"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof."

1. Czech leaders endorse Israeli embassy move to Jerusalem - Israel National News

Czech leaders on Wednesday endorsed moving the country's embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, following a similar move by the US administration earlier this year.

In a joint statement, the Czech president, prime minister, parliament speaker and the foreign and defense ministers said the opening of a "Czech House" there in November would be "the first step in the plan to move the Czech embassy to Jerusalem."

Jiri Ovcacek, spokesman for the pro-Israeli President Milos Zeman, told AFP that the Czech House would shelter government institutions including the foreign ministry's Czech Center, the trade agency CzechTrade and tourism agency CzechTourism.

"The Czech House in Jerusalem will be ceremonially opened by Mr President during his visit to Israel in November," he said.

2. Palestinian protesters break up Jerusalem conference on Oslo Accords - Times of Israel

Palestinian activists on Wednesday forcibly broke up a meeting of Palestinians and Israelis who had come together in East Jerusalem to mark the 25th anniversary of the Oslo peace accords.

Ten to 12 men stormed the room at the American Colony Hotel where the conference was being held, according to participants.

They seized the microphone, swept papers, name cards and glasses off the speakers' table, shattering the glasses, and chanted in Arabic, "No normalization," "Jerusalem is Arab and free" and "No security cooperation."

3. Turkey Boosts Arms To Syrian Rebels As IDLIB Attack Looms, Groups Say - Jerusalem Post

AMMAN - Turkey has stepped up arms supplies to Syrian rebels to help them stave off an expected offensive by the Syrian army and its Russian and Iran-backed allies in the northwest near the Turkish frontier, rebel sources told Reuters.

Senior rebel officials said Turkey had sent more military aid to rebels in and around the Idlib region since a summit meeting with Iran and Russia last week failed to agree a deal to avert a government offensive into the area.

Turkey, which is already hosting 3.5 million Syrian refugees, is warning against such an attack, fearing it could force more Syrians over the border. President Tayyip Erdogan has warned of a humanitarian disaster and security risks for Turkey.

4. Palestinian Authority Demands Arab Support for Anti-Trump Diplomatic Campaign
- Algemeiner

The Palestinian Authority has decided to embark on a political and diplomatic campaign against the Trump administration, Israel's Channel Two reported on Wednesday. The Palestinian Authority's foreign minister, Riad al-Maliki, told official Palestinian radio that he had turned to the Arab states for support against Trump's policies toward the Palestinians.

These policies have included the defunding of the Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA, major cuts in aid to the PA, and the shuttering of the PLO mission in Washington, DC. Maliki informed attendees at an Arab League summit in Cairo of the Palestinian decision to engage in an anti-Trump campaign, including in international forums, and demanded Arab support.

5. PM: Europe must stop appeasing Iran as it plans terror attacks on the continent - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened his cabinet meeting Wednesday by stressing that the world must unite against not only against the threat of Islamic State, but also against that of Iran.

"It is doing so to a certain extent against Islamic State but it is not doing so against Iran," he said. "On the contrary, what we are seeing is that while Iran is sending terrorist cells to Europe, European leaders are appeasing - and reconciling with - Iran, in the same week that the terrorist cells were due to carry out their operations, which we helped thwart. This is unacceptable."

Netanyahu was presumably referring to intelligence the Mossad passed onto authorities in France, Germany, and Belgium leading to arrests of a cell headed by an Iranian diplomat that planned to bomb a June 30 conference organized by an Iranian dissident group, the People's Mujahedeen of Iran.

1. Violence Against Right Escalates as Media Amp up Hate-Rhetoric Against Trump - Breitbart

The morning after Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd compared media critics to racist segregationists and singled out Fox News as one of America's biggest problems, a man in a "mentally agitated state," and apparently upset over an officer involved shooting, intentionally crashed his vehicle into the studios of FOX 4 in Dallas, Texas.

Hours after the far-left Washington Post published Joe Scarborough's September 11 op-ed claiming Trump is a bigger danger to America than the 9/11 terrorists, a mass shooting threat was made against a group of Trump supporters meeting at the president's hotel in Washington DC. Breitbart News has already tallied over documented 550 instances of harassment, threats, and outright violence aimed at Trump and his supporters, and now were are seeing a definite uptick this week as the media have amped up their ad hominem attacks.

