1. HUSSEIN OBAMA CAMPAIGNS FOR FLOUNDERING MASS. DEMOCRAT
BOSTON - His agenda at risk, President Barack Obama fought on Sunday to save a sinking Democratic U.S. Senate candidate and the critical 60th vote needed for his health care plan while the White House and congressional Democrats scrambled to pass the legislation quickly in case of a loss. . .
The unexpectedly tight race for the seat held so long by Edward M. Kennedy, in a state where registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by 3-to-1, reflects a nasty anti-establishment environment that threatens Obama's support in Congress now and heading into this fall's elections. Brown, a little-known state senator, has tapped into voter anger and anxiety over federal spending to pull even with Coakley, the state's attorney general. (OneNewsNow) Read more.

2. MASSACHUSETTS SENATE RACE INTENSIFIES
With several polls indicating that the Massachusetts Senate special election battle between state Attorney General Martha Coakley (D) and state Sen. Scott Brown (R) is closer than had been expected, the race is drawing extensive national attention, both from political organizations and the media.
The Associated Press, for example, says that over the past two days, Coakley, the DSCC and the Service Employees International Union have launched ads attacking Brown, the AP relates, "The onslaught of negative TV ads and arrival of out-of-state operatives underscore Democrats' worry that their hold on the seat in a solidly Democratic state is in jeopardy - and that they could lose the pivotal 60th Senate vote needed to pass Obama's health care overhaul and other legislation."
The Boston Globe reports the state has "become ground zero" in the health care battle, "and groups on both sides of the issue have emerged to blast mostly negative ads at the relatively small electorate that will decide the election Tuesday." On its front page, the New York Times reports, "With a crucial 60th vote in the Senate at stake," the perceived tightening of the race "has sent Democratic operatives scrambling to Massachusetts to" aid Coakley's campaign, including former President Bill Clinton, who campaigned with her on Friday. - We already see God's hand at work! Only He could bring such attention to all the world and prompt so many to pray for the election of Scott Brown. Do not grow weary in well-doing! Ask the Lord to eliminate the effects of the negative campaign taking place in MA and to do whatever is required to bring the voters out to the polling places to elect His choice for this Senate seat

3. MASSACHUSETTS OFFICIAL: SEATING OF WINNER "COULD TAKE WEEKS"
Meanwhile, the AP (1/14) reports that Massachusetts Secretary of State William F. Galvin (D) "says it could take weeks to certify the results" of the election, a "delay" which "could let President Barack Obama preserve" the "key 60th vote for his health care overhaul even if" Brown wins. (Us News and World Report)
- Pray against any delay in the determining of the winner. The American people are tired of the games being played to bring into law a bill that is offensive and wasteful. Pray that the vote is so overwhelming for a candidate, no questions needed to be asked. Pray for peace and order at the polling places so that no one is intimidated by thugs. Pray for accurate and clear voting machines, or whatever type of voting is used in MA

4. DEMOCRATS PLAN AN "END-RUN" TO PASS HEALTH CARE IF BROWN WINS
Meanwhile, the Associated Press is reporting that if Brown wins on Tuesday, Democrats are working on a plan to salvage their health care bill. A Brown victory would mean the Democrats would lose their 60-seat filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. So, according to the AP report, the Democrats are discussing a fallback plan that would require House Democrats to approve the Senate bill without changes -- meaning the president could sign it into law without another Senate vote.(One News Now) Read more.
- Come against any tricks, subterfuges, deceptive strategies, and tyrannical moves that would force this piece of legislation down the throats of the American people, without correct congressional safeguards being honored. Pray!

5. ANOTHER "END RUN" STRATEGY: "RECONCILIATION"
DEMS WEIGH OTHER OPTIONS FOR PASSING HEALTH CARE IF GOP WINS KENNEDY'S SEAT
Chris Van Hollen, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, told Bloomberg this week that Democrats are still considering reconciliation, a tactic that forbids filibusters and allow bills to pass with just 51 votes, or a simple majority. The procedural move known as reconciliation, called the "nuclear option" because it would shut down a GOP filibuster, has been discussed by Democrats since last year as a last resort to pass health care reform legislation intended to lower health costs and cover millions of uninsured Americans. (Democrats hold a commanding majority in the House, and in the Senate, their 60 votes enough to avoid a filibuster. But the balance could change if Republican Scott Brown beats Democrat Martha Coakley on Tuesday to win the late Ted Kennedy's former Senate seat.)
If Republicans win, Obama and Democratic congressional leaders would have a political window of perhaps days if they were to try ramming a final bill through the Senate -- at considerable risk of incurring public wrath. All 40 Republicans are opposed to the legislation out of concern that it costs too much and increases the government's role in the health care industry.
At the White House on Friday, spokesman Robert Gibbs was unequivocal that Obama's effort would prove successful. "As you heard the president say yesterday, we're going to get health care done," he said. (FOXNews.com)

