- In years past, the government of Japan was not a friend of Israel, but rather assisted her enemies in a variety of ways. Word has reached our office that recently, a man of God led the Prime Minister of Japan in a prayer of repentance for these actions, with the assurance that, in the future, Japan will show kindness towards Israel.
Now, with the quakes that continue to shake that nation, please be in prayer for her safety, and especially for the stability of the Fukushima Nuclear plant. Under these conditions, only a miracle can spare this plant from further damage. Offer praise that Japan's Prime Minister has spoken this word of repentance. Perhaps the LORD will yet show them His hand of mercy. Amen.

90,000 RUSSIAN AND CHINESE TROOPS TO GO TO SYRIA
Will Join Troops from Iran
From DEBKAfile:
Middle East military tensions around Syria shot up again Monday, June 18, with the news reported by the semi-official Iranian news agency Fars that a joint Russian-Chinese-Iranian exercise is to take place in Syria.
It was described as "the biggest of its kind ever staged in the Middle East" with 90,000 personnel, 400 air planes and 900 tanks taking part.
As part of its preparations, Beijing is reported to have asked Egyptian authorities to permit the passage through the Suez Canal in late June of 12 naval ships heading for the Syrian port of Tartus, where Moscow maintains a naval and marine base. debkafile reported earlier this week that Russian naval vessels with marines on board were heading for Tartus. The Iranian media did not itemize their contribution to the joint exercise.
debkafile stresses that this would be the first time that substantial Russian and Chinese military strength has ever been deployed in Syria or anywhere else in the Middle East. It means that the two powers are prepared to parade their unabashed partnership with the Iranian and Syrian armies for the shared purpose of obstructing US-European-Arab military intervention in Syria. A large-scale Russian and Chinese military presence in the embattled country would expect to deter the United States from leading a military operation against Bashar Assad and his regime.
No date was attached to the report but the exercise may possibly take place before the end of the month
The large-scale maneuver was announced in Tehran on the first day of the nuclear crisis talks in Moscow between Iran and the six world powers, their third attempt to resolve the crisis by diplomacy. However, Russian and Iranian sources close to the talks were pessimistic about progress. An Iranian delegation member complained the atmosphere was harsh and unconstructive. A Russian source saw no way of bridging US-led Western differences with Tehran when the parties reconvene Monday.
debkafile also notes that the big joint Russian-Chinese-Iranian exercise "at sea, air and land on Syrian soil," ws released for publication shortly before US President Barack Obama was due to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G-20 summit in Mexico. Read more.
From Joel Rosenberg:
RUSSIA, IRAN, SYRIA, CHINA TO HOLD MASSIVE WAR GAMES IN MIDDLE EAST: ECHOES OF BIBLE PROPHECY?
(Virginia Beach, June 19, 2012) -- "Iran, Russia, China and Syria will hold the Middle East's largest ever war game, Iranian news outlets reported quoting unnamed sources," reports the Jerusalem Post.
"According to the report, 90,000 troops, 400 warplanes and 1,000 tanks from the four countries will take part in land and sea exercises. The war games will feature Russian atomic submarines, according to Iranian media, as well as warships, aircraft carriers and mine-clearing destroyers. Semi-official Iranian FARS news agency stated that the exercise was being planned in coordination with Egypt, which recently acceded to grant the passage of 12 Chinese warships through the Suez Canal. The report stated that the Chinese naval convoy is due to dock in Syrian harbors within the next two weeks. Regarding the timing of the planned exercise, FARS quoted unnamed Syrian officials as saying the war game would be held 'soon'."
The story is particularly intriguing -- and disturbing -- in light of Bible prophecies in Ezekiel 38-39 that indicate a Russian-Iranian military alliance will develop in the "last days" to attack the nation of Israel. It's also curious news coming so close to the upcoming trip by Russian leader Vladimir Putin to Israel on June 25. While it remains too early to know for certain if the "War of Gog and Magog" prophecies are going to be fulfilled in the near future, geopolitical trends in recent years and even in recent months have been curiously consistent with the ancient Biblical text.

