What is happening in Boulder, Colorado?

Dear Saints of the Most High God,

"The Lord is good, and His mercies endureth forever." (Psalm 136:1)

God is now moving mightily upon the hearts of His people in our nation, and He is speaking the same, one word to all:

"Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand."

In response, we have just completed our own series, "Ten Steps to Preparing our Hearts to Enter In," based upon the teachings of E. Stanley Jones.

Now, there are two more steps that can be taken to respond to the call of God in this hour -- both of which are taking place in Boulder, Colorado at the end of this month.

Those steps are:

A Day of Repentance

July 31, 2009

2 Chronicles 7:14-16 -- "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually."

Strategic prayer leaders across America share a sense of urgency to call for prayer at a national level. Now is the time to humble ourselves, seek God's face, repent, turn from wickedness and implore God to hear our prayers and to heal our land. A key component of this corporate national prayer is repentance and intercession for the Church in accordance with the Declaration of Repentance which can be viewed at www.daysofrepentance.org

We believe that the Day of Repentance will serve as a catalyst for the Promise Keepers' conference event that will begin Friday evening, July 31 and also for the Church worldwide as a necessary step in seeing the Glory of God cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)

How can you join this corporate national prayer movement?

Go to www.daysofrepentance.org to register. Please note: you still need to register for A Day of Repentance even if you have already registered for the Promise Keepers conference event that begins Friday evening. Even though this is a free event and open to all, it is important to register to assist in the logistic preparations.

2. Pray!

Wherever you are, set aside special time on July 31 to pray in accordance with the Declaration of Repentance. Whether you meet with a prayer partner, or a prayer group, or you meet with God alone, take time to humble yourself and pray.

Consider hosting a Day of Repentance prayer gathering in your home or community to come into agreement with the corporate Declaration of Repentance found on the Web site.
As we stand in a place of repentance across this nation . . . as we lift our voice with declarations that we are determined to turn from our wicked ways . . . God hears . . . God will forgive . . . God will release cleansing and refreshing across our nation and position us as a dwelling place of His glory, His Presence.

The Vision is Spoken

In 1997 Promise Keepers gathered one million men on the mall in Washington, D.C. to pray for our nation. I believe it was one of the great turning moments in America. One week later I spoke forth the vision that out of the fathers of Promise Keepers would come a youth movement of fasting and prayer that would change the destiny of America. That word was fulfilled in September, 2000 when 400,000 young people gathered on the mall for TheCall D.C. to fast and pray.

The Turning of Hearts

For years I have felt that Promise Keepers and TheCall would connect and would release a blessing into the nation - the turning of the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers(Mal 4:6). I feel we could be in that moment. On July 31st through August 1st, Coach Bill McCartney, the visionary and founder of the Promise Keepers movement, is once again gathering the men of America to Folsom Field in Boulder, CO for the event "A Time to Honor" with a clear prophetic voice that I believe will open a portal of heaven's countenance and power over the nation. Though this is not primarily a prayer gathering, I believe we are in a moment when the youth and young adults that have been apart of TheCall should come and gather with the fathers to hear the Word of the Lord and enact spiritual transaction with heaven to realign the nation by honoring our Jewish roots, our wives and mothers, and turn our hearts to the poor. This joining of young people with Promise Keepers in an act of honor could, I believe, move the heart of heaven for America.

A Great Convergence

God promises at the end of the age, that something is coming to earth that is more powerful than the rebellion. Malachi 4:5-6 trumpets this sure word of prophecy: "I will send you the prophet Elijah . . . and he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers lest I come and strike the land with a curse." I would like to ask God for 5,000 young people with a burning prayer for America to come and pray for and honor the fathers and mothers as we gather in Colorado. I will be praying and speaking at a young men and women's breakout during that day. Let there be a convergence with Promise Keepers and TheCall on this great day. The rebellion is rumbling across the land. Let the turning of hearts begin.
Let the Voice be Heard

The hand of the Lord was on Coach Bill McCartney over ten years ago; he was the prophetic voice that I believe launched one of the greatest movements of restoration in American history. When this man's prophetic voice is heard again, I believe, the Church must weigh it heavily before God and respond. As 2 Chronicles 20:20 says, "Believe His prophets, and you will prosper."

Join 5400 Watchmen on the Wall [Released by Promise Keepers]

As the Holy Spirit draws 50,000 people into the stadium and Fills Folsom Field, He will encourage, equip and empower them to become what the Father has destined them to be from the foundation of the world. We are challenging you to enlist today in "5400 Watchmen on the Wall" to be warring intercessors to stand in the gap and make up the Wall on behalf of this event.

You might ask, "Why 5400?" Folsom Field is situated at 5400 feet above sea level, one of the highest college stadiums in the nation.

We will keep you informed as to specific prayer targets:

- The Prayer Department staff will provide weekly prayer updates that will be available on the Prayer Page.

- The Prayer Department staff will host two monthly Front Range intercessory prayer meetings.
We are asking you to pray fervently with us as we agree to see the Holy Spirit Fill Folsom Field. When the Holy Spirit Fills Folsom Field, the lives of women, the poor, oppressed, needy and the fathers of our faith will be transformed and will heal the divides. To accomplish this, we are recruiting "5400 Watchmen on the Wall" warring male and female intercessors to stand in the gap and make up the Wall on behalf of men, women, children, pastors, rabbis, and leaders from across the nation Fight to Finish Faithfully the race set before them.

We are also soliciting your assistance in recruiting warring intercessors to enlist in F F F "5400 Watchmen on the Wall".

Special Prayer Requests

God is stirring hearts at the 11th hour. Please keep the Promise Keepers conference, the Called Out youth/young adult session, and the Day of Repentance AT THE FOREFRONT OF YOUR PRAYERS. Just as Esther and Daniel called on those around them to passionately intercede for God's hand to move, I believe we need to do the same. Here are some specific areas to pray about:

• We have 500 Native Americans coming to this conference from reservations throughout the western US. They are coming with no money, nowhere to stay and nothing to eat. They feel God has called them to be here and they have responded. Promise Keepers is working to provide these necessities for them. Praise the Lord - Chick-fil-A in Boulder has agreed to donate 500 sandwiches for their meal on Friday evening. We are working with other businesses to secure the other meals and lodging. (Phil. 4:19)

• Pray that the youth/young adults that are hearing this message (see below) that is being sent out by Lou Engle will be stirred in their hearts and will make their way to Boulder. The young people of the Church are going to be the warriors that take the Fire throughout the world.

• Pray for favor as Coach Mac is trying to get access to the four major tv networks (FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC) to help get the word out.

• Pray that among the more than 1 million people along the Front Range of Colorado, God will draw those whom He is calling to be a part of this.
