5. VOTER FRAUD? Twice As Many Ballots Cast As There Are Voters In Georgia Precinct - Daily Wire

Twice as many ballots as the number of registered voters were cast in a northeastern Georgia precinct during the state's primary elections in May. According to official numbers from the Georgia Secretary of State, 670 votes were cast in Habersham County's Mud Creek precinct, where there were only 276 registered voters, says a report from McClatchy DC. Impossibly, this means the precinct saw a 243% voter turnout.

In a bizarre turn of events, the number of registered voters changed from 276 to 3,704 on the secretary of state's website on Tuesday morning.

Questions of electronic malfunction, outside tampering, and voter fraud - particularly in light of a pending investigation into alleged voter fraud during the Atlanta mayoral election runoff in December - linger over the state.

"The odd turnout figures last Friday were filed as part of a federal lawsuit against the state by election security activists that included a number of sworn statements and exhibits from activists and voters who experienced a series of bizarre and confusing issues at the state's polling places," reports McClatchy. (Read more)

- Father, we pray that only valid registered voters will be allowed to cast their ballots in any election. We know that dirty tricks abound in the efforts to sway elections, so we ask for Your intervention in campaigns across the country. Let deception be revealed in all cases prior to election day.

- "The counsels of the wicked are deceitful." (Proverbs 12:5b)

6. Pray for fair, honest elections in the Midterms - Intercessors for America
A majority of the Primaries are over and candidates are pressing toward the Midterms with ads, door-knocking and media appearances. If you haven't already, find out who is running for election representing your own district and state and lift them up daily from now until the elections.

Pray for integrity in the voting process. There are reports of more votes cast than eligible voters in some areas in our country. Let's agree in prayer for any plans to scam the voting system to be found out and thwarted. Pray for the people in this prayer guide who are helping administer and manage processes related to voting. 7. WHAT'S AT STAKE IN THE 2018 MIDTERM ELECTIONS - PrayinUnity (Official launch next Friday!)

In the Midterm General Elections, November 6, 2018, Americans will vote on:

Laws regulating abortion
Euthanasia legislation
Parental rights
Definition of marriage
Gender identification
Increasing attacks against religious freedom

All of the above could change based on the voter turnout of God's people in the upcoming general election.

The 2014 midterm elections turnout was the lowest in 70 years.3 Due to prayer walking and Christian get-out-the-vote projects, 2016 saw the greatest turnout in decades.

8. The Most Important Election in 222 Years - American Thinker

The election of 1796 was arguably the most important in the nation's history because it represented our first true transfer of power. Many had urged Washington to be king. Instead, he willingly gave his power back to the people, who then placed it into the hands of our second president, John Adams. Thoughts of monarchy were forgotten, and America was set on a course it maintained for the next 204 years.

The presidential election of 2000 established a new paradigm, where the winner of the contest was considered illegitimate by a large part of the opposition. Ditto 2004 and 2016. Though the effort to de-legitimize President Bush was interrupted by 9/11, the new paradigm appears fixed. The peaceful transfer of power is no longer a given. America is at a tipping point, and the 2018 elections will likely determine which direction we take for a generation or more.

Sitting out the elections is not merely a self-absorbed statement that you are offended by Trump's personality; it is agreement that the left and its allies can be trusted with power. For the first time since their ascendancy, the left and their enablers are off balance and fully exposed. You can either help to deliver them a crippling blow or extend your hand to help them up. 9. And finally: 40 DAYS OF PRAYING IN UNITY FOR THE NATION - SEPTEMBER 28 THROUGH ELECTION DAY, NOVEMBER 6

Please stay tuned for further details on this initiative, which will begin on Friday, Sept. 28th. We will post more news on this exciting, national time of unity in prayer later this week. Shalom!

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(I Timothy 2: 1-4)

Focus on Israel

1. Accusing IDF of deception, Russia blames Israel for downing of spy plane - Times of Israel

Moscow on Sunday blamed Israel for the downing by Syrian anti-aircraft fire of a Russian spy plane during an Israeli air raid in Syria last week, saying its military had been misled by the Israel Defense Forces about the time and location of the airstrike.