- Father, we intercede over this massive troop presence on its way to Syria. You know all things. We pray according to Your will for this region. We pray all is done in Your timing. Protect the U.S. troops, and our allies, who are in the midst of this conflict. We ask special protection for the Nation of Israel in this hour. In Your Name, we ask this prayer, amen.
- "Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle; My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my deliverer; My shield and He in whom I take refuge; Who subdues my people under me." (Psalm 144:1-2)
The Daily Jot
The Psalm 83 war and destruction of Damascus
The Middle East is a hotbed of wars and rumors of wars. The situation in Egypt created with the help of the man who occupies the Oval Office has resulted in the possibility of war between Israel and Egypt. The situation in Syria, also created with the assistance of the White House, has the underpinnings of war written. A ship headed to Syria with Russian attack helicopters and munitions was stopped by Great Britain. The Muslim Brotherhood is the "democratically" elected controllers of Egypt, recently threatening to declare Jerusalem as Egypt's capital. These events have peaked interest in prophecies regarding Damascus and Israel and whether they are being fulfilled before our eyes.
Many are arguing about what some Bible teachers are calling the "Psalm 83" war and the complete annihilation of Damascus as prophesied in Isaiah 17. In addition to prophecies being completely fulfilled throughout history, even today, prophecies also are fulfilled in part as types and shadows that lead YHVH's people to the final fulfillment. For example, many may have thought that the Israeli war of Independence was fulfillment of Bible prophecy because several of the end time nations named in the Bible fought to destroy Israel in 1948. Same in the Six Day war in 1967. But we know now that those battles were types and shadows of these many prophecies, and the end fulfillment is yet to come.
The prophet Daniel was given great insight into the events leading up to the Day of the Lord. An angel of the LORD says in Daniel 12:4, "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Verses 8-10 say, "And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."
As we see events unfold, our knowledge of the meaning of the prophecies increases. We can see clearer what is occurring and about to occur. Certainly, various long held theories on prophecy will be challenged as we gain more understanding. Longstanding teachings may be found lacking. The one way to have understanding of these current times is to read, re-read, study chapters and verses before and after these prophecies and cross reference them with others. A clear warning: Do not take them out of context to justify this teaching or that. We need to love one another as Yeshua has commanded, not attack one another because we don't see the end times the same. As it plays out, we will all see clearly.
Have A Blessed And Powerful Day,
Bill Wilson
FRC Webcast Tonight!
Gov. Huckabee, Reps. Jordan, Fortenberry Join FRC Action for Webcast on Religious Liberty
June 19, 2012
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Family Research Council Action (FRC Action), the legislative advocacy arm of the Family Research Council, will host Governor Mike Huckabee, along with Congressmen Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-Nebraska) for a special video webcast program where Christians from across denominational lines will come together in an event that will mark the beginning of a two week period of nationwide prayer and action in support of religious liberty. This First Freedom is threatened by the Department of Health and Human Services which has approved - for the first time in American history - new federal regulations that would force healthcare plans to cover abortion drugs, contraceptives and sterilizations. Rallies being held across the country and the numerous lawsuits filed against the mandate have sent a message that Christians will not give up this constitutionally guaranteed right.
The program, entitled "Two Weeks for Freedom: Christians Standing Together for Religious Freedom" will be webcast live online today, June 19, 2012 at 8 p.m. EDT, at http://www.frcaction.org/twoweeks.
Thank you for spreading the word about this very important webcast, shown TONIGHT online.
JOY
How do you find God's joy, His "fun," when you feel like life has bludgeoned you in the head and heart? What makes it a pathway for others when we ourselves feel broken?
Discouragement can attack in many ways. The most nasty form is the "You're nothing but a failure and will never amount to anything" lie. That's the one that causes many people, including Christians, to give up and either stop trying or kill themselves from the grief. It's a deadly lie, one that stops destiny in its tracks.
There is a secret to the way we can re-capture His fun and blessing: it's called reminding ourselves of His Hand in our lives. We should also remember that whenever something wonderful happens, the enemy is bound to retaliate quickly. We just have to be aware and set our hearts toward the joyful sounds of Heaven.
NEVER forget that He leads us. Look back on times when you know that you know He was there and that His Divine guidance brought circumstances togther...and hold FAST those moments in your heart. If He will never leave us nor forsake us, if His purpose for us is as good as He promises, then no matter how many lies try to flood your hearts and minds, you will quench them and the joy will flood your soul. That's why it's the "shield of faith" to guard our hearts and the "helmet of salvation" to protect our minds.
We are beloved of God Almighty. We have destiny and purpose. We are not children of darkness, and our life should be filled with joy and blessing, faith and freedom. We should always be excited for the wonderful journey on which we have been privileged to embark. And when we show that joy to others, we become leaders who bring life to those around us. I love being a life-giver, don't you?
Love,
Pastor Faye Higbee

Swedish Court Rules in Favor of Homeschooling Parents; Family Awaits Son's Return
"We encourage Swedish authorities to release Domenic to his parents in light of the court's ruling." -Roger Kiska, ADF
Sweden)-Ever since Swedish authorities removed 10-year-old Domenic Johansson from his homeschooling parents in 2009, family, friends and both the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) and the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) have been working to get him back.
Now it seems their efforts have paid off, as a Swedish district court ruled last week that the "parental rights" of the boy "will not be terminated."
The statement issued by the court said, according to the Charisma News report, that it "could not ignore the unanimous and extensive testimony of firsthand accounts of friends, family and others that Domenic Johansson's parents, Christer and Annie, were properly caring for him prior to Swedish authorities seizing him."
Roger Kiska, of the ADF noted, "The government shouldn't abduct and imprison children simply because it doesn't like home schooling. We encourage Swedish authorities to release Domenic to his parents in light of the court's ruling, and we hope the European Court of Human Rights will reconsider its recent rejection of Domenic's case in light of the Swedish court's determination. This family's human rights have been unimaginably violated." (Source: Charisma News) Read more.
