1. Netanyahu: Israel will not give US warning before strike on Iran - World of Judaica

Last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak told US Chief of Staff General Martin Dempsey that Israel would not give the US more than 12 hours notice before launching a strike against Iran.

Dempsey visited Israel last week on his first official trip to the country and met with Barak and IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz as well as the Prime Minister and President Shimon Peres. . . .

During the meetings, Netanyahu and Barak told Dempsey that Israel would not coordinate with the US regarding a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities and would not give advance warning, especially in the wake of US President Barack Obama's insistence that he would prevent such as a strike from occurring. . . . Read more.

- Father, we thank You for PM Netanyahu being in office at this strategic moment in Israel's history, and for the wisdom You are giving him, as He governs Your tiny nation of Israel. We pray for his protection, and the protection of Israel. Abba, we pray that our nation, and its leaders, will be supportive of Israel in dealing with their enemies. We bind up spirits of intimidation from operating in this situation, and we thank You that You are watching over Your land at all times.

- "He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield]."
(Psalm 121:3-5)

2. U.S. to open up remaining Gulf oil leases
- CNN

The federal government Thursday announced plans to sell off oil and gas leases on 38 million acres of the Gulf of Mexico seafloor in a new domestic energy push by the Obama administration.

- Abba, we thank You that our government is willing to tap into our own domestic oil and gas resources, to lessen our dependence on foreign resources, which are often controlled by their greed and anti-American politics. We thank You for blessing our nation with these resources, and pray they will be used wisely. Amen.

- " I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty. 'The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty."
(Haggai 2:7,8)

3. Federal Mortgage Insurer Headed Toward Collapse - Epoch Times

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is deeply insolvent and headed toward a financial crash like that of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae in 2008, according to analysis from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) released last week.

- Precious Lord, thank You for Your provision for our daily needs. We look to You, as our Provider, and not the federal government. We do ask that the heads of the FHA will humble themselves, and call out to You in the day of trouble, and that You will hear their cries, and answer, giving them much needed wisdom. We ask You to use this situation to turn the hearts of those, who trust in their riches, to instead put their trust in You and find true riches. Amen.

- "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, (riches), but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm."
(Psalm 20:7,8)

4. Death Valley's Big Bang: Volcano "Potentially Active" - National Geographic

A volcano in Death Valley National Park might be more dangerous than previously thought, a new study says.

- Lord, we know that all creation is groaning and travailing at an increased pace, as we are in these "Last Days", when You said there would be an increase in these natural occurences of earthquakes, eruptions, floods, and adverse weather events. We ask that You would give wisdom to those studying these phenomena, so they will be better able to issue warnings to those who might be most affected. We also pray against a spirit of fear, and ask that folks would instead make the Almighty their Refuge and Hope. In Yeshua's Name we pray. Amen.

- "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." (Psalm 91:14-16)

5. Obama's Former Faith Adviser: 'I, Frankly, Am Glad American Civil Religion is Dying'
- CNS News

Shaun Casey, the religious affairs adviser to the U.S. Constitutionally unqualified presidential candidate Obama in 2008, said at a discussion on Tuesday about "God and Politics" that the demise of religious society in the United States is a good thing.

- How sad, Lord, is this statement by Mr. Casey! We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him, and others of like mind, just how real and faithful You are! May they come to realize that belief in You is not a "religion", but a relationship. We pray that they would humble themselves and come into relationship with You, Who is Life.

- "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do."
(John 17:3,4)

6. Park Service Warns Occupy DC to end camps Monday
- Fox News

WASHINGTON - U.S. Park Police are warning occupy protesters that they must stop camping at two Washington parks on Monday or risk arrest. The National Park Service is distributing fliers to protesters Friday at McPherson Square on K Street and at Freedom Plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue. The notice says protesters must comply with regulations that prohibit camping at those sites by noon on Monday. The move comes after a House oversight subcommittee hearing Tuesday where Republican lawmakers questioned why camping has been allowed since October. The park service said 24-hour vigils are allowed. The park service defines camping as using park land for "living accommodation purposes such as sleeping." It says camping materials must be removed and temporary structures must be left open to allow for inspection.

