslem leaders the wealth to establish a worldwide Caliphate. America seems symbolic of Zion in Joel 2:1, "Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand." We must repent. We must pray. We must stand and overcome evil with good. You have the answer in Christ and the Great Commission, exercise it boldly.

Rick Perry's Christianity Is Good for America

For those who couldn't tell from my name, I'm a Jew. Not only am I Jew, I'm an Orthodox Jew. I pray three times a day to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I keep kosher. I wear phylacteries in the morning, and I say the Shema at night.
And I love Texas Gov. Rick Perry's "The Response."
On August 6, Perry is hosting a "day of prayer and fasting" in Houston. "With the economy in trouble, communities in crisis, people adrift in a sea of moral relativism, we need God's help," Perry said in announcing the event. "That's why I'm calling on Americans to pray and fast, like Jesus did, and as God called the Israelites to do."
. . . There is nothing wrong with Perry's "The Response." In fact, it is profoundly right to request that God look kindly and benevolently on the United States of America. Even those who don't believe in God should be able to recognize that peaceful public displays of faith strengthen the unity of our nation.
Reliance on God allows Americans to stop turning on one another, as President Obama would prefer. Class warfare is simply un-Christian; it is profoundly anti-religious, since it presumes that property is not God's to distribute, but man's to redistribute. There is a reason why Marx despised religion and why Marxism's first dictate in any country is the destruction of Christianity. Furthermore, there is no question whatsoever that the religious community in America provides more charity per capita than the non-religious community.
As to the odd notion that Christians such as Perry are Waiting for Godot to create jobs and solve unemployment, Perry's own record contradicts that. Under his watch, Texas has created more jobs than all the other states combined during Perry's time as governor. If Perry's Christianity is a factor in his politics, there are plenty of other governors who might want to open up the Bible.
. . . Overall, "The Response" is a net positive for the country, without a doubt. Those who despise traditional religion in general -- pro-abortionists, militant gay-marriage activists -- oppose "The Response" for their own reasons. But everyone else, religious and secular, should recognize the overwhelming good that displays like "The Response" do for the nation. Americans still stand for God and country. Remove one half of that equation, and the rest of the structure falls. Read more.
Ramadan Prayer Alert
PRAYER ALERT
RAMADAN - AUGUST 1-30, 2011
SUMMARY: The Moslem month of fasting known as Ramadan begins on August 1 and will last for 30 days. During this time, Muslims fast during daylight hours in order to purify themselves, focus on God, and gain enlightenment.
From August 1 until August 30, most Moslems will be celebrating Ramadan - the month of fasting. It is one of the five pillars of the Islamic faith and coincides with the month in which they believe Mohammad received the Qur'an. During Ramadan, Muslims carry out a "complete fast" during daylight hours. This means no food or water. The fast is broken each night with the Iftar (Arabic for "breakfast") dinner. These are usually community events involving extended families and neighbors. Many mosques also host nightly Iftar dinners.
The purpose of fasting during Ramadan is to purify yourself of bad habits and thoughts. It is also a time to focus on God. Expectations rise and many Muslims hope to see supernatural visions or have divine dreams. The 27th night of Ramadan is known as Laylat al-Qadr - the night of power. This is the night they believe an angelic messenger gave Mohammad the Qur'an. According to the Qur'an, angels descend to earth on this night. It is thought to be "better than a thousand months" and Muslims hope to have their prayers answered at this time.
PRAY FOR:
- the Lord to reveal Himself to Muslims all over the world during Ramadan. (Deuteronomy 4:29)
- their blind minds to be opened to the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (II Corinthians 4:4)
- their hearts to become good soil for the seed of the Word. (Matthew 13:23)
- the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin and show them they cannot do enough "good works" to earn their way to heaven. Pray for them to accept the truth that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of the Living God. (II Corinthians 7:10; Matthew 16:16)
- the Lord to give Muslims dreams and visions - especially on the night of power. (Acts 2:19)
-the salvation of members of Islamic terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda, Hamas, the Taliban, al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Pray they will have a supernatural encounter with Christ. (I Timothy 2:4)
- more Muslims to come to Christ during this Ramadan than in all of history combined. (Romans 10:9,10)
- a tremendous harvest of souls as Muslims realize who Jesus Christ is and put their faith in Him as Savior and Lord. (John 4:35)

EMERGENCY MESSAGE FOR U.S. CITIZENS
U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem has issued the following notice: all Mission employees and family members are advised to exercise extra vigilance and avoid large crowds during the upcoming month of Ramadan, which is expected to begin either on July 31 or August 1, 2011, particularly in Jerusalem's Old City. Extremely large crowds can be expected, with a correspondingly heavy police presence on Fridays during the month of Ramadan. Additionally, personnel should expect significant traffic congestion, delays, and detours around the Old City and East Jerusalem, and should seek to use alternate or bypass routes whenever possible.Furthermore, Jerusalem's Old City will be off-limits to all official Americans and their dependents each Friday during the month of Ramadan.
U.S. citizens are reminded that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence. The U.S. Consulate General urges U.S. citizens to avoid the areas of demonstrations if possible, and to exercise caution if within the vicinity of any demonstrations.

- Does the State Department have information that is unknown to the general public? If you know of anyone who is going to Israel, please cover them with the blood of Jesus. Also, pray against any attack on Americans -- or any other innocent civilians -- by terrorists. Pray for the Palestinian people for whom God also sent His Son to die so that they, too, may know the Truth.