On top of the two incidents above, a GOP congressional candidate in California was attacked with a switchblade on Saturday; a GOP campaign office in Laramie, Wyoming, was lit on fire two days after it opened; conservative columnist Denise McAllister has been forced into hiding due to death and rape threats; and a Broadway actress openly called for Trump's assassination. Father, we pray for Your protection to surround our nominated and elected officials, their families and supporters. Give each one courage to stand up for what they believe despite anger, threats and foul play.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2)

2. Levenson Concedes Victory For New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District Nomination, Negron Wins - Daily Caller

Air Force veteran and state Rep. Steven Negron won the Republican candidacy for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District after Stewart Levenson conceded victory. Negron will face off against Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. Ann Kuster, who ran uncontested, according to The New York Times.

Negron's focus areas include stronger border security, upholding the Second Amendment and supporting small businesses, according to his campaign page. He was endorsed by the 28 New Hampshire House members and former Trump campaign co-chairman Fred Doucette.

Kuster plans on addressing the opioid crisis, job training for students through public-private partnerships and environmental conservation, her campaign page said. Republicans face an uphill battle unseating Kuster, who has been in the House since 2012, according to New Hampshire Public Radio. She won the 2016 House Elections with 49.8 percent of the votes, according to TheNYT. (Read more)

Father, thank You for this conservative victory and a true electoral choice for people of New Hampshire. We pray this election will not be subject to fraud from out-of-state voters.

The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. (Proverbs 21:31)

3. Gingrich, Republicans float new Contract with America ahead of midterms - Washington Times

Matt Sparks, a spokesman for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, California Republican, said party leaders have been talking about honing their brand, but that doesn't necessarily mean agreeing on a specific platform.

"I think a big part of the message for why we deserve to retain control are the results of a stronger economy and communities and a stronger military," he said. "The Democrats are quite simply against that. They want to pass single-payer health care, abolish [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and impeach the president."

Two months out from Election Day, political observers say Democrats are well-positioned to net the 23 seats they need to flip the House and are within striking distance of capturing the Senate. Democratic leaders are promoting their own version of a contract, dubbed "A Better Deal." But it doesn't track with the bolder promises promoted by left-wing candidates for free college, government-sponsored health care and abolishing ICE. (Read more)

Father, we pray both parties will give the voters a clear choice this November.

Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples! (Isaiah 62:10)

4. Whistleblower speaks out on intelligence community's anti-Trump abuses - The Hill

Richard Higgins, an irregular-warfare expert with decades of intelligence experience, was serving in the National Security Council's strategic planning office when he says he was alerted by "good guys at FBI" about a high-level, coordinated effort to subvert the president. He drafted a memo, "POTUS and Political Warfare," which detailed "withering information campaigns" directed against Trump by "'deep state' actors, globalists, bankers, Islamists, and establishment Republicans." This was far beyond normal politics, he wrote; it was an assault at "an unprecedented level" designed to remove "a seated president through manipulation of the news cycle."

The memo eventually reached Trump, who reportedly agreed with its assessment. Within 48 hours, Higgins was terminated by then-national security adviser H.R. McMaster's deputy and escorted out of the building. Trump was said to have been "furious" when told of Higgins's firing. Sixteen months later, the Times confirmed Higgins's account that there is, in fact, a clandestine, unelected cabal willfully thwarting the Trump presidency.

Asked how these forces are specifically operating, he replies: "Their aim is to kill the issues he was elected on. We're still in Afghanistan. We don't have the border wall or even funding for it. We still have ObamaCare the DOJ (Department of Justice) and FBI are leaving the rule of law in tatters while the Republican establishment allows a nearly 18-month-long unprecedented, extra-legal [special counsel Robert] Mueller spectacle to continue unabated. Mueller's deep-state rear-guard action exists to cover the retreat of corrupt officials."