- Father, we bind up spirits of lawlessness, anarchy, intimidation, and class warfare, from these "Occupy" movements, and release to them spirits of gratitude and thankfulness that we live in a great country, where everyone is able to demonstrate peacefully, and express their opinions without fear of reprisal. May they ignore the calls from the radical left encouraging them to violence and civil disobedience. We ask that they will come to understand that violence will just turn public opinion against them, increasingly. May these people increase in wisdom and understanding, that they, too, can increase their incomes by hard work, and not through "hand-outs". Amen.

- "For while we were yet with you, we gave you this rule and charge: If anyone will not work, neither let him eat. Indeed, we hear that some among you are disorderly [that they are passing their lives in idleness, neglectful of duty], being busy with other people's affairs instead of their own and doing no work." (2 Thessalonians 3:10,11)

1. 84% of Israelis believe in God - Israel Hayom

A full 84 percent of Israelis believe in God, a new study has shown, and that number is on the rise.

2. Report: IDF officer told cabinet 'we can't stop Iran nuke program' - Ynet News

A senior IDF officer told cabinet last fall that the army does not have the ability to hit the Iranian nuclear program in a "meaningful way," a security official told Time magazine.

3. Dempsey: US, Israel view Iran threat very differently - Ynet News

The United State and Israel view the Iranian nuclear threat very differently, Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said.

4. 'Massive' Blockade Needed to Stop Iran Threat, Israel's Steinitz Says
- Bloomberg

A "massive" aerial and naval blockade of Iran, reminiscent of the 1962 U.S. quarantine of Cuba, is needed to stop the Islamic regime from pursuing nuclear weapons, Israeli Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said. The European Union's ban on imports of Iranian crude and other economic sanctions "might not be sufficient" to deter Iran's nuclear ambitions, Steinitz, 53, said today in an interview at Bloomberg's headquarters in New York. 5. Former IDF Chief: Israel Must Prepare for War - Israel National News

Former IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi warned, Thursday, that Israel could not afford to cut its defense budget and should prepare itself for war.

"In comparison to 10 years ago, the possibility of a conflict is not something that we just need to talk about," Ashkenazi said during a lecture at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

"We never saw it coming. It happened on my watch, so it must be said. But if it's any consolation, Egypt never saw it coming either," Ashkenazi said of the so-called Arab Spring protests that have now turned into an Islamic winter in elections throughout the Arab world.

"The Middle East's plates are shifting. What the Egyptian army didn't know, I couldn't have known. (Egypt's) leaders did not know either," he said, adding the ultimate strategic pi cture was still changing. . .

Presidential Deception--Above the law, below the radar

The man who occupies the Oval Office ignored a court order on January 26, thereby breaking the law. He was ordered to attend an Administrative Court hearing in Atlanta, Georgia concerning whether he is eligible to be on the Georgia ballot as a candidate. The president's legal council wrote a letter to Brian Kemp, Georgia's Secretary of State, advising that his client and battery of lawyers will "suspend" participation in the hearing. The hearing took place as scheduled in a packed Atlanta courtroom with the defendant's table empty. There was a small story on Drudge Report giving few details of the hearing. In this case, and others, the president is above the law, and below the radar of the public.

Kemp wrote the president's council: "In following the procedures set forth in the Georgia Election Code, I expect the administrative law judge to report his findings to me after his full consideration of the evidence and law. Upon receipt of the report, I will fully and fairly review the entire record and initial decision of the administrative law judge. Anything you and your client place in the record in response to the challenge will be beneficial to my review of the initial decision; however, if you and your client choose to suspend your participation in the OSAH proceedings, please understand that you do so at your own peril." At the hearing, it appeared that the president had submitted no information for the record.

The hearing was streamed live on the internet. It was difficult to hear witness introductions, etc., and there appears to be no mainstream media having any detailed reports. Sources at the scene report that the judge called plaintiff council into his chamber and wanted to issue a default judgment against the president. Council argued in favor of holding the hearing to place the testimonies into court records. The testimonies from various experts demonstrated three main points: 1) that the man holding the office of president is not a natural born citizen, 2) his identity is in question because his social security number is fraudulent, and 3) his birth certificate is a high tech forgery. There was no rebuttal by the defendant.

