- "I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the Lord has done." (Psalm 118:17 NLT)
2. Boehner gives Obama Friday deadline on Libya - Washington Times
Stepping up a simmering constitutional conflict, House Speaker John A. Boehner warned Obama on Tuesday that unless he gets authorization from Congress for his military deployment in Libya, he will be in violation of the War Powers Resolution.
- God, we ask that You will send warring angels to the White House and block any military deployment of our men to Libya. Move mightily, Lord, that this will not happen. Break the powers of evil that would initiate this plan by the blood of Jesus. In Jesus Name we pray.
- "The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name. Your right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed in pieces the enemy." (Exodus 15:3, 6)

It's official: The housing crisis that began in 2006 and has recently entered a double dip is now worse than the Great Depression.
- Father, hold back the powers of darkness that they cannot move to destroy the United States. Paralyze those that devise wicked plans. God, bring repentance over our land that souls be saved and we as a nation turn to God so we can be saved from the clutches of evil men. In Jesus Name.

- God, come down upon this insidious spirit of homosexualism. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God Himself when He saw men lusting after men. God we cry out with the loudest cry possible to save us from having fire and brimstone rain down from heaven upon us, as happened when You destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Repent, repent, repent in the mighty name of Jesus.
- "Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; and He overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground." (Genesis 19:24-25)

Send angels to unlock the doors that need to be open for the world to have food. Work a miracle, Lord. Work a miracle and break this curse. In the name of Jesus.
- "Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your kine, and the flocks of your sheep. Blessed shall be your basket and your store." (Deuteronomy 28:3-5)

The Middle East in Focus
This week, for all the headlines cited below, please join us in proclaiming THIS DECREE:
"In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them." (Zech. 12:8)

3. US, EU officials in Israel work to stop Palestinian UN move - Jerusalem Post

4. PM: Palestinians won't compromise if all demands are met - Jerusalem Post

The Daily Jot
Because we have a right to know
Over the next few weeks, The Daily Jot will from time to time discuss the entire concept of nation building as it relates to the Middle East and what now are terrorist allies. This is important because it is an indicator of leadership gone terribly awry. While the world was analyzing the US president's May 19 speech on Middle East policy from the lens of how it impacts Israel, a much greater and problematic aspect of the speech was largely overlooked. It is the nearly unbelievable public shift in foreign policy toward nation building and opening up Middle Eastern nations to so-called self determination by applying all the tools at America's disposal--military, financial, political--to destabilize current governments and institute self rule.
He said, "Today I want to make it clear that it is a top priority that must be translated into concrete actions, and supported by all of the diplomatic, economic and strategic tools at our disposal. Let me be specific. First, it will be the policy of the United States to promote reform across the region, and to support transitions to democracy." He admitted, "Not every country will follow our particular form of representative democracy, and there will be times when our short-term interests don't align perfectly with our long-term vision for the region." This admission is in reality a disclaimer that terrorist organizations may well end up in power. They will because this White House is funding them and partnering with them.
The overall consequence of this stated policy will be terrorist-supporting groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda, and al Qaeda wings rising to power in these nations in the name of self determination. Worse yet, your tax money and your children will be used to assist in this horrible cause. Already, the president and Congress are squaring off over the Constitutionality of America's involvement in the war in Libya. It is an undeniable example of where the US, against the Constitution and many other laws, is funding the overthrow of a government through rebel leadership that was not only fighting against American soldiers in Afghanistan, but also has an intimate relationship with al Qaeda.
Yes, unfortunately America has been involved in nation building in the past. But America's leaders--of both political parties--are guilty of allowing this White House to advance a nation building strategy that involves organizations whose stated purpose is to destroy Israel and takeover the United States. I know it is difficult to believe. In the weeks ahead, however, The Daily Jot will show you proof. Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." Let us not be among those who are deceived. We will seek the truth and then we will have to develop a plan of action to overcome evil with good.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The Good News Corner:
Alabama Set to Join Five States in Banning Abortions After 20 Weeks
Summary: National pro-life movement energizing elected officials like never before.
With just minutes to spare, the Alabama Legislature voted to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, potentially joining Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska in banning abortion after 20 weeks -- or five months of pregnancy.
Gov. Robert Bentley is expected to sign the bill into law. Oregon, Massachusetts and Minnesota are considering similar model legislation.
Mary Spaulding Balch, director of state legislation for the National Right to Life Committee, said states benefit from such laws. "Modern medical science furnishes us with compelling evidence that unborn children recoil from painful stimuli," Balch said, "that their stress hormones increase when they are subjected to any painful stimuli, and that they require anesthesia for fetal surgery."
Cheryl Ciamarra, legislative director for Alabama Citizens for Life, said the national pro-life fervor has taken the Legislature by storm. "I've been observing (the Legislature) and advocating for many years," Ciamarra said, "and have never seen individual representatives seriously considering the value of human life like they have this session." (CitizenLink)
[Editor's note: we do rejoice at this report, but we ask continued prayer of our own "constituents" until all abortions are ruled to be illegal from the time of conception through birth . . in all fifity states. Amen.]