Given the public confirmation of his initial warning, he offers a fresh one: "We are fighting for this country's future as well as her past. I warned senior [officials] on the national security transition that we were storming Omaha Beach on Jan. 20, 2017. They didn't listen, and they didn't survive the first wave. We still have to take that beach. The very same principles are at stake." (Read more)

Father, we continue to ask for Your help to expose and remove wicked men and women throughout our federal government. We pray for total victory!

Remove wicked officials from the king's presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness. (Proverbs 25:5)

5. LEAKED VIDEO: Google Leadership's Dismayed Reaction to Trump Election- Breitbart

A video recorded by Google shortly after the 2016 presidential election reveals an atmosphere of panic and dismay amongst the tech giant's leadership, coupled with a determination to thwart both the Trump agenda and the broader populist movement emerging around the globe. Sent to Breitbart News by an anonymous source, it features co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, VPs Kent Walker and Eileen Naughton, CFO Ruth Porat, and CEO Sundar Pichai. These individuals can be seen disparaging the motivations of Trump voters and plotting ways to use their vast resources to thwart the Trump agenda.

Co-founder Sergey Brin can be heard comparing Trump supporters to fascists and extremists. Brin argues that like other extremists, Trump voters were motivated by "boredom," which he says in the past led to fascism and communism. [He] then asks his company to consider what it can do to ensure a "better quality of governance and decision-making."

VP for Global Affairs Kent Walker argues that supporters of populist causes like the Trump campaign are motivated by "fear, xenophobia, hatred, and a desire for answers that may or may not be there." Later, Walker says that Google should fight to ensure the populist movement - not just in the U.S. but around the world - is merely a "blip" and a "hiccup" in a historical arc that "bends toward progress."

CEO Sundar Pichai states that the company will develop machine learning and A.I. to combat what an employee described as "misinformation" shared by "low-information voters." (Read more)

Father, we pray for the continued exposure of the social media companies and their partnership with those who desire to control our electoral process.

Their malice may be concealed by deception, but their wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. (Proverbs 26:26)

6. Democrats to delay Kavanaugh vote until next week - Washington Examiner

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, placed Kavanaugh's nomination on Thursday's schedule. But Democrats will likely use a committee rule that allows them to keep the nomination on hold for at least another week. That means a Judiciary Committee vote on Kavanaugh isn't likely to happen until Sept. 20 at the earliest.

Kavanaugh's name is listed atop an agenda to advance two dozen judges and five bills. But while Democrats can delay the committee vote, they lack the power to block Kavanaugh, who needs a simple majority to be confirmed. The Judiciary Committee is made up of 11 Republicans and 10 Democrats.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Tuesday in an interview aired by WAVE in Louisville that the Senate would vote on Kavanaugh's nomination the last week of September, in time for the Oct. 1 start of the Supreme Court term. "I'm confident he will be confirmed," McConnell said. (Read more)

Father, we lift up Brett Kavanaugh to You and pray this political confirmation process has transformed him into the Justice You desire him to be.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

7. Typical household now brings in as much income as before the recession - MarketWatch

For the third straight year, real median household income rose, climbing 1.8% to $61,372 in 2017, the Census Bureau reported Wednesday. The agency said that, due to changes in calculation, the level is statistically tied with 1999 and 2007. Looking at it a different way, the typical household has clawed back the losses in income from the Great Recession that started at the end of 2007.

More Americans went back to work - the number of full-time male workers rose by 1.4 million and the number of full-time female workers grew by 1 million. The real median earnings of all male workers rose 3% while that for female workers didn't see a significant change. As the labor picture improved, so did the poverty numbers.

"In the beginning of the recovery economic gains went primarily to higher-income households. But over time the recovery has broadened, and now more households are seeing the benefits," said Gus Faucher, chief economist for PNC. "The gain was more broadly-based than in 2016, when the top 5% of households saw the fastest average income gains. Instead, 2017 brought the firmest growth in average income to households in the 40th to 80th percentiles," said David Deull, principal economist at IHS Markit. (Read more)

Father, thank You for this great news for American families!

