1. Donald Trump: Jews Voting Democrat Show 'Total Lack of Knowledge or Great Disloyalty' - Breitbart

President Donald Trump criticized Democrats on Tuesday after Rep. Ilhan Omar suggested that the United States should cut aid to Israel after officials blocked her and Rep. Rashida Tlaib from visiting the country.

Trump indicated that the suggestion was ridiculous. "Five years ago, the concept of even talking about this - cutting off aid to Israel because of two people that hate Israel and hate Jewish people - I can't believe we're even having this conversation," he said.

He condemned Democrats for defending Tlaib and Omar and their comments against Israel and the Jewish people."I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty," he said.

2. Terror assessment report warns of attack risk at planned Holocaust memorial - Jerusalem Post

A report released by a senior counter-terrorism expert has exposed serious risks in the Government's plans to build a Holocaust Center Victoria Tower Gardens. The report explains that the high-profile Jewish focused building would be a "high value" target for attacks because of its proximity both to Parliament and MI5, and because it lacks the same security measures [as] it would be a "softer target."

In the report, dubbed the Tudway Report, former detective chief superintendent Adrian Tudway, who was the Association of Chief Police Officers national co-coordinator for domestic extremism, has said that the proposal to site the Holocaust Memorial and Learning Center within Victoria Tower Gardens would create a "perfect storm" of terrorism risks.

"The adjacent Parliamentary estate is protected by armed police patrols and significant security measures; Victoria Tower Gardens is not and will not be," Tudway explains in the report. "This makes Victoria Tower Gardens a softer target for extremists than the Parliamentary estate or the Security Service building to the immediate South of Victoria Tower Gardens."

3. US and Israel sign agreement to strengthen partnership - JNS

The United States and Israel signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday to strengthen the alliance between the two countries.

U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) administrator Mark Green and Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz signed the global partnership agreement in Jerusalem to enable "the American and Israeli private sectors to help increase employment opportunities and build resilient communities" and further "development cooperation in water, education, technology, science, agriculture, cyber-security and humanitarian assistance," according to USAID.

"Today's occasion is an opportunity to celebrate this bond, which has driven all dimensions of our bilateral relationship. It is also an opportunity to renew and deepen our friendship through even closer collaboration, friendship in action, shared values in operation," said Green in a speech. "It's only natural that our two development agencies work together. After all, we very much share the same vision."

- World Israel News

On Wednesday night, the IDF issued a statement indicating that Palestinians fired a rocket from Gaza into Israel. The Israeli military added, "This is the fifth rocket fired from Gaza in the last 6 days."

On Saturday, terrorists in Gaza launched three rockets at Israel, with Israeli aerial defense batteries intercepting two of the missiles, the military announced.

Israeli media reported that shrapnel from the Iron Dome defense system landed on the patio of a house. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

1. Trump cancels visit with Denmark PM after she rebuffs 'absurd' idea of US buying Greenland - FoxNews

President Trump on Tuesday abruptly canceled a planned meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, saying there was no point to the trip after Frederiksen called the idea that the U.S. might buy Greenland from Denmark "absurd" -- and insisted there would be no Copen-haggling about it.

Trump had been expected to visit Denmark on Sept. 2-3 as part of his trip to Europe. "Denmark is a very special country with incredible people, but based on Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's comments, that she would have no interest in discussing the purchase of Greenland, I will be postponing our meeting scheduled in two weeks for another time," Trump wrote.

"The Prime Minister was able to save a great deal of expense and effort for both the United States and Denmark by being so direct," he added. "I thank her for that and look forward to rescheduling sometime in the future!" The White House later clarified that the entire trip to Denmark had been scrapped, including a planned meeting with the Queen of Denmark. (Read more)

- Father, we pray our leaders will come together and do what is best for the people of Denmark, of the United States, and of Greenland.

- He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. (Psalm 98:3)

2. U.S. 'ready' to conclude talks with Taliban - OANN

On Tuesday, a top U.S. negotiator for the Afghan region said he's returning to the Qatari capitol of Doha Wednesday to finish what he hopes is the last round of discussions with the Taliban. Currently, about 14,000 U.S. troops are stationed in Afghanistan. However, the current peace plan seeks to drop that number by about 5,000 in exchange for the Taliban cutting ties with Al-Qaeda.

President Trump, who has long been a critic of the Afghan war, told reporters this week he believes the talks with the Taliban are going well. The War in Afghanistan has been raging for nearly 18-years, making it the longest war in U.S. history. In the past decade, over 32,000 people have died as a result of the conflict.

Critics are concerned that many militants associated with the Taliban may join the local ISIS sector rather than abide by the peace plan. However, President Trump said he plans on having intelligence keep an eye on the Taliban even if U.S. troops pull out. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for an end to this war in Afghanistan and for the people there to experience Your Peace.

- 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. (Revelation 21:4)

3. India Weighing Preemptive Nuclear Strike In Response to Kashmir - Breitbart

Nuclear-armed China, its ally Pakistan, and their fellow nuclear power India all have competing claims to territories in the volatile Himalayan region of Kashmir. Despite a 2003 ceasefire between Pakistan and India, the two countries clash along their Kashmir border almost daily.