In a press briefing, the Russian defense ministry rejected the findings of the IDF about the incident and insisted that the Israeli pilots who conducted the raid on a Syrian military facility in Latakia used the Russian reconnaissance aircraft as cover during their assault - something Israel has repeatedly denied.

It also said Israel did not give Russia sufficient warning time ahead of the attack, and that it did not accurate information on the specific target of the attack. The Russian plane was thus unable to move out of the target area in good time, it said.

2. IDF rejects Moscow claim of 'criminal negligence,' vows to keep targeting Iran - Times of Israel

The Israeli military on Sunday rejected the Russian defense ministry's claim that it was entirely to blame for the downing of a Russian spy plane by Syrian air defenses during an Israeli strike last week, reiterating that Syria was at fault.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces maintained its version of events - that the Russian reconnaissance plane was shot down as a result of indiscriminate Syrian anti-aircraft fire - and said it would continue to act to prevent terrorist groups from obtaining advanced weapons.

"The full, accurate and factual details are known to the Russian military professionals involved in the matter, and from them it is clear that the deconfliction mechanism worked and did so in a timely manner (as it has for the past two and a half years)," the IDF said Sunday evening, referring to a hotline between the two militaries meant to avoid such inadvertent clashes and casualties.

3. Is China Intruding On Israel's Defense Industry? - Jerusalem Post

As China seeks to implement its "Belt and Road" projects in the Mediterranean, some Israeli analysts are raising alarm over what they see as a Chinese intrusion into sensitive areas of Israeli defense and key commercial industries.

On the defense front, the Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG), a Chinese company, is set to take over the management of a new privately constructed seaport in Haifa bay in 2021. After helping expand the port in the last few years, the company will be granted a 25-year contract to run it.

Haifa's harbor is also a strategic port of call for US Navy ships in the region. When SIPG takes over a commercial section of the harbor, this means that Chinese personnel will be in close proximity to US naval ships and installations, raising questions about security risks, including the potential for Chinese espionage and the stealing of vital industrial and defense secrets. In this respect, the Chinese takeover of even one part of the harbor could cause a significant rift with Israel's long-time and most vital ally-the US.

What's more worrisome from Israel's perspective is that the seaport in question is not far from an Israeli navy base, where the country purportedly maintains a fleet of submarines that have nuclear-weapon capabilities. Critics say that China's shipping operations in close proximity to the fleet amount to an unacceptable security risk.

4. Seven fires reported in Gaza border communities - Jerusalem Post

Seven fires, caused by incendiary balloons launched from the Gaza Strip, were reported burning in Gaza border communities Sunday evening, according to Israel's Parks and Nature Authority.

Fires were reported in Kissufim forest, Kibbutz Be'eri, Kibbutz Re'im and Nahal Gerar. Firefighters aided by JNF teams are attempting to bring the fires under control.

No casualties have been reported from the blazes, but 300 dunams of land have burned in Nahal Gerar.

Palestinians in Gaza have been holding violent demonstrations along the border with Israel since March 30 as part of what organizers have called the "Great March of Return."

5. Hamas says indirect ceasefire talks with Israel halted, protests to escalate - Times of Israel

Gaza's Hamas rulers said on Sunday that their indirect negotiations to reach a long-term ceasefire agreement with Israel have halted and vowed to step up the violent protests along the border.

Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri blamed the impasse on the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority, which has voiced its strong opposition to the Egypt-brokered talks. Abu Zuhri said that in response, the Gaza-based terrorist group was escalating its protests in new locations along Gaza's borders with Israel.

6. Ocasio-Cortez appeared on podcast hosted by activist who said 'Jews should get the [expletive deleted] out of Palestine' - Fox News

New York Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once appeared on a podcast hosted by a progressive Puerto Rican activist who said Jews "should get the [xxxx] out of Palestine." Ocasio-Cortez, who rose to prominence after defeating top Democrat Joe Crowley in the party's U.S. House primary in June, got embroiled in a controversy back in July over her views on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

But before Ocasio-Cortez's stunning victory against Crowley, which thrust her into the national spotlight, she went on a Spanish-language podcast in May hosted by Rafael Tirado Rivera, a progressive activist in Puerto Rico, who once expressed anti-Semitic views, including that Jewish people should vacate the Middle East, Fox News can reveal.

