1. Trump calling for peace summit with Arab leaders only, Israeli report says - World Israel News

The Trump administration has announced it will hold a Middle East conference with Arab leaders at Camp David to outline his peace plan ahead of Israel's September elections, the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot reported on Wednesday.

The paper says that the idea for the conference was developed in consultation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel's U.S. Ambassador Ron Dermer. Netanyahu will not attend, however, to make it easier for Arab leaders to participate, Yediot reports.

The Israeli daily presented the conference as an attempt to boost Netanyahu's electoral chances. "The conference, if it will take place, will help Netanyahu's election campaign by setting him up as a global leader, who even Arab states acknowledge. This is likely to soften the refusal of Blue and White, perhaps even the Labor party, to join his government after the elections," the paper reports.

2. Netanyahu cabinet approves Palestinian housing in Judea and Samaria - World Israel News

Israel's Security Cabinet has approved 700 housing units for Palestinians in Area C of Judea and Samaria, according to media reports. Rumors of the decision were first reported on Monday.

Area C consists of a large undeveloped territory which remains contentious as Israel and the Palestinians lay claim to it.

While Israel maintains control and some 400,000 Israelis live in the area, Palestinians have been building tens of thousands of illegal buildings and constructing roads in Area C in an attempt to create a de facto state. Regavim, an NGO focused on land issues, has been beating the drums on the issue for some time, taking Israel's government to task for not enforcing sovereignty in the region and stopping the Palestinian land grab. It released a statement on Monday condemning the plan to build Palestinian apartment units, saying it plays into the hands of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

However, right-wing members of the government, such as Transportation Minister Bezalel Smotrich (National Union), who co-founded Regavim, voiced approval of the construction plan.

3. Ambassador Friedman: We Prefer Palestinian Autonomy over State - Jewish Press

United States Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, who is part of the US peace plan negotiating team, on Tuesday night told CNN's Christiane Amanpour that he believes in giving an autonomy to Palestinians, not a state.

Ambassador Friedman said that the limits of the Palestinian autonomy would be defined by the security needs of the State of Israel.

"We believe in Palestinian autonomy," he said, "We believe in Palestinian self-governance. We believe that the autonomy should be extended up until the point where it interferes with Israeli security."

4. Jewish Home party approves unity deal with New Right - Israel National News

The Jewish Home party's central committee met Wednesday evening in Petah Tikvah and approved the union with the National Union and New Right parties ahead of the upcoming elections.

At the beginning of the discussion, Rabbi Haim Druckman delivered remarks, which repeatedly attracted comments from the audience.

"There will be no mistakes, Rabbi Rafi Peretz continues to lead religious Zionism. We are only connected in a technical bloc. After the elections we will be separate. You can shout here at the party's central committee, but the most difficult and important thing is to bring votes," Rabbi Druckman said.

5. Israeli Company Announces Successful Trial of Radiation Vaccine - Algemeiner

An Israeli company announced on Wednesday that it had developed a highly-effective vaccine against radiation poisoning.

The Israeli news site Mako reported that the Haifa-based company Pluristem Therapeutics made the announcement together with the US Department of Defense.

The company said that the vaccine showed extremely-improved survival rates among animals subjected to high levels of radiation.

Use of the vaccine increased survival rates by 74 percent, the company stated, compared to only four percent in the control group.

1. Fed Cuts Interest Rates for First Time Since 2008 - Breitbart

The Federal Reserve on Wednesday cut its benchmark interest rate for the first time since 2008, moving in a direction urged by President Donald Trump for over a year. "the Committee decided to lower the target range for the federal funds rate to 2 to 2-1/4 percent," the Fed said in a statement released at the conclusion of its two day meeting.

Fed officials have said they are worried that sluggish global growth and trade tensions are holding back business investment. They are also worried that inflationary pressures have become weaker this year despite very low unemployment. Inflation has not hit the Fed's target of 2 percent on an annual basis since 2012. Although there are many signs that the U.S. economy remains strong, economic growth has fallen this year. Unemployment is very low but it is often a lagging indicator, remaining low until after the economy has sunk into a recession. Fed officials may want to cut rates to pre-empt a more serious downturn that would require deeper cuts to their interest rate target. (Read more)

2. Schumer Calls for Amending First Amendment to Limit Political Speech - CNS News

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D.-N.Y. stood in front of the Supreme Court on Tuesday, along with Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin, D.-Ill., to announce he is backing Democratic New Mexico Sen. Tom Udall's proposal to amend the First Amendment.

"Overturning Citizens United," Schumer said, "is probably more important than any other single thing we could do to preserve this great and grand democracy." Anthony Kennedy wrote the court's opinion in Citizens United. "The court has recognized that First Amendment protection extends to corporations," Kennedy wrote. "If the First Amendment has any force, it prohibits Congress from fining or jailing citizens, or associations of citizens, for simply engaging in political speech," he said.

