"Advent: Week Three" -- JOY

Focus on Israel

1. Israel says 'understandings' with Russia reached over Syria --Times of Israel

The IDF said Wednesday that a delegation that traveled to Moscow to discuss coordination in Syria, and to hold a briefing on the operation on Israel's northern border, had "reached understandings" with its Russian counterparts and agreed to continue working together. Israel and Russia have been at loggerheads since the downing of a Russian spy plane by Syrian air defenses following an Israeli attack on a suspected Iranian facility near Latakia on September 17.

The Israeli officers, headed by Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, commander of the IDF's Technology and Logistics Directorate, briefed the Russians on Operation Northern Shield, the newly launched operation to find and destroy Hezbollah cross-border attack tunnels, which Israel says the Iran-backed terror group has dug into Israeli territory from southern Lebanon.

2. Australia recognizes West Jerusalem as Israel's capital - Times of Israel

Australia on Saturday officially recognized West Jerusalem as Israel's capital, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said, but a contentious embassy shift from Tel Aviv will not occur until a peace settlement is achieved. "The Australian government has decided that Australia now recognizes West Jerusalem, as the seat of the Knesset and many of the institutions of government, is the capital of Israel," he said.

He said the decision respects both a commitment to a two-state solution and longstanding respect for relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

3. PA blasts Australia's recognition of Jerusalem - Israel National News

The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Saturday strongly criticized Australia's announcement of its recognition of western Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Yusuf al-Mahmoud, a spokesman for the PA cabinet, said that the Australian government's decision to recognize western Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was a "wrong step" and showed an incorrect understanding of the political reality and decisions of the international institutions on Jerusalem since 1947.

Mahmoud called on other countries not to relocate their embassies to Jerusalem and to recognize the Arab city of Al-Quds as the natural capital of the "state of Palestine" in accordance with UN resolutions that established that "the West Bank and East Jerusalem are part of the Palestinian land occupied by Israel in 1967."

He stressed that any state that transfers its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem or recognizes western Jerusalem or the two parts of the city as the capital of the "occupying state" violates international law and takes a step which is an attack against the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nation.

4. EU court throws out Hamas appeal over terror listing - Israel National News

A top EU court on Friday threw out an appeal by the Hamas terrorist organization against its listing by the bloc as a terrorist organization, AFP reports.

The General Court of the EU rejected a bid by Hamas to end a freeze on assets held in the bloc that was imposed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks in the United States.

The ruling by the Luxembourg-based court is the latest round in a protracted legal battle between the EU and Hamas, which has opposed the sanctions from the outset.

"By its judgment today . . . the General Court dismisses Hamas' appeal concerning the acts of the Council adopted between 2010 and 2014 and in 2017," the bloc's second-highest tribunal said.

5. Hundreds clash with Israeli forces north of Ramallah - Jerusalem Post

Hamas failed to escalate tensions with Israel on Friday after a week of two drive-by shootings and widespread raids against Hamas activists in the West Bank.

Clashes across the West Bank were relatively small, with hundreds participating and one Palestinian teen reported killed in Jalazone north of Ramallah. The IDF and Border police succeeded in dispersing rioters while Palestinian Security Forces also cracked down on pro-Hamas demonstrations.

On Thursday night the IDF launched an operation across the West Bank in response to the attack at Givat Asaf in which two soldiers were killed. According to a statement the IDF apprehended 40 suspects, 37 of them known as Hamas activists. According to Palestinian media Hamas activists were detained in Hebron, Ramallah, Azariya and other areas. Hamas pushed for widespread disturbances across the West Bank, using social media to encourage an "explosion" in the West Bank. On Friday morning a Palestinian assailant attacked an IDF soldier at a military post in Beit El.

Hamas held rallies in Gaza to celebrate the 31st anniversary of its founding on Friday. It hoped to use these rallies to escalate tensions in the West Bank. This would gain it influence in negotiations with Fatah, the leading party in the Palestinian Authority, where it is trying to get an agreement that would end Hamas isolation in Gaza. The attacks this week were supposed to showcase Hamas power. However across the West Bank it was unable to gain a purchase through demonstrations or rallies. In the morning there were protests reported in Nablus and Tulkarem in which Hamas flags were seen. Palestinian Security forces clamped down on the rallies in Nablus and on a Hamas demonstration in Hebron. Women supporters of Hamas played a major role in Hebron, clashing with Palestinian police. Local media expressed shock that the Palestinian police used batons against Palestinian male and female demonstrators.