"I stand behind Helen Thomas' comments on Jews. They should get the f--- out of Palestine," Rivera wrote in a tweet in 2010. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, asking for Your hand of mercy to rest upon her in this hour. Lord God, we pray that she would be so impacted by a move of Your Glory, that she would repent, turn from her wicked ways, and understand Your heart for the children of Isaac. We cancel her words in this article by the Blood of the Lamb, and ask for her salvation, in Your name, amen.

- "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18)

> > > Please note for Succot, which began last night:
We finished by praying for the salvation of Israel during Succot - the Feast of Tabernacles - which starts this Sunday evening and lasts for eight days. It was at the climax of this feast that the following happened.

And in the last day of the great feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water".' (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua was not yet glorified.)" (John 7:37-39)

We claim Psalm 91 for our city, in Your name, amen.

- "He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways."

2. Supreme Showdown: Dems Tell American Men 'Just Shut Up', Threaten to Impeach Kavanaugh - CBN News

Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, has rejected Friday's deadline and asked for one extra day to decide if she will testify in the Senate. Grassley acquiesced, granting Ford's request in a tweet sent just before midnight Friday. Ford's legal team has made an offer to senators and now both sides are trying to work out the details, but the Senate Judiciary Committee is not likely to accept all of her terms.

A GOP spokesman for the panel said the details are still being figured out, noting Grassley "remains committed to providing a fair forum for both Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh." In a letter to the committee, Kavanaugh writes he wants a hearing as soon as possible to clear his name. "Since the moment I first heard this allegation," he writes, "I have categorically and unequivocally denied it. I remain committed to defending my integrity."

Meanwhile, Democrats say if Kavanaugh is confirmed and they win control of Congress in the upcoming elections, they plan to launch investigations to possibly impeach Kavanaugh. Senate Judiciary Committee member Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) said "I just want to say to the men in this country: Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change," she said. (Read more)

A Yale University classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has claimed that he exposed himself to her at a college party in the early 1980s, the New Yorker magazine reported late Sunday -- a claim that Kavanaugh and the White House denied. Read more.

- Almighty God, we reach up and lay hold of the horns of the altar of our God to throw down in utter defeat all evil schemes, lies, imaginations, abominations, made by Dr. Ford and her team, and the Democrats, against Brett Kavanaugh. We declare that God's will be done as the final word here. We pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Lord.

- "And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commands Jesus even the unclean spirits, and they do obey Him." (Mark 1:27)

3. Fox News Poll: Record number of voters oppose Kavanaugh nomination - Fox News

Voter support for Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court is down in the wake of Christine Ford's assault allegations, as more believe her than him.

Currently, 40 percent of voters would confirm Kavanaugh, while 50 percent oppose him, according to a Fox News poll. Last month, views split 45-46 percent (August 19-21).

Overall, the 50 percent opposing Kavanaugh is the highest opposition to a Supreme Court nominee in Fox surveys going back to 2005. Forty-six opposed Kavanaugh in August. Before his nomination, the previous high was when 39 percent opposed Neil Gorsuch in March 2017.

"It's not terribly surprising Kavanaugh's numbers would drop given the nature of the claim," says Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the Fox News poll with Democratic counterpart Chris Anderson. "Accusations tend to drive opinion when they come late in the game and when people don't know much about the person who is being accused." (Read more)

- Father God, we continue to lift this nomination before Your Throne of Grace, asking only that the man (or woman) of Your choosing be placed on the seat now vacated by Justice Kennedy. We further proclaim that this seat belongs to YOU, and not to any man, in Your Name, amen.

- " . . . the LORD is our judge, and He will save us." (Isaiah 33:22)

4. Trump met with DOJ to discuss concerns about declassification of Russia probe documents - Washington Times

President Trump announced Friday that he met with the Justice Department about their security concerns regarding his order to release sensitive documents, but emphasized that he still has overriding power to declassify "if it proves necessary." Mr. Trump said the department agreed to release documents and text messages related to the Russia investigation, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and Carter Page, but "stated that so doing may have a perceived negative impact on the Russia probe."