All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, and Your godly ones shall bless You. (Psalm 145:10)

8. Kerry Meeting With Iran to Salvage Nuke Deal With Rogue Diplomacy - FreeBeacon

Former Secretary of State John Kerry disclosed that he has been conducting rogue diplomacy with top Iranian officials to salvage the landmark nuclear deal and push the Islamic Republic to negotiate its contested missile program, according to recent remarks. Kerry, in an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt to promote his new book, said that he has met with Iranian Former Minister Javad Zarif-the former secretary's onetime negotiating partner-three or four times in recent months behind the Trump administration's back.

Kerry said he has criticized the current administration in these discussions, chiding it for not pursuing negotiations from Iran, despite the country's fevered rhetoric about the U.S. president. Kerry said he met Zarif in Norway, Munich, and other international forums.

Criticizing the current White House, Kerry lamented that "it appears right now, as if the administration is hell bent to pursue a regime change strategy" in Iran that would "bring the economy down and try to isolate further." Iranian leaders have said multiple times in recent months that they will not take any meetings with Trump or his administration. (Read more)

Father, it appears real progress with Iran is impossible with John Kerry's interference. We pray You will discipline him and remove him from this role.

"How degenerate is your heart!" says the Lord God, "seeing you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot." (Ezekiel 16:30)

9. Over 30,000 Displaced from Idlib Already, Syria Faces Worst Catastrophe of Brutal Civil War - Breitbart

The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Monday that over 30,000 people have already fled their homes in the Idlib province of Syria, as Bashar Assad and his allies in Russia and Iran step up air and artillery strikes. The U.N. warned that Assad's invasion of Idlib could be the worst humanitarian catastrophe in a long and brutal civil war.

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley said Syria, Russia, and Iran have already launched a hundred airstrikes on Idlib and are planning a "bloody military conquest." Britain and France also backed Turkey's call for a ceasefire.

Russia's delegation responded by restating its commitment to fight "terrorists" in Idlib. "We cannot allow terrorists to hold hostage and use hundreds of thousands of people of Idlib as human shields," insisted Russian ambassador Vassily Nebenzia.

Russia's envoy to Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, met with U.N. special envoy Staffan de Mistura on Tuesday and said it would be preferable to resolve the Idlib situation in a "peaceful way" - a responsibility he laid at the feet of Turkey. Lavrentiev described Idlib as "a sort of zone of responsibility for Turkey," since it has forces in the area. He said it was Turkey's responsibility to "separate the moderate opposition from the extremists" such as al-Qaeda's Syrian operation, the Nusra Front. (Read more)

Father, this long war has deeply wounded the people of Syria. We pray they will be spared another escalation and ask You to restore their peace.

Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11b)

10. China's 'Digital' Totalitarian Experiment - Gatestone Institute

China's "social credit" system, which will assign every person a constantly updated score based on observed behaviors, is designed to control conduct by giving the ruling Communist Party the ability to administer punishments and hand out rewards. The former deputy director of the State Council's development research center says the system should be administered so that "discredited people become bankrupt".

Officials prevented Liu Hu, a journalist, from taking a flight because he had a low score. According to the Communist Party-controlled Global Times, as of the end of April 2018, authorities had blocked individuals from taking 11.14 million flights and 4.25 million high-speed rail trips. Chinese officials are using the lists for determining more than just access to planes and trains. "I can't buy property. My child can't go to a private school," Liu said. "You feel you're being controlled by the list all the time."

By 2020, Chinese officials plan to have about 626 million surveillance cameras operating throughout the country. Those cameras will, among other things, feed information into a national "social credit system." The government looks as if it is determined to create what the Economist called "the world's first digital totalitarian state." That social credit system, once perfected, will surely be extended to foreign companies and individuals.

Let us hope that China's people are not in fact discouraged. Given the breadth of the Communist Party's ambitions, everyone, Chinese or not, has a stake in seeing that Beijing's digital totalitarianism fails. (Read more)

Father, this certainly sounds like the tool the anti-Christ will use to prevent believers from buying or selling in the last days. We pray You will slow down this technology and cause the Chinese to rise up and reject it.

