1. World Bank report: Gaza Strip's economy is in 'free fall' - Israel Hayom
The Gaza Strip's economy is in "free fall" and Israel and the international community must take urgent action to avoid its "immediate collapse," a report from the World Bank warned Tuesday. According to the report, Gaza's economy contracted by 6% in the first quarter of 2018 and unemployment there is now over 50% - and over 70% among Gaza's youth. The World Bank said the enclave's crippled economy was the result of various factors, starting with Israel's decade-long blockade against Hamas, which seized control of Gaza in 2007 in a military coup, as well as budget cuts by the rival Palestinian Authority and a reduction in international aid, particularly from the United States.

2. World Bank report warns Gaza Strip economy is in 'free fall' - Times of Israel
The Gaza Strip's economy is in "free fall," a report from the World Bank warned Tuesday, calling for urgent action by Israel and the international community to avoid "immediate collapse."
According to the report, Gaza's economy contracted by 6 percent in the first quarter of 2018. It said unemployment is now over 50% - and over 70% among Gaza's youth.
The World Bank cited various factors, starting with Israel's decade-long blockade against the territory's Hamas rulers, for the precarious downturn. It also cited budget cuts by the rival Palestinian Authority and a reduction in international aid to the Palestinians, particularly from the United States.

3. Russia said to spurn Israeli bid to send top officials to discuss downed plane- Times of Israel
Russian officials reportedly rebuffed an Israeli attempt to dispatch a high-level government representative to Moscow last week following the downing of a Russian spy plane by Syrian air defenses during an Israeli airstrike.
Israel initially sought to send a delegation led by its national security adviser, Meir Ben-Shabbat, along with air force officials, the Haaretz newspaper reported late Tuesday. The government also considered having Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman personally visit Moscow to tend to the spiraling diplomatic crisis between the two countries over the deadly incident.
But Russia spurned the offers, preferring the explanations over the downing of the plane be left to military officials, according to the daily.

4. Netanyahu Says Israel Will Continue Syria Operations to Prevent Iranian Entrenchment - Algemeiner
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel would continue to carry out military operations in Syria, issuing the pledge after Russia announced it would supply an advanced anti-aircraft system to its Syrian ally.
"We will continue to act to prevent Iranian military entrenchment in Syria and we will continue the military coordination between the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and the Russian army," Netanyahu told reporters before boarding a flight to New York, where he will address the UN General Assembly.

5. Tel Avivi-J'Lem Rail Operating Without Security Cameras - Jerusalem Post
Approximately 20 kilometers of the new high-speed railway link connecting Jerusalem and Ben-Gurion Airport lack necessary security cameras, public broadcaster Kan reported on Tuesday as members of the public traveled on the line for the first time.
According to the report, another two years are needed for the remaining cameras to be installed in five tunnels, although their absence did not prevent emergency services from granting approval for the line's operation.
Originally due to open in 2008, Israel's 57-km. flagship infrastructure project has been plagued by repeated lengthy delays and soaring costs. With electrical work still ongoing between the Tel Aviv and Ben-Gurion Airport stations, it was decided to partially open the line this week.