6. FINAL FRANTIC RUN FOR HEALTH CARE
Democrats -- led by Hussein Obama himself -- are deploying this weekend to salvage an unpredictable Senate race in Massachusetts, while senior White House and congressional staffers in Washington hurry to finish work on cost and coverage options at the heart of the sweeping legislation. Democrats put on a bold public face Friday, while working behind the scenes with grim determination. Negotiators are "pretty close," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said at the end of a week of marathon negotiations to reconcile House- and Senate- passed versions. . . Even with an agreement on cost and coverage issues, Obama and congressional Democrats would have to resolve controversy over abortion, coverage of immigrants and other issues before sealing a final compromise.
At the White House, spokesman Robert Gibbs was unequivocal that Obama's effort would prove successful. "As you heard the president say yesterday, we're going to get health care done," he said.
Not everyone was quite so certain, particularly given poll results from Massachusetts that showed Republican Scott Brown within reach of an upset over Democrat Martha Coakley in a three-way race. "If Scott Brown wins, it'll kill the health bill," said Rep. Barney Frank, D- Mass, reflecting that the Republican would provide opponents of the health care bill a decisive 41st vote to uphold a filibuster and block passage in the Senate. - Pray that the Lord will stop this bill in its tracks. It needs to be totally scratched and begun again without the hurry. Something is urging this passage - new measures that will further control the American public? More money to be spent to drive down the economy even more? Stand up, America, and pray!

7. AMISH TO BE EXEMPTED FROM HEALTH CARE LEGISLATION
Most Americans would have to prove they have insurance or face a fine under the health reform legislation that is now nearing the finish line in Congress, but at least one group won't have to worry, on religious grounds..
Democrats are planning to exempt the Amish and similar religious groups from the health insurance mandate in the final health care bill. That's because when the Amish need medical care, they go to regular doctors and hospitals and pay in cash often with financial help from their church and neighbors. They rely on each other, not the government or insurance companies as a tenet of their faith.
"The Amish believe it's the fundamental responsibility of the church to care for the material needs of the members of the church," said Steven Nolt, a professor at Goshen College who has written books on the Plain community of Amish. "And so they don't buy commercial health insurance and they don't participate in public assistance programs." (AP)
- Please call on our Just and Holy God and on help from Him alone, that none would come under this breach of our Constitution and the ensuing loss of freedoms that this bill mandates. Intercede that we and our children, and principally those in the household of faith, for whom we are to be especially careful, will be protected from such tyranny! Decree the fall and doom of this and any legislation that would hinder our right to be righteous, our right to be free, and to live under the godly legal system for which our devout forefathers gave their lives. Ask the Lord for wisdom that all freedoms would remain in tact for the American people and their posterity.

1. ONE YEAR LATER: A VERY DECEITFUL ADMINISTRATION
Barack Obama's administration is turning into one of the most dishonest administrations (remember Richard Nixon's?) in American history, and ,indeed, on its way to becoming the most corrupt administration. It's deceitfulness is boundless. The latest example of this occurred yesterday behind closed doors at the White House during secret negotiations on ObamaCare, the socialized medicine scheme which the Democrats are determined to cram down the throats of the American people. Two-thirds of American seniors are opposed to ObamaCare.
Barack Obama made this promise at least 8 times during his campaign, including one year ago this month: "That's what I will do in bringing all parties together, not negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together, and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are..." (January 31, 2008.)
"They're only allowing union-label Democrats in the room. They're banishing cameras and blocking out the American people from the debate. So much for transparency and campaign pledges. But even in these secret "negotiations," one promise you can be certain Barack Obama will never break: 'I owe these unions . . . .I don't mind feeling obligated.'"
Even the citizens of the most liberal state in the union, Massachusetts, are rejecting Barack Obama's, Nancy Pelosi's and Harry Reid's socialist agenda. This is a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans in voter registration by about 4 to 1. Yet, if the Republican, Army colonel Scott Brown wins next Tuesday, the Democrats are determined to keep him from providing the key vote against ObamaCare and by voting against Obama's socialized medicine scheme in the Senate by stallinig his swearing-in ceremony.
Talk about arrogance of power and corruption. If the Democrats try to get ObamaCare passed by using this extremely deceitful method to pass it, not only would the Democrats lose control of the House of Representatives and the Senate this November, but like the previous worst American president in history, Jimmy Carter, Obama would be a one-term president and would take over Carter's title as the worst. • We need not despair, for our God knows what is done in darkness and secrecy, and He is able to move all measures of man to establish His goodness in this land. We do need to pray and repent that America was so blinded by the lies that he was voted into office! And we allowed the media to manipulate our thinking. Lying is one of the flaws of man that God hates.