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. (Revelation 13:16-17)

The next Civil War in America

The liberal left has been fighting an underground civil war in America against anyone who disagrees with their radical and extremist political ideals. The heartbeat of that civil war is growing stronger and becoming more public with each passing day. No different than Islamic extremists, these socialists, communists and, yes, Democrats, are calling for and condoning violence. It is very similar to Islam in that the apologists keep saying that they are peaceful, yet they will not condemn violence when it occurs. It is a sad state of affairs when politics and religion cannot be discussed with civility among Americans. This is, however, the atmosphere that has boiled to the top of the leftist cauldron of "resistance."

Examples this week are indicators of just how bold the political intolerance and ideological bigotry of the left have become. In a TMZ interview on Sunday, 94 year old Actress Carole Cook (Dynasty, Cagney & Lacey) was asked what she thought of President Trump. She replied, "Where's John Wilkes Booth when you need him?" When asked in a follow up if she meant that Trump should be assassinated, she said, "Why not?" On Tuesday, an anonymous Democrat Socialist tweeted that he planned to attend a Trump "Make America Great Again" rally in Washington, DC, tweeting, "I am coming with a gun and I expect to get numerous bloodstained MAGA hats as trophies." The tweet pictured what appeared to be a .45 caliber or 9 mm semi-automatic pistol.

PJ Media reports that last week, PJ Media contributor and Fox News guest Denise McAllister sent out a powerful tweet denouncing the abortion movement. The tweet stated: "At the root of [abortion] hysteria is women's unhinged desire for irresponsible sex. Sex is their god. Abortion is their sacrament. It's abhorrent as women have flung themselves from the heights of being the world's civilizing force to the muck and mire of dehumanizing depravity." Since then, McAllister, a rape survivor, had to take herself and her children into hiding because of death and rape threats against her. When she went public about the threats, pro-abortion Twitter users approved of the threats against her.

On Sunday, Farzad Fazeli of Castro Valley, CA., was arrested after he approached Republican congressional candidate Rudy Peters yelling obscenities about Trump, and then threatened to kill Peters with a switchblade he pulled from his pocket. Arson is expected in a fire set to the Republican Party office in Laramie, WY last Thursday. Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has been calling for people to harass Trump supporters at restaurants, gas stations, and even in their homes. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), who survived an assassination attempt in July 2017, Friday said that the left should be held accountable for inciting violence against conservatives. This is the next civil war in America. Proverbs 17:11 says, "An evil man seeks only rebellion." Let us stand in the gap to resist such evil with prayer and action.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Nuclear Power Plants At Risk Of Direct Hit By Hurricane Florence

North and South Carolina nuclear power plants are in line for a possible direct hit from Hurricane Florence.

According to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), there are twelve operating nuclear power plants in the Carolinas that make electricity by the continuous splitting of uranium atoms (i.e., a nuclear reaction). These plants generally reside near a body of water-a river, lake, estuary or ocean-because they require a constant source of water for cooling purposes. Without cooling water, a nuclear reactor will overheat, leading to core damage, containment failure, and release of harmful radiation into the environment.

"Florence will approach the Carolina coast Thursday night into Friday with winds in excess of 100mph along with flooding rains. This system will approach the Brunswick Nuclear Plant as well as the Duke-Sutton Steam Plant," said Ed Vallee, a meteorologist at Vallee Wx Consulting.
"Dangerous wind gusts and flooding will be the largest threats to these operations with inland plants being susceptible to inland flooding," said Vallee. He tweeted a few weather models Tuesday morning that forecasts rainfall amounts 15-40" range in some regions along the coast. One of those models is the ECMWF Total Precipitation, which shows the most torrential rain could be situated around the two nuclear power plants in Wilmington, North Carolina.
"The latest forecast is projecting that Hurricane Florence will strengthen "to near category 5 strength" before it makes landfall in the Carolinas, and it is being called "a serious threat to lives and property". It is extremely rare for a hurricane of this intensity to come this far north, and one expert is claiming that Florence "has the potential to be the most destructive hurricane we've had in modern history for this region."

