Homeland Security Alert

SPECIAL PRAYER FOCUS:

ISIS marks anniversary of caliphate amid Ramadan calls for violence
Islamic State is marking its first year as a self-proclaimed caliphate by calling on sympathizers around the world to take up arms and commit acts of terror.

It was on June 29, 2014 that the terrorist army then known as ISIS announced it had established a government run by a medieval version of strict Islam in territory that spanned northern Syria and Iraq.

Since then, the group has metastasized throughout the region, recruiting locals and foreign fighters alike and blazing a trail of death and misery. With the beginning of Ramadan on June 17, the terrorist organization has issued a call for stepped up attacks in the Middle East and around the world.

"The ISIS' Ramadan message specifically preaches that jihad is 10 times more obligatory during Ramadan and that those who die in jihad will be rewarded by Allah ten times as much as during the rest of the year," said Ryan Mauro, national security analyst and adjunct professor of Homeland Security for the Clarion Project.

"There will be ISIS supporters who have waited to strike until now in order to get the maximum award and those who were considering an attack and will now feel more pressure to actually do it." (Fox News) Read more.

Listed below are this week's headlines related to this increased terror alert. For each one, we decree:

"For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered." (Psalm 92:9)

1. US Officials Warn of ISIS Attacks on July 4 - Jewish Press

American police forces from coast to coast are on alert from federal officials that the Islamic State (ISIS) is planning to terrorize the country during the July 4 Independence Day holiday.

Homeland Security, the FBI and the National Counterterrorism Center sent an intelligence bulletin to law enforcement agencies.

No specific plots were spelled out, according to CNN, but there was a general warning because of the holiday and the upcoming visit of Pope Francis. (Read more)

- Forgive us, Lord, as country for pushing back your hand of protection in the past. Hear our cry to deliver us from the plans of wicked pagans who seek to harm us to please their god. We pray our officials and citizens will be vigilant and that all planned attacks will fail before they can even be put in place. Praise You, Father, for how You have preserved us in the past by Your mighty hand.

- "How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world." (Psalms 31:19)

2. Massive airlift to bring home 20,000 British tourists in Tunisia - Daily Mail UK

Counsellors are flown out to comfort relatives of the dead

Thousands of terrified families were flown home from Tunisia yesterday in one of the biggest airlifts ever organised by British tour companies.

Wave after wave of empty aircraft were dispatched from the UK in response to pleas by British visitors traumatised by the beach massacre on Friday and desperate to return home to worried loved ones.

Fleets of coaches, some escorted by armed police, ferried them from their hotels to airports in the Sousse region. Departure lounges became so crowded that hundreds of people had to wait outside for their free flights to safety. (Read more)

3. Florida: Imam who trained jihadist sentenced to time served, released - Orlando Sentinel

A federal judge Friday morning sentenced Marcus Robertson to time served and ordered his release, saying his time in jail was sufficient for both convictions of tax fraud and weapons charges. Robertson, also known as Abu Taubah, was accused of teaching another man how to participate in jihad missions overseas. (Read more)

4. Ramadan arson: Six churches burn down within seven days from Georgia to Ohio in suspected arson - The Muslim Issue

A string of black churches have been ravaged by fire in the past week, in what could potentially be a string of racially-motivated arson attacks. Places of worship in Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio were ravaged by flames this week.

Authorities have confirmed that three of the attacks were arson, while investigations are still underway for the remaining two. The attacks come as national attention centers on racial divisions in the wake of the church massacre in Charleston, South Carolina, where nine people were gunned down by Dylann Roof. (Read more)

6. Liars and Lunatics - Understanding the Threat

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

In the wake of the jihadi attacks last week in France, Kuwait, and Tunisia, the reality of the Islamic threat is as clear as it could possibly be, yet our enemies continue to use the same tactics and the leadership in the West regurgitates the obvious lies fed to them. Western leaders continue to delude themselves and their nations about the darkness sweeping over the planet leaving bodies, human decency, liberty, and reasonable thought in its wake. 7. Pray! July 4 Alert-Police Targeted! - USA Today

Significantly, a recent FBI/ Homeland Security bulletin warning of potential July 4 attacks cited ISIS-inspired plots against police.