The testimonies gave detailed information that cast tremendous doubt on the president's identity, his citizenship, and conflicting information he has provided. They were professional and compelling, and now they are a matter of court record--even if the news media will not report them. Whether the president wants to recognize there is a question about his eligibility, he is defiantly stonewalling the process. Any other American citizen who refused to obey a court order would be held in contempt and perhaps jailed. The news media, given its freedom of speech, is abrogating this essential duty to a free society by not covering it. Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deception abounds as it appears above the law and below the radar.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Federal Court Rules in Favor of Religious Freedom

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled today that a graduate student's First Amendment rights were likely violated when Eastern Michigan University (EMU) expelled her from the counseling program in which she was enrolled.

In her graduate-level practicum in 2009, Julea Ward was assigned a client seeking help in reconciling her same-sex relationship in 2009. Ward, who is a Christian, didn't feel she'd be the best counselor for that case, so she asked her supervisor how to handle it - and her supervisor referred the client to another qualified professional, a standard counseling practice. But afterward, EMU started disciplinary proceedings against her, and ultimately expelled her from the program because of her religious beliefs. (CitizenLink) Read more.

In addition, Of the decision Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said:

"Americans should be thankful for Julea Ward's victory in her effort to practice her Christian faith while studying to become a professional counselor. While this case is not over, Judge Sutton's opinion makes the strong argument that professional counselors who practice their faith cannot be denied the ability to refer patients for values-based reasons when a person could refer a patient to another counselor for secular reasons. The decision marks an important step in defending the religious and intellectual freedoms of Americans."

- Offer a chorus of praise for this decision rendered by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Praise the Lord!

- "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."
(Psalm 33:12)

Focus: Obama's Losing Bets

Obama's Losing Bets: Another "Green" Bankruptcy

Another Obama-backed "green energy" company went bankrupt this week, and House Republicans are demanding answers.

Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL), chairman of the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on oversight and investigations, said, "One bankruptcy may be a fluke, two could be coincidence, but three is a trend. Our investigation continues, and we are working to ensure taxpayers are never again stuck paying hundreds of millions of dollars because of the administration's risky bets."

The [unconstitutionally qualified] Obama condemns speculation on Wall Street, but he is speculating all the time with your tax dollars! Worse, he said in his State of the Union address that he intends to "double-down" on these risky "clean energy" bets. (Gary Bauer; End of Day; Jan. 27, 2012) Read more.

International Holocaust Day - January 27, 2012

Introduction:

Around the world today, there were many observances in remembrance of the millions who died during the Holocaust.

Never again!

Please note, below, a very special film, "Repentance," that honors the victims of the Holocaust, and provides a means of healing of memories of that tragic era.Thank you.

Film description: Two thousand years of anti-Semitic Church history deeply wounded many Jewish hearts and have burdened the Christian conscience. Is healing and reconciliation still possible? The 1950s saw the rise of a repentance movement in Germany, which has continued to this day. In this documentary, Christians and Jews speak openly. Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel states, "It is rewarding to see good Christians who realize that the past of Christianity for us Jews is a source of anguish." This unique presentation provides an answer that deeply touches the heart.

The airings of "Repentance" will continue on several Jewish networks January 27-29, 2012.

Florida Presidential Primary Prayer Guide: January 31

On January 31, 2012, the Florida Republican Presidential Preference Primary will be held. This is an important time for our nation as Florida's voice is heard in the political arena. Let's rise up together in prayer and action to shape the history of our nation through prayer, worship, fasting and activism.

Florida is the first large state to hold its primary. With an estimated population of nineteen million, Florida takes fourth place in size after California, Texas and New York. Over half-a-million citizens are Jewish. Close to six million residents are Christian or Roman Catholic. (2010 U.S. Census) Historically, the state's influence can be seen in the 2008 Florida Republican Primary where winner Senator John McCain went on to receive the Republican Party nomination to run for President. The same is true for former President George W. Bush during the 2000 election year.

What to Pray

* Pray for the church of Florida to rise up as a righteous voice. Call forth those who have been ignorant of the election process to awaken to the state of our nation. Ask the Lord to activate the church to pray and vote to shift our nation.

* Pray for our leaders: 1 Timothy 2:1-3 - "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."

* Ask the Lord to reveal His righteous leaders for our nation and our state that will promote Biblical principles and stand with Israel. Declare that God's Eliakim for this hour will come forth (Isaiah 22).

* Pray for the election workers, that they will work with integrity and honesty as they perform their tasks from January 21 - January 31 (early voting opens on January 21) (Source: Reformation Prayer Network) Read more.
