Jamestown: The Assembly 2007

JAMESTOWN: THE ASSEMBLY 2007

On April 29, 1607, the Christian colonists, who formed Jamestown, landed in Virginia Beach and planted a cross to dedicate the new world to God-creating a covenant that has blessed all Americans. As a part of The Assembly 2007 Executive Committee and as Executive Director for the International Center for Spiritual Renewal, I will be joining event coordinators John and Robin Blanchard along with host Bishop John and Pastor Anne Gimenez in a unique opportunity to rededicate America to God at The Assembly 2007 on April 29. This national call to prayer is centered on the 400-year anniversary of the planting of the cross and prayer of dedication by Robert Hunt, the chaplain of Jamestown. A special Consecration Conference, to be held April 26-28, will be included in this unique time for restoring favor and victory to the nation.

The Dedication Sunday, April 29, at 20th Street on the Oceanfront is free and open to the public. We invite you to be a part of history by standing in prayer with thousands of Christians and renewing our covenant by rededicating America to God.