India's recently declared commitment to its nuclear doctrine of 'No First Use' would be contingent upon the developing circumstances in its Muslim-majority Kashmir dispute with China and Pakistan. The declaration came days after Beijing, through its state-run Global Times, cautioned of a potential nuclear war over its Kashmir moves.

Nuclear war threats came after India revoked Indian Kashmir's limited autonomy and broke the region, including a portion administered by China, into two federally controlled territories, angering Beijing. [China] deemed India's move in Kashmir a violation of its sovereignty despite denials by an Indian official who claimed New Delhi is not seeking to annex additional Chinese Kashmir. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for the intervention of Your Church over this crisis. Help us know how to pray. Magnify the influence and efforts of those who are believers in this region.

- You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. (Matthew 24:6)

4. Graham Will Advise AG Barr On Rollout Of Russia Trump Docs. They Must Be Made Public. - SaraACarter

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham told Fox News' Sean Hannity Tuesday, he will meet with Department of Justice Attorney General William Barr this week to advise on the public rollout of classified documents pertaining to the FBI's investigation into President Trump and Russia.

The documents, which President Trump gave Barr full authority to declassify, were turned over earlier this year but have still not been made public. Those documents include the redacted sections of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act applications on former Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page, the Gang of Eight classified binder briefing documents pertaining to the investigation, FBI interviews with former British spy Christopher Steele, as well as a slew of other documents.

Graham noted that Americans deserve to know the truth about the now debunked FBI investigation into Trump Russia collusion and the extent of which it was politicized by former senior officials within the Obama Administration. Graham has also promised that his committee will do an extensive investigation of alleged abuses by those officials. "I don't want people to conjecture as to what happened. I want you to read it," said Graham. (Read more)

- Father, we pray all these documents will come out in Your timing. Help the American people understand the full implications of what has been done and unite to prevent this corruption from ever happening again.

- Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)

5. Trump Has Right to End DACA, Justice Dept. Tells Supreme Court - New York Times

The government's brief, filed late Monday, is one of the biggest legal tests of the president's immigration agenda. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments about the fate of the DACA program in November. The justices could decide the case next spring or summer, just as the presidential election campaign is in full swing.

President Barack Obama created DACA in 2012 through executive action after Congress refused to pass legislation to grant young immigrants permanent legal status. As a presidential candidate, Mr. Trump argued that Mr. Obama's actions were an abuse of power and repeatedly called for the program to end.

In September 2017, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that Mr. Trump was terminating the program because the Supreme Court had found a related program for the parents of Dreamers to be unconstitutional. A federal judge blocked the administration from ending the DACA program and an appeals court upheld that action. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for a fair legislative solution for the millions of illegal immigrants who are currently part of the DACA program.

- One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you. (Numbers 15:29)

6. Trump Administration Announces Rule to Enable Detaining Immigrant Families Indefinitely - Epoch Times

The Trump administration announced on Aug. 21 a new rule that replaces the Flores agreement, which has long guided how long immigrant families who cross the border illegally into the United States can be held.

The rule "will allow for termination of" the agreement, the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement, allowing the department and the Health and Human Services agency "to respond to significant statutory and operational changes that have occurred since the [Flores agreement] has been in place, including dramatic increases in the numbers of unaccompanied children and family units crossing into the United States."

"Seeking termination of the [Flores agreement is an important step] towards an immigration system that is humane and operates consistently with the intent of Congress," the statement added. The new rule will change the way U.S. agencies care for alien children, both those who arrive with family members and those who arrive unaccompanied. It includes removing the time limit for holding families. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray the Trump Administration will be able to move forward with this rule change and quickly deport those who do not have permission to be here.

- When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people's hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)

7. Watchdog alerts Trump that border agency violated DNA collection law for years, letting violent criminals walk free - FoxNews

A top government watchdog on Wednesday alerted President Trump and Congress that Customs and Border Protection (CBP), through a "disturbing" pattern of misconduct, has endangered the public for nearly a decade by failing to comply with a federal law requiring that the agency collect DNA samples from detained migrants.

In a scathing letter to Trump, exclusively obtained by Fox News, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) said CBP's "noncompliance with the law has allowed subjects subsequently accused of violent crimes, including homicide and sexual assault, to elude detection even when detained multiple times by CBP or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)."

The OSC told the White House that it was taking the "strongest possible step" to "rebuke the agency's failure to comply with the law," as well as its "unreasonable" attempts to defend its own conduct. Under the law, CBP was required to collect DNA from individuals in its custody, to be run against FBI violent-crimes databases.

- Father, we pray all officials who contributed to this systemic failure will be held fully accountable.

- Remove wicked officials from the king's presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness. (Proverbs 25:5)

8. Constitution Party Gets Fraud-Laced Voting System Thrown Out, State May Have to Return to Paper Ballots; State Officials Were "Not Credible" - Restoring Liberty

Thursday Judge Amy Totenberg of the U.S. District Court of North Georgia banned the current Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting systems from further use in Georgia elections beginning in 2020. The DRE system produces results that cannot be verified by the voter, audited by election officials or recounted for candidates. The court found the system impairs Georgia voters' Constitutional right to vote in any federal election.