"Federal authorities have warned local law enforcement officials across the country about a heightened concern involving possible terror attacks targeting the July 4th holiday, a U.S. law enforcement official said. The bulletins are frequently issued in advance of major U.S. holidays out of an abundance of caution and concern that operatives may exploit the timing to generate greater attention. The warning comes as federal investigators have worked to disrupt a number of Islamic State-inspired plots, including a planned assault earlier this month on police officers in Boston" (USA Today).

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10)

1. PA's Abbas gives Hamas Tuesday deadline to join unity government -Jerusalem Post

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Sunday that Hamas has until Tuesday to join a new unity government. Abbas's ultimatum came during an interview with the Saudi TV network Al-Arabiya.

In order to join the government, Hamas and other Palestinian factions would have to accept the PLO's political program, he said. Hamas and the PA have been holding consultations over the possibility of forming a new unity government. (Read more)

2. Seeing few gaps, upbeat New Zealand to push for Israeli-Palestinian talks- Times of Israel

New Zealand will use its leadership role in the United Nations Security Council to push for direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians in the coming months, Wellington's top diplomat said in an interview published Sunday.

Foreign Minister Murray McCully said New Zealand was cognizant of Jerusalem's jitters regarding efforts by the Security Council to impose conditions on Israel, and his country would not push in that direction when it takes up the Security Council presidency later this week. (Read more)

3. Israel acknowledges it is helping Syrian rebel fighters - Times of Israel

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Monday that Israel has been providing aid to Syrian rebels, thus keeping the Druze in Syria out of immediate danger. Israeli officials have previously balked at confirming on the record that the country has been helping forces that are fighting to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad.

During a briefing with Israel's diplomatic correspondents at the IDF's headquarters in Tel Aviv, Ya'alon said that Israel's ongoing humanitarian assistance to Syrian rebel fighters, a source of growing conflict between Israel and its own Druze population, safeguards the minority population in Syria. 4. Struggling to reach coalition majority, Netanyahu delays gas vote - Jerusalem Online

Just hours before the Knesset's scheduled vote on the implementation of the controversial natural gas deal on Monday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to postpone the crucial vote to 2 a.m., possibly fearing he will fail to recruit a majority of votes in favor of the deal by the time originally scheduled for it to take place.

Earlier on Monday, MK Avigdor Lieberman of Yisrael Beiteinu announced he will vote against the deal even though he supports it, saying he opposes the hasty manner in which the government seeks to pass the vote by overriding the Antitrust Authority. He called on the government to take responsibility for its own actions, refusing to serve as "the coalition's babysitter," as he put it. (Read more)

5. Israel approves extending fortified fence on its Jordan border - YNET News

Jordan and Israel closely coordinate security for their 240 km (150 mile)-long border as well as for the strategic 95 km (60 mile)-long Jordan Valley within the West Bank.

But the Netanyahu government worries that African immigrants and armed jihadi infiltrators might try to reach Israel via Jordan after the Egyptian Sinai border was fenced off with a 5 meter (16 foot)-high razor-wire barrier in 2013.

That fence runs from the Palestinian Gaza Strip to the southern Red Sea resort of Eilat. (Read more)

6. Take the offensive against anti-Israel academics, top think tank urges - Times of Israel

A major Jewish think tank of Sunday urged the denunciation of American college faculty who demonize Israel, cautioned against support for right-wing parties in Europe, and stressed the imperative for Israel to nurture key bilateral partnerships, notably with the US, India and China.

