1. Christian Leader James Dobson Endorses Huckabee for GOP Nod - Fox News
James Dobson, one of the nation's most prominent evangelical Christian leaders, backed Mike Huckabee's presidential bid Thursday night, giving the former Arkansas governor a long-sought endorsement as the Republican field narrowed to a two-man race. In a statement first obtained by The Associated Press, Dobson reiterated his declaration on Super Tuesday that he could not in good conscience vote for John McCain, the front-runner, because of concerns over the Arizona senator's conservative credentials.
· Offer praise for the integrity of Dr. James Dobson, who has "held fast" to traditional values in this week's furious public debate. Offer a prayer that, when all is said and done, the Republican Party WILL reflect those values as they choose their candidate to run for the presidency.
· The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

3. Tennessee governor on tornadoes: 'The wrath of God...' - New York Times News Service
President Bush to Visit Today
"The wrath of God is the only way I can describe it," Gov. Phil Bredesen of Tennessee said after surveying the damage by helicopter. "I'm used to seeing roofs off houses; houses blown over. These houses were down to their foundations, stripped clean." The governor said 1,000 houses in Tennessee were destroyed. President Bush announced he would head to the state on Friday to view the damage.
Commenting on the storms, Renee Preslar, the public education coordinator for the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management, stated: "Normally, tornadoes touch down and they're on the ground for twenty minutes and they pop back up. There's no signs yet of this having ever come off the ground."
· Lord, You work great things in the midst of trials. You are our refuge and strength and a very present help in trouble. We come boldly to Your throne of grace to help in time of need. We pray for Your comfort and love to pour over those affected by the tornadoes. Thank You for the wisdom and compassion of President Bush in helping to comfort and meet the needs on a federal level.
· Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me. He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of them that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth. ( Ps. 57:1-3)

5. "Euros Accepted" signs pop up in New York City - Reuters
In the latest example that the U.S. dollar just ain't what it used to be, some shops in New York City have begun accepting euros and other foreign currency as payment for merchandise. "We had decided that money is money and we'll take it and just do the exchange whenever we can with our bank," Robert Chu, owner of East Village Wines, told Reuters television. The increasingly weak U.S. dollar, once considered the king among currencies, has brought waves of European tourists to New York with money to burn and looking to take advantage of hugely favorable exchange rates.
· Possessor of heaven and earth, we pray for a shift in our nation to turn our trust in You instead of riches. We declare, "It is the Lord our God that gives us the power to get wealth". For You bless the righteous with favor and will not withhold any good thing from those that walk uprightly.
· Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. ( l Tim.6:17-19)

· My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. (Prov. 3:1-4)