7. UN Approves Terror, Torpedoes Peace -

Although a majority of UN member states voted in favor of a US-sponsored resolution condemning the activities of Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups, it failed to be adopted at the UN General Assembly. The resolution condemned Hamas for "repeatedly firing rockets into Israel and for inciting violence, thereby putting civilians at risk", and for its use of resources to construct military infrastructure "including tunnels to infiltrate Israel and equipment to launch rockets into civilian areas."

Although 87 members voted in favor, and 58 against with 32 abstentions, the resolution failed, because prior to the vote, the General Assembly passed a different resolution requiring a two-thirds majority for endorsing the US-sponsored resolution.

By failing to endorse the US-sponsored resolution, the UN has sent the following message to Palestinian terrorists: "You have nothing to worry about because the UN will not label you terrorists if you attack or kill Jews." This message has been fully absorbed by the terrorists in the Gaza Strip, who are now celebrating their "victory" at the UN.

Hours after the UN failed to endorse the resolution, the Hamas leadership announced that the "armed struggle" against Israel will continue. The announcement came as Palestinians were also marking the 31st anniversary of the eruption of the First Intifada [uprising], also known as the "Rock Intifada." "The resistance is a legitimate right guaranteed by all international laws and conventions," Hamas said. "This includes the armed struggle, which constitutes a strategic choice for safeguarding the Palestinian cause and restoring Palestinian rights." (Read more)

- Ask the Lord to move in whatever way necessary to bring an end to the horrific and blatant anti-Semitism at the UN. Ask Him to bless those nations who currently support Israel and to convict those who are avoiding the issue by abstaining.

- Arise, O God, plead your own cause; remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily. Do not forget the voice of Your enemies; the tumult of those who rise up against You increases continually. (Psalm 74:22-23)

(Prayer offered by BFP)

The Daily Brief

1. Federal judge in Texas tosses Obamacare - Washington Times

Obamacare is fatally flawed and should be considered null and void, a federal judge said Friday in a bombshell ruling that sides with state Republicans who argue the GOP-led Congress' decision to gut the "individual mandate" penalty for going uninsured makes the rest of the program invalid. The court "finds the individual mandate, unmoored from a tax, is unconstitutional," U.S. District Court Judge Reed O'Connor, an appointee of President George W. Bush presiding in Texas, wrote in his opinion.

The decision is a huge swipe at the 2010 law and sets the stage for a bigger fight in appeals courts. It will also reverberate on Capitol Hill, where Democrats are set to retake the House majority after running on a pro-Obamacare platform and criticizing GOP candidates who failed to devise a fallback plan if the lawsuit is tossed in the end.

The law's consumer protections, subsidies and expansion of Medicaid coverage are now all at risk under the ruling, which would invalidate the entire law. The administration had suggested that only the parts of Obamacare requiring insurers to accept sicker Americans and charge them the same as healthy ones should be invalidated. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we thank God that at long last Judge O'Connor is ruling in the perfect will of God. In 2010 while praying, we saw Obamacare held as a large book in the hands of Jesus, turn to sawdust as he held it and it fell between His feet destroyed by God. Every attempt to revive it has failed. We therefore pray a wonderful insurance plan will now be made available. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the dayspring from on high has visited us. To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." (Luke 1:78-79)

2. Federal judge rules Affordable Care Act unconstitutional, but appeal will leave coverage intact for now - USA Today

. . . The ruling is expected to be appealed and likely will have no immediate impact on people who buy insurance coverage through federal or state marketplaces. Most consumers still can purchase 2019 coverage on the federal marketplace through Saturday, December 15.

But it raises the prospect of another lengthy court fight between Republican and Democratic state officials that could end up at the Supreme Court. (Read more)

- Lord, we ask that the expected appeal on this decision to the Supreme Court be honored, so that Obamacare will finally be relegated to the dustbin of history. In Your name, amen.

- "But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream."
(Amos 5:24)

3. Oversight panel hearing on Clinton Foundation blows up - Washington Examiner

A congressional hearing on the Clinton Foundation turned into a fiasco on Thursday after Republicans clashed with their own witnesses - two private investigators who refused to turn over documents that they claimed showed evidence of criminal wrongdoing at the Clinton Foundation.

John Moynihan and Larry Doyle, financial analysts who say they have uncovered evidence of pay-to-play and financial crimes at the Clinton Foundation, were invited to testify on their findings by the House Oversight Committee's Republican Chairman Mark Meadows. But tensions erupted between Meadows and the two witnesses after Moynihan and Doyle refused to turn over 6,000 pages of documents that they say back up their claims - documents that the pair has already given to the FBI and the IRS.