Leading with a section on the exigency of battling the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, the report released by the Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) also covered subjects ranging from the rising trend of assimilation among secular Diaspora Jewry to the growing anti-Semitism on college campuses. It also presented an emergency plan for French Jewish immigration to Israel. (Read more)

- Father God, we offer up a chorus of praise for this stand now being taken by the JPPI, as noted in this article. We pray that many academic institutions would sit up, take note, be set free from the shackles of anti-semitism, and reject the BDS movement, with full force. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, amen.

The Daily Brief

1. Obama says US could 'walk away' from Iran nuclear talks, as deadline extended - Fox News

President Obama threatened to "walk away" from a nuclear deal with Iran if it fails to keep tabs on the country's compliance, as the negotiations were extended past their original Tuesday deadline amid sharp disagreements.

The president addressed the shaky talks during a joint press conference in Washington, alongside visiting Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. He spoke shortly after the State Department confirmed that the Iran talks were being extended another week.

"My hope is they can achieve an agreement," Obama said. But he added that, "I've said from the start, I will walk away from the negotiations if in fact it's a bad deal."

And he pointed specifically to a persistent disagreement over inspections of nuclear sites. Without those inspections and assurances that a path to a nuclear weapon is closed off, Obama said, "Then we're not going to get a deal." (Read more)

- Lord, man makes his own plans, but it takes You to bring them to fruition. We pray for wisdom for our leaders in spite of this negative assessment of the situation. We know You can turn a situation around in a day, and we call on You to do that in these negotiations. In the strong name of Jesus, we declare that Iran shall never achieve the goal of nuclear weapons to harm Israel or the US.

- "But the noble man devises noble plans; and by noble plans he stands." (Isaiah 32:8)

2. Did Supreme Court make Obamacare unconstitutional? - WND

Despite what you may have thought, the battle over the legality of Obamacare is far from over. In fact, a strong case is now emerging using the Supreme Court's own words to have the entire law shredded.

Just as the supporters of Obamacare - the IRS, the vast legions of regulatory agency administrators, the health-care industry and politicians - are crowing over another Supreme Court victory, another case is looming that could kill the law entirely. By using the words of the Supreme Court itself.

Now, a case brought by the Pacific Legal Foundation is using the court's own terminology to argue Obamacare is constitutionally invalid. The issue is simple: When the Senate adopted its own bill, installed it inside the shell of a separate and unrelated House bill, called it the Affordable Care Act and passed it, it created a long list of "fees" and "penalties" for Americans to pay. But the John Roberts-led Supreme Court, recognizing the Constitution doesn't allow the government to force people to buy consumer products, turned the "fees" and "penalties" into "taxes." However, the Constitution requires all tax measures be initiated in the House, not the Senate. (Read more)

- Lord, we thank You for all efforts to shred the legality of Obamacare. We pray this law will once and for all be recognized as invalid. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, amen.

- "Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people." (Psalm 3:8)

3. BREAKING: The Obama Administration Just Lost A BIG One At The Supreme Court - WND

After handing President Obama a couple of huge wins last week with respect to Obamacare and same-sex marriage, the Supreme Court has just delivered a big blow to the administration's environmental agenda that threatened to cripple the energy industry.

In a 5-4 decision, the high court has ruled against Obama's EPA in its effort to impose wildly expensive new rules on power plants. The Washington Examiner explains what the newly enacted rules by the Environmental Protection Agency were intended to do. (Read more here)

- Lord, thank You for this victory and protection for the power plants regarding this administration's environmental agenda. Keep us on guard against all laws that are embedded with taxes and rules that would harm us.

- "Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)

4. Texas AG: State workers can deny marriage licenses to gay couples - POLITICO

Supreme Court did not abolish religious liberty

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Sunday stated that county clerks, judges and justices of peace can deny marriage licenses to same-sex couples for religious reasons, arguing that the Supreme Court did not abolish religious liberty. Ken Paxton, in his nonbinding legal opinion, went on to add that "numerous lawyers" would be made available to defend public officials refusing to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples, according to The Associated Press. "This newly minted federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage can and should peaceably co-exist with longstanding constitutional and statutory rights, including the rights to free exercise of religion and freedom of speech," Paxton's opinion states. Republican Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick later requested to review the document. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for the example that the State of Texas is demonstrating for all the other states in our nation over the issue of coming against homosexual marriage and upholding traditional marriage -- and our own freedom of religion. We ask that this clarity be demonstrated, as well, in all of the other states in our land. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2:6)