The president's declassification order included a request to release text messages from Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, former FBI Directors James Comey and Andrew McCabe, and former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. He said the inspector general was asked to review the documents in light of their concerns, but emphasized that "speed is very important."

Bloomberg reported Wednesday that the Justice Department and FBI were planning to submit documents to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence with proposed redactions before they are sent to the White House. (Read more)

- Lord God Almighty, we pray that there will be no redactions allowed in any of these sensitive documents. Be with President Trump so he will stand firm in his authority and overriding power to declassify them, and the text messages related to the Russia investigation, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and Carter Page. Father God, take full authority over the release of these documents, and all text messages from Orr, Comey, McCabe, Strzok and Page. We declare and pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." (Matthew 5:37)

5. Rosenstein Denies NYT Report: The Story Is 'Inaccurate and Factually Incorrect' - FreeBeacon

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Friday denied a New York Times report claiming that he suggested last year that he secretly record Donald Trump in the White House and discussed invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office. "The New York Times' story is inaccurate and factually incorrect. I will not further comment on a story based on anonymous sources who are obviously biased against the [Justice] Department and are advancing their own personal agenda," Rosenstein said in a statement. "But let me be clear about this: based on my personal dealings with the president, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment."

The Times reported Friday that Rosenstein suggested secretly recording his conversations with Trump "to expose the chaos consuming the administration" and raised the 25th Amendment with cabinet members. A Justice Department spokeswoman who was present when Rosenstein suggested wearing a wire, and who would not be named, said that Rosenstein did make the remark but did so sarcastically. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask that this entire scenario be put under the Blood of Jesus Christ, and become nonexistent for future comments. We pray and believe in the Name of Jesus.

"And the judges shall make diligent inquisition; and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and has testified falsely against his brother; Then shall you do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shall you put the evil away from among you." (Deuteronomy 19:18-19)

6. Republican Congress Using Defense Bill to Fund Planned Parenthood and Aborted-Baby-Parts Research - CNS News

The Republican-controlled Congress is moving to enact a Defense appropriations bill that has morphed into a multi-agency "minibus" and continuing resolution that funds Planned Parenthood and research that uses fetal tissue taken from aborted babies. The bill passed the Senate Tuesday and is expected to come up for a vote in the House next week.

Sen. Mike Lee (R.-Utah), one of the six Republicans, delivered a floor speech explaining his opposition to this bill that funds Planned Parenthood and fetal-tissue research. "For the second straight year of unified Republican governance-unified pro-life governance-Congress's annual spending bills will include no new reforms protecting unborn children or getting federal taxpayers out of the abortion business," said Lee.

"The House version of this Health and Human Services spending bill included multiple reforms," said Lee. "It denied taxpayer funds to the largest abortion provider in the country, Planned Parenthood. It eliminated Title X family planning grants, which cross-subsidize abortion providers. It prohibited Federal funding of research on aborted fetal tissue. It included the Conscience Protection Act protecting pro-life people and groups from funding discrimination.

"None of these modest, commonsense spending reforms survived the House-Senate negotiations-none of them," said Lee. "None was made a priority by the people empowered to set priorities." (Read more)

- Almighty God and Father of all mankind, we stand boldly before the throne of grace and plead the cause of the silent people, the unborn aborted babies. By the powerful blood of the Resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray Planned Parenthood and Aborted-Baby-Parts Research be destroyed and wiped off the face of the earth forever. We pray God's judgment fall upon any and all people involved in the propagation of legalized murder, because the blood of babies are dripping from their hands and their minds are darkened. We pray and plead God's intervention in the Name of Jesus, amen.

"But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts has sent in His Spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts."
(Zechariah 7:11-12)

7. MIT Study: The Number Of Illegal Immigrants Could Be Double Previous Estimates - Daily Caller

The true number of illegal immigrants living in the U.S. - long a subject of intense debate - could be twice as high as commonly accepted figures, according to a study by a Massachusetts Institute of Technology researcher. The study published Friday by Mohammad Fazel-Zarandi, a senior lecturer at MIT's Sloan School of Management, estimates there are about 22.1 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. today. Most frequently cited estimates put the number between 11 and 12 million.

