Russia & Iran Making Move For Middle East Control

Iran, with the help of Russia, is making a strong and fast move toward becoming the dominating force in the Middle East, a clear and present danger to Israel, Europe and the United States. Russia has announced it plans to begin shipping Iran nuclear fuel beginning in January. On the heels of that announcement, Iran has said it will share its nuclear technology with its neighbors. In addition, Iran is preparing to enter into security agreements with several Arab nations. Iran already has a security agreement with Syria and it supplies the terrorist groups Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and others with support and weapons.

Middle East Newsline reports that the Iranian Interior Ministry received approval on December 6th to sign security accords with Oman, Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The agreements would stipulate an intelligence exchange, training, border security and other efforts. Six member states of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and United Arab Emirates, announced Sunday that they want to obtain the capability to produce nuclear energy "for peaceful purposes." Iran has offered its nuclear technology to these Islamic nations.

Russia is not only a supplier of nuclear technology to Iran. Along with China, Russia is providing missile technology and payload capacity development to Iran, further increasing Iran’s ability to develop and someday deliver a nuclear warhead as far North as Europe. Russia recently gave the green light for Iran to purchase sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles to protect the Iranian nuclear program from possible pre- emptive air strikes against Iranian nuclear installments. Russia is also making a play to control energy supplies through its nationalization of natural gas producing fields. Russia controls over 30% of Europe’s natural gas supplies and has used energy as a political weapon in the past.

The ancient prophecies written some 2, 500 years ago speak of the latter days when Gog, Magog, Persia, Ethiopia and Libya will come against Israel. It is widely believed that Gog and Magog are modern day Eastern Russia and Western China; that Persia is Iran and the former Persian empire, which includes most of the current Arab states from Iran to the Mediterranean Sea; Ethiopia and Libya are the whole of Northern Africa. These nations are aligning today and all of them are against Israel. The only nation standing in between them politically is the United States. If America would soften its support for Israel, such an attack could become reality. Ezekiel 38:9 says these nations shall “come like a storm . . . like a cloud to cover the land.” Draw close to your salvation as this prophecy unfolds.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