Moynihan and Doyle said they could not turn over the documents from their investigation to the committee because they did not want to infringe on ongoing investigations at government agencies. But Meadows questioned that explanation, saying he spoke to the IRS before the hearing and was told the witnesses' work with the committee would have no impact on the status of the IRS investigation. "I don't find how [refusing to turn over information] provides a good foundation for truth and transparency," said Meadows.

Republican Rep. Jody Hice also criticized the witnesses. "I feel like you're using us for your own benefit," said Hice, adding that there was a "little game going on here." (Read more)

- Father God, may the Lord reign in this investigation and pull out all stops and give a free course for these 6,000 pages of evidence of criminal wrongdoing at the Clinton Foundation to be turned over to the Oversight panel hearing. We pray in the Name of Jesus, that this be done. Thank You, Lord.

- "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against them the do evil." (I Peter 3:12)

4. FBI Disobeys Judge; Submits Ham-Handed "302" Summary Of Flynn Interview From Six Months Later - ZeroHedge

Days before retired Army Lt. Gen Michael Flynn was set to be sentenced, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ordered the Justice Department to produce interview records from their meeting with the former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn amid a filing by Flynn's legal team suggesting that he was pressured or tricked into lying by the FBI.

Flynn pleaded guilty to one count of lying about his contacts with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, wiretapped phone calls of which the FBI had seen transcripts. After FBI agents interviewed Flynn, they would have written up a summary of the meeting in a report known as a "302," which is used by FBI agents to "report or summarize the interviews they conduct" with witnesses or suspects, and are typically filed within days of the interview.

The 302 sought by Judge Sullivan would undoubtedly shed light on the FBI's thought process and conduct surrounding the Flynn interview - as it was reported in February that the agents interviewing him, Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka, did not think Flynn was lying. Thus, Judge Sullivan's demand for the 302 summary of Flynn's interview would have likely cleared things up. Unfortunately, the Department of Justice just submitted a "302" interview of Strzok's account of the Flynn interview - which was conducted six months after the fact. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray the truth be revealed regarding Flynn's guilt or innocence, and the FBI's guilt or innocence, and the truth of how the Russians played any part in the whole incident. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.

- "Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does I not, to him it is sin."
(James 4:17)

5. WaPo's Misleading Headline Blames Border Patrol Officials For 7-Year-Old's Death - Daily Caller

A 7-year old girl died from dehydration and exhaustion after being in Border Patrol's custody for hours - after not having any food or water for days. But the headline of the Washington Post's story appeared to blame her death on Border Patrol officers.

The headline of their story reads, "7-year-old migrant girl taken into Border Patrol custody dies of dehydration, exhaustion." The Post's story explains that this girl and her father were 2 of 163 migrants who crossed the border illegally and then turned themselves in to border patrol agents back on Dec. 6.

The child began having seizures and then, "emergency responders, who arrived soon after, measured her body temperature at 105.7 degrees."

The story went on to say that CBP said that the little girl had "reportedly had not eaten or consumed water for several days." Despite the fact that this child reportedly did not have food or water for days, WaPo's headline suggests that somehow the border security agents were responsible for her death. (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray that the people who brought this little girl through the process of crossing the border illegally be held responsible for her untimely death because of their mistreatment and lack of care for feeding her and giving her ample water to drink during their travels. Protect the Border Patrol in all of this, as not being held responsible for her death. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Hide them from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded." (Psalm 64:2,7)

6. Tony Perkins: Trump's Signing of 'Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act' Was a Jubilant Moment - CNS News

President Trump signd the "Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act of 2018." The new law will, among other things, fund organizations, including faith-based groups that provide humanitarian aid to genocide survivors from religious and ethnic minorities.

After two years of hard work by religious freedom advocates, it was a jubilant moment to watch as President Trump signed the Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act into law. While the Trump administration has been working to address the needs of those targeted by ISIS's genocidal campaign, this new law will give another boost to relief groups, including faith-based groups.

[Credited for this bill's passage are] President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, U.S. Reps. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) and Anna Eshoo (D-C.A.), USAID Administrator Mark Green, Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback, and all those who have worked to ensure that the United States is the single biggest defender of these persecuted minorities. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we praise You for moving mountains out of the way for the benefit of this Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act being signed by President Trump. The blessings of the Lord be upon all those who worked behind the scenes for this bill's passage. God bless President Trump. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us." (Psalm 62:7-8)

7. US House passes bipartisan bill to prevent use of human shields - Jewish News Syndicate

The House of Representatives passed a bipartisan bill on Monday that would enact sanctions on those who use human shields in war. The Senate unanimously passed its version, co-introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in October. The bill now goes to U.S. President Donald Trump to sign it into law.