5. Conservatives Push First Amendment Defense Act in Wake of Same-Sex Marriage Ruling - Breitbart

Even before the Supreme Court delivered a historic victory for gay rights, conservatives on Capitol Hill had begun readying themselves to protect those with the opposite mindset: Americans who believe marriage is between a man and a woman.

Last week, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Rep. Raul Labrador (R-ID) introduced legislation that would bar the federal government from discriminating against opponents of same-sex marriage. The bill, called the First Amendment Defense Act would mean the federal government couldn't prevent individuals, businesses, or associations from receiving grants, contracts, licenses, tax exemptions, certifications, and more.

"Our bill shields against federal intrusion without taking anything away from anyone," Labrador, an Idaho Republican, said. "In a shifting landscape, it's time that Congress proactively defend this sacred right."(Read more)

> > > See also, more information about the status of this bill in the National Journal by going here.

- Thank You, Precious Lord, for forward-looking men in Congress who would begin the process to introduce legislation to preserve religious liberty in case it was trampled upon. We seek Your protection over this bill as it moves forward so that the intent of our Founding Fathers would be preserved for us and our descendants. Forgive us for having judges that have dishonored You and Your laws. We bind up all attacks on our First Amendment. In the name of Jesus Christ, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it." (Ecclesiastes 7:12)

6. A North Dakota Oil Boom Goes Bust - Yahoo

In a field of brittle yellow grass and clotted mud about five miles north of Dickinson, North Dakota, stands a cemetery of sorts. Drilling rigs stretch into the sky like tall skeletons. The occasional lone truck rattles along a dirt road. Otherwise, the location is deserted.

Similar graveyards have been popping up across the western half of the state since the price of oil sharply declined last fall. These once-great moneymakers that drew thousands to the state are now idle, or "stacked," in the lingo of the oil fields. As more and more companies have stopped drilling following the decline in the price of oil last year, the term has become all too familiar. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, once again, a report bringing hope for economic recovery has been shattered in our nation. We know that judgment for our sinful values and morality are well deserved but it is difficult to watch promises be destroyed over and over again. Father, we ask that You lift us up and lead us where You would have us go so that Your plans and will are followed. We pray this in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

7. Anti-austerity protests in Greece as bank shutdown bites - Reuters

Tens of thousands of Greeks rallied on Monday to back their leftwing government's rejection of a tough international bailout after a clash with foreign lenders pushed Greece close to financial chaos and forced a shutdown of its banking system.

With a popular referendum on the bailout planned for Sunday, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras put his own position on the line, saying he would respect the result of the vote but would not lead a government to administer "austerity in perpetuity."

"If the Greek people want to have a humiliated prime minister, there are a lot of them out there. It won't be me," he said in an interview on Greek state television as one of the biggest rallies seen in Athens in years was taking place. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, we lift up our concerns for the people of Greece in their crisis and pray that their leaders will find a solution that will not be hard for their citizens to bear. We pray that their creditors will be able to devise a way for the debt to be repaid and that the government and citizens will alter those policies that caused this crisis in the first place. We speak the peace of God over the nation of Greece, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days." (Proverbs 19:20)

8. Vatican Signs Treaty with "State of Palestine" - Fox News

VATICAN CITY - The Vatican has signed a treaty with the "State of Palestine" and said it hopes the official recognition will help stimulate peace with Israel.

Vatican Foreign Minister Paul Gallagher and his Palestinian counterpart, Riad al-Malki, signed the treaty at a ceremony Friday in the Vatican.

Israel had expressed its disappointment when the Vatican announced last month that it had reached final agreement with the "State of Palestine" on the treaty regulating the life of the Catholic Church in the Palestinian territories.