"When government seeks to use its full power, including the criminal law, to command where a person may get his or her information or what distrusted source he or she may not hear, it uses censorship to control thought," Kennedy wrote. "This is unlawful. The First Amendment confirms the freedom to think for ourselves." (Read more)

3. ISIS Warns of Terror Strikes in San Francisco, New York, London - FreeBeacon

The ISIS terrorist organization is threatening to launch new attacks in San Francisco, New York, and London, according to new warning messages posted on the group's social media channels.

The messages feature the three cities and call for adherents of the terror group's radical ideology to "kill them all," according to copies of the warnings obtained by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI, a group that monitors jihadi networks.

The Ash-Shaff media group [created the messages and] is believed to be based in Indonesia and/or operated by Indonesians." (Read more)

4. Pompeo: US will maintain Strait of Hormuz, as Iran continues to reject talks - JNS

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stressed on Monday that the United States will keep the Strait of Hormuz open to maritime traffic amid increasing tensions with Iran, which has repeatedly rejected U.S. overtures to come to the negotiating table.

"We are gonna keep it open," said Pompeo at the Economic Club of Washington, D.C. "We are going to build up a maritime security plan. Countries from all across the world who have a vested interest in keeping those waterways open will participate."

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Abbas Mousavi said Monday the United States is "not seeking dialogue." The Islamic Republic apparently also rejected Pompeo's offer to address Iranians themselves. "I recently offered to travel to Tehran and speak directly to the Iranian people. The regime hasn't accepted my offer," tweeted the secretary of state on Sunday. (Read more)

5. Turkey Threatens to Reignite European Migrant Crisis - Gatestone Institute

Turkey has threatened to re-open the floodgates of mass migration to Europe unless Turkish nationals are granted visa-free travel to the European Union. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu said that Turkey was backing out of the migrant deal because the EU had failed to honor its pledge to grant Turkish passport holders visa-free access to 26 European countries.

A day earlier, Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu accused European countries of leaving Turkey alone to deal with the migration issue. He warned: "We are facing the biggest wave of migration in history. If we open the floodgates, no European government will be able to survive for more than six months. We advise them not to try our patience."

Turkey currently hosts an estimated 3.5 million migrants and refugees - mainly Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans. Many of these people presumably would migrate to Europe if given the opportunity to do so.

If Turkey were to join the EU, it would overtake Germany to become the EU's largest member in terms of population. Consequently, the EU's largest member state would be Muslim. Some European officials have warned that Turkish accession would cause Europe to "implode" and be "Islamized." (Read more)

6. Nigerian Cardinal Urges Europeans to Stop Encouraging Africans to Migrate - Breitbart

Cardinal Francis Arinze has urged Europeans to cease encouraging Africans to migrate to Europe, insisting that people are better off in their home countries.

In an interview with the Catholic Herald last week, the 86-year-old Cardinal Arinze, once considered a top candidate for the papacy, said that when countries lose their young people to migration, they lose the people who can best build their nation's future.

"So the countries in Europe and America can sometimes help best, not by encouraging the young people to come to Europe but to help the countries from which they come," he said. Arinze also looked at the problem of mass migration from the perspective of the receiving nations, insisting that they must be prudent enough to only accept the immigrants that they can effectively integrate. 7. Secret McCabe Texts With MI-5 Counterpart Emerge, Spotlighting UK's Early Role In 'Russiagate' - ZeroHedge

Newly surfaced text messages between Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and his counterpart at MI-5, the UK's domestic security service, have cast new light on Britain's role in the FBI's 2016 'Russiagate' investigation, according to The Guardian. They shared concerns about "our strange situation" as the FBI launched its 2016 investigation into whether Donald Trump's campaign was colluding with Russia, the Guardian has learned.

Text messages between Andrew McCabe, the deputy director of the FBI at the time, and Jeremy Fleming, his then counterpart at MI5, now the head of GCHQ, also reveal their mutual surprise at the result of the EU referendum, which some US officials regarded as a "wake-up call", according to a person familiar with the matter.

Moreover, much of "Operation Crossfire Hurricane" - the FBI's official investigation into the Trump campaign - occurred on UK soil. (Read more)

8. Russia Probe Twist: A Billion Dollar CEO, A Convicted Russian Agent And The FBI - SaraACarter

If what you already know about the FBI's investigation into President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia has you wondering what can come next, "make sure you are sitting down because it's about to get worse," said Patrick Byrne, the philanthropist and CEO of the mega online retail chain Overstock.com.

Byrne's decision to come forward didn't come lightly. However, he said it was necessary after watching what had transpired between the FBI, the intelligence community and the probe into President Trump's campaign over the past several years. "It was something I knew I had to do," he told this reporter. "Those running the operation were not honest and in the end I realized I was being used in some sort of soft coup."

