"First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity." (1 Timothy 2:1,2)

Report Delivered; Vote Set
Some days the news is like drinking out of a firehose. This is one of those days. So I am sending this special morning report, and we will have an update later in the afternoon.
Overnight the FBI report on Judge Kavanaugh was delivered to the White House, and a copy was sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
It is now in a secured room on Capitol Hill where senators can view it one at a time, alternating between parties. No cell phones are permitted in the room. Senators are not allowed to take notes. As of now, it is not being made public, which is the normal process.
As a member of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, I am currently going through an FBI background check. The FBI assures you that the information provided won't be made public precisely because so much of it is personal and they need to get accurate information.
Sadly, I fully expect some left-wing hack will distort the information in short order. It is beyond my imagination to come up with all the things the left could still try to stop this nomination.
Here's what we do know:
The FBI contacted 10 people in the course of this additional background check.
The White House says there is nothing in the report that corroborates Dr. Christine Ford's charges or implicates Judge Kavanaugh in any wrongdoing.
White House spokesman Raj Shah said, "With this additional information, the White House is fully confident the Senate will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court."
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has initiated the process of scheduling votes on the Senate floor. The first vote is expected tomorrow.
As I write this, three GOP senators -- Susan Collins, Jeff Flake and Lisa Murkowski -- have not yet indicated how they will vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation.
But consider this: Since there is no evidence against him, every hour that goes by adds another hour of agony for Judge Kavanaugh and his family. I have yet to hear one word from these senators about how Brett Kavanaugh and his family have been treated throughout this disgraceful process.
TAKE ACTION: Please stop whatever you are doing and take a moment right now to call your senators at 202-224-3121. (You can find additional contact information here.)
Firmly but politely tell your senators that you expect them to vote for Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation. It is particularly important for those of you in Alaska, Arizona and Maine to make these calls.