Fazel-Zarandi and his colleagues used mathematical modeling based on "operational data" - border apprehensions, deportations, visa overstays and demographic data - to arrive at their estimate. The approach eliminated the uncertainty found in methods that rely on surveys, which are a less reliable gauge of the illegal immigrant population, according to the researchers.

If corroborated, the numbers reported in the MIT study could have major implications for immigration policy under the Trump administration, which has made a crackdown on illegal immigration a centerpiece of its agenda. President Donald Trump has repeatedly painted illegal immigration as threat to public safety and the economic well-being of American workers, while administration critics contend he is exaggerating the scope of the problem. (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we call on the great power of God in heaven to draw the illegal immigrants to the forefront and relieve the United States of America of the immediate threat they have to public safety and the economic well-being of American workers. Lord, we pray for Your immediate intervention to solving this national problem. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, You shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love, and his wives turned away his heart from God." (I Kings 11:2-3)

8. Dam breach raises concerns about coal ash flowing into North Carolina river - ABC News

Duke Energy says a dam at a power plant in Wilmington, North Carolina has been breached, raising concerns that water contaminated with byproducts of burning coal could flow into the Cape Fear River. Duke says ponds that store solid byproducts of burning coal that can contaminate waterways with substances like mercury and arsenic, known as coal ash, are submerged but they believe stable and not releasing ash into the river.

Gray material that Duke Energy characterized as lightweight coal combustion byproducts are seen floating on the top of the lake, near Wilmington, N.C., in a photo released by Duke Energy, Sept. 21, 2018. Duke says flooding at the Sutton Power Plant in Wilmington caused breaches in a dam on a lake to store water for cooling the facility and that the water is overflowing into the Cape Fear River. The water from the cooling lake also overflowed into a natural gas plant, which has been shut down.

EPA Region 4 Administrator Trey Glenn said in a statement that EPA is monitoring the Sutton site and other sites around the state for potential impacts to the environment and human health. The Cape Fear River is a source of drinking water in Wilmington, NC. The state has been looking into levels of a chemical used to make non-stick products in the water after it was released into the river last year, according to The News and Observer. (Read more)

- Righteous Father, we pray Your angels from heaven be assigned a post around the dam at this power plant in Wilmington and the byproducts of burning coal that could flow into the Cape Fear River. Father, we ask that You intervene to protect this river, which is a source of pubic drinking water in Wilmington, and local use of the water. Lord, should there be a need for personnel replacement to better monitor these waterways, we ask that the angels will accomplish that assignment. We pray and believe for Your hand to be over this entire area. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen.

-"I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel your King. Thus says he Lord, which makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters." (Isaiah 43:15-16)

9. White House proposes executive order for Trump that would examine tech companies' practices - The Hill

The White House is drafting an executive order to look into the business practices of top tech companies like Google and Facebook, Bloomberg reported Saturday. A copy of the draft order obtained by Bloomberg directs federal antitrust and law enforcement officials to "thoroughly investigate whether any online platform has acted in violation of the antitrust laws." Other government agencies are then asked to provide recommendations on how to "protect competition among online platforms and address online platform bias." Bloomberg noted that no companies are explicitly named in the order, but that it would apply to tech giants like Google, Twitter and Facebook.

Executives from Twitter and Facebook testified before Congress earlier this month. The Justice Department announced the same day that Attorney General Jeff Sessions would meet with state attorneys general to determine if tech companies are "intentionally stifling" free speech on their platforms.

"The Attorney General has convened a meeting with a number of state attorneys general this month to discuss a growing concern that these companies may be hurting competition and intentionally stifling the free exchange of ideas on their platforms," a Justice Department spokesman said at the time. (Read more)

- Almighty Father, we lift this matter before Your throne room and pray that the intricate distinction between good and evil intentions be weighed before You. Stand against tech giants from dishonesty regarding free speech. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "The Lord is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will magnify the law, and make it honorable." (Isaiah 42:21)

10. US-China trade war: visit to Washington by Beijing's top economic adviser Liu He cancelled, source says - South China Morning Post

A planned visit by Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He to the United States for trade talks has been cancelled, a source said on Saturday after Beijing said on Friday that Washington needed to "correct its mistakes" regarding its handling of the ongoing tariff war.