"At some point prior to the 2016 election, when Byrne's contact with Maria Butina diminished, the government asked and encouraged him to renew contact with her and he did so, continuing to inform the government of her activities. Byrne states he was informed by government agents that his pursuit and involvement with Maria (and concomitant surveillance of her) was requested and directed from the highest levels of the FBI and intelligence community." 9. Trump Administration Announces Plan Allowing People to Buy Lower-Cost Prescription Drugs From Canada - Epoch Times

The administration of President Donald Trump revealed a plan on July 31 that would let Americans buy lower-cost prescription drugs from Canada. The action plan released by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) included two pathways to get lower-cost drugs to consumers.

One relies on the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to allow people to import drugs from Canada. That was expected to lead to "significant cost savings" for Americans, the FDA said. The second path allows manufacturers to import versions of FDA-approved drugs that the companies sell in other countries and are the same versions used in the United States.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said that Trump had been pushing to lower the cost of drugs and that he spoke with the president about the issue Tuesday night. "President Trump has been clear: for too long American patients have been paying exorbitantly high prices for prescription drugs that are made available to other countries at lower prices," Azar added in a statement.(Read more)

10. 'OPERATION END GAME': Convicted Murderer Among Those Arrested In Online Child Sex Sting - Operation 911

As a result of a proactive undercover investigation coordinated by the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, nine people were arrested over a three-day period beginning Thursday, July 25, 2019. Those arrested were charged with Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act of 2007.

The arrestees, ranging in age from 19 to 53, traveled from areas around Northeast Georgia with the intent to meet a child for sex. One person that was arrested was a convicted murderer who had completed his sentence. One person was arrested in possession of firearms and a machete. Thirteen mobile phones were seized as evidence during the operation.

Additionally, the operation targeted those that are willing to exploit children by purchasing sex with a minor. Since 2014, the Georgia ICAC Task Force has arrested over 130 people in similar operations. GBI Special Agent in Charge, Debbie Garner remarked, "This type of cooperation and collaboration is invaluable in the effort to keep our children safe from predators who seek to harm them. This successful operation was a true partnership between all the agencies involved. We will continue to aggressively work together to protect our children." (Read more)

The Collective-Dems for president

t's really a collective-they are all socialistically inclined. They talk about nothing, but talk around everything. Their ideas are worn out socialism repackaged in headline-oriented media bytes and fragmented Twitter tweets. Merriam-Webster defines socialism as: "any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods; a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done." If you are following the Democratic Presidential debates, you are seeing how this "collective" thinks and acts.
These are people who will disregard the horrors of socialist experiments in governments worldwide. They ignore the murders in China and Cuba; they overlook the devastation of Venezuela, where basic needs such as food are no longer available to the public because of socialism; They keep poking at problems, pointing out the terrible things Americans are facing, but offer no real solutions. It's an entire political party based on fear mongering and negativity just to get enough votes to attain power. Their solutions lack common sense, practicality, vision, and inability to implement. The solutions and positions are morally bankrupt. Yet the media positions them as the saviors of earth, itself.

Communists lie and deceive; they promise everything to those who have nothing; they cause class and economic warfare, plying unwitting minds with words like equality, peace, open borders, and fairness. When they gain control, they enrich themselves, establish a ruling class and a peasant class, and suck the wealth out of the nation. The wealthy minority become very wealthy, and the middle class and poor keep getting poorer. Communism has no religious freedom as the state replaces God. Communists have infiltrated our government over the years, especially during the previous two administrations. They are destroying our children with gender diversity, the focus on sex, entitlement, misplaced equality, and the downplaying of traditional God-centered values. Sadly, many Christians have also fallen into this hell-trap.

Communism/socialism is rooted in the Communist Manifesto, which calls for the abolition of all morals and religion, rendering the state as god. Christians who believe that socialism is in step with the Bible point to Acts 4:32, which says, "And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that any of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common." The distinguishing factor, however, is that socialism forces the redistribution of wealth, while as depicted in Acts, Christianity gives it freely. Beware of so-called progressives and moderates in the entire political system. They will tell you anything for you to give them power over you-just what the Collective is doing with every debate.

Nepali Believers Distribute Aid to Survivors as Floodwaters Recede

South Asia (Mission Network News) - Rescue efforts continue this week as monsoon season kicks off in South Asia. The death toll stands at 670 so far across Nepal, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, but many remain missing. Flooding affected more than 25 million people, the UN reports.

Floodwaters are receding now, but they covered entire villages several days ago. Landslides triggered by monsoon rains carried away people, homes, and livestock. World Mission's Greg Kelley says national partners in Nepal send grim reports.

"They're telling us about villages that they're working in being wiped off the map; bodies are being washed away. [In] places where we planted churches, people are disappearing," he recounts.

Even so, a silver lining remains. "When you combine India, Nepal, Bangladesh, we're talking about some of the highest concentrated areas in the world where people have never heard about Jesus," Kelley observes. (ChristianNews.net) Read more