Rifles Stolen from Military Base
27 RIFLES STOLEN FROM CALIFORNIA MILITARY BASE
Twenty-six AK-74 assault rifles and one Dragunov sniper rifle were stolen from a supply warehouse at Fort Irwin in San Bernardino County. More than two dozen assault rifles have been stolen from a Southern California military base, and investigators sought the public's help as they looked to arrest suspects and recover the weapons, federal officials said Friday. The weapons were stolen from a supply warehouse at Fort Irwin in San Bernardino County on July 15, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says in a statement. Some arrests have been made and one rifle has been recovered, but the agency is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to further arrests, the statement said.
"Community participation is necessary to improve the likelihood that ATF and our law enforcement partners will track down the firearms as well as the criminals who have sought to destabilize our community through illegal activity," ATF Special Agent in Charge John A. Torres said in the statement.
ATF spokesman Special Agent Christian Hoffman could not say when reached by phone how many were arrested, whether they were military or civilian or what motive they may have had. He referred those questions to military officials, who made the arrests. Phone and email messages left late Friday for a spokesman from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command, which is investigating the theft along with the ATF and the FBI, were not immediately returned.
Hoffman also could not say why word of the theft did not become public for two weeks, but said his agency decided to issue a news release because of the potential danger the loose weapons posed.
"We determined that there was a public safety issue with the guns getting out on the street," he said. (Associated Press) Read more:
- Seek the Lord for why these weapons were stolen. Were the perpetrators terrorists or some thieves hoping to make some money? How did the thieves get on and off the base without being detected? Pray that the Lord covers these rifles with His wings so that they seem to disappear when the thieves try to move them. Pray for the safety of citizens living along any route that the weapons may be traveling. Call forth the arrest of the thieves and the return of rifles to their proper place on the military base.

Eagles' Wings Ministries Calls for a Rally to Protest the U.N. Durban Conference: September 21
BACKGROUND:
This coming September in New York City, the United Nations will hold an enormous, decidedly anti-Israel conference, under the guise of fighting against "racism" and "xenophobia."
The first gathering of what was called the "World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia, and Related Intolerance" was held in Durban, South Africa in 2001, and by the conclusion of the conference, it had become an anti-Semitic, anti-Israel forum. In 2009, the same conference was held in Geneva, Switzerland, where Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad used it as a platform to equate Zionism with racism, and called Israel "the most cruel and repressive racist regime." The 2009 conference had Cuba, Pakistan, and Russia among the 19 vice-chairs and was backed by NGOs in close cooperation with Iran and other hostile regimes.
The U.S. Administration had this to say about the 2009 Durban III conference and the resulting declaration, "the document being negotiated has gone from bad to worse, and the current text of the draft outcome document is not salvageable. As a result, the United States will not engage in further negotiations on this text, nor will we participate in a conference based on this text. A conference based on this text would be a missed opportunity to speak clearly about the persistent problem of racism."
Efforts to combat racism have been hijacked and the U.N. "Durban Conferences" are responsible. Let your voice be heard and help to stop U.N. Racism.

Israel PM Ready to Discuss Border Package
Israel has told Middle East power brokers it was ready to discuss a proposed package on borders with Palestinians to help Western powers revive stalled peace talks, an Israeli official said Monday.
The official denied reports by Israeli and other media outlets that the Honorable Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had backed down from an earlier rejection of Obama's proposal to negotiate a pullback to so-called 1967 borders.
But he suggested Netanyahu had signaled a new readiness to aid last-ditch U.S. and European efforts to renew talks frozen since last year in anticipation of a Palestinian threat to seek a unilateral United Nations mandate for statehood in September.
Israeli and Western leaders have been concerned that any one-sided step could trigger new violence after months of calm, given the spreading unrest in the Arab world and recent calls by some Palestinians for protests to accompany any statehood bid.
"In order to restart the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks and facilitate the restarting of direct talks, Israel has been willing to accept a package that includes a formula on borders," the official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Such a package could include borders "that would be difficult for Israel to accept," the official said, adding that "a part of the package would mean being recognized as a Jewish state," a demand thus far rejected by Palestinian leaders.
Israel Radio and a television station reported that Netanyahu had agreed to negotiate a possible withdrawal to a frontier from before a war in 1967 when Israel captured West Bank land where Palestinians seek to build a state. (Reuters) Read more.
- Pray that Prime Minister Netanyahu finds the strength to stand STRONG for the TRUTH that all of the borders since 1948 on this land belong to Israel; and that any plan to revert before the 1967 lines will, indeed, be indefensible. The prime minister will need to walk in the strength of a lion -- call this forth, in Yeshuah's name! Amen!

Hudson, Senior Pastor of Riverside Apostolic Church in Morgantown, WV and President of a leading international evangelical organization representing 7 million members around the globe, will be joined by many other prominent Christian an d Jewish leaders in an unprecedented inter-faith event, held in Jerusalem, to protest UN plans to vote on a resolution to declare a Palestinian state. The group will arrive in Jerusalem on Aug. 30, 2011, and join their Jewish brethren in prayer at the Western Wall in a demonstration of solidarity. On Sept. 1, the group will conduct a press conference in Jerusalem (place and time to be determined).
PJTN'S position is clear stating that this is the most outrageous violation of the UN's democratic principles yet, in a long list of disproportionate treatment and application of double standards against Israel. Time and time again, Israel has made concessions and agreements to negotiate with the Palestinian Authority (PA), and each time, the PA has fabricated a flimsy excuse to refuse to negotiate.
Now that Hamas and Fatah have agreed to unite under one government, there is no doubt that they do not plan to reach a peaceful negotiation under 'Land for Peace'. The PA and Hamas have refused to recognize Israel's right to exist, they continue to promote propaganda against the Jewish people and the Jewish State, and now they have put the world on notice that they are not interested in seeking peace. UN knows all of this all too well and should stay out of a negotiation process previously agreed to by the Palestinian Authority as outlined in the peace process authored by the Quartet on the Middle East . . .