At this time, the government is warning of "a life-threatening storm surge" of up to 20 feet or higher, "life-threatening freshwater flooding", and "damaging hurricane-force winds". But there is another factor that not a lot of people are talking about. There are 12 nuclear power reactors in the Carolinas, including two that are located right along the coast, said Economic Collapse Blog.

Flooding from the storm could be catastrophic for the nuclear power plants. Excessive amounts of water can damage equipment or knock out the plants' electrical systems, disabling its cooling mechanisms. This is what happened at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant in Japan as a result of the March 2011 tsunami, causing severe damage to the plant's reactors. (ZeroHedge.com) Read more and view maps of the locations of these 12 nuclear reactors here.
- Father, we thank You that one of our readers has called this danger to our attention, as this information is not being reported on the mainstream media. Thank You, Lord, for watchmen on the wall!

We turn to You now, asking that these plants be kept safe from harm, even if by means of divine intervention. T Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer today, amen. - "For nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1:37)

President Trump Speaks about Florence

A message from President Trump on Hurricane Florence

This week, three major storms threaten American communities across an area spanning nearly 5,000 miles: Hurricane Florence (the Southeastern coast), Tropical Storm Olivia (Hawaii), and Tropical Storm Isaac (the Caribbean).

Hurricane Florence in particular poses a catastrophic threat to millions living in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. The storm is expected to produce total rainfall of 20 to 30 inches, with isolated amounts up to 40 inches. "These numbers are hard to comprehend, but based on past experience, this amount of rain produces life-threatening, catastrophic flooding," the National Weather Service tweeted.
President Donald J. Trump met with Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, FEMA Administrator Brock Long, and other senior officials yesterday in the Oval Office to discuss preparations. "Hurricane Florence is setting out to be a devastating event," Administrator Long said, comparing its potential to Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
The Administration is focused on helping state leaders and the general public alike before, during, and after the storm makes landfall. "We're supporting the governors with achieving their life safety evacuation and movements," Administrator Long said. "We're focused on mass care and sheltering. And then we'll be focused on helping them to execute their response and recovery goals."
Earlier this week, President Trump approved emergency declarations for South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. "I've spoken with the governors," President Trump said yesterday. "They're prepared. We're prepared."

To all Americans in the path of these storms: Be safe, be ready, and follow the advice of local officials.

(Israel) Before your eyes it's happening

THE GOLDEN REPORT:

Before your eyes it's happening

9-13-2018

There is a convergence of evil powers on Israel's northern border; Russia, Iraq, Lebanon and Iran all four are moving into Syria for their final attack on Israel.

To begin with Russia is not only directly involved in military action in Syria but supplying all the weapons Iran, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Iraq need to destroy Israel. What's more obvious is they are all moving their missiles and military into Syria directly to our north as prophesied in Ezekiel 38.
I have wondered why Russia and Iran are allowing Israel to attack their newly established missiles bases in Syria and not retaliating. Not until recently have I come up with the answer "thank you Lord". For every missile or missile base Israel hits they are moving a dozen others into place. They don't want an all out war with Israel until they believe they have enough missiles and military in place just north of Israel in Syria and Lebanon to get the job done right this time.
God's Word is so amazing! Thousands of years ago we are told in His Word what would happen in the day we now live and every prophetic word is as always perfect and on time. Not only are we told of the gathering of the enemies of God and of Israel that would assemble to the north of Israel in preparation for a great battle. But we are told many other things will happen as well.

[See: Ezekiel 38:14-19]

We are reading in our local newspapers a warning from the Israeli Government that we must prepare for a great major earthquake the geologist are telling us could be any day now. For me that warning only verifies the time in which we now find ourselves.

We read in Matt.24:38,39 . . .

. . . God has been drawing the attention of those who know Him to keep their eyes on Israel for it is the apple of His Eye, it's His timepiece and it always first to the Jew.
Donald Trump is the last chance for America and has forced the evil there to show its ugly face trying to stop him. I wondered why God would find a man like Donald Trump but then I thought of Paul and the kind of man he was before God touched him for a mission. Or David and all his sins but God always uses imperfect men and women to testify of a perfect Messiah.
I want to close with two thoughts. First you must be sure all is right with your relationship with God. You know how that relationship stands no one needs to tell you. If Yeshua (Jesus) is not the Messiah (Christ) of your life settle that now before it's too late.