The source, who asked not to be identified, said that a delegation led by Liu was set to hold talks in the US on Monday and Tuesday but that the trip had now been scrapped.

His comments confirmed that the meeting was in jeopardy as the US had failed to meet the precondition of "showing goodwill" with regards to seeking a resolution to the conflict. Instead, US President Donald Trump on Monday escalated the hostilities by imposing 10 per cent tariffs on almost half of all goods it imports from China.

Shi Yinhong, a government adviser and professor of international relations at Renmin University, said the current atmosphere was too heated for negotiations to be effective. Relations worsened still further on Thursday after Washington imposed sanctions on the Chinese military for buying Russian fighter jets and surface-to-air missile equipment, Shi said. (Read more)

- Righteous Father, we trust that China will be conciliatory to Trump's perspectives of future business with them. Thank the Lord for leading Trump to impose sanctions on the Chinese military in response to their buying Russian fighter jets and missile equipment. Touch President Trump and keep Your hand upon him in all these negotiations. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)

11. 'He's Put a Pause in Putin's Step': Crisis Averted in Syria, Trump & Erodgan Credited - CBN News

This week, Turkish President Erdogan met with Russian President Putin and warned him of the impending danger of a planned all-out assault on the city of Idlib, Syria. The city is in northwestern Syria not far from Aleppo and is considered one of the last remaining strongholds for the rebels fighting against the Assad regime. Erdogan fears a large-scale military assault on Idlib would create a massive flow of refugees into his country, leading to an unmanageable humanitarian crisis.

Putin reportedly convinced Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to establish a demilitarized zone in Idlib starting October 15. It isn't known at this time if anti-government insurgents-including the Al Nusra group and members of Al Qaeda-would agree to leave the area by that deadline, or if at all. John Hannah, senior counselor for the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies says President Trump's tough talks and tweets warning Putin and the Syrians to back off from the Idlib assault have made a difference in calming tensions-at least for now. (Read more)

- Father, we praise You for keeping Your hand on President Trump and guiding him to make godly decisions regarding the situation in Syria. Lord, put restrictions on Putin and al-Assad to come into agreement with God's perfect will for this area so there will be provision provided for the refugees' humanitarian needs. We ask that Your Holy Spirit will deal with the souls of these people and they call out to God and their souls be save. We pray in Jesus' Name.

- "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says the Lord that has mercy on you." (Isaiah 54:10)

Prayers for Israel, Syria, Russia

Prayers for Israel, Syria, Russia, and Turkey

Published by: Intercessors for Israel

The downing of a Russian plane by Syria this past week has put a great strain on the relationship between Israel and Russia. There have been accusations from Russian military leaders against Israel, yet President Putin has called it a terrible accident - and not blamed Israel. We see a power struggle between Putin and his military leaders, and recognize that Russia's army leaders have a history of hostility towards Israel and the Jews - while Putin is clearly a Philo-Semite. Israel's ability to have the freedom to protect itself against all of Iran's plots in Syria is vital to Israel's security.

Lord, we ask for clarity to see what You are doing in this confusing situation (Amos 3:7).

We pray for Your solution to be done so that You will receive the glory (Psa. 50:15).

Forbid that this tragic incident to hinder Israel's ability or willingness to continue to destroy all Iranian weapons depots in Syria (Isa. 41:15-16).

Give Israeli PM Netanyahu much courage to back up his words as he has said openly that Israel would continue to prevent Iranian forces from being established in Syria.

Watch over Proverbs 21:1 in both Putin and Netanyahu's life.

Let Putin reign in his military leaders and not vice-versa (Dan. 4:25b).

Concerning the Russian military leaders, we proclaim, "There are many plans in a man's heart, but the counsel of YHWH shall stand." (Prov. 19:21)

Let all counsel from America to Israel in this be of You - or let there be silence (Prov. 11:14; 15:22).
As the IAF flies combat missions, give the Israeli pilots courage, wisdom and protection (Isa. 31:5).