Introduced by Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) and Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.), and co-sponsored by 25 representatives, the Sanctioning the Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act, also known as the STOP Using Human Shields Act, officially condemns the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hezbollah's use of human shields "as a gross violation of internationally recognized human rights."

The bill mandates that the president impose sanctions on any entity that "knowingly and materially supports, orders, controls, directs or otherwise engages in" the exercise of human shields by the terrorist organizations Hezbollah and Hamas. Groups such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Christians United for Israel, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and the Endowment for Middle East Truth (EMET) applauded the bill's passage. (Read more)

- Lord God, we applaud the passage of this bill which prevents the use of human shields in war by terrorist groups. Praise the Lord for His mercy and guidance in moving mens' hearts to step in and take this evil and smash it beneath our feet. God bless President Trump. In the Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

- "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the firey darts the wicked." (Ephesians 6:16)

9. Trump Admin. to Slash Support for UN Peacekeeping Missions in Africa - FreeBeacon

The Trump administration plans to significantly cut U.S. support for United Nations peacekeeping missions in Africa as part of a broader strategy that seeks to better promote American interests on the continent, National Security Adviser John Bolton said Thursday.

Speaking at the conservative Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., Bolton criticized "unproductive, unsuccessful, and unaccountable U.N. peacekeeping missions" that often lead to decades of U.N. occupation rather than conflict resolution.

"We will only back effective and efficient operations, and we will seek to streamline, reconfigure, or terminate missions that are unable to meet their own mandate or facilitate lasting peace," Bolton said. "Our objective is to resolve conflicts, not freeze them in perpetuity." (Read more)

- Father God, we pray Your blessings on President Trump and National Security Adviser John Bolton for their participation in stopping any support to the U.N.'s unsuccessful missions program in Africa. We ask in Jesus' Name, amen.

- "Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 6:23)

10. Donald Trump tweets NBC, 'SNL' should be tested by courts after Christmas parody sketch - Fox News

Donald Trump called for courts to test NBC and "Saturday Night Live" in a fiery tweet on Sunday that followed the final airing of the sketch show until the New Year.

"SNL" wrapped up a year of political humor directed at the Trump administration with a parody of the Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life," in which it posited a world wherein Donald Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, was never elected president of the United States.

Trump responded to the sketch on Sunday morning by jabbing both the sketch show and NBC.

Trump tweeted: "A REAL scandal is the one-sided coverage, hour by hour, of networks like NBC & Democrat spin machines like Saturday Night Live. It is all nothing less than unfair news coverage and Dem commercials. Should be tested in courts, can't be legal? Only defame & belittle! Collusion?" (Read more)

See also: "President Trump erupts Sunday on 'REAL scandal'" - WND. Go here.

- Lord God, we agree that this form of "comedy" is, indeed, one that slanders our "king." We ask that measures be taken so that a line be drawn around our freedom of speech, both to protect that right by law, but also to protect potential victims from slander. We ask that a new protocol be raised up NOW for the Fourth Estate, so that no matter who sits in the Oval Office, that man and that office receives the respect it is due. Amen.

- "Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king." (I Peter 2:17)

11. Jon Kyl Announces Plans to Resign From Senate - FreeBeacon

Sen. Jon Kyl (R., Ariz.) on Thursday hand-delivered a letter to Gov. Doug Ducey (R., Ariz.) announcing his intention to resign from the Senate on Dec. 31. Kyl filled the late John McCain's Senate seat in September after he passed away from brain cancer in late August. When Kyl took over the seat, it was understood that he would serve until at least the end of this year or through 2020 when the seat is up for reelection. However, in his letter, dated Dec. 12, he said it was best for a new appointment because the "appointee can begin the new term with all other Senators in January 2019," according to the Arizona Republic.

Ducey, who has been quiet about who he is considering to replace Kyl, praised him for his second stint on Capitol Hill, saying he served with "integrity and statesmanship." Rep. Martha McSally (R., Ariz.), who narrowly lost a 2018 Senate race to Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D., Ariz.), is being floated as a possible appointee, the Republic reports. (Read more)

- Father God, we trust that the state of Arizona will appoint a solid-minded, God-fearing Republican to fill the Senate seat in January. We pray for good leadership for the State of Arizona. In Jesus' Name we pray.