You must prepare for your family I-Tim. 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. It's not that difficult to store up some water and food, you can always use it.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this ministry and your part in it.

Shalom,
Jerry Golden

Hurricane Florence weakens to Cat 2 storm but storm surge expected to hit 'catastrophic levels'

Hurricane Florence late Wednesday has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm but it is still considered an extremely dangerous and life-threatening storm. Florence's nighttime winds were down to 110 mph from a high of 140 mph. But authorities warned it will still be an extremely dangerous hurricane.

NOAA's National Weather Service said in a tweet that its "weakening" only refers to maximum winds. The wind field has expanded and "storm surge potential are still at catastrophic levels."

President Trump on Wednesday said that as Hurricane Florence makes its way toward the U.S., "protection of life is the absolute highest priority." The hurricane, according to the president, will be "one of the biggest to ever hit the East Coast, one of the biggest to ever hit our country."
More than 10 million people were under storm watches and warnings on Wednesday as Hurricane Florence - described as "the storm of a lifetime" -- headed to the coast.

North and South Carolina, along with Virginia, Maryland and Georgia, remain under states of emergency ahead of the "Mike Tyson punch" of a storm's expected landfall in the U.S. later this week.

While Florence was slightly reduced in strength earlier from 140 mph winds, meteorologists expect the hurricane to jump back to a Category 4 by Thursday morning. Forecasters predict the storm will make landfall Thursday night or sometime on Friday.

In addition to the hurricane-strength winds blowing ashore Friday, Florence has the potential to bring a storm surge upwards of 6 feet in parts of the coastline including up to 13 feet from Cape Fear north to Cape Lookout.

The hurricane could also produce heavy and excessive rainfall - up to 40 inches in isolated areas in the Carolinas and anywhere between 6 to 12 inches elsewhere in the Appalachians and Mid-Atlantic region.
It will also pass directly over two nuclear power plants - the Brunswick Nuclear Plant, which is located 30 miles south of Wilmington, as well as the Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, about 23 miles from Raleigh.
The National Weather Service said Hurricane Florence will likely be "the storm of a lifetime" for portions of the Carolina coast.
- Father, we thank You that You have heard our prayers, and that this monster storm has now lessened in strength from a Category 4 to a Category 2 in a short amount of time. We ask that this weakening trend continue.

We ask, too, that those in the path of this storm continue to remain vigilant, however, due to the catastrophic rains and floods that are predicted to hit our mainland. Amen.

Mexico:

Hit Man Pulled the Trigger Point Blank against a Pastor,
But the Gun Wouldn't Fire

"Whenever a Christian starts to engage in social work-for example setting up a drug rehabilitation clinic or organizing youth work-that is a direct threat to the activities and interests of organized crime because it takes the youth away from them, so it is a direct threat to their market."

(Mexico)-[God Reports] A Mexican pastor who survived an assassination attempt in the border city of Juarez in June says he was targeted because his church's work is seen to negatively impact upon the efforts of drug cartels.

A hit man entered the pastor's home on June 12th, making him kneel down on the floor and telling him "you don't know who you are messing about with". The man then pulled the trigger on his gun, but it failed to fire, so he knocked the pastor unconscious and stole his wallet, before fleeing.

"All I can say is that with the work we do as a church we have affected the activities of those groups involved in drug trafficking and also the organized crime. We are not sure what comes next," said the pastor, whose name is being withheld to protect him.

The attack came just days after the murder of fellow local pastor Eduardo Garcia. (Breaking Christian News) Read more.

- Father God, we thank You for this testimony, and we praise You for Your miraculous intervention. We lift up the family of Pastor Eduardo Garcia, asking You to comfort them as they mourn. We ask for Your angelic host to be dispatched to protect all of these brave pastors in Mexico who are now on the front lines in the war on drugs and against the work of the cartels. In Your Name, amen.
- "For nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1:37)

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