Gallagher said he hoped the Vatican's recognition "may in some way be a stimulus to bringing a definitive end to the long-standing Israeli-Palestinian conflict." He added the treaty could be a model for other Mideast countries.

It marks the first legal recognition by the Vatican of the Palestinian state. (Read more)

- Lord God, when we read this news, we must pause and catch our breath. This statement by the Vatican is surely another sign of Your soon coming. What an illegal action this Pope has taken! Palestine is not yet (nor will it ever be) a sovereign nation, so this declaration by the Vatican and the treaty that goes with it are null and void. We decree God's law over man's law, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work . . ." (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

9. Vatican: Holy Land Two-State Solution 'As Soon as Possible' - Breitbart

Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Vatican Secretary for Relations with States, who signed the document on behalf of the Holy See, called it a "milestone" in bilateral relations. He expressed his hope that the agreement might constitute "an incentive to put a definitive end to the long Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which continues to cause suffering to both sides."

Gallagher also said he hoped that "the desired two-state solution" might become a reality "as soon as possible." The peace process, he suggested, "can progress only through direct negotiations between the parties with the support of the international community," and demands "courageous decisions" if it is to bring about peace and stability in the region.

The agreement comprises a preamble and 32 articles in 8 chapters and will enter into force once both parties have notified in writing that all internal or constitutional requirements have been satisfied. (Read more)

- O, Abba, woe . . . we cry woe to those who are carrying out these wicked devices against Israel -- the land of Your chosen people. We see Scripture being fulfilled by this action, and we weep for the land of Your beloved. We do this in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."(Revelation 8:1)

10. Star of Bethlehem? Jupiter and Venus converge for the first time in 2000 years - Christian Science Monitor

Jupiter and Venus will merge into a dazzling "super-star" in the Western horizon by the end of June, NASA says. The conjunction of the two planets has been building during the month of June and will culminate in a spectacular display on June 30. "Every night in June, the separation between Venus and Jupiter will visibly shrink," says NASA. A conjunction is when two or more objects appear very close together on the sky.

On the evening of June 30, Venus and Jupiter will appear in the sky just a third of a degree apart. "That's less than the diameter of a full Moon. You'll be able to hide the pair not just behind the palm of your outstretched hand, but behind your little pinky finger," NASA enthuses.

Sky & Telescope suggests that a similar rare conjunction of Venus and Jupiter may have been what's been called the "Star of Bethlehem" in 3-2 BC. There has not been a brighter, closer planetary conjunction in the 2,000 years since. (Read more)

> > > For more insight on this topic, please see this Special Report from Hebrew Nation News.

- Father, we praise You for the marvel of the heavens, and for this spectacular conjunction of Jupiter and Venus! We thank You that this is the first time since the birth of our Savior that this sign shall appear in the night. We worship You and praise You for your creation. You are an awesome God! We say: "Behold, Your King!" In the name of Jesus Christ, we offer this prayer, amen.

- "Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also." (Genesis 1:16)

Supreme Consequences: LA Times Vilifies Christians

The ink was hardly dry on the Supreme Court's rewrite of US marriage laws when the LA Times wrote a story not so subtly characterizing Bible-believing Christians as racists, murderers, bigots, and ignorant. The story, "Mississippi in limbo over high-court's same sex marriage ruling," began by pointing out that a very elated Mississippi same sex couple got "married" after the court's decision, while another same sex couple minutes later was refused a license to "marry." Mississippi's Attorney General Jim Hood stopped same sex marriages until the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals approves same sex marriage in the state. Then the LA Times began its anti-Christian tirade.

The build up went like this: "...as Mississippi, long at the heart of America's most divisive issues, from slavery to school integration, once again dug in its heels against the winds of change...shows that even a ruling by the nation's highest court cannot force immediate change where opposition is so deeply entrenched...To understand Mississippi's resistance to gay marriage, it helps to look at its legacy as a deeply religious and conservative state. This is where three civil rights workers were killed by the Ku Klux Klan in the 1960s; where James Meredith became the first black student to enroll in Ole Miss, but only after a violent confrontation; and where the Confederate symbol is still part of the official state flag."