Judge Totenberg's ruling requires the state to implement a backup plan of hand marked paper ballots if the system replacing the current DRE system is not ready for the March Presidential Primary.

The ruling Thursday came as no surprise to those who attended a July hearing that revealed the state had concealed key internet exposures and vulnerabilities from the court. Totenberg's comments cited "inconsistent candor" by the defendants in "denial and dodging" of the "broad scale vulnerability" involving the 2017 internet breach of the election servers at Kennesaw State. She concluded: "the Defendants' contention that the servers were - not intentionally destroyed or wiped is flatly not credible." (Read more)

- Father, thank You for this decision for voter integrity in Georgia. We pray similar systems in other states will also be challenged successfully.

- A wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the stronghold in which they trust. (Proverbs 21:22)

9. Planned Parenthood Refuses to Protect Life - Liberty Council

Planned Parenthood has refused to comply with President Trump's Protect Life Rule and officially withdrew yesterday from the Title X Family Planning Program. This withdrawal follows a letter that Planned Parenthood's lawyers sent to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals last week indicating that it would withdraw barring emergency judicial relief. The Ninth Circuit declined to hear Planned Parenthood's request for an emergency injunction.

The Trump administration's rule ensures compliance with the statutory prohibition against using federal funds for programs where abortion is a method of family planning, which means the defunding of Planned Parenthood by as much as $60 million in Title X funds annually. It does not reduce Title X funds; it redirects them to providers that do not perform or promote abortions.

Title X funds are supposed to be used to help low-income women and men receive birth control, cancer screenings and other health care services. While the tax money cannot be used to pay for abortions, it has indirectly funded Planned Parenthood's vast abortion business. (Read more)

- Father, we pray all public funding for Planned Parenthood and clinics that perform abortion will be completely and permanently cut off.

- For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.
(Proverbs 2:21-22)

10. Piers Morgan: Populism Is Rising Because Liberals Have Become Unbearable - RealClearPolitics

Liberals have become utterly, pathetically illiberal and it is a massive problem. What's the point of calling yourself a liberal if you don't allow anyone else to have a different view?

Populism is rising because people are fed up with the PC culture. They're fed up with snowflakery, they're fed up with people being offended by everything and they're gravitating towards forceful personalities who go: "This is all nonsense!"

I understand why the liberals, my side, if you like, are getting it so horribly wrong. They just wanna tell people, not just how to lead their lives, but if you don't lead it the way I tell you to it's a kind of version of fascism. If you don't lead the life the way I'm telling you to then I'm going to ruin your life. (Read more)

- Father, we pray these words from Piers Morgan will influence liberals to break away from toxic leftist ideologies. Set them free.

- The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6)

Liz and Bernie's blasphemy

Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Democratic presidential hopefuls socialist Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (VT) are walking the thin line of blasphemy by saying that the Bible supports socialism. According to the Daily Caller, Sanders and Warren are campaigning to win the "Christian" vote by quoting scripture in support of their socialist agendas. The Daily Caller reports, "The two presidential candidates addressed a group of black Christian millennials Saturday at a Black Church PAC's Youth Leadership Conference in Atlanta. Both referenced the Bible to support their progressive agendas as they campaigned to the faithful." Sanders says the Bible "is about justice" and "standing up to the wealthy and powerful."

Warren quoted a watered-down version of Matthew 25:35. According to the Daily Caller, she said, "for I was hungry, and you gave me meat ... I was a stranger and you took me in," and then spoke about the need to increase taxes on the "bazillionaires," gun control, eliminating student debt and doing away with private healthcare. She said, "These plans show my values," as if they were those of Christ's. Let me be very clear: The Bible is the story of the gift of salvation. It is given freely to those who accept-whether Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, free or slave. The justice is God's justice-not man's brand of "get even" justice. God's law is to be written on the hearts of those who accept Christ, meaning that disciples of Christ want to follow the laws and are not compelled or forced to follow them. As God's people, we are not forced to administer justice or compassion, we do it freely and cheerfully.

Socialists use the Bible toclaim God instituted socialism based on Acts 4:32, "And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common." The difference here is that the early disciples of Christ in Acts voluntarily out of the love of their hearts gave one to another. In Socialism and Communism, government becomes god and distribution of personal property by the state is compulsory. Chapter II. Proletarians and Communists of the Communist Manifesto says, "But Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis; it therefore acts in contradiction to all past historical experience."

Warren's and Sanders' use of the Bible to justify the force of socialism borders blasphemy. Theypromise everything to those who have nothing; they cause class and economic warfare, plying unwitting minds with words like equality, peace, open borders, and fairness. Christians need not be so ignorant to believe such deceivers. There is no common ground with the Bible and the many brands of socialism and communism. In Nicaragua in 2009 there were billboards with thewords "Christiano, Socialista, Solidario." They promoted themarriage of Christianity and socialism to convince people that it was their Christian duty to vote socialist, to give up their rights to the government. It resulted in tyranny. Don't be deceived by these blasphemers.

Have a blessed and powerful day,

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."