Resolve this tense situation between Israel and Russia - unless You are doing something which will become evident when it is fulfilled (Rev. 17:17).

Do not allow Iran and Hizbullah to blindside Israel while it is dealing with Russia (Psa. 124:1-8).

Classic Hymns

Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer

"Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises." (Psalm 47:6)

Lyrics

Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer! Sing, ye saints! His wonderful love proclaim! Hail Him! hail Him! mightiest angels in glory; Strength and honor give to His holy name! Like a shepherd, Jesus will feed His people, In His arms He carries them all day long; O ye saints that live in the light of His presence, Praise Him! praise Him! ever in joyful song!
Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer, For our sins He suffered and bled and died; He, our Rock, our Hope of eternal salvation, Hail Him! hail Him! Jesus, the Crucified; Loving Savior, meekly enduring sorrow, Crowned with thorns that cruelly pierced His brow; Once for us rejected, despised, and forsaken, Prince of Glory, ever triumphant now.
Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer, Heavenly portals, loud with hosannahs ring! Jesus, Savior, reigneth for ever and ever; Crown Him! crown Him! Prophet and Priest and King! Death is vanquished! Tell it with joy, ye faithful, Where is now thy victory, boasting grave? Jesus lives! No longer thy portals are cheerless; Jesus lives, the mighty and strong to save.

Signs and Wonders

Something Unexpected and Weird Is Happening Beneath California's Deadliest Faults

The detection of strange, unpredicted behavior deep below the surface near the San Andreas and San Jacinto faults suggests scientists have an incomplete understanding of the processes responsible for earthquakes in the region.

Over the past four decades, geoscientists have recorded thousands of small earthquakes in California's San Bernardino basin near the San Andreas and San Jacinto faults. New research published in Geophysical Research Letters suggests many of these quakes, some of which occur at depths between 6 and 12 miles (10 and 20 kilometers), are exhibiting surprising deformation patterns. Instead of slipping in a horizontal manner, many of these earthquakes show vertical movement far below the surface.

This previously undetected movement, dubbed "deep creep," suggests things aren't happening beneath the San Andreas and San Jacinto faults in the ways we think they are. And that's a problem, given the history of the region. Regions along these major faults are vulnerable to damaging earthquakes, the most recent being the 1989 Loma Prieta quake (in the Santa Cruz Mountains south of the Bay area), which registered a magnitude 6.9, killed over 60 people, and caused upward of $6 billion in damages.
Surprisingly, one-third of all small earthquakes detected in the region since 1982 are of the deep creep variety, according to the authors of the new study, geoscientists Michele Cooke and Jennifer Beyer from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. These enigmatic slips are mostly occurring to the northeast of the San Jacinto Fault, and primarily below depths of 6 miles. This strange behavior, the authors say, was completely missed by scientists, the impacts of which now need to be determined. (Gizmodo.com/Fox News) Read more.

The Good News Corner

ACLJ Defends Christians Facing Persecution in the Middle East and Nigeria at the U.N.

First, it is imperative for the U.N. to declare that the atrocities ISIS has been carrying out against Christians and other religious and ethnic minorities constitute genocide. A declaration of genocide is necessary because it will open avenues of aid that would otherwise be unavailable to the victims of genocide. Second, the U.N. must provide the assistance and security necessary to clean-up the destruction caused by ISIS' genocide and to allow for the lasting resettlement of the victims of ISIS' atrocities, including those who survive the genocide.

Through our affiliate, the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ)-we delivered two critical oral interventions at the U.N. Human Rights Council on behalf of Christians facing the humanitarian crisis as a result of the ISIS genocide, as well Christians facing violent attacks at the hands of Boko Haram and the Fulani Herdsman.

In our oral intervention on the victims of the atrocities being carried out by Boko Haram and the Fulani Herdsman, we told of the dangers children, especially Christian children, face on a daily basis. We told stories of how these groups attack children at school, church and even result to kidnapping girls from boarding schools. We also told the story of Liya Sharibu, who was kidnapped and remained captive simply because she would not renounce her Christian faith.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