1. Trump calls on world to isolate Iran, attacks 'globalism' in U.N. speech - Washington Times
President Trump called on world leaders Tuesday to isolate and sanction Iran until the Islamic Republic stops spreading terrorism and working to build a nuclear arsenal. "Iran's leaders sow chaos, death and destruction," Mr. Trump said. "Iran's leaders plunder the nation's resources to enrich themselves and to spread mayhem across the Middle East and far beyond. The dictatorship used the funds to build nuclear-capable missiles . . . [and to] finance havoc and slaughter in Syria and Yemen."
Mr. Trump went after a series of world bodies, including the World Trade Organization, the oil-producing OPEC coalition, and the International Criminal Court. "We will never surrender America's sovereignty to an unaccountable, unelected global bureaucracy," Mr. Trump said. "We reject the ideology of globalism." The president also criticized the U.N. global compact on migration, an effort to resettle more refugees that was embraced by former President Barack Obama. "The U.S. will not participate in the new global compact on migration," Mr. Trump said. "Migration should not be governed by an international body unaccountable to our own citizens."
Referring to his tariff war with China, Mr. Trump said the U.S. has lost 3 million manufacturing jobs since China joined the WTO. "We have racked up $13 trillion in trade deficits over last two decades," he said. "Those days are over. America will never apologize for protecting its citizens. China's market distortions and the way they deal cannot be tolerated. America will always act in our national interest." (Read more)
- Father, we are grateful for a President and administration that advocates on behalf of the citizens of our great nation. We pray President Trump's clarity and leadership on these issues will cause other nations to come into agreement with our goals.
- Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? (Amos 3:3)
2. Trump hails North Korea progress: 'Greater than anyone would know' - Washington Times
President Trump said Tuesday that progress toward denuclearizing North Korea was "far greater than anyone would know." The White House is in the process of setting up a second summit between Mr. Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un, chairman of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea.
"I have much personal correspondence with Chairman Kim and I think we will do something that is good for Chairman Kim and good for North Korea and also good for the rest of the world," Mr. Trump said as he arrived at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.
Mr. Trump's upbeat assessment followed a three-day meeting last week between Mr. Kim and South Korea President Moon Jae-in in Pyongyang, where Mr. Kim agreed to close a key missile site and possibly dismantle the country's main nuclear facility in return for unspecified concessions by the U.S. (Read more)
- Father, thank You for answering the prayers of the saints, who have pleaded with You to end this long war and reunite the Korean people.
- All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace. (Isaiah 54:13)
3. Kavanaugh denies sexual misconduct in Fox News exclusive: 'I know I'm telling the truth' - Fox News
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh repeatedly denied accusations of sexual misconduct that have threatened to derail his confirmation in an exclusive interview with Fox News on Monday. "What I know is the truth, and the truth is I've never sexually assaulted anyone," Kavanaugh told Fox News' Martha MacCallum.
Kavanaugh also told MacCallum that he would not withdraw his name from consideration over the allegations. "I want a fair process where I can defend my integrity, and I know I'm telling the truth," the judge said. "I know my lifelong record and I'm not going to let false accusations drive me out of this process. I have faith in God and I have faith in the fairness of the American people."
President Trump has repeatedly defended his nominee against sexual misconduct accusations, which he has called "totally political" and "one of the single most unfair, unjust things to happen to a candidate for anything." Kavanaugh told McCallum that Trump had called him Monday afternoon to say "he's standing by me" and said he was confident that will remain the case. (Read more)
- Father, we grieve for how terribly the Kavanaugh family has been treated and pray You would lift their spirits through the rest of this confirmation process.
- But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head. (Psalm 3:3)
4. Grassley to Feinstein: We won't delay Kavanaugh hearing - The Hill
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is rejecting a request from Democrats to delay a Thursday hearing where Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford are set to testify. Grassley sent a letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the committee, saying he would "respectfully decline" her request to postpone until the White House ordered an investigation into two sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh.
The letter was sent on Tuesday and publicly released just minutes after Grassley's office announced it had scheduled a Friday committee vote on Kavanaugh's nomination. Grassley added in his letter to Feinstein that there was "no reason" for delay the hearing, after lawyers for Ford, one of Kavanaugh's accusers, agreed to the Thursday date after days of negotiations. He added delaying a hearing would be "unfair" to Kavanaugh, who has repeatedly said he is willing to publicly testify in order to clear his name. (Read more)
- Father, we pray for all current and future nominees to receive fair and swift hearings and for the fundamental changes to Senate rules needed to make that happen.
"As it is, if we had not delayed, we could have gone and returned twice." (Genesis 43:10)
5. #TravisAllenWriteIn - California voters should write in Travis Allen for Senator - Bookwormroom
When Democrats successfully turned California into an Open Primary state, I argued that this would destroy true democracy in California. Open primaries turn the "primary" into a pre-vote before a November run-off. Aside from John Cox's unexpected (and delightful) appearance on the gubernatorial ballot, come October and November, when voters start paying attention, Californians do not get to hear conservative voices raised on national issues.
Up until a few weeks ago, California conservatives had two choices if they wished to have a say in sending a Senator to Congress: Kevin de León, who is an openly hard Leftist, or incumbent Dianne Feinstein, who has always positioned herself as a moderate Leftist. The Kavanaugh hearings have exposed Feinstein's utterly disgraceful, morally bankrupt behavior regarding Christine Blasey Ford's vague, uncorroborated charges against Kavanaugh.
There is something we California conservatives can do, though. With both Feinstein and de León now competing directly for the hard Left base in California, there's going to be a serious split in the ballot. Instead of one of them walking away with the majority of Democrat votes, each may get a roughly equal percentage. That provides an opening for a strong write-in campaign from every single conservative who enters the voting booth. My advice and plea is this: Write in Travis Allen's name. Travis Allen is a solid conservative, a bright and personable man, and a happy warrior. He was originally targeting the governor's office, but Cox, who got a last-minute boost from Trump, managed to get on the ballot and face off against Gavin Newsom. (And he's doing wonderfully against Newsom.) (Read more)