The story went on to say, "It is where 59% of residents described themselves as "very religious" in a 2014 Gallup Poll, higher than any other state, and where 86% of voters in 2004 approved a ban on same-sex marriage." Then it quoted spokespersons from American Family Radio and the American Family Association explaining why Christians believe what they believe, and painted what they said as ignorant and inflammatory. Then the story quoted people from the streets in Tupelo speaking against same sex marriage, implying that "those attitudes" led to a homosexual being "run down by a car while walking home" in September 2011.

Then the story quoted a tolerant pastor who, after marrying a same sex couple, said, "We live in the Bible Belt. People here believe that homosexuality is a sin...There's racial supremacy and religious supremacy." A pastor said this! This is why the consequences of the Supreme Court decision will have the most severe ramifications on Christians. 1 Peter 4:17 says, "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" Making same sex marriage legal doesn't make it moral. The standard, the word of God, never changes. Yet much of the church turns a blind eye to truth. This particular Supreme Court decision, just as the one legalizing abortion, is a test for Christianity in this country. We all will be held accountable by our response.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Two Initiatives Launched to BLOCK SCOTUS Ruling

Two Initiatives Launched to BLOCK SCOTUS Ruling on Same-Sex Marriage

1. Alabama State Supreme Court issues 25-Day optional delay on same-sex marriage licenses - Christian Examiner

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (Christian Examiner) -- The Alabama State Supreme Court issued an order Monday inviting parties in a state case involving gay marriage and the Alabama Policy Institute to submit motions or briefs by July 6 addressing the impact on their case of last week's United States Supreme Court's Obergefell v. Hodges decision which legalized same-sex marriage in all 50 states.

Initially interpreted as an order to prevent Alabama state officials from issuing same-sex marriage licenses, Chief Justice Roy Moore later clarified the order saying that clerks and judges could but were not required to accommodate same-sex marriages in the state during the 25-day period.

The Alabama Supreme Court issued the order based on the fact that federal Supreme Court decisions do not become law until after a 25-day waiting period in which parties to the case can petition the court for a re-hearing of the case.

Although a re-hearing of Obergefell v. Hodges is unlikely, Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore stated that during that 25-day period, the U.S. Supreme Court order is not in effect.

Alabama state law only allows for marriage between one man and one woman.

2. Lawmaker: Congress can halt same-sex 'marriage' in tracks - WND

A state lawmaker with expertise in constitutional issues says there's a strategy that would allow Congress to halt the legalization of same-sex "marriage" by the U.S. Supreme Court in its tracks.

The court's 5-4 ruling Friday abolished all state laws limiting marriage to one man and one woman.

But Virginia Delegate Robert G. Marshall contends Congress "can immediately take action on a strategy to block the Obama administration's implementation of the court's decision through the use of riders to appropriations bills which will come before Congress this summer and fall."

"Suggested by James Madison, both liberals and conservatives have successfully used this strategy to change public policy over the past 50 years," he wrote. "This approach is constitutional. It can be set in motion within days, if not on the very day of a Supreme Court decision. And, if pursued by defenders of real marriage, this approach will require every 2016 congressional and presidential candidate to take a position on marriage."
He said Congress can use its power of the purse, if it chooses.

"Does Congress have this power? Yes! The Constitution provides, that, 'No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law . . ."Art. 1, Sect. 9."

It was James Madison, Marshall said, who explained, "This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect every just and salutary measure." - Father God, we see that, in the Book of Daniel, when Daniel was in desperate need of a rescue, he cried out to You . . . and You answered. Lord God, it took 21 DAYS, but in the end, the Archangel Michael was able to break through the demonic resistance, and to appear in answer to Daniel's prayer.