2. DOBBS: IT'S A REASONABLE QUESTION TO ASK WHERE OBAMA WAS BORN
Lou Dobbs has countered the extreme criticism he has received for merely asking to see documentary evidence as to where the man who goes by the name Barack Hussein Obama II was born. His comments appear in last week's edition (Jan.12, 2010) of Esquire Magazine, in an interview he granted that publication.
Former CNN host Lou Dobbs is standing by his questioning of President Barack Obama's birthplace. Dobbs told Esquire in an interview posted on the magazine's website Monday that questioning whether Obama was born in Hawaii - as a certificate of live birth and state officials confirm - is "common sense." "I ask a question, and I am attacked from the extreme left as a quote-unquote birther," Dobbs told the magazine. "I mean, what the hell is that? When you can create a controversy by asking what seems to me still a perfectly common sense question?" "It has been used in the extreme left to create a toxicity that is just unbelievable," he added.
Seeing that there are numerous facts which support a reasonable basis of doubt about Obama's place of birth, the virulence of the attack waged upon Lou Dobbs is just another nail in the coffin of Obama's credibility. If you were born in Hawaii, then show your original vital record! If you have been caught in a big lie, come clean and resign! For goodness sake. (ESQUIRE MAGAZINE)
- Praise the Lord for Lou Dobbs, who has shown the determination to pursue the truth about Obama's place of birth! Here is another example of the moral corruption and lack of transparency that plagues the White House administration. Some people are running scared! Keep on submitting the question of Obama's birth to the Lord, and the truth will be revealed when the Lord is ready.

3. OBAMA SEEKING TAX ON BIGGEST BANKS
Mindful of soaring deficits and an anti-Wall Street mood, President Barack Obama wants a new 10-year tax on the country's largest banks to cover a projected $117 billion shortfall in the government's financial crisis bailout fund. (AP)
- Is this move by the president another in his plan to control the US economy? Who will pay this tax? The taxpayers? It's time for the WH administration to get out of the business of control! Keep an eye on this measure, for it is quite possible that it will be attached to another that Americans do desire. Are the king's fingers getting slimy from touching too much money?

4. HAWAII REP. NEIL ABERCROMBIE TO RESIGN FEB. 28TH; WILL RUN FOR GOVERNOR
Hawaii finds funds to hold special election
Hawaii may be able to afford its special election to fill an open congressional seat after all.
Gov. Linda Lingle plans to ask state lawmakers to spend $1.3 million recently found in an accounting error to pay for the election, which could occur as soon as May 1.
State Comptroller Russ Saito says he's sending documents to the governor Thursday so that she can ask the state Legislature for the emergency appropriation to spend the money. Without the money, the state lacks the $925,000 to hold a vote-by-mail election to fill the U.S. House seat opening caused by U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie's pending resignation. Former congressman Ed Case, state Senate President Colleen Hanabusa and Honolulu City Councilman Charles Djou will run in the winner-take-all election. (AP)

- Offer praise that the State of Hawaii has found the money to fund this special election. Pray for Rep. Abercrombie as he moves into his new arena; and lift up this congressional race in Hawaii. Ask our Lord to grant His wisdom to each voter in that district, as they cast their ballots for a new member of Congress in May.

5. OBAMA TSA NOMINEE CALLS PRO-LIFE ADVOCATES "TERRORISTS" IN VIDEO
President Barack Obama's nominee to head the agency charged with keeping American travelers safe from terrorism thinks pro-life advocates are terrorists. A new video shows Transportation Security Administration nominee Erroll Southers including pro-life advocates in a list of terrorist groups. The new video from 2008 shows Southers responding to a documentary-style interview question about terrorist organizations.
The documentary asked Southers, "Which home-grown terrorist groups pose the greatest danger to the U.S." Southers explained, "Most of the domestic groups that we pay attention to here are white supremacist groups. They're anti-government, in most cases anti-abortion, they are usually survivalist type in nature, identity oriented." "Those groups are groups that claim to be extremely anti-government and Christian identity oriented," he continues.
Sen. Jim DeMint, a South Carolina Republican, has put a hold on the nomination of Southers to head the TSA, and the new video is likely to expand opposition to his nomination. ( LifeNews)
- Continue to lift up this president as he chooses the various members of his administration. Pray that this nominee will be replaced, and pray that Mr. Obama be granted greater wisdom in the days ahead. Pray!