- Father, we pray this write-in campaign to give Californians a true conservative choice for Senator will be successful.
But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible." (Mark 10:27)
6. Project Veritas: IRS Employee Says 'Evidence,' Emails Deleted in Coverup - Breitbart
In the fourth installment of Project Veritas' investigative video series into the "Deep State," two subjects identified as Internal Revenue Service (IRS) officials appear to condone the agency's "unjust treatment" of conservative non-profit organizations - and one seems to affirm allegations that the former IRS commissioner appointed by Barack Obama deleted evidence to cover up that scandal.
One of its subjects, identified by Project Veritas as IRS attorney Jerry Semasek, says "mistakes were made" in the agency's handling of the agency's 2013 discrimination scandal, in which multiple 501(c)(4) groups with phrases like "tea party" or "patriots" in their names received extra scrutiny. In another undercover meetup, Project Veritas shows a man identified as Thomas Sheehy - an IRS tax examiner and member of the far-left group Austin Democratic Socialists of America in Texas - appearing to praise former IRS Commissioner John Koskinen's handling of the scandal, claiming the agency official couldn't be held accountable "because he deleted all the emails."
In another exchange, Sheehy appears to suggest he takes advantage of the agency's work benefits, allowing him ample time for socialist political activism. "I will say, I just really like the benefits. I get a lot of paid time off and sick days," Sheehy says. "So, like, for DSA stuff, I can just honestly . . . I will just stay late for a period. So, I will just call in for the next day." Further, Sheehy claims there are other members of Democratic Socialists of America working at the IRS, including a friend of his named "Chris" who helps manage the agency's social media presence. - Father, we continue to plead for justice throughout our federal government. Lord, remove each and every federal employee who has abused their position or power.
- Jesus said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves." (Luke 22:25-26)
7. Antifa Sends Threatening Message To Ted Cruz After Disrupting His Dinner: 'You Are Not Safe' - Daily Caller
The Washington, D.C. chapter of Antifa sent a message to Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz early Tuesday morning after chasing him out of a restaurant, telling the Texas senator that he is "not safe." Cruz was dining with his wife, Heidi, on Monday night when a large crowd of protesters flooded the restaurant shouting "we believe survivors," referring to allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, a nominee to the Supreme Court who Cruz supports. Cruz and his wife promptly left the restaurant.
A recording of the incident was soon tweeted by Smash Racism DC, a branch of Antifa based in Washington, D.C., with the hashtag "#CancelKavanugh." Hours later, Smash Racism DC doubled down on its harassment of the senator. "No - you can't eat in peace - your politics are an attack on all of us You're [sic] votes are a death wish. Your votes are hate crimes," Smash Racism DC wrote.
"This is a message to Ted Cruz, Bret [sic] Kavanaugh, Donald Trump and the rest of the racist, sexist, transphobic, and homophobic right-wing scum: You are not safe. We will find you. We will expose you. We will take from you the peace you have taken from so many others." (Read more)
- Father, we pray this incident will help voters understand exactly who will be given power if the Democrat party wins in November. We pray Your protection over Ted and Heidi Cruz, as well as the Republican caucus and the Trump administration and all their families.
- Do not grant the wicked their desires, Lord; do not let their plans succeed. (Psalm 140:8)
8. Dobson warns of socialist takeover if Christians don't vote - OneNewsNow
Dr. James Dobson warned Christians that if they neglect their duty to vote in November's midterm elections, they will likely lose their freedom - giving way to a socialist takeover sweeping America. "Socialism would replace freedom and free enterprise," Dobson alerted readers of his October monthly newsletter, according to WND. "God help us if you and I fail to fulfill our moral responsibility."
The founder of Family Talk radio and the James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI) made it clear that there will be dire consequences if Christians sit out November's election - stressing that it carries much more weight than any other midterm in United States history. "Everything is on the line, and a wholly new interpretation of the Constitution looms before us," insisted Dobson, who also founded Focus on the Family decades ago.
"Powerful social movements and passions are 'blowing in the wind,' and most of them have dangerous implications for the institution of the family, religious liberty, our children and unborn babies - and the country at large," the evangelical leader wrote his constituents. "Call or email every friend in your church or neighborhood and urge them to vote!" Dobson exclaimed. "Drive them to the polling place in your car if they don't have transportation or don't know where it is located. Ask your pastor to set up registration tables in the vestibule of your church. Talk to your family members. Do everything you can to influence this election. You can be sure that those whose views you oppose will be working just as hard. If you are AWOL in this battle, you and everything you stand for might slip away." (Read more)
- Father, we pray this call for action will reverberate throughout Your church. We pray each person who loves and serves You will inform themselves and vote this fall.
- When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation. (Proverbs 10:25)
9. Prayer and Action are the Keys to Midterm Elections, Christian Leaders Say - CBN News
On November 6, Americans will decide the makeup of the House of Representatives and the Senate for the next two years. Cindy Jacobs and Lance Wallnau say the Church can play a vital role in those elections. "I think we need to pray that God will raise up righteous leaders," Jacobs, founder of Generals of Intercession told CBN News. "We're at a tipping point for the nation, and I feel if we do not vote righteously then we are going to see some things unraveled. So as intercessors we want to pray, pray, pray, you know, that God will be exalted."
Wallnau sees freedom on the line and says it's a time to act. "We need to mobilize in our country so that we are actually able to occupy the spaces where we have freedom and push back on having those freedoms taken away," he said. "And most Christians don't want to mobilize, but the Book of Acts is about acts. And that's the root of activism, and you've to get engaged."
Jacobs is mobilizing a 40-day prayer event. "One thing we are doing is that there is a group of prayer networks that we have all banded together and we have something called Pray in Unity," she said. The website, Prayer in Unity.org, provides prayer guides beginning September 28 through Election Day. (Read more)

- Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, "Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?' " (Joel 2:17)
10. Rush Limbaugh: Democrats afflicted by mental problem - WorldNetDaily
Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday explained why the left creates movements like Black Lives Matter and #MeToo, and why they attack Supreme Court nominees like Brett Kavanaugh.
It's because they have failed, and they insist on blaming someone else, he said. In short, they have a mental problem.(Read more)

To investigate or not to investigate
The Democrats are calling for an FBI investigation into allegations that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford at a party in front of witnesses some 30 years ago. Notwithstanding, Blasey Ford's accusations have not been collaborated by any of the witnesses she claims were present at the party. Furthermore, a second accuser, Deborah Ramirez, came forward in a New Yorker magazine story of a similar event 35 years ago. Her allegations are also not collaborated by witnesses and close friends. But the Democrats want an FBI investigation of this one, too. Both accusers are active left wingers and have protested against the current President.
The Democrat playbook and talking points are trying to appeal to the fairness of "well, let's look into these with an FBI investigation so we can get the facts from an independent third party." Sounds reasonable. Until one looks at what is really going on here. Hillary Clinton, on Tuesday's MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show, said, "I think you can't avoid the appearance of insult if you don't have an investigation so that she is, you know, able to be evaluated fairly. And what I think the White House and the Republicans on the committee are trying to do is, you know, basically, put her in the dock and try to rush this through." Hillary Clinton, really? This doesn't meet the straight face test.
Clinton endured several such sexual assault, and even rape, allegations against her husband from Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Dolly Kyle Browning, and Jennifer Flowers. According to Attorney Larry Klayman, who represented many of Bill Clinton's accusers, Hillary Clinton started the "war room" during her husband's 1992 campaign. Its purpose "was to destroy any woman that would challenge Bill Clinton. She had to destroy the women who she knew were gong to come forward and reveal the alleged sexual harassment and rape, and intimidation to keep them quiet. Klayman said Hillary Clinton hired private detectives to intimidate the women into silence. No FBI investigation on this one.
Now Clinton is leading the charge for Kavanaugh's accusers, saying there should be an FBI investigation and that the women, "have the right to be believed." So far Kavanaugh has emphatically denied all these allegations and no witness has collaborated the accusers' stories. The Democrats want an FBI investigation only to delay the appointment until they control Congress, then there will be true obstruction and many more investigations as their coup continues. This, obviously, has all the indicators of the very worst of politics where peoples' lives and those of entire families are being defamed for the belief that the end justifies the means. Proverbs 14:2 says, "He that walks in his uprightness fears the Lord; but he that is perverse in his ways despises him." Stand in the gap for righteousness. Speak the truth to those who have ears to hear.
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