Abba Father God, today we are as Daniel, helpless before the court of man but appealing to You in the Court of Heaven. Come, Lord Jesus, we pray on bended knee, and rescue Your people from this wicked decree. Come Lord, we pray, in Jesus' name, amen and amen.
- "Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them." (Daniel 10:12)
> > > A message from CHPP: Just as Daniel entered into a time of 21 days of fasting and prayer, until his answer came, we encourage our prayer partners to prayerfuly consider doing the same. The hour is desperate, but God is with us, and He does not change. Let this be done according to His will, in Jesus Christ's name, amen and amen.

International Day of Repentance

Announcing!

The International Day of Repentance

Sunday, July 5th, 2015

Welcome to the International Day of Repentance

God is not mocked. If authorities in any nation go against His Word, how can that nation be blessed? Psalm 33:12 declares a blessing on a nation only when that nation's God is the LORD. Instead of a blessing that nation now faces a curse. God's Word brings the light of His wisdom that first comes from above to direct the nations authorities in Governments and the people to receive the blessings God has stored up for them. When nations turn away from the truth of God's Word our Heavenly Father remains patient and merciful; always willing to forgive and embrace and uplift nations that are willing to "REPENT" from their sins and turn back to the LORD in righteous living according to scripture.[Proverbs 14:34]

Many nations today have turned away from the LORD in rebellion and in disobedience rejecting God, His Word; His Wisdom and the Holy Spirit; by denying biblical Israel, and the City of Jerusalem as the Capital of the nation of Israel, Righteous Judgment is surely at the door against these proud nations and their governments; unless a true repentance acceptable to the LORD Himself; just like it was with Jonah the prophet and Nineveh City when judgment was at their door; humility and repentance was the answer to receive God's mercy and forgiveness of that pending Righteous Judgment.[Jonah 3:3-7 ] [Jonah 4:11]

We are called this day to acknowledge and repent of those iniquities; those sins that are displeasing to God for our own nations; just as Nehemiah also stood in the gap for His Nation acknowledging the sin of the forefather as his own sin for the walls were broken down. "The Five Trigger Repentance Points" are given; please pray about each point before the LORD as the Holy Spirit leads;acknowledge and repent of those sins while standing in the gap for your nation in all humility calling on the name of the LORD in the power of the Holy Spirit just as you have prepared yourself in fellowship with Him. If you have not been able to do so; please read the PERSONAL PREPARATION Email 1 on "grieving the Holy Spirit" and be encouraged in the LORD before you proceed in your repentance.

The trigger points are not set as the boundary of the repentance as the Holy Spirit may lead nations differently and individuals, churches, ministries and groups in new areas requiring repentance, so those things displeasing to God will vary nation by nation and then brought to the light by the Holy Spirit and covered by the intercessors with the righteousness of God covered by the blood of Jesus in true repentance, thus averting judgment in the mercies and goodness of God in Yeshua HaMashiach [Jesus the Messiah]. - [Psalm 136]

Much controversy in the nations today exists over Jerusalem; Gods Holy City, righteous judgement is promised by God to those that willfully divide the land of Israel and the City of Jerusalem; repentance or righteous judgment is the choice that is before the nations of the earth.Let us then be obedient unto repentance and fulfill Holy Scripture for the land of Israel and the Royal city of Jerusalem and accept God's will and purposes for the Jews and the land of Israel.

[Read and meditate on Psalm 122 ]

The Persian World: how I see Him

Since the rise of the Ayatollah's Islamic Republic in 1979, the nearly 100 million Shi'ite Muslims of Iran have been identified to the West as members of the "axis of evil" in our world. But there is another story unfolding in the Persian Room in the House of Islam, a story of redemption and rebirth.