6. OBAMA SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER; ALLOWS INTERNATIONAL POLICE (INTERPOL) GREATER AUTHORITY
The Obama EO removes the protections put into place by President Ronald Reagan in 1983 to protect Americans from being pursued by a foreign law enforcement agency within our borders. With this Obama EO, Interpol will operate outside of the constraints of the U.S. Constitution.
On December 16, 2009, President Obama secretly signed an Executive Order 12425 (EO) that gives Interpol unprecedented access in America to pursue and prosecute "criminals." We may as well have given Interpol a badge with 666 on it.
The EO exempts Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization) from being accountable to our own law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI.
What Can Be Done?
The President has authority to issue Executive Orders, but these EOs can be nullified by Congress through legislation. An EO that violates a congressional law is illegal and must be rescinded. In addition, courts have determined that EOs are unconstitutional and have struck them down.
A lawsuit could result in the Obama Interpol EO being declared unconstitutional. The House and Senate could pass legislation ordering the repeal of the EO, but this would have to be signed into law by President Obama who wants international control over America.
The elections in November 2010, could change the balance of power in the House and Senate and give constitutionalists power once again to block liberal legislation - and to send a strong message to Obama that national sovereignty is not something to be given away to Interpol or the International Criminal Court - nor through climate change treaties or cap and tax schemes being pushed by liberals in Congress. In Executive Order 12425, Hussein Obama gave blanket immunity to Interpol, the international police force. Prior to this, Interpol had to operate within the boundaries of our Constitution while operating in the United States, honoring such protections as those granted under the Fourth Amendment, which prohibits unreasonable search and seizures. But under Obama's order, Interpol cops will have super rights that our own police do not have! They will be able to operate the way police do in nations such as Zimbabwe and Cuba. Where are the howls and cries of the ACLU?

7. PRESIDENTS CLINTON, BUSH LEAD FUNDRAISING EFFORTS FOR HAITI
Hussein Obama, joined by his predecessors, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, said Saturday the two former presidents will lead a major fundraising effort for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti that has killed tens of thousands and sparked fears of a public health disaster.
"Presidents Bush and Clinton will help the American people to do their part, because responding to disaster is the work of all of us," Obama said from the White House Rose Garden. "In these difficult hours, America stands united."
People can donate to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund online by clicking here to visit the fund's site. Obama said his decision to tap the pair was inspired by the relief effort that Clinton and George H.W. Bush led after the 2004 tsunami that struck Asia.
"That effort raised substantial resources for the victims of that disaster -- money that helped saved lives, delivered aid and rebuilt communities," Obama said. "And that's exactly what the people of Haiti need right now."
- Please pray over this assignment for real help to come to Haiti in her time of great and serious need. Intercede that Haiti's people would give glory to God, realizing that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and not necessarily from the hands of men. Ask the Lord of glory to show up in Haiti with His "loaves and fishes" and for a holy distribution of His best gifts and resources there. Pray that, as God is doing a new and virtuous work in His kingdom, that it would spill over, into the lives of these two former Presidents and their envoys, bringing truth and light into their midst for further righteous dealings.

8. TURKISH P.M. HEIGHTENS TENSION WITH ISRAEL
Turkish Prime Minister Heightens Tension with Israel One day after Israel''s deputy foreign minister summoned the Turkish ambassador for a diplomatic tongue-lashing because of a television program depicting Israeli intelligence agents as baby-snatchers, Turkey''s prime minister unleashed a scathing attack against the Jewish state.
Speaking at a news conference with visiting Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan charged that Israel "threatens world peace" by using "disproportionate power" against Palestinians and by "refusing to abide by United Nations resolutions."
Vowing "we can never remain silent in the face of Israel''s attitude," Erdogan accused Israel of violating Lebanese airspace and territorial waters and called for those members of the [UN] Security Council "who are warning Iran over nuclear weapons [to make] the same warnings to Israel." - Turkey has been an ally to Israel for many years. Pray that this relationship be salvaged and restored and that Turkey removes anti-Semitic programming from its television stations.

9. SENATORS MCCAIN, LIEBERMAN DOWNPLAY MITCHELL'S THREAT
Four senior US senators visiting Israel said Sunday [January 10] that they oppose attempts to apply pressure on Israel by freezing aid. The senators, including former Republican presidential candidate John McCain, emphasized that they would not allow the US government to authorize such a proposal.
During a press conference at Jerusalem''s David Citadel Hotel, at which senators Joe Lieberman, John Thune, and John Barrasso were also present, McCain said that he expects the White House to confirm soon that this is not its policy.
Lieberman said that any attempt to force Israel to the negotiations table by withholding aid would not pass in Congress. He added that he did not think it would come to this. Lieberman, who was the Democratic vice presidential candidate in 2000 and afterwards supported McCain for president, is now an independent senator though still part of the Democratic faction in the Senate.