A Warning from Ben Carson

A Warning from Ben Carson
Housing Secretary Ben Carson claims 'socialist' plot to take over America has fueled Brett Kavanaugh's sex assault allegations
In a very important recent story over at the Daily Mail that has been totally censored by the mainstream media, they report that according to President Trump's Housing Secretary Ben Carson, a long-running socialist plot to take over America has been behind the recent Brett Kavanaugh sexual assault allegations.
While the mainstream media and big tech will do everything in their power to stifle Carson's claims, quite literally calling anyone who believes them a 'tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist', a closer look at Carson's warnings finds not only a shadowy conspiracy that has existed in America for over 100 years, but brings us straight to a cryptic warning recently given by Julian Assange of Wikileaks who eerily stated in his last pre-blackout interview: "This is the last free generation".
And while Assange warned of the technological prisons that have been constructed all around us in this age of never-ending surveillance cameras capturing the every move of Americans both out in the world while google and big tech's A.I. captures and records everything going on online, Assange adds in quite the understatement: "It smells a bit like totalitarianism - in some way." You can see Assange's entire last interview before his information blackout began in the first video below from Real.Video.

Lyrics
Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died
On Calvary.
Refrain:
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty,
At Calvary.
By God's Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I'd spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned
To Calvary.
Refrain:
Now I've giv'n to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my King,
Now my raptured soul can only sing
Of Calvary.
Refrain:
Oh, the love that drew salvation's plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span
At Calvary!

Palestinian Man Had Nightly Dreams of Jesus, Which Brought Him to Repent of His Hatred for Jews
[CharismaNews.com] Bassam Adranly grew up in a Palestinian, Greek Orthodox Christian family that never spoke negatively about Muslims or Islam but often criticized the Jews. In his '20s while a university student, Adranly became disenchanted with many aspects of his community's culture and turned to atheism.
But in 1995, Adranly had a powerful encounter with Jesus.
"Every night I was dreaming of Him, all night through," Adranly says. "Going with Him and His disciples everywhere ... and all day through, I couldn't get His words out of my mind."
One of the first things God addressed in Adranly's life was his deep-rooted prejudice toward the Jews.