Since the Ayatollah's rise to power, hundreds of thousands of Iranian refugees have fled to other countries around the world. Everywhere they have gone, new house churches of Iranian Muslim-background followers of Jesus Christ have taken root. Over the past two decades, God has used what man intended for evil to bring about His good. Economic collapse, rampant drug addiction, ruinous wars with Iraq and the West, coupled with the bold witness of believers have drawn thousands of Iranians to faith in Jesus Christ.
Nadia and her family fled from Iran two years ago and were warmly welcomed by the Christian community in their new home country. She and her husband attended a Christian marriage weekend for Iranian-background immigrants designed to help Muslimbackground couples re-establish their marriages on Christian principles, and move towards a Christian understanding of love between a husband and wife.
One of the exercises was for a husband to express his love to his wife. Nadia's husband volunteered. He took Nadia by the hand and in front of the whole group he told her boldly, 'Nadia, I love you,' and then kissed her publicly. Nadia recalls the event and blushes: "That was the first time in our marriage that my husband told me that he loved me."
Shortly afterwards, Nadia's husband died unexpectedly. When asked how she could cope with so much pain and loss, she replied, "It was Jesus' promise," she said, "'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' Jesus has carried me. Jesus has given me an unnatural peace."
How can we pray?

Pray that Iran's leaders do not lead the millions of people in their country to utter destruction.

Pray for the thousands of Persians coming to faith in Christ, that they would grow deep and wide in Christ.

Pray that Christians in the West would replace hate and fear of Iran with love and compassion.

A Verse to Decree:

"'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Our Grandmothers' Songs

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

BE THOU MY VISION

"When a prophet of the Lord is among you, I reveal Myself to him in visions, I speak to him in dreams." (Numbers 12:6)

Lyrics:

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul's Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Report: NASA cuts live feed as UFOs fly past Earth

Mysterious footage said to depict three UFOs racing by Planet Earth is causing an out-of-this-world discussion on YouTube, as some people think it's proof-positive of alien life.

The 4-minute long video titled "UFO Mysteries: UFOs, Angels Or Biological Creatures Seen Leaving The Earth?" was uploaded a week ago and has more than 214,000 views.

The video, reportedly shot from the International Space Station, shows three unidentified flying objects shooting upward out of Earth's atmosphere.

Just when the lights appear to blast off the planet, the video feed is cut by NASA, with a message subsequently displayed on screen stating: "Please stand by. The High Definition Earth Viewing experiment is either switching cameras, or we are experiencing a s temporary loss of signal with the International Space Station." (WND) Read more

Bible Study Resumes at Charleston AME Church One Week After Massacre: Unconditional Love Reigns

(Charleston, NC)-One week after a racially-motivated attack at Charleston's Mother Emanuel AME Church left nine worshipers dead, almost 200 people gathered in the same basement room where the massacre took place to resume the weekly Bible study.

"This territory belongs to God," Interim Pastor Norvel Goff Sr. told the crowd gathered in the basement after a string trio played religious hymns, including "Be Thou My Vision," The New York Daily News reports.

"Last week," Goff recalled, "dark powers came over Mother Emanuel. But, that's alright. God in his infinite wisdom said 'that's alright. I've got the nine.'"

During the service, titled "The Power of Love," Rev. Goff also urged the audience to not allow hate in their heart, "not because we are weak, but because we are strong."

"What kind of love is it that God has for us?" he asked the crowd. They called back: "Unconditional!"

The families of the victims and the Emanuel AME community have extended this kind of love to 21-year-old Dylann Roof, who sat through the class for an hour with worshipers before declaring he was there "to kill black people" and opening fire. (The Gospel Herald) Read more here.

Whom Shall I Fear [God of Angel Armies]

Chris Tomlin

You hear me when I call
You are my morning song
Though darkness fills the night
It cannot hide the light

Whom shall I fear
You crush the enemy
Underneath my feet
You are my sword and shield
Though troubles linger still
Whom shall I fear

REFRAIN:

I know who goes before me
I know who stands behind
The God of angel armies
Is always by my side
The one who reigns forever
He is a friend of mine
The God of angel armies
Is always by my side

Whom shall I fear
You crush the enemy Underneath my feet
You are my sword and shield
Though troubles linger still
Whom shall I fear

(Refrain)