- "Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things. And blessed e His glorious Name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with His glory." (Psalm 72:18-19)

Deliver our souls from deceptive tongues

The leftists in politics are crying out for justice. They say it's the public's right to know about all of President Donald Trump's business dealings. The latest headline is that federal prosecutors are investigating Trump's inauguration committee because they think it took illegal foreign donations for access to the incoming White House. It has been documented that Hillary Clinton sold access for donations to the Clinton Foundation. It also was documented that the immediate past "president" took vast amounts of illegal money from foreign donors. None of this mattered to anyone. In fact, when citizens watchdog Judicial Watch sought the information, Clinton said the public did not have the right to know.

In response to Judicial Watch's investigative bulldogging on Clinton's email illegalities and Benghazi negligence, Bloomberg reported in June 2016 that Clinton's campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said that Judicial Watch "represents everything that is wrong with our political system. Manufacturing wrongdoing has been central to their singular agenda since their inception. Worse, they do this by clogging up the courts at the expense of tens of millions of tax-payer dollars. Justice is the last thing they seek. They are only interested in headlines, and have made a complete mockery of our system. And if you want proof, just look at this latest round of leaks that are contradicted by their own transcripts. It's truly disgraceful."

Let's break this statement down. A spokesman for Hillary Clinton said holding her accountable "represents everything that is wrong with our political system." Clinton also believes that her email scandal and her calloused negligence and lying in the Benghazi catastrophe is the product of Judicial Watch "manufacturing wrongdoing." Clinton blamed Judicial Watch for "clogging up the courts" at tax-payers expense when in reality it has been Clinton's refusal to cooperate with both federal authorities and the public's right to know that has clogged up the courts and cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars. Clinton accused Judicial Watch of making a complete mockery of our system, but her personal attacks and denials are at the center of this mockery. Clinton said justice is the last thing Judicial Watch seeks, when Clinton herself avoided justice.

Fast forward to today when every leftist, every Democrat, every mainstream news media is demanding the public know the very things they upheld Clinton saying the public had no right to know. They accuse Trump and his campaign of everything that they did and are doing and, at the time, held that they should not be accountable for their deeds. Yet Trump should be held accountable. As Christian Americans, we need to be aware of this and weigh it every time we see such headlines. All these politicians should be held accountable. We do have a right to know. Don't be deceived by their words. Psalm 120:2 says, "Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue." And Psalm 31:18 says, "Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous." May it be so.

Have a blessed and powerful day,

AWAY IN A MANGER

"And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 2:7)

Lyrics

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head;
the stars in the heavens looked down where He lay,
the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes,
but little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
and stay by my side until morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask Thee to stay
close by me forever and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care,
and fit us for heaven, to live with Thee there.

Signs and Wonders

It's official: 2018 is DC's wettest year on record

2018 will officially go down as D.C.'s wettest calendar year on record.

The National Weather Service (NWS) announced that Reagan Airport's total observed rainfall for the year had reached 61.34 inches at exactly 6:26 a.m. on Saturday, shattering D.C.'s old record of 61.33 inches set in 1889.

The rain, meanwhile, keeps coming. The end of the previous record's 129-year streak comes during an ongoing, late autumn rainstorm, expected to dump around 2 inches of rain in the capital region before moving out on Sunday.

Flood watches were in effect for the entire WTOP listening area, with a possibility of high standing water in roadways and flooding along small creeks throughout the weekend.

"We're over 61 inches of rain for this year, and we're tacking on maybe another inch or two as we head through this weekend," NBC Washington meteorologist Lauryn Ricketts said. "Rain will continue not only today, but also through the day tomorrow. It could be heavy at times, it could be light at times, but again, we're gonna have a rainy and soggy weekend."

Heroic Dog Saves a Kansas Family after an Enormous House Fire Breaks Out

[Faithwire.com] A dog belonging to a Kansas family has been credited with saving lives after a massive house fire broke out over the weekend. Sarah Potter was asleep early Sunday morning when her pet pooch, Buster, started jumping on her and barking frantically.

"I was napping on the couch and heard him bark," the Hutchinson native told KSNW-TV of her ordeal. Coming around from a deep sleep, Potter was convinced that her dog must be barking at someone arriving at the door. . .

But it was only when she ventured into the rest of the house to investigate that she realized the true reason for Buster's desperate cries. (Read more)

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner.
